(00:00):
I don't even know how many guests we've had at this point,
somewhere between 150 and 200. When I say give me the most
extraordinary who is there a guest that jumps to mine?
It's impossible to put a pin, but when you say it, I'm
thinking Paul Watkins I. Was just gonna say Watkins.
Yeah, John Bertrand man. Sam Gash.
Yeah, talking about extraordinary story Flash.
Are you kidding me? Yeah, I know.
(00:21):
And you did a ride in the ring as well.
That was awesome, one. And oh, you said it.
When do we go to two or not? Ha ha ha ha.
They, I don't know how many tickets they've sold.
Somewhere between 5:00 and 10:00, 1000 people are gonna be
there live and I'm gonna be fighting someone.
I have no idea who they that I'dfight.
You know what I'm like? I said to the boys that I'd do
it, which means I'll do it so. We've got some amazing episodes
coming up and we've got young hip hop artists blowing up
(00:43):
everything and the Internet included.
And we've got an Australian Olympic netballer, man.

Welcome back to Australia's number one podcast.
We're back today. Exciting episode, Benny and I.
It's an internal episode, so we're covering current topics.
We've got our amazing new segment, Fishy Reviews.
(01:46):
Powers fishy reviews. Powers Fishy reviews.
Sorry, Power. So that's a cool app where we're
going and looking at successful businesses.
Places or we're going to hang out some Karens, I think.
Like your business, Benny, a successful business that yeah,
we hang out the Karens that predominantly successful, but
Karens are still floating around.
Someone's got a problem with it.Yeah, yeah.
Someone's got a problem, which they are the minority, fair to
(02:09):
say, inside the reviews. So that's a cool episode.
Stick around for that later. But now we want to get in.
This is going to be an episode circle once a month, Benny, four
to five weeks, whatever it is, But we'll be catching up.
We'll be talking about some previous guests.
What about last week, dude? Yeah, man, a triad or sorry, his
friend that he was talking about, he's a triad.
(02:30):
Like he's that how did we like how are we doing this dude, man,
I'm just man, I know. And we're sitting on a rooftop
talking to a legitimate or his mate triad gangster talking
about how he like that just is. It blows my mind.
I have to pinch myself. Nah, that was crazy.
And now he's yeah, as everyone saw.
(02:52):
And if you didn't say circle back a week ago and see how he's
now, he's entirely man. He's crazy ass fighter but he's
doing it professionally. He's doing a profession he's
got, not just. Doing it in the.
Yeah, man, 100% he's getting paid.
He's getting paid to do what he,I suppose he did for fun when he
was younger. Yeah, or for for for money.
But. Legitimised himself.
He's also got a fight coming up.So yeah, if you if you're
(03:13):
following last week's episode, Ithink he's two weeks out from a
fight or something in fight camp.
So check out Flash Daddy's next fight, I reckon.
How's. His energy though?
Dude, do you remember when he walked in?
Yeah, yeah, he remember when. He jumped in at the start yeah
said hey, down the lens flash daddy here, no 100%.
So go check it out if you didn'tsee it now Benny back all the
episodes earlier we covered a lot off on your fight and
(03:34):
Thailand and all that amazing content.
Shout out to the crew again thatwas over there like I wasn't
sure what it was going to be like you're doing a live like
live means shit can go wrong. That's that's that's what live
means to me and we all did it onthe run and and the content was
awesome. So it was.
It was, it was. In a foreign country, our plugs
didn't plug into anything. You know what I mean?
And you know, I shouldn't say I made it sound like I had
(03:56):
something to do with it, but yeah, the guys didn't.
No, I'm saying that you'd like you'd been over there for a bit
beforehand, so you were like, hey, scoping it, we're doing it
scaffold there. There's a camera there.
So that one that zooms in on thefire.
Anyway, like it come together really good and the content was
crazy watchable. Talk about getting something
done with our hands tied behind our back.
So that was yeah, that was amazing.
(04:17):
But yeah, your fight one and oh,I don't know, baby.
So like, so what's going on? Like everyone's seen it like 1
and I I keep hearing you mumble and two and I'm under your
breath. So like, what does that look
like? Is there another fight?
Well, I'm, I'm currently as it stands right now, I'm officially
like a backup for the Podcast Royale or Podcast Royale 2.0,
(04:37):
which is, you know, the alpha blokes alpha events.
Yeah, yeah. So that's up in Brisbane.
