The ignorance of money.
The ignorance of money.
We live in one of the richestcountries in the world.
Yet most people are stillfinancially ignorant.
They don't know what money is.
They don't know is purpose.
And they don't know how tosuccessfully.

(00:23):
Manage it.
Why is this.
It is because they believe thelie.
That money is the root.
Of all evil.
This lie is very potent.
Because it produces fear.
And fear keeps people fromgaining the full knowledge of
the truth concerning money.

Now is money.
Really the root of all evil.
Now let's examine the scripturetogether.
First Timothy chapter six.
And verse 10, reading from thenew living translation states.
For the love of money.
Is the root of all kinds ofevil.
And some people craving money.

(01:07):
Have wandered from the truefate.
And Pierce themselves.
With many sorrows.
Now the key phrase here is thelove of money.
Money is not evil.
And never will be.
It is the falling in love withmoney.
That brings about actions thatare contrary to the character.

And attributes of God.
The love of money is the evilpart, not money itself.
Those who fall in love withmoney.
Steals.
Ly and even kill for it.
We are never to become a levelsof money.
And anyone who allowedthemselves to fall in love with

money.
Lack.
The knowledge of what money isand why it was put here in the
first place.
Money has a purpose.
It has a mission.
It was put here by God for us.
To maximize.
But we cannot maximize money.
Without a clear understanding ofis.

Purpose.
What is money?
Purpose.
Money is a servant.
Given to us by God.
To serve us.
It's imperative that weunderstand this.
Failure to do so will result inmoney mastery.
Money will master you.

If you fail to treat it like aservant.
Money will do whatever it wantsto do and go where ever it
chooses to go think about it.
How many times have we.
I asked ourselves, Hey, wheredid my money go?
I just had three Benjamins onyesterday.

(02:59):
The, where did they go?
Being in complete control of themoney.
God gives to us to manage isextremely vital.
To us enjoying financial wealth.
And financial freedom.
Money ignorance causes one todisrespect money.

(03:21):
This is detrimental to handlingmoney successfully.
No, we'll never to love money.
But we must respect it.
Show me a person who is broke.
Before next payday.
And I will show you a person whodoesn't respect money.
Show me a person who gambleshis, or her whole check.

And I will show you a person whodoesn't respect money.
It is simple as this.
We must obtain a clearunderstanding of what money is.
His purpose and completelycontrol it at all time.
If we felt alone with money is.
If we choose not to know hispurpose.

We will never.
Be able to control it.
This, my friend.
In a nutshell.
Is a tragedy.
What is the tragedy?
The tragedy is being ignorant.
