This is a spotlight on the Scriptures Revelation 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.

Prophecy gives warnings and chances to repent before God brings judgment on nations, families, or individuals. Likewise, God gives promises and prophecies to His faithful servants before granting rewards and blessings, offering them hope and encouragement.

During the challenging times faced by Christian Churches, especially Gentile Churches, in the Apostle John’s time, the revelation of future events was a significant blessing. Amidst the turmoil and persecution threatening the Church's survival, this revelation assured believers that the Living Lord was actively working for His Church.

The prophecy promised that through conflict and stress, the Church would emerge purified and perfected, ready as a bride for Christ. This assurance provided immense comfort and hope to the early Christians, strengthening their faith during difficult times. May it be a reminder for us (the church)  in the 21st century. Our hope is in Christ alone.  This is a spotlight on the Scriptures.