Yeah. If someone my weight falls out
then then I will sub in PK. And I know when I say that, man,
it's a bit weird saying that because yeah, like I haven't got
to fight until I do and it's notlost.
But it happens correct as you. Know I know better than anyone,
(04:58):
right? People sub out all the time.
So yeah, I guess it's a bit of ahead, head doer in the sense
that right now I'm technically not fighting, but I've got to
live the life. I guess I'll try and convince
myself that I am and push myselfso.
In a way that I'm are we fit andready?
I'm trying to stay fit and ready.
Yeah, yeah, because it, I'd imagine it'd be hard like,
because when you actually got your fight locked.
(05:19):
In Well, I'm the unluckiest person in the world, so I know
I'm getting the call of the day.So you're.
Fine. I mean like.
If I don't do the work, yeah, IfI don't do the work, I'm getting
the call of the day before. If I do the work, I'm probably
not going to get the call, yeah.So I'm just going to do the work
and see what happens. I.
Don't know Alpha blokes, get it,Get amongst.
Let's go, boys, We'll be up there.
The live event, we'll bring the crew up there.
Absolutely. We've already got one under our
(05:40):
belt. The live crew will want to know
as well. Let's be honest.
I've I've seen, I've seen if I've been like obviously scoping
a few of the fighters out to tryand figure out have you?
Seen any? Yeah.
They look like they could throw. All of them look like they can
throw dude. Looks like they found dudes that
potentially aren't their first fights.
Do you know what I mean? So let's see what happens.
(06:01):
So. In like, So what you've seen
like the Thailand card versus all the cat like saying that
there was a vast range of sort of I guess competencies in
Thailand. Absolutely.
Yeah. One guy, man, Jord, the guy and
runners. Oh yeah, what about to do the
the last fight like they were think they were banging the last
guys? Yeah, man, look, yeah.
(06:22):
Anyway, that was crazy. Go to the.
Go to the. Live and see it no. 36 my dear.
That's Benny Dollar 36. But yeah, what's the deal?
Like are you saying is is there people at your?
Yeah, no, no, your level. So they do look a bit heavier,
sets a lot of the guys on the card.
From a white from a. White from a white from a white
division. So when I first spoke to the
(06:43):
guys, yeah, they couldn't get they they had 290K fighters that
they put together. I'm seven, I'm down at 70.
So they put those guys together, but they haven't, they haven't
actually put up what the weightsare for each of the fights.
So you can really just look at the pictures or scope and
Instagram, you know, do a bit ofa stalk and get a try and have a
(07:03):
bit of a gauge on what these guys weigh.
Yeah, it doesn't look like there's a heap of fights around
my weight. Maybe only maybe 2.
Does that mean that like they might, you know, put a bit of
weight on you when it when they're weighing you in?
You know, yeah, well, no, I think.
Do they play around with that? A.
Little bit, no. In Thailand they do, Yeah, yeah.
In Thailand, they just make the weights up, you know what I
(07:24):
mean? Like, so when they told me Cray,
who I was fighting, was like, what, 8 kilos heavier?
Yeah, That wasn't true. Yeah, it was a yeah, it was a
Thailand 8 kilos, but yeah, yeah.
So no, no, these boys are doing it properly.
It's a proper card. Proper.
Yeah, it's it's, yeah, these guys are.
So you genuinely just may not get someone.
Genuinely might not get someone my, my weight, but I, I look,
(07:47):
I'm torn, you know, like I'd love to fight if there was a
fight, but at the same time I'd love the opportunity to because
they've told me that I could fight.
I'll definitely fight on the next one.
They'll get me a fight. So I'd love the opportunity.
And with that time, they can actually pair you up.
They pair me up with someone, I know who I'm fighting, and then,
you know, I go into this experience, which I haven't had
before, of knowing who I'm fighting and going into a camp,
(08:08):
you know, based on that. Yeah, that'd be pretty cool.
That'd be something a bit of a different.
But man, to be honest, I want to.
Yeah. One way or another, PK, we're
going to two or no, we're not. Yeah.
I'm not going to retire at one. I know that doesn't make zero
sense. That's crazy.
All right, well, alpha blokes cut this up, Bonnie and put it
in their DMS. Let's go.
No, no, no, no. The boys, yeah, they're, they're
legends men. I've seen them hitting the bags
(08:29):
as well, like they're both fighting.
