Aaron Higgins (00:00):
Well, hey, jason,
it's been a hot minute hasn't
it?
Jason Crosby (00:02):
It sure has, man.
It has been too long.
I'm glad that we get backtogether, though.
Aaron Higgins (00:08):
Yeah well.
So our audience is probablywondering where have you guys
been?
Well, the answer is we're notdead, at least not yet, but
we've been cooking up a lot ofthings for our next season,
which will be season five.
Lot of things for our nextseason, which will be season
(00:29):
five, and you know the best laidplans of mice and men.
Things have taken a lot longerto get together than we thought
they would.
Jason Crosby (00:35):
Well said, well
said, but you know what Great
things come to those who wait,so hopefully this will help
educate some folks and we'llhave some fun doing it.
Aaron Higgins (00:44):
Yeah, so we are
doing things a little bit
differently this season.
We will still intersperse insome of the latest headlines and
that sort of thing, but thisyear we thought we would kind of
bring an experience to you thatmaybe you don't get to
experience when they're normallyscheduled, and that's the SHP
(01:05):
webinars.
Jason Crosby (01:07):
Yeah, so this
season, or I should say this
year, we are trying a little bitdifferent tactics, like we have
in the past, through webinars,as Aaron mentioned.
As of this recording, we've hada couple already and what we've
enjoyed about those is some arein partnership with others and
(01:28):
other companies, other vendors, what have you and then
associations, and so we get achance to meet folks and we want
to make sure that, as we havethose, aaron and I will try and
take a few minutes and as bestas we can recap those, but also
where we are able to, when wepartner with folks is bring on
the other folks that areincluded right to where they can
speak directly to how thewebinar went, some of the topics
(01:51):
, so you'll hear directly fromthem as well which little plug
those webinars are on ourwebsite.
They're typically on thearchived webinars page, so be
sure to check those out as wellarchived webinars page, so be
sure to check those out as well.
Aaron Higgins (02:08):
Yeah, we would
encourage you not just to rely
on the recaps, because therecaps are only going to cover
the highlights To get into thenitty-gritty details.
Certainly, you can go to thewebsite.
You can watch the recordedwebinars and yes, I did say
watch.
Most of the webinars have somekind of visual component
associated with it, so we dohave those on our website and on
our YouTube channel.
Jason Crosby (02:29):
And oftentimes if
there is a PowerPoint, you'll be
able to download those as well.
And contact information.
For example, we recentlypartnered with Corstrata and if
you're interested in theirservices you'll have that as
well.
So we're trying to, you know, with the Tide Rises All Boats
sort of approach, where we alltry to help one another and
you'll see that information aswell.
(02:50):
Another, and you'll see thatinformation as well.
And there, and I will also tryand take the time to present
upcoming events, whether it'sin-person speaking engagements,
which we have a couple of thoselined up this fall webinars or
just other topics we think mightbe of help as well.
Aaron Higgins (03:05):
We certainly have
a lot on our plate right now,
so that's why there's kind of aslightly different tone to the
podcast.
We hope you enjoy it.
We think that particularlythose who are super busy, who
only have about 15 minutes a dayto listen to us, will be able
to at least glean from ourwebinars, our podcast versions
(03:27):
of the webinars, some reallyvaluable information.
And, like Jason said, we aregoing to have special guests
throughout, so it's not going tobe oh, here's just a snippet
recording and that's it.
That's kind of the lazy man'sway out.
Jason Crosby (03:40):
We are going to
talk about the webinar and
interview our guest, and ifyou'd like to be more informed,
as when those occur, check outour LinkedIn page.
We try to maintain that prettyactively a few posts every week.
We post biweekly on our blogpage on our website, and then we
have a bi-monthly-ishnewsletter that we produce, and
(04:03):
so all the events are withinthose mechanisms.
So reach out one of those waysor contact Aaron and I.
We'll make sure you're part ofthat contact so you're aware of
when things are posted or eventsare upcoming and you want to
register.
That would be the probably bestways to be informed.
Check our LinkedIn, check ourwebsite or contact us to be
(04:24):
included in the newsletter.
Aaron Higgins (04:26):
I mean I know I'm
biased, Jason, because
obviously this is our podcast, but I am looking forward to this
season.
I think it's going to bring adifferent style and form and
conversation to the channel, soI'm excited about it.
I think it's something just alittle bit different and I hope
(04:46):
our listeners enjoy it as muchas I think we will have making
it.
Jason Crosby (04:51):
Agreed, agreed,
and we'll have a little fun with
some of the headlines here andthere.
Right, there's always somethingto talk about, and you're right
, I think, when looking at theevents list that we have in
front of us past and upcoming, very informative, whether it's
clinical oriented.
We're going to talk abouttariffs.
We actually have our supplychain consultant we're going to
talk about right.
(05:11):
So there's lots of what I wouldsay is productive, meaningful
conversations that we're goingto have as well, that I think
any sector within the industrycould benefit from, and I think
we'll all learn something fromthose.
Aaron Higgins (05:25):
You know, we've
kind of come almost full circle
with this podcast.
When we first started it, wehad all of these companies that
you would never imagine enteringinto the healthcare market, and
those same companies that weexpressed disbelief of being
successful have all exited themarket, like Best Buy and Amazon
.
So it's been an interestingjourney.
(05:47):
As I was talking with youearlier, jason, healthcare isn't
like fly by the seat of yourpants exciting stuff.
It's very iterative.
Some of the changes are slow, but when they happen they happen
, and it's been an interestingtime.
So we will unpack some of that.
Folks like Best Buy leaving themarket, amazon divesting
(06:09):
themselves we talked a lot abouttheir entrance into the market.
We'll talk about their exitstoo.
Jason Crosby (06:15):
Yeah, of good
stuff.
And you're right, we'll try tokeep some entertainment right to
all this.
I know we've had the uh, youknow, is the hot dog a sandwich?
Sort of routine.
Maybe we'll introduce, you know, the dad joke segment as part
of this, just to keep it alittle little light, you know,
and we'll keep it tame Well as anew father, I certainly need to
brush up on my dad jokes, so Iconsider that challenge accepted
(06:39):
.
Aaron Higgins (06:39):
Challenge
accepted.
Jason Crosby (06:41):
You've got it, you
know what?
Well, on a lighthearted note,as Aaron mentioned, new father
got to brush up on the dad jokes, which he's very good at.
We both love dad jokes, right,Aaron and I both wear glasses.
So with that, no-transcript.
There you go.
Aaron Higgins (07:00):
Oh, that's a good
one.
That's a good one.
Jason Crosby (07:02):
More to come Good
to catch up and we hope
everybody that's listeningyou'll also partake in future
episodes and contact us to stayinformed.
Aaron Higgins (07:15):
Okay, thank you,
jason, and thank you listeners.

I try to derail it.
Aaron Higgins (07:49):
We're doing our
