When Empathy Becomes Sabotage

If you have a social media account, there is little doubt that you've seen numerous posts talking about the power of empathy, feelings, looking out for the emotional state of your peers, and so on. On the surface, it sounds nice. However, what if I were to tell you that, for those looking to lead (either their life or organization) it's terrible advice - if outcomes and goal achievement are what you want? What if I told you that it could fast-track your decline?
