Thank you for being here to join me in this conversation! I am extremely delighted to share this episode with my guest, beautiful friend, and colleague, Angela Doss, who many might know by her instagram handle @attuningforks . Over the last few years, Angela’s social media presence has been a poetic and profound expression of truth, bravery, compassion, and inquiry. With very few psychology professionals speaking publicly regarding anything that might not match the mainstream narrative, Angela’s perspective both as a psychotherapist and a local based in the Los Angeles area of California has been a source of inspiration to myself and so many others. Her writings and musings are a valuable contribution to the medical and health freedom space.
I have felt and found multifaceted resonance with Angela as she is the Founder of Counselors for Freedom and mutually feels a calling aligned with mine. It has taken us about one year to allow the form to begin to take shape, but the timing is coalescing now for us to partner in efforts both for bridging and building the parallel path forward in service of the Counseling, Coaching, and Well-being fields. It was an honor to hear a bit more about her transformational story of a near death experience and simultaneous diagnosis with Type 1 Diabetes, along with an experience up on the mountaintop in the later part of 2020 when she chose the “courageous road less traveled”. Angela has a warmth, kindness, presence, and perspective that I hope will permeate the field of psychology.
