Speaker 1 (00:05):
Welcome to the Burnin' Bash Podcast Tag Team
Talk.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
I'm Ben.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
I'm Bash.
I'm gonna lace up your bootsand hit the mat with the Burnin'
Bash Podcast Tag Team Talk.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Alright, here we are for another one.
We are going to be doing whatare we doing?
Nxt Battleground.
We got a lot of wrestlingcoming on this weekend.
I forgot what we're doing today, yeah, Because we're also going
to be doing AEW, WWE andnothing after this.
So I kind of forgot what we'redoing right now.
But, yeah, we're going to bedoing NXT Battleground.

(00:33):
So, yeah, you know, as always, predictions, what we think is
going to happen, what we thinkis going to happen afterwards,
storylines, all that kind ofstuff.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
So what things that happen afterwards, storylines,
all that kind of stuff.
Well, yeah, let's get to it.
Okay, for the first match onthe card, it's Hagen Tank and
Josh Briggs versus the Culling.
So for this one I'm not reallysure, because I don't know,
because I was trying to plan outall my stuff, because a lot of
these I just don't expect who towin.

(01:05):
So I was trying to plan thisout, but then I thought about it
for a second.
I don't know, but I probablyhave the Cullen, because they've
been on kind of a slump sinceSean Spears lost to Ricky Saints
.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Yeah, I can see that.
So who do you got winning the?

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Cullen, you got the.
You got winning the.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Coler, you got the Coler winning Yep Just straight
up.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Wait a minute actually, no, no, I'm picking
Hank and Tink and Josh Briggs.
I forgot they're the NXTchampions.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
But the belts not on the line though, I know.
So I mean the belts not on theline.
So you don't have to.
Actually, I mean they don'thave to lose.
They're not going to lose theirbelts if they lose.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Yeah, I'm going to just go with Hink and Tink and
Josh Briggs.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
I got you, so here's my thing I'm going with the
colon because Josh Briggs isgoing to turn heel.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
You think?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
so yes, absolutely, they've been hitting at it for a
while.
I'm not having.
He's a better heel anyways.
He hasn't been able to do heelmuch in NXT, but independent
scene he's a way better heel.
He's a good heel.
He's one of the because he's abig guy.
Usually guys like that arebetter heels anyways.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Baron.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Corbin, those kind of guys are better heels anyways,
and they are faces.
He's trying to be a face andyou see, his friends are always
leaving him, so that's a goodway to turn him heel, not
because he wants to turn heel, but because his friends all
leave him.
So why do I need friends now?
I'm going to do everythingmyself, so I don't need any

(02:42):
friends.
You see what I'm saying.
So I think he's gonna turn onhank and tank and it cost them
the uh, it cost them the matchand that way the colon wins.
Like it's not gonna be fair, but that's what.
That's what I'm going with.
I'm going with the colon winsbecause, because Josh Briggs
turns on him, Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Yep, mm-hmm, yeah, I could.
You could tell over a couple ofweeks that he might turn heel.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.
They're going to pull this onthe battleground because it's a
premium live event too.
I mean, usually good thingshappen on NXT.
Nxt usually have good premiumlive events anyways.
So I'm expecting something tohappen on either this match or
one of the other matches.
Something's going to happen, soI'm expecting at least this
one's going to probably have agood turning point on this one.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Yeah, but for the second match on the card and my
personal favorite match that'sgoing to happen tonight tomorrow
, tony D'Angelo versus.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Stacks.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Oh yeah, wait, you do NXT Battleground.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
No, no, sorry, yes, tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Tony D'Angelo versus Stacks For this one.
Stacks just turned heel at thelast favorite.
What was the lastfavorite-per-view?

Speaker 2 (04:06):
That was the standard liver, wasn't it?
No For NXT.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
No Wait, I like this.
Oh yeah, it was.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
For NXT it was standard liver.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Yeah, because they don't have as many as the main
roster.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Yeah, but I think that Stax wins, because I think
Stacks wins because he justturned heel.
I don't think he should losethat quickly, you know.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Yeah, that's what he got, that's it.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
I wouldn't predict, like Luca Crucifino, to turn.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
We haven't seen him in a while.
What happened to him in thatdesert?

