Kaitlyn Aquino is a passionate Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT) with a Master of Music in Applied Music and Health Sciences from the University of Toronto under the supervision of Dr. Corene Thaut, co-founder of Neurologic Music Therapy. She is the founder of Rhythmic Rehab Inc, a rehabilitation company providing high quality Neurologic Music Therapy services to individuals with neurologic impairment in Toronto, Ontario. Her expertise spans across the lifespan, from neurodevelopmental disorders to neurologic illness and injury, with a focus on supporting cognitive, sensorimotor, speech and language, and psychosocial needs within an interdisciplinary team. Specializing in neurorehab, she completed her clinical training with MEDRhythms at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and the Neurologic Music Therapy Services of Arizona. She is active within the music therapy community, serving as Treasurer for the Music Therapy Association of Ontario. Kaitlyn is dedicated to collaborating with community partners to advocate, educate and treat, helping individuals find their rhythm.
