What happenswhen the miracle hasn't
come yet?
Holy Saturday, the daybetween the cross
and the resurrection,was a day of waiting.
It's a day of griefand a day of silence.
If friends, welcome to Behindthe Mike Podcast,
I'm Mike Stone, and todaywe're talking about
a part of Holy Week that doesn'tget much attention.

We call it Holy Saturday,the day after Jesus died,
but before he rose again.
It's the in-between.
It's the pause between promiseand fulfillment.
Imagine what the discipleswere feeling.
The one they had followed, lovedand believed was
the Messiah was dead.

The sky turned black.
The veil in the temple had torn.
And now nothing.
The tomb was sealed.
The crowds had gone home.
And the silence must havebeen deafening.
The gospel writers sayvery little about this day.
But we do know the discipleswere hiding in fear.

Holy Saturday reminds usof those seasons in our lives.
When God feels absent,you pray and nothing.
You wait and you wonderif he's listening.
You thought the storywas going one way and suddenly

it fell apart.
But here's the thing.
Just because God is silentdoesn't mean he's absent.
Even in death.
Even in the tomb.
God was working.
Jesus body may have been still,but God's redemptive
plan was moving forward.

As 1 Peter
3 (01:56):
18-19 suggests, Christ was proclaiming victory
even in the unseen realms.
Look, we all haveHoly Saturday moments.
Times when the pain is realand the outcome is uncertain.
Maybe you've maybe you'rebetween a diagnosis

and a healing.
Maybe you're betweena prayer and an answer.
Maybe you're betweena heartbreak and restoration.
Holy Sundayteaches us to hold on
even when we can't seewhat God is doing.
Because Sunday's comingresurrection is real.

So if you're stuckin the waiting, don't give up.
Jesus knows whatit's like to be there,
but he also knowshow the story ends.
And that leads us to tomorrow.
The greatest day in history.
Resurrection Sunday.
Father, to anyonewalking through
the silence right nowthrough uncertainty,

grief or doubt.
Remind them that you arestill working in their lives,
even when we don't see it.
Even when we don't feel it.
Give us hope in the waiting.
Just like you did onthat quiet Saturday.
Knowing Sunday is on the way.
