"And therefore, where there's natural holes in the ground that are visited by people, the water is hot, and sometimes it's too hot to get into. But usually they're safe to enter. And they're in exquisite locations because of the heavy dependence on it being near volcanic magma activity regions of the country. So you're almost always surrounded by beautiful mountains. This one today is, ...

"But ultimately we were able to hike for a good three hour period in the morning or a three hour period in the evening. And almost every single day we hiked for an entire chunk of three hours at least once. And we saw so much beauty. Hiked Cathedral we which is where our family's Christmas card is as you'll see here in one of the images. But Sedona is just immersed in beauty and just gr...

"This is a hidden gem that I discovered. I didn't discover it personally, of course, but I was traveling up in Canada through Alberta, and there's a particular area there known as Banff National Park. And as you travel north on the Icefields Parkway, you'll pass a little lake called Bow Lake. And as you continue uphill, kind of heading northwest, you'll see a little sign that says Peyto L...

"Or maybe you're still dreaming and you've traveled around a little bit, but you just haven't been to that one place yet. What is that one place for you? I want to hear it. Let's see if we have some of those places in common with one another. For me, I would love to see Egypt and Greece and parts of South America that I have not been to yet. How about."

"So my dad took my brother and I beneath the falls and it's one of my favorite memories. And they got it on film. Apparently, when you run out from beneath the falls with the rain jackets on, there's a photographer there that takes your picture. For the longest time, my dad had that photograph on his desk at work. So I remember walking into his office and picking it up and seeing it."

"So that's definitely one moment in the American west, which I admittedly have not spent a lot of time in. That's one moment that really, really has stuck with me and I think will stick with me."

"You know, I'm definitely one to even take my day to day, fast paced mindset and take that with me into these national places, natural places. And I will oftentimes be so quick to check off the hikes and to move on to the next agenda and whatnot. But it's really peaceful even if you just stop for five or ten minutes."

"Favorite national park. That's a tough one. I feel like my national park preferences definitely vary with the seasons. Some seasons, sometimes of the year, I crave different national parks. Just recently I've been craving Joshua Tree again for the first time in a long time. Joshua Tree is so unique and so magical and mystical in so many beautiful ways."

"And I'm sure there's a million photos of it because it seems like it's there on purpose. But it was such a surprise, and I'll never forget stumbling upon it and feeling like, oh, my God. And taking a shot of it. And it's one of my favorite shots. And I have it on a frame in my hallway, and I actually used a frame that's actually when you take a photo and you burn it onto aluminum."

"There's so many instances where that's been the case, but the one I want to spotlight today is a special one, and it's one of the multiple times I've actually traveled to Yosemite for firefalls. And I have made it a point to capture it. So firefalls is actually a phenomenon, a natural phenomenon that happens in Yosemite Valley in February, about mid February, for about a week. There is a ver...

"He was a local Navajo gentleman who grew up in the area, and he was interested in showing me some pretty cool hidden paths, hidden trails out there in his region. So he told me when he's off work, and he told me where to go park my camper and truck on a dirt road out there where no one's going to bother me. And so I did."