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
I mean, we saw what they implied, but that don't
mean that actually happened, because it's been Stacks turned
him.
Yeah, could be torturing himright now, getting him to turn
towards his side.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Yeah, I don't know.
I might say that I don't know.
No, I don't know.
I might say that I don't know?

Speaker 2 (05:05):
No, I don't think that's going to happen.
So who are you going withStacks?
So you're going with Stacks, yep as much as.
I hate to go with it.
I'm going to have to go withStacks as well, just because
Stacks like I said before, stacks needs to win more because
he just turned heel.
You can't turn a guy heel likethis, have a whole storyline

(05:29):
built like this and have himlose his first match against
Tony D'Angelo, because Tony Ddoesn't need this.
I'm sure this is leading toTony D'Angelo going to the main
roster here soon.
I'm sure this is what this is.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Unless he wins the NXTxt title first no, I think
he's gonna he.
You don't think everybody needsto win the nxt title before he
goes to the main roster yeah, everybody doesn't win it, but
some of the people who wentstraight from the north american
title, like dragon lee, likepeople like that, like maybe you
should put like, like, or atleast give them more time, you
know, yeah, before they justpush them up but sometimes

(06:03):
they're that good though they'rethat good, they just don't.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Sometimes the main roster just don't use them the
way, the way they need to beused.
You know, sometimes they don'thave a.
They don't have it's becauseyou gotta think how many
wrestlers on the main roster isso many and you only got between
both shows.
You only got two shows.
Yes, they're for right now.
Smackdown is three.
Then they're going back to twohours sometime this year, not
sure when.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yeah, I'm glad of that, because SmackDown is
supposed to be like an eternity.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Yeah, but that's also going to take away an hour from
the roster.
So right now you got two showsand you got six hours.
You know most of that's goingto be storylines of the main
wrestlers.
Yeah, you know the Charlottes,tiffany's.

(06:49):
When Cody comes back, when hecomes back, seth Rollins, all
those guys, that's going to beBecky Lynch, that's going to be
the main talking people rightthere, and then you have a few
other people who get sprinkledin, who might have a match here
or there.
So it's not much room foreverybody.
I mean so.
So there's not much room foreverybody.
I mean so.
Yeah, there's people on themain roster who should be
wrestling, but where do you putthem at?

(07:10):
Yeah, y'all need a third show.
I mean y'all need a third.
I mean, you used to have MainEvent.
They don't have that.
It don't come on anymore.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
I don't think Main Event doesn't come on anymore.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
I haven't seen it on.
I haven't seen it.
I haven't watched it in a while, but I haven't seen it.
Have you seen it?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
No.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
I haven't seen it.
I don't know if it comes on ornot.
I haven't looked for it, but Idon't think it comes on anymore,
not that I know of.
Anyways, main event was for, like, the people who just don't
get on the shows, for the NXTguys who now are on NXT yeah.
So a lot of people are going toevolve who are on that show.
So I get that.

(07:46):
So WWE needs kind of anothershow kind of like that, where
you can kind of have guys kindof like a main event.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
You know they used to have like a Sunday Night Heat
which was like that it shouldhave just kept me an event, in
my opinion.
Yeah, but like WWE had a showcalled Sunday Night Heat back in
the day.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Oh yeah, I think I.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
And that was kind of like a main event, but it came
on regular TV.
Yeah Well, not regular TV.
It came on USA, but that was ashow that came on and it had
some wrestlers who wasn't knownin the main, who wasn't known
raw SmackDown.
It won't even SmackDown really, yet SmackDown was just getting
started.
So but yeah, but yeah.

