Hey ALL! Getting older and bolder. Have always taught the Word but after my Mdiv I now teach Genesis to Revelations every year. With all the weekly prep I do I uncover some major Gems by Gods Grace. I can not help but do a podcast. Listener's have used the word "contagious" to describe my teaching. This old bible detective wells up at that word. It is a pure miracle I have this gift and passion. Chapter 3 of Ruth has had many theories - it is incredible to listen to the views of the Jewish sect on Naomi and Ruth in this beautiful Chapter.

There are 2 stories where Jesus feeds thousands in Matthew - Let's take a look at them both and see what Matthew is emphasizing.
Jesus parables continue. It affirms and makes me teary to consistently see Jesus extended hand to every listener from child to elder, poor to rich, slave to freeman, and Jew to Gentile.
Matthew begins telling the Parables with the Parable of the Sower which is the Parable scholars feel sets up our investigation of the rest of the Parables. This is an important one for us to begin with. It is massive in meaning - Enjoy!

Who do you say that I AM? John the Baptist's message from Prison has many theories. I feel John was doubting and I love how Jesus does not shame him but gives him a direct answer. Also, we go to the start of the Church - when Jesus asks His disciples - Who do you say that I AM. Inspiring
Matthew's next 3 miracles are magnifying that Jesus is the Messiah - and Jesus is God. This is the best!
Miracles in Matthew Part 1. Matthew devotes a section of his gospel to ten miracles. The first three demonstrate the healing of 3 people the Israelites would not have expected. The Leper, The gentile, and The women. Enjoy.
Taking time in Matthew - we start the Mountain of a Sermon - The sermon on the Mount - putting some of it in context is important for understanding.

The 400 years between the Old Testament and New Testament is beyond incredible to study. Let's find God in the details we have - starting with the amazing story of Alexander the Great.
You will not regret this listen. If you want to investigate the 400 years between testaments this portion is the most pivotal time for the Israelites. Do not miss this foundation to the New testament.
This is what I was most excited to teach. But everyone needed background first. Jesus would have grown up in this environment. A Pharisee was probably a teacher in His synagogue or an invited guest. Jesus would have studied with the common man in town. Take this 25 minutes to get a good background for the New Testament times!! God Brought Jesus into an amazing environment.
We need to discover what the Word says about the Christmas story and hear what the Eastern body of Christ says. It is incredible and worth the listen. Merry Christmas and Love to you all.
Here we go. We got through the Tabernacle. Today I was discouraged and asked God who will ever bare through this all. The details are so good! But then refreshed my heart in realizing this is God's house. The 1/2 acre of the entire universe He decided to dwell in. How can we miss out!
