Welcome to episode 53 of Bede Vs. The Living Dead.
It's back! After a six week break, the podcast is back with its long-awaited new episode, which is also its first one for 2025. Your host Bede Jermyn promises that this is going to be big year for the show when it comes to all things related to Night Of The Living Dead. For this episode to start off 2025, Bede checks out a recent film that was made to commemorate the recent 55th anniversary of the original NOTLD: the 2024 Tubi produced spiritual sequel Festival Of The Living Dead, which was directed by Jen & Sylvia Soska (American Mary, Dead Hooker In A Trunk, Rabid '19).
Joining Bede to discuss this Tubi Original film are two guests who know a thing or two about Tubi: returning guest (The Super Network, The Tubi Tuesdays Podcast) and first-time guest Brad A. Hargis (Old Man Brad: A Horror Podcast). Higlights include Brad talking about the first time he saw Night Of The Living Dead (1968), what makes Tubi a great streaming service, wondering if Festival Of The Living Dead needed to be a "sequel", how the characters are a mix-bag, the frustrating plotholes in the script, wondering where the security at this music festival, Marcey's hated for "Ty" ans so much more.