(08:26):
So Tony D is probably going togo to the main roster eventually
, so I'm going to have, I'mgoing to go with Stax on this
one Winning this.
Not sure how it's going to go.
I mean, what kind of match it'sgoing to be?
I mean, I would.
I would have thought it would besome kind of stipulation match
yeah, it should but I haven'tseen anything like this, like

(08:48):
it's a regular match the way itseems.
I mean, unless they change it,it looks like it's just a
regular straight up match wherethey should have had some kind
of stipulate crowbar match oryou know something there's no
stipulation on this match.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
There's, like's always, a ladder match.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
That's what I'm saying.
It should have been like acrowbar match or a trump match
or something like that, where itshould have been some kind of
stipulation with this matchupbecause it's so much of a
personal feud.
So I guess you're going to getjust a regular wrestling match
and just see where it goes fromthere.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
So yeah, but for the next match on the card, it's
Sawaruka versus Kehlani Jordanfor the NXT North American
Championship Women's.
For this one I'm sure Sawarukawins because she won the title

(09:42):
pretty recently Not reallyrecently, but pretty recently
for pay-per-views the lastpay-per-view.
So I don't see someone juststripping the belt right off of
her right after she won it atthe last pay-per-view.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Yeah, so you're going for Sol Rooker.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm going for Sol Rookertoo.
I mean, she's one of myfavorites in NXT right now,
anyways.
I like Kalani Jordan too, butSol Rooker's one of my favorites
right now, anyways, but itlooks like.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
If you think the same way.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
It looks like they're kind of setting up a few and
Azaria Soruka.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Yeah, because I'm sure Azaria's not going to want
to take the backseat to Soruka.
For too long she's been trying.
She's been blocking her fromdefending her belt.
Looks like she's been fightingall the challengers, hoping that
, okay, I'm beating all thesepeople, I'm going to get me a
title shot.
Since I'm beating all thechallengers, I'm going to ask

(10:45):
for a title shot, since I'mbeating all the challengers, so
I'm going to ask for a titleshot.
But now Kalani Jordan beat herbecause Soruka got involved
technically and that cost Zarya.
So I wonder if Zarya is goingto not interfere in the match
but going to want to like afterthe match is over with.
That was never intended toright.
No, it wasn't.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
Oh, it wasn't no.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Kalani it was.
The simulation was, if Kalaniwon she would get to face.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Soruka at a battleground.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yeah, but if she lost she didn't, okay.
So that was the stipulation.
But what's do you know?
The next NXT Prim Light event?
Ooh no, I know World's Collideris another one, but that's not
really NXT yeah, it's not reallybut after that is it the one
around SummerSlam Heatwave maybe, I don't know they should do

(11:34):
one around SummerSlam likeSummer Bash or something that
one paper is.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
Bash at the Beach yeah, bash at the Beach.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
I'm not sure what they're going to do, but
whatever the next premium Liveevent is for NXT Sol Ruka, I
would think that Sol Ruka andZarya would fight at that for
the North American Championship.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Just because that's a good rivalry, that's kind of
slow building.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Yeah.
You know, and they couldprobably put on a really good
match too.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Exactly so.
I mean it would be.
I mean, yeah, zara's a good.
She's a good wrestler.
I mean a lot of people don'tknow about her because she spent
a lot of time in Australiabefore she came over to America.
Yeah, so when she watched a lotof independent wrestling on
like YouTube and stuff like that, you didn't really see much of
her.
Yeah, so a lot of people don'tknow much, like they did Julia
and Stephanie and Jordan Gracethey all came over together, but

(12:27):
she was like the fourth onethat people really didn't know
much about unless you werereally into the independent
scene of wrestling.
So, yeah, I got Sol Rukawinning against Klein Jordan.
It should be a pretty goodmatch.
Both of them are pretty goodwrestlers.
You know Both of them got prettygood trainers helping them as
far as that goes.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Yeah, that's right.
Are you going to sleep withthem?