The boys are fighting. I've seen some footage of them
and I just keep replaying it back going, just trying to suss
out their level, you know what Imean?
And yeah, the man, they're throwing straight punches and,
yeah, moving. And yeah, it does look like
these the boys can fight. So yeah.
Which is, yeah. Which is not.
I guess is what you're looking for.
(08:51):
Speaking of Speaking of the Fight Night, tell you what,
there was a bit of your Valley Wolves crew in the comments.
Oh, no doubt. Shout out Nico and Paddow.
Yeah, they're in there. Paddow was having a White
Russian. Yeah, because we were surrounded
by Russian, a Russian ring girl,as it would have it.
How so? There was lots of Russian
influence over in Thailand, So he was having a White Russian.
(09:14):
Paddocks that out. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, you know what? So where are the valley wolves
at? Where are the boys at?
Where? Are these, how are these how it
happened to his game? So because of the fight, I
missed the grand final again. So we made the grand final,
Yeah. Of course.
That's what you do. We made the grand final.
I left because then we had a week off and then we played in
the grand final, so I got to play in the game that put us
into the granny, if that makes sense, And then I had to leave
(09:37):
for camp over in Thailand and they smashed it, man.
They did it again, the boys. So that's twice now.
So we've played four grand finals, 2 of which I've been
away for, two of which we won, and then we had two grand finals
where I was there and we lost. Oh sucks common down on that.
(09:59):
So you guys have gone up a level.
So, yeah, we have, yeah. So that was B grade last, the
grand final. We just won and they smashed at
the boys and then we've been putup to A grade.
Yeah, we are three games in and we're two and one.
We actually played last week. We played the the the winners of
A grade last year. So what were the reigning
(10:20):
champions and what were the reigning champions of B grade?
Look, we lost by 10 points, OK, We lost by 10 points.
We're missing Steve O He was over in Italy.
One of our Yeah, Steve O, he's prolific.
He could say, you know what I mean?
CJ was out as well. So it wasn't our full team.
That's all right. But yeah, like we're we're
coming. The boys that mean peptides are
a thing. Peak.
I don't know. What's going on here?
(10:43):
They're a thing, dude, for us all guys are.
You saying everyone's? Into the peptides optimal.
Is that a layout opt? Yeah, it's completely, Yeah,
it's completely safe and legal, man, is that, you know what?
Good. Question I think why to have a
differing? No, no, no, because I think the
assumption is that peptides are associated with with steroids,
but they're not. They're completely, they're not,
not the same at all. I'm not a doctor by any stretch,
(11:04):
but steroids I understand is like anabolic.
It's something that you're adding into your system, like
synth, something you know extra where.
Performance enhancing. Yeah, whereas, well, this can
still these are performance wellthese can well they can enhance
your performance, but they're not enhancing your performance
by adding something on top of your already got.
(11:24):
What it's doing is, is they put the peptides, they trigger your
already natural hormones to to rejuvenate or whatever, you know
what I mean? Yeah.
I saw a bit of this Nikki Bell, your mate.
I make your bods mate. Yeah, yeah, he talk about being
an optimised human. Wow, He wants to he's going to
live forever this guy. So yeah, but he's I've seen a
couple of potties. He's got like ex experts in and
(11:46):
we should. Get one in.
We should get one in because like I, I, I only know as much
because I, I, you know, I've been experimenting.
But yeah, look, go back to the valley.
Was very responsible. Where, where, where the where,
the where I guess the the most elite, fittest optimized,
optimized local basketball crew getting around.
(12:07):
I would say we're all out there. Is it obvious?
Are you guys getting around? Like, well, I think we
overachieved, right? We, we, we competed with those
guys last week. We, we could definitely beat
them. And they're A grade #1 and it's
probably, you know, we fall off on the skill as it gets a bit,
you know, as we go deeper into our team.
Whereas in a lot of A grade, youcan imagine you bat pretty deep.
(12:28):
But you might have X. Yeah, but we all players.
We do. We definitely still teeter off
on the other end of our on the other end, me being on that
other end for sure. But what, what we what we make
up in for sure is like effort, endeavour and we wanna win
there. Yeah, we're not there to fuck
the, the, the boys, the Valley Wolves.
Yeah, we're there to win, you know what I mean?
(12:49):
So that's right when you come upagainst maybe an A grade team
that's there having fun because they're half our age and they're
having a laugh. They've got out of the house.
And yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, You know what I mean?
