In this raw and vulnerable episode, I open up about one of the darkest seasons of my life—the unraveling that began when our oldest daughter moved across the country with our first grandchild. What followed was a deep spiral into depression, emotional disconnect, and ultimately, choices I never thought I’d make.
For years, I believed that pushing pain down and pretending I was “fine” was strength. But when life hit harder than ever, everything I’d buried came to the surface. In this episode, I share how that season led me to walk away from church, from God, and from the version of myself I once knew.
This is the part of my story I didn’t want to tell. But I’m telling it now—because Jesus told the man He healed in John 5 to pick up his mat and walk… not to leave it behind. And now, I’m carrying my mat—not as a symbol of shame, but as proof that healing is real. This is my testimony.