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
Yep, you picked Saul Rooker right.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Mm-hmm Okay.
You picked Saul Rooker too.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
Yep, okay.
And for the next match on thecard is Joe Hendry versus Tripp
Williams for the TNA WorldChampionship.
And for this one, if you'dasked me a couple of days ago, I
probably would have walked inJoe Hendry, no thought.
But I honestly see TrippWilliams winning.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
I don't know, but the problem with that is.
So here's my thing.
I'm going to let you finish, though.
Here's my thing with that.
This is the first time everthat TNA championship, or men's
championship, jordan Grayson didshe defend her belt.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
She did against Roxanne?
Wait, no, did Roxanne.
Yeah, roxanne Perez defendedher belt against Jordan Grayson.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
But Jordan Grayson defended her belt though.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
No, because Roxanne Perez won that match.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
That's what I'm saying.
So this is the first time anon-WWE belt that I can remember
is being defended on NXT or WWETV in general.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Because they always defend NXT titles.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Exactly so.
Trick Williams winning the TNAchampionship gives the TNA belt,
which is still a separatecompany.
Tna isn't part of WWE, they'restill their own company.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
They just put rumors to WWE, yeah, but they haven't
though what I'm saying is rightnow TNA is still a separate
company.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
It's not like AAA or WWE bought AAA wrestling.
They own AAA wrestling.
Those wrestlers can come to WWEand vice versa.
Were Triple A were going to bebought, triple A wrestling like
they own Triple A wrestling, sothose wrestlers can come to the
WWE and vice versa.
But here's the thing like, ifTrick Williams was to win, would
TNA like having a non-TNAwrestler as their world champion

(14:43):
?
I mean, it brings a lot of eyesand all that, but is that fair
to a TNA men's locker room?
See what I'm saying.
Yeah, I don't know.
Let me go ahead.
I'm going to still think aboutthat and let you finish your
answer real quick.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
Damn.
What do I got to answer first?

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Because you already started.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
I always started.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
I was just piggybacking off what you said
about Trick Williams.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Yeah, but yeah, I don't know, I really don't
Because I would, because, like, because I want to try to win,
but I also want to just throwout something that I might be
right.
So I'm going to say TrickWilliams.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
You're going to say Trick Williams wins, yep.
Yeah, I mean, as much as I wantto see that, because that would
change the industry Be thefirst time a nun.
I mean I can't remember a timewhere somebody from a different
company won a belt in anothercompany and they wasn't part of
that company.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
You know what I?

Speaker 2 (15:48):
mean Because I know, like Stephanie Viqueur, she
wrestled against Mercedes MonetLost her belt, but it wasn't AEW
belt, it was like a New Japanbelt, I believe.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Yeah, wait, stephanie Buckeye.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
Yeah, she rescued before she came to WWE.
Oh, because she lost the beltbecause she was coming to WWE so
she had to lose all the belts.
So she lost.
She had a bunch of belts.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
She had like four belts Three or four belts, yeah
and she lost all of them, butanyway.
So I can't remember a time likethat happening.
So this would be history as faras I can remember.
I mean, I look up and see if ithappened any in the past, but I
can't remember a time where anun a nun wrestler from another
company won a belt in anothercompany, like that.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
Like WCW.
I can't remember somebody elseoutside WCW winning a WCW belt
that wasn't in WCW.
Bret Hart, he was in WCW.
A WCW belt that wasn't in WCW.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
Bret Hart.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
He was in WCW.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Oh, he was.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
He was signed to WCW.
I'm saying somebody that signedto that company.
I mean, David Arquette won, buthe was signed to WCW.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
So I can't remember a time where, like, a non WCW
wrestler won WCW title, or anon-WCW wrestler one WWE title,
or TNA or NWA or AEW or any ofthose types I can't remember.
Or New Japan.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Yeah, because.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Or any other independent scene.
I can't remember a time whenany of that happened.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Yeah, I thought it happened, but then I thought
about it when you just said it.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Like it might have happened in independent
wrestling.
But independent wrestlers lookdifferent because a lot of those
are not they're not contractedwrestlers a lot of times yeah,
and some of them just worktogether a lot anyway exactly so
.
They're not really contractedwrestlers so you can't really
say they work for that company.
A lot of times they come inwhen they need them and you know
but yeah, but uh, but yeah, soI'm not sure.

(17:36):
So you got trick, you got trickWilliams.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
You have Joe Hendricks.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
As much as I want to see trick Williams win, I just
don't see I'll be.
I will be pleasantly surprisedif trick Williams wins, but just
from history wise, I don'tthink the wrestling guys they
say, well, let this happen, soI'm gonna go with Joe Hendry

(18:06):
winning and retaining his belt.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Can I just say one thing if Joe Hendry were to lose
, I think this is the time yeah, but then where does Trick
Williams go?

