Welcome to episode 2 of Bede & Steve Vs. Leatherface, where your hosts Bede Jermyn & Steven T. Boltz explore the films of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise.
Well, it has finally arrived. After the releasing the pilot episode back in October to the waters if there would be any interest, Bede & Steve are back with their long-awaited second episode of the podcast into exploring all things The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. For this one, your hosts take a look at the follow-up to the legendary 1974 horror classic with its 1986 sequel The Texas Chainsaw Masssacre 2, which was once again directed Tobe Hooper (Lifeforce, Eaten Alive) and produced by infamous '80s schlock studio The Cannon Group (American Ninja, Masters Of The Universe).
However, Bede & Steve won't be alone on this episode. Joining the hosts to discuss this second film in the franchise are first-time guests author Aaron Dries (House Of Sighs, Dirty Heads and Cut To Care: A Collection Of Little Hurts, which you can buy at his official website here) and Warren Money (co-host of s#1tcast). Highlights include the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre film that both Aaron & Warren watched, who really hated the film the first they watched it?, how Tobe Hooper set out to make a sequel that was different from the first, is Leatherface's mask the worst thing that Tom Savini has made?, the mixed feelings of the third act and so much more.
