As Pride Month 2022 ramps up, join host Beau Bradley (he/they) as he sits down with Executive Director of local Seattle non-profit, GenPride, Steven Knipp (he/him), to discuss some LGBTQIA+ History, Steven's personal experiences as a part of our community, and what it is like for our elders to stay active  and connected, especially in the pandemic era.

GenPride is an organization that advocates for the unique needs of older LGBTQIA+ adults, offers innovative programs and services that promote wellbeing and prevent social isolation, cultivates belonging through community connection, and works to eliminate discrimination in all its forms.

To find out more about GenPride, it's programs, or how you can get involved (at any age), check out https://www.genprideseattle.org or find them on social media @GenPrideSeattle.

Beau finishes the episode with a mental health check in for the community, which is especially important right now, during the Pride Month Rush, and caps it off with an affirmation.