Speaker 2 (18:21):
He's going to be on TNA Wrestling more.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Yeah.
I mean he has been on TNA.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Yeah, but people talk about him going to the main
roster.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
So now he can't go to the main roster.
Now if he's on TNA Wrestling, Imean he can, but that's a lot
of back and forth.
If you're going to the mainroster, you're going to TNA,
you're going to in it, that's aI mean he can do it, but that's
a lot.
So I mean, do I?
I mean, do I want him to win it?

(18:51):
Sure, be nice little surprise, nice little change of pace for
everybody in wrestling.
It'll let everybody know thatanybody can win a belt.
It doesn't matter if you sign ornot, but that'll hold Trick
back from going to the mainroster though as well.
Yeah, he'll win a worldchampionship, but main roster

(19:13):
spot.
I know people have been talkingabout him going to the main
roster for months now, after helost the NNT championship the
first time, or last time, rather, he'd be able been talking
about him going to the mainroster for months now, after he
lost the NNT Championship thefirst time, or last time, rather
, he'd be able to talk about himgoing to the main roster,
especially because he hadn't wonit recently.
Yeah, so but yeah, I'm goingwith Joe Hendry to retain his

(19:34):
belt.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
Mm-hmm, but so that's what you're going to say.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Yeah, and maybe, maybe, how about this?
Maybe some tna wrestlers maycome out to hit make sure trick
williams don't win, because theyunderstand that if trick
williams wins, they mean, he maynot be on tna wrestler.
He don't have to be on tnawrestling unless he has to be.
So maybe some tna wrestlerscome out to save joe hendry,
because they don't want him tolose.
They may not like him, but theyHendry, because they don't want

(20:02):
him to lose.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
They may not like him , but they don't want Trick
Williams to have it either, andalso I'm saying it's not really
like a prediction, but I thinkTrick Williams is going to go
into a more heel-less side inthis match.
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, considering hekind of is the heel in this view
.
Yep, but yeah, that's whatyou're going to say.
Yeah, that's it All right, forthe next match on the card is

(20:23):
Stephanie Valcaire versus JordanGrace for the NXT Women's
Championship.
So using the same logic Wait, never mind, jordan Grace is NXT.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
She's NXT now four times.
She's not in 10A anymore.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
Shoot.
I can't use that logic anymore.
So I might actually say Dre andGrace, but just to have a
better chance at being right,I'm going to say Stephanie
Valcarra-Taylor.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
You're going going.
Stephanie, Yep man, this is atough one because I like both of
them.
I mean Stephanie's probably myfavorite too, Uh-huh.
I mean she's probably myfavorite NXT right now, and then
probably Stephanie, then SoulRuka, then Jada Parker is
probably my top three.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Yeah, Jada Parker is probably my favorite person from
NXT.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Yeah, like she's came a long way since she first
started.
But Stephanie Vicaria, Iwatched her.
I watched a few AAA, AAAwrestling events when she was in
and I've been liking her sincethen.
And then she came to AEW andthen she was there for a little
while, and then she was therefor a little while and now she's
in NXT right now.
Yeah, so I'm a fan.
I've been a fan for a while.

(21:40):
But this is a tough matchbecause it's Jordan Grace the
Juggernaut.
She is not a slouch one bit.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
No.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
So the problem is can Stephanie stop Jordan Grace
from doing her moves on her?
Because if she can't, she can'tbeat Jordan Grace.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
You don't think so.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
No, she can't stop her from doing her moves.
If Jordan Grace gets her movesin, it's a wrap.
There's not many women inwrestling period who can beat
Jordan Grace if she gets all hermoves in.
You see what I'm saying?
So you have to stop her fromgetting all her moves in.
So Steph is going to slow herdown, Kind of like you would a