And then they come up against us.
We're not there for a laugh, man.
We're there to win. So, so we can so we can jump
people like that. You know, we can, yeah, we can
sort of win some games. Yeah, man.
Yeah, you guys are a bit more a bit more vested.
(13:10):
Yeah, we're, we're all in. We're taking them in paddle
nick. Like dudes are bouncing off
them, you know what I mean? It's out of control.
So yeah, we need to get a guest on because our community out
there circa 25 to 45 miles need to know if there's something
going on out there with these peptides because it sounds like
you guys are sort of doing that and as you age usually do that.
(13:31):
Yeah, I mean, absolutely. And it's, it's for me, it's
changed my life. PK Like it just allows you to
what it does. It allows you to recover, it
helps you recover. And because you recover, you get
to wake up the next day and go again.
But what happens is if you if you're not recovering, then the
next day you don't, you might goagain, but you're sort of a bit
sluggish and you don't push as fast because you're a bit sore.
(13:54):
And it sort of becomes like that, but with the peptides and
the, you know, you get proper blood tests and doctors
involved. It's not not, you know, it's not
like a Wild West. Yeah, and this is not medical.
Advice. No, this is definitely not
medical advice. Be.
Curious. What about you, PK?
You your ears have pricked a fewtimes when I've mentioned the
peptides. You know there's.
Been a few goals. Happening and you still get down
(14:15):
to the tan on a Friday. You know what I mean 100% what
what your you normally have somepretty big goals.
I've noticed you've, you've beena bit quiet, like, like, have
you got like, God, you know, Yeah, yeah, you've been a
little, you know, you. Just I haven't gone and done a
boxing time. Well, I'm like now.
I'm the underachiever. No, no, no.
It's more like you've been very general with what you're trying
(14:36):
to achieve, opposed to putting down a hard.
I'm keen for you to lay down something that's lay down.
OK, we've. Got we've got to where you want
to get to. You've lay something down
because you're a doer duty on the hook.
Oh, you know what I know about you being on the hook?
If I can get you on the hook, yeah, it's game over.
You'll do it. Yeah.
Do you know what I mean? The hard part is.
Why sometimes I avoid? That's right.
That's what I can't. You got to be careful what you
do. No, no, there's a few goals.
(14:58):
2025 we want to be want to be a big one.
Oh, you want the year to be a big one?
Yeah, what did you? Think no, because 2025 you want
to be a small one. You're trying to.
Oh. OK, He's saying I need to lose
some weight. No, no, no, no.
I mean over in Thailand was awesome.
We trained saw, saw everyone like you obviously included
(15:19):
frontline in the event, but everyone just going over there
trying. To hold straight, dude, what was
that like? Tell the people like what that
was like. Oh man, this is gyms all down
the street. You know, protein bars and
shakes everywhere. No, no, no shop fronts or doors.
They're all open and you walk down and you can see people
training. And everyone saw you on similar
vibes. Few good rigs getting around
(15:40):
there. I'm going oh, no, everyone's,
you know, into it. There's probably a few Pepto
odds getting around, but but yeah, man, that was good.
And it was, it was, yeah, it wasenjoyable and and it was just
like. Did it make you want to set a
goal though? Yeah, no, I did.
It did did you get you put yourself amongst that
environment and see people achieving their goals such as
yourself? And it's it's inspiring.
Then it is like it reminds you that Oh well, fucking we can do
(16:03):
it. You know what I mean?
So it's yeah. So it's good.
So and and not to mention it's that time of the year where
we're setting goals and you knowwhat I mean?
Jan Feb. I've got a proposition for you.
How about this? How about this?
Because I don't want to put you on the spot right now, but the
next internal we'll bring some scales in.
Just copy on this we'll. Get a baseline.
We'll see where you're at. Yeah.
And then we'll, we'll, we'll, we'll pick a number that scares
(16:25):
us, right? We'll go for it and we'll go
and. We'll go for it, man yeah, and
then and we'll show these got, we'll show everyone watching,
man. I'll be I'll be the one that
hold. Let's fucking do it man 'cause.
If it doesn't happen, I'll have to find a new host.
Come out of here. We're locking it in guys.
There you go So like Benny said, jump in the comments who's
coming with we'll? Come up with a nice name for it.
(16:45):
Power. Who's?
Coming with All right, there yougo.
Let's get into it. We're going to get into this new
segment. Benny Fishers, Fishers review
fishy reviews. Let's go.
