Guest Elisabeth Paquette identifies limits to universality from Badiou’s Marxist legacy and suggests Afro-Caribbean approaches to emancipation through difference. Paquette is a professor of Women’s and Gender Studies and Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