(22:31):
bigger.
Kind of like you would.
Kind of like you would if youwere a fake.
Oh, excuse me.
Kind of how you would if you'rea fake.
Oh, excuse me.
Kind of kind of how you wouldif you're facing a bigger
wrestler and um in wwe.
You know you don't want them toget their hands on you.
You want to slow them down.
You know you slow theirmomentum down and then you make
it beat them yeah you know, kindof like a raven zero beat the

(22:53):
big show.
you know, like when you fightbrock lesnar, when you fight
different big guys, you know youdon't, you don't want them to
grab you, you want to kind ofstay away from them yeah.
You know you don't want them toget all their moves in.
If they get all their moves in,you're done.
You're going to lose.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
Like when Brock Lesnar's wrestling, or you know,
big E or Mark Henry Big ShowPaul White, whatever you want to
call him.
You know Biggie, or Mark HenryBig Show Paul White, whatever
you want to call them.
Jordan Grace, she's not a bigwrestler, but she's a strong
wrestler and she falls in thatkind of category.
She's probably one of thestrongest women.
I mean, she power lives, shedid bodybuilding, so that's why

(23:33):
she's called a juggernaut for areason.
I mean she can get thatnickname for no reason, you know
.
I mean she's not that, shedidn't get the nickname for no
reason, you know.
Mm-hmm, I mean.
So If Stephanie can keep herfrom getting her moves in, she's
going to win.
So, and Stephanie being aveteran too, I think here's the

(23:54):
thing this is a tough one, because Jordan Grace could
easily win this match.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
But she's already lost.
Who do you go?
With Stephanie see, that's theproblem.
I don't want to.
I don't want to pick againstStephanie because she's my
favorite wrestler, right now.
I don't want to pick against her, but I just I just got a
feeling Jordan Grace may winthis.
Now you know I'm going to stickwith my wrestler.

(24:27):
I'm going to go with Stephanie, for care, because she's a
veteran.
She's going to pull some movesout.
She's a luchadora, she's a highflyer.
Usually high flyers can do goodagainst bigger wrestlers.
Keep them off their feet, yep,you know, keep them grounded.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
So I'm going to go with Stephanie Fiqueira for the
win, to retain her belt.
That's what you're going to sayfor that yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
But, I wonder, I wonder, I wonder.
Here's the thing, though realquick off topic, not off topic,
but Worlds Collide is next month, right?

Speaker 1 (25:00):
It's two weeks.
Two weeks from now, right, it'swhen Money in the Bank is right
.
Yeah, it's June 7th, I'm prettysure.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
June 7th, that's two weeks from now.
Mm-hmm Jones said that's twoweeks from now.
I wonder if they're going tostart incorporating AAA
wrestlers, because this would bethe perfect event to do it in.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
Yeah, wait this one, or Worlds Collide this one.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
No, no, no, I'm saying this would be the perfect
time to start the feud, forWorlds Collide.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
So you think someone comes out?

Speaker 2 (25:28):
This is where I think somebody might come out, and
maybe not interfering in thematch, but the post-match.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
Yeah, there has been a lot of post-match.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
Because you got to think too.
Stephen McHarris used towrestle in AAA.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
So she has a lot of enemies in AAA wrestling and she
used to wrestle and she beatFor belts, so I, so I'm sure
they want their get back on her,and now she's a world champion
or NXT champion.
What better thing to do nowthan to beat her and wrestle her
for a bill?
And Stephanie Kerr she's goingto be part of Wars Collide.

(26:01):
I mean, everybody that wasbehind Triple H is going to be
part of Wars Collide, outside of, maybe, rey Mysterio, because
he's hurt, yeah, which sucks, because he's probably the most
famous luchador in the entireworld in history, probably.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
Yeah, and he probably would have gone for like a big
title, like that.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
Nah, he would have just been like one of the main
events.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
But I mean, I mean, ray Mysterio is probably the
most famous, most well-knownwrestler luchador in history.
Even if you don't knowwrestling, you know the name Ray
Mysterio.
That's just one of those namesthat people just know.
You know, like the Rock StoneCold.
You don't even got to be awrestling fan to know those