I'll get better at that. Team fishy reviews about, I'm
going to say successful companies.
Successful things. Successful things or companies,
anything that's got a review. But we've got some haters, we've
got some Karens, as we know, like Benny, like you were at me
(17:08):
on these Google reviews way backwhen, when we started the
business. And we've chipped away at them.
And they're definitely somethingyou get proud of.
And when someone comes and dropsa comment that you don't even
know who they are. Yeah, I'm excited because we're
going to hang out the Karens, right?
Hang the Karens out to drive. Because yeah, we've had it
happen to us and there's nothingworse.
And it's happened to us again recently.
It doesn't actually worry us anymore.
Used to worry us. Do you think Google?
(17:31):
Will, do you think Google and people can figure it out as
well? When you've got like we're
saying here, this is what we're doing.
That's what we're doing now. I mean, you've got 100 people
saying you're incredible, and then you get one dude that you
know does like a vague review orsays something doesn't quite
make sense, and you go, I don't know who's right.
All right, Benny, let's go all. Right, so I've got to
concentrate PK is that? Good.
So Power's come up with all this.
(17:52):
This is fresh to me, too, Power said.
Don't look at it. OK?
Melbourne, Skydeck. OK, here we go.
You know what Melbourne Skydeck? Is that like the Rialto thing?
Top of the Eureka I reckon. Oh, the Eureka, Roger, Pretty
sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
The Eureka. Chat that that Karen's.
You. Can't even read it power give it
(18:12):
that. So how many how many reviews
does that have that has the Ricahad total?
OK, Melbourne Skydeck 4.5 stars. But how many out of out of how?
Many out of 15,000. Wow.
So that's solid, Benny. That's pretty solid.
Pretty solid you. Wouldn't want to go any lower.
Yeah, that wouldn't. But let's get into the review
(18:34):
because that's going to tell a story, right?
Because they might. They should be maybe a 4.8.
Have you been to the Sky Deck? No, I haven't.
Have I been to the sky deck? But that's going to be funny
because that is a lady. And that's a Segway to this
first review. Ben Robin Gleason.
Karen. One star, never been there.
(18:58):
That was Robin. Thanks, Robin.
Thanks for your feedback. So.
That's what we're talking. About never been there 3 words.
Never been there and she leaves A1 Star review.
What I Karen, that is awful behavior.
I'm just. Trying to understand why would
you do that. That's awful.
She's a very negative person. How many reviews has she got?
39. Yeah, there you go, 39 one stars
(19:20):
I bet too. Because she hasn't done.
That's amazing. All right, Jesse Groves, are we
shouting these people? We are, aren't.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Our parents are going in.
All right, this goes for a while.
This one they. Put it out publicly so.
Yeah, they're yeah. It's public information, Yeah,
they've got to, aren't it, man all.
Right, Jesse, jump in the comments.
Jesse, if, if we're being harsh,I left the Eureka Tower, very
(19:41):
left the Eureka Tower very quitedisappointed today.
Not sure how. Far through school.
She very quite disappointed, yeah.
Yeah, this might be coming from a nine year old, but after
waiting for the attraction to open, my friends and I decided
to see what all the fuss was about.
We were on a school city experience and.
And all had a little bit of money.
(20:02):
We found the service to be atrocious.
After paying for very overpricedtickets, we walked to the
elevator where Adrian, a short man.
So it's all right to be short, isn't it?
A short man whose job was simplyto press the buttons on the lift
greeted us after walking into the lift, sincerely thanking him
and giving him a friendly pat onthe shoulder.
(20:24):
Adrian looked at me with a hostile look and sternly told me
not to touch him or he would kick me out.
I assume Adrian felt threatened and less manly by my friends and
I, who are quite tall, whereas Adrian was at the height of
roughly a pubescent girl. Where's this?
It's aggressive, Jesse. Yes, the viewer.
(20:46):
Eureka Tower was quite nice. It's exactly what you would
expect from a building like this.
But it is not worth a hefty price tag.
A ride in a lift to be graded bya polling staff.
I would not recommend it at all.Are you allowed to touch
someone? I don't, I reckon.
I reckon. What's his name?
The short fella. Adrian.
I reckon Ado's got a fairpoint man.
(21:08):
Well, yeah, don't touch me. Let's not touch each other.
Yeah, like I said to my kids, like, let's keep our hands and
feet to ourselves. Go.