(26:46):
names.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
Yeah, a lot of my friends that don't even watch
wrestling can just name RayMysterio Exactly.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
So hopefully he's back by then, but the way that
injury looked it doesn't lookgood that he's going back.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
Oh yeah, that was good.
He may not even be back thisyear.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
The way it looks, Maybe he may come out and show
up and make an appearance.
It sucks that he's not going tobe there.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Yeah, the injury looked gnarly.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Yeah, especially when he was on the ground for the
whole entire match.
Didn't even try to get up.
When they don't get up, that'show you know it's bad.
When they don't even get up offthe ground, don't even try to
walk back to the back oranything.
Yeah, but anyways.
So yeah, stephanie Viqueira, Ithink she's going to retain
Somebody's going to come matchattacker and it's gonna start a
few for world's collide, becausethey gotta start that up,

(27:30):
because why not?
yeah and then main rosters gotcalled santos and all them.
They just, they just announcedthey're arresting somebody I'll
be surprised if somebody came onnext smackdown and did that
because I mean pagano we'regetting off topic a little bit,
but pagano, he's like the, theking of hardcore in uh mexico
yeah then psycho clown, he's agood wrestler, yeah.

(27:52):
And then uh, dr wagner him andhim and uh santos already has a
feud already spanning back years, so that should be good.
They should already be goodright there, just their history
alone, yeah.
But anyways, I digress, oh yeahgo ahead.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
Yeah, that's what you're going to say for that.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
Yep, that's it.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
All right, and for the main event, it's Oba Femi
versus Miles Bourne for the NXTChampionship.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Little Randy Orton.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
Yep, but so like I mean, I don't mean to doubt
Miles Bourne, but like it's ObaFemme, so like wait, is Oba
Femme already beat the longestNXT ring?

Speaker 2 (28:41):
I don't know who had it.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
I don't know.
It feels like it would be likeAdam Cole or Finn Balor.
It's Finn Balor.
Right, was it Finn?

Speaker 2 (28:50):
Balor, it's Finn Balor right.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Was it.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
Finn Balor yeah Cadeo .

Speaker 1 (28:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Cadeo maybe Finn Balor maybe.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Yeah, I can't remember.
Either way, I think Oba Femi'spretty close, so I think he's
going to go for that.
So I don't see him losing toMiles Bourne, especially Miles
Bourne.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
Plus, you gotta remember what happened on NXT,
when I can't think of the guy'sname, the one who just won LFW.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
LFW.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (29:18):
Oh yeah, that guy.
I've seen him before, but Iforgot his name I can't think of
his name right now.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
I was looking at the highlight of it too, yeah he's
probably going to wrestleObaafemi.
Yeah, or he's gonna come outand do something else in the
match.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
Oh, yeah, definitely.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
So wait, wait.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
I think he comes out post-match though.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Maybe post-match.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Cause he has to wrestle Obafemi.
He's about the size of Obafemi, anyways.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
Yup and Obafemi not gonna let that slot.
If you attacked him and himlaying on the ground like that,
he was just flat.
Yeah, not at all.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
And especially because he was really good on
LFG.
If you watch LFG Exactly.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
He was really good, exactly, but yeah, so who you
got for the win?

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Oh, I have Obafemi, obafemi Hands down, yeah.
No comments toward Miles Bourneor anything well, yeah, he's
been getting a lot better, but,um, it's not going to be a
squash match.
He's going to get a bunch ofoffense in.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
It's not going to be a squash match at all.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
No chances of a squash match yeah, they wouldn't
do Miles Bourne like that butMiles Bourne, a great technical
wrestler, I mean technicallyMiles Bourne could win this.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
No, but Miles Bourne, a great technical wrestler, I
mean technically Miles Bournecould win this match.
Hmm, I mean, we've seen crazierthings happen, especially in
NXT.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
Name something.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
Kevin Owens beating Sami Zayn in his first match.

Speaker 1 (30:42):
Yeah, that's fair.
I didn't know you were going tothat day.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Finn Balor debuting.
You were doing Black and White.
You ask me?
I'm just saying Tommaso Ciampaattacking Johnny Gargano after
the credits roll.
I mean, we've seen, don'tforget, you got Dark State.
They're going to be there.
Are they with somebody else orare they with theirself?