I like that I haven't read these, Benny.
Yeah, because I get to enjoy it as well.
Correct. OK.
Fed Square. So there's a couple of Melbourne
iconic landmarks. Yeah, yeah.
And they're and they're cool joints.
If anyone out there finds any, send them through.
Put them in the comments. Going to make powers life a.
(21:29):
Bit easier, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Fed Square 4.5 stars, so same as4.5 I.
Would have thought Fed square was up.
There 2000 reviews OK Sean Sean Oh, just straight Sean was a
really nice place. But then all the security guards
made a circle around me and started throwing doughnuts at me
and calling me Mr. Fatty Fat Bumba.
(21:51):
What? Two likes.
Is that? Is that made-up?
That's not true, it's made-up sohang on.
They just randomly circled him and started throwing doughnuts
at him. He's got 39. 39 reviews.
Robin had 39 as well. Anyway, I just coincidences.
Probably 39, so he's just havinga fun.
(22:13):
Is he? Yeah, He's.
That's not real. That's unlikely, but anyway,
that's. That's that's an.
Example of why a place a googledplace.
That's a fishy. Review 4.5 That's a fishy
review. Call it out, Benny.
Call. It out.
Now we've got looks like we've got one more.
Well done pal. This has been a like, it's been
a hit. I've enjoyed myself anyway.
Johnny, Vince and Sam's Restaurant.
(22:34):
Ohh the boys, well this is. The boys?
Is this the boy? He's.
Been there too, let's say. That the name of their place?
Yeah, Yeah, it's called Sushi Mango, it's called.
No, no, 'cause that's the name of their characters, right?
Yeah. The Boy, Vince and Sam's
restaurant. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's. OK.
Yeah, yeah. How?
What? What do you think?
Where are they sitting? They man, they're a fucking five
star restaurant for sure. Like how could be how much, how
(22:56):
much? These guys, they're five star
operators. I'm going to say, yeah, I'm
going to say I'm going to call. They've only been open 1218
months maybe. They've got 2000.
They've had 2000 reviews. It's going to be hard 4.6. 4.7
Well played, yeah. Well played Benny, I'm happy for
(23:16):
him at 4.7 because you're like food, food real hard man.
It's 'cause it's so subjective, man.
Please, everyone, someone's having a bad night, Yeah?
You can't, man. You just can't.
And so many variables. You can put the plate down, they
go to the toilet, they come backand they said the food was cold
and you're like, you're in the fucking toilet for 15 minutes,
you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, 100% So, yeah.
But anyway, so. So yeah.
(23:37):
We've got one review here and yeah, get down to the we love
the boys. Yeah, they're awesome to the
sushi boys. And Bonnie will be able to
verify this. He's been there.
Yeah, yeah. And that's a good point.
We'll throw to Bonnie seven reviews, one star by Sierra.
I wanted to try and say the second name, but Sierra, I don't
do reviews. Well, you've done 7.
(23:59):
I don't that's a. Problem.
I don't do reviews, but felt theneed.
That's what everybody does. Yeah, I don't do reviews.
That's not who I am. That's not how I normally.
Behave Karen, you do do reviews.I don't do reviews but felt the
need to do 1 for this restaurant.
We were told that the wait wouldbe around 45 minutes to an hour.
However, we waited 2 hours to beseated.
(24:22):
That's what happens. That's what happens when you go
to elite fucking restaurants andthere's demand is down the
street. You know what I mean?
You're gonna have to experience a bit of waiting.
Time and then I think it's well known that the ones that you
wait for you wait for right well.
That's what it is. There's a reason people are
waiting. That's what it is.
But but that's the expectation, right?
Like I think Chin Chin's maybe as a similar scenario.
Sit there, wait, have a drink and we'll give you a call when
(24:44):
they're ready. That's the risk you take to get
into these elite venues after waiting for so long.
We thought the food would be worth it, only to be
disappointed we got the Sam's Spazzatino and beef raga poo.
Raga, Polly. Beef ragu pasta and it was not
even al dente. It was much harder and reminded
(25:06):
me of tuna pasta. So much pulled meat.
My friend got the gnocchi and that was overcooked.
You honestly didn't have to chewit, it was melt melted in your
mouth. I think she's saying that's a
bad thing. The pizza that didn't look like
a pizza tasted more like a focaccia and the burrita was
extremely salty. Not sure if it was our luck but
(25:28):
I personally wouldn't go again. The atmosphere is great though.