(31:08):
I mean, we've seen crazierthings happen in NXT before.
We got TNA wrestlers in NXTwrestling.
It wouldn't be a surprise.
It wouldn't be a surprise.
I wouldn't be surprised ifMiles Bourne beat Ova Femi,

(31:29):
especially the way they've beenhyping him up.
You know and it looks like he'sgonna go on a solo run for a
minute yeah, I mean especiallywith, uh, charlie dempsey, kind
of being jealous of him wantinghis role and all that yeah but,
like I said, uh, I don't see himwinning, but I wouldn't be
surprised if he did win.

(31:50):
I'm going to go over Femi.
I like over Femi.
Yeah, he's one of my favorites.
He's one of my favorite guysWrestles at NXT as well.
So, yeah, I'm going to go overFemi winning.
Retaining I just can't seeMiles Bourne right now beating
over Femi.
He may be a future worldchampion, but not a champion

(32:11):
right now beating over him.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
He may be a future world champion, but not a
champion right now.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Not right now Because he wrestles so much like Randy
Orton.
I mean he does almosteverything similar to Randy
Orton outside of the RKO.
I mean he does a lot of moves, the way he walks, the way his
wrestling style.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
I mean drop kicks.
He does drop kicks, just likethat.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
That's what I'm saying it looks so similar to
Randy Orton, I wonder if he'sdoing it on purpose or it's just
the way, just naturally how heis, you know.
So I just wonder if it's justnaturally how he is or if he
actually watched Randy Orton tobecome more like Randy Orton,
kind of like Kobe did withJordan.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
If it's naturally.
That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
That's what I'm saying.
Kobe watched so much Jordanfilm that he actually started
playing like Michael Jordan.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
I wonder if it's kind of like that where Miles Bourne
watched so much Randy Ortonthat he just started wrestling
like Randy Orton, or was it justnaturally?
That's just how he justnaturally wrestles, I wonder you
know.
But however it is, he wrestlessimilar to Randy Orton.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
You know, same walk, same demeanor.
You know, I want to see theminteract with each other at
least once.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
You know, on the main roster, or if Randy Orton comes
back down to NXT like he didwhen he wrestled.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
Javon.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
Evans.
But, like I said, he will be afuture world champion, just not
a champion right now.
Just don't see it so but yeah,he's gonna be a world champion
eventually, but just not rightnow.
So I'm gonna go with Obafemi toretain.
Maybe something happenspost-match.
I'm going to expect somethingto happen post-match.

(33:55):
If nothing does happen, I'll bekind of disappointed and it's
the main event, well, probablythe main event.
No, it will be the main event.
When's it going to be the mainevent?

Speaker 1 (34:03):
Trick versus Joe.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
No On the NFC show.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
No.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
Unless the NF NXT championship wasn't defended.
That's no way that's going toheadline over an NXT
championship match.
I guess, no way, near no way,but yeah.
So I got Oprah Femme winningthat.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
Anything else you got for her.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
Nope, that's it.
Uh, yep.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
Alright, alright.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
Anything you want to Uh.

Speaker 2 (34:29):
yep, All right.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
All right, anyone else?
Uh, hold on, hold on.
Let me thoroughize this matchreal quick.
You think Charlie Dempsey orany of them get involved?

Speaker 2 (34:39):
They may.
Um, I think, okay, here's thething.
I think what's going to happenwith that is.
This is my thing.
I think they're going to try tocome out with him.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
Mm-hmm, he's going to send him back, he's going to
tell him to go back to the back.
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
Because he wants to do it on his own, mm-hmm, which
is what the whole no quartercatch crew is for.
Anyways, it's supposed to belike that.
I think Charlie Dempsey's kindof got to take that disrespect
like he don't want me out there,he's too good for me, which may
end up breaking them up or getor, like you said before,
getting miles born on a solarrun get him to the group.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
But don't know how that's going to work, but yeah
that's it.
Yeah, anything else Nope.
All right.
So, that being said, I'm Ben.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
I'm Beth.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
And the episode of Tag.