Gave the food. You know how they break it down.
Gave the food one out of five. Gave the service one out of
five. Gave the atmosphere 3 out of
five. So the atmosphere was great.
Gets a three out of five. So go show.
How Yeah yeah yeah pricks yeah yeah yeah it.
Was great great Sits around 5:00I've like.
(25:48):
But they're going like, not sureif, you know, we had a bad day
today, Like they had a bad. We'll have a look.
Sounds like you're sure. Sounds like Yeah, well, it looks
like there's thousands of other people that are telling ya,
yeah. But yeah, you're unlucky.
So. Let them have a bad day.
Let them off the hook. But the fact that they called
out all 5 meals as well, like you could go, you had a bad day
(26:09):
on the gnocchi maybe. Yeah right.
But the pizza was good. But the pizza didn't look like
pizza. The gnocchi didn't look taste
like you know what I mean? She's got pictures here.
Like how do they? Of the pizza well, it's just it
looks like an authentic pizza doesn't look like a Domino's.
What do you mean? What do you mean?
Domino's is very round and very.Perfect.
Yeah, where like an authentic Italian cuisine is like quite.
(26:30):
Natural and it's OK, it's not Oval.
It could be Oval too. You do.
The dye on the spot. You like Domino's?
She's yeah, comes. Out of machine.
Something. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Out of a container. So Domino's bases, you know.
But anyway, there you go. Well, that's a segment.
If that's a segment, we just didit so.
That's it. We're going to expose more
Karens. We're going to go to.
Power TuneIn next time and we can expose more Karens.
(26:53):
All right, guys like share, subscribe.
Anyone's got a value out of that?
Maybe a review for the? Not a Karen.
Karen will probably start falling.
Five star reviews. But just.
They do help on the they do helpon these platforms, though,
yeah, whether it be on Google orSpotify or Apple, All the places
where you, you know what a Trustpilot, all the places.
(27:13):
They have. No, they do, man.
People, people, people. Trust them.
I was just thinking about something then I on a reel I saw
a fella with a business and he had a restaurant.
Someone left a bad review and hejumped in the comment of the
review and said you know really sorry blah blah blah blah.
Must have been a rough night. Anyone that comes in and
mentions this review, I'll give 50% off to so the people that
(27:36):
see it and he goes come in, I'llprove to anyone that's reading
this that that this is not how we deliver food.
Yeah, and our food is better. He comes in, people mention the
review, he gives it to them for half price.
So. Then they probably go do a
review. Yeah, 100%.
But he's still getting the people through the doors.
Yeah. So he's turning a negative into
a positive. Making 50% of something instead
(27:57):
of 100%. Correct.
And then no doubt might have been might have even been a 10
percent, 20% discount, somethinglike that.
But he's made it an actual Yeah, like comical, if that makes
sense. That's.
Well, not even comical. He's just, he's got strategic.
Yeah, that's actually. Strategic, yeah.
Yeah. So anyway, all right, guys,
quick one, quick shout out. We'll be back in a month, but
some amazing guests between now and then.
(28:18):
We've got an Olympic netballer. She was amazing.
Next week I think we've got an incredible hip hop artist man
that's doing that's just released an album and taking
over the world. Taking over the Internet.
An Aussie hip hop artist taking over.
Percent. And we've got a property guru
with a near death experience that was amazing.
He's doing a crazy things in theproperty space across the
(28:38):
country, but all we could do wastalk about him and his near
death experience and he was a lovely fella.
So that's a Ripper to Benny. All right guys, on a serious
note, the reviews do mean a lot and the people that already have
done them, we really appreciate it.
Spotify. Benny.
YouTube. Apple, I think you can review on
Apple. You can't review on on on on
YouTube, but you can leave a comment, a thumbs up and
(29:00):
subscribe yeah. But yeah, anyone, anyone that
hasn't yet that's out there listening and appreciates what
we do, if you could leave us a if you could genuinely leave us
a five star review on Apple or Spotify.
We can't tell you how much it helps and.
Well, that's why we're doing this segment.
Yeah, let's go. See you at the top part of a
(29:24):
winning team. People can find a better version
of themselves if they choose. You just need to go start some
shit. Action is all that matters.
Be a man if you. Would think, I look back now and
I'm like, well, that took some guts.
We can't, we can't. We can't see you at the top.
