Speaker 1 (00:00):
That's when it really hit and kicked in. On the film,
you hear us stammering, our words are mixed. We tried
our best to lose the thing. You always think that
you're prepared, but you're never prepared when it hits. When
it's there, it's there, and you never know when. When
we got back, that's when it really starts syncing in.
It took me a month to even say I knew
(00:23):
that it was some kind of cryptid, and I'm still
actually processing it all because if you believe in one cryptid,
how can you not believe that? In the rest.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
Friends of Ours was invited to uh LBL for a outing,
and it was gonna be the weekend of March fifteenth,
and we didn't know at the time it was gonna
be this monsoon gale of hailstorms and what it rained
(01:28):
and the whole thing. We didn't know it was gonna be,
I guess a rainy season like it is today. But
uh so they invited us to go meet them up there.
So we're from Louisiana, kind of mid mid Louisiana. So
we decided we h we wanted to do that, and
we got a cabin and so we're both retired, and uh,
(01:56):
we just took off a little early, a day early,
and we was going stay in West Memphis, and so
we rolled into West Memphis, got a phone calls that
they canceled the the meet and greet, and uh so
when we got to the room, I went head to
contacted all our immediate party that we was gonna be
with and uh see if they still wanted to do it,
(02:17):
and they said, yeah, we're all coming. So we just
continued on the next morning to h LBL and it
was windy and it was we got we've got into
our cabin, got settled in, and we met a few
folks who started coming in. We the people was coming
started rolling in and we we got there. That was
(02:39):
on a Friday, and that would be the fourteenth, I think,
So we uh, everything went all right. The weather hadn't
got real bad. So when we got up, made a
few rounds and went looking for daytime and for tracks
and just just that and the other here there and yonder.
And then the nighttime came and we went out, made
(03:05):
a little thurmb around and the reason why we were
going in this area, we'd been there kind of scoped
it out before the year before, and there was lots
of game in the area, and that would be you know,
if it's anything out there due to all the game
that we were seeing in the area, that that would
be a good prospect for feeing something. Not necessarily anything particular,
(03:25):
but we're just going to see what we can see
and not expecting to see anything that may or may
not in what we captured. But anyway, so we get there,
we do that, and the next day we spend a
little time when the weather breaks out and about looking
and stuff and so that eating we went to eat,
(03:49):
and then we come back. I said, at this point,
I'm saying, well, if we don't go now, tomorrow is
going home day. We ain't no, but we are not
going to get to look at this thermals. I had
a brand new thing one my friend to sy in action.
So we took off about tennish at night, heading out
(04:11):
and so this paths gonna take over from here.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Well, there was about eight there was like seven of
us that decided to uh get together at the cabin
and stay. One of the wives became sick, so she
was unable to go out with us. Uh, So there
wasn't enough room in one vehicle. So what we did
(04:37):
is we split it up. There was three in one
truck and three in another. Well, Bud our friend wanted
was interested in the scope. So what I was sitting
in the back seat behind Joe to basically to my left,
(04:58):
and what we were doing is we were we were
trading back and forth with the thermal scanning out there.
There was a break in the weather, a lot of humidity,
so we had to adjust the camera a little bit
as well. We saw a lot of deer. Uh, there
(05:21):
was a lot of game out. We even saw like
a coyote hunt. They were hunting a deer. Saw that
in action. And we were driving down through the bottoms there,
which is a lot of corn fields and then there's
a lot of forested area. So we were windy and
twisty roads all through the all through the road and
(05:48):
we come around a corner and there was a bend
in the road and it was along the hillside which
was all forested. The other side had it appeared to
be like a bottom where it is like cornfield or whatever.
We did find out later on that it was a
cornfield and there was a creek running along there, so
(06:10):
there was a wooded area there as well, but at
a at a short distance away, I saw I had
the thermal and I saw a I picked up a
heat signature, and I said, hey, I've got something. And
it was probably maybe one hundred and seventy five yards
(06:33):
two hundred yards away, uh, And it was standing behind
the woodline that was up against the road, and I
could see movements, and they had and the thermal is, yes, yes,
(06:58):
well the normal it has Wi Fi capabilities is what
it is. So everything that I saw, they were able
to see on their phone, the phone on as well
that he had on the dash, so they saw the
movement too, and it was moving behind the woodline there,
(07:21):
right at the creek. So we sped up real quick
and we stopped and we were right across from it.
We're guessing we were probably seventy yards away. There was
no leaves on the trees because this was the middle
of March, so it was easy to see through the
(07:44):
through the woodline, and it appeared to be standing on
the other side of a creek. H And what happened
was what happened. It was hiding behind a bush. It
appeared to be hiding behind a bush, and it stood
there for probably I would say fifteen seconds, and it
(08:09):
turned around and it stepped out, and it's at this
point it squared up at us, and I knew we
had had something that was rather big anyway, and we
knew that it wasn't human. At this point, it was
standing on two legs. It appeared to have ears. It
(08:33):
had like a lion's mane around its neck, long arms,
and it was a little bit hard to tell how
tall it was because the only line of sight was
through the camera because there was there was no light
that you couldn't even see. So my concern was was
(08:58):
also for our safety because I was the only line
of sight in case this thing decided to come across
the creek. Stood there and watched us. Everything was slow,
calculated movements. It turned to the right, it turned to
the left. We sat there probably ten minutes filming. We
(09:23):
were filming the entire time, and Bud, the passenger, he
decided to get out and take the thermal. He was
going to walk towards it and try and get a
better look. Well, when he stepped out of the truck
and he took the thermal from me, it turned and
(09:43):
it was appearing to try and hide and as he
took a step off the road into the field, the cornfield,
he stepped in mud up to his ankle and he
decided not to go. Thank goodness, we don't recommend you
(10:05):
doing any of this. As we look back at it,
it was a bad It was a bad idea. You
don't you don't go after them like that. Anything could
have happened to us at this point. And it had
turned and we can we're filming still. We can see
it and we're watching it. Watch him. Uh And so
(10:28):
finally he got back into the truck, he decided not
to go over. He handed the camera back to me.
It turned back around and faced us again. It stood there, turning,
just watching us. We heard nothing. I'm not sure if
(10:51):
there was others at that point. I did scan the woodline.
I didn't see anything. We tried our best to lose
this thing with moving around the camera all over the place,
just different just different moves like that, and talking. And
(11:11):
what we did is we decided to go ahead and
go that it was time to go. And as we
were driving off, we could see that there was more
than one that was moving as we As we started
to go off, and Joe can finished with that.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Now you got to take in my mind that that
we come up here on this on this vertical figure.
So we've been looking and she's been looking at deer,
been looking kyots and all that's horizontal. When you look
for something with thermal it's on four legs. You'd be
looking for the back line first, you know that's the
(11:52):
way it is, and then you're and but we ran
a corner and did this. The signature is up. We're
watching it on my phone. I got what we're talking
on right now, the driver or which is mate, shotgun man,
which is Bud. We're all watching the phone. It's also
on the on the dash up by the way the
(12:13):
windshield so you can see out the windshiel also or
she's doing all the femine from the back seat on
my side behind the driver. And what I got is
at twenty five about three eighty four agen rather two
rifle scope. Thermal scope is what it actually is. It
wasn't It was a swar on a handheld situation. As
(12:37):
we come up to it, she she sees a big signature,
looks real big or it's multiples and so we he's
on up a little ways up the road and kind
of got across from it, and then all you see
is it's something there. You can see the outline, but
it's really hard to see, and we're picking that up,
(13:01):
and then we're looking around a little bit and then
we get locked on. We get the filming. She's getting
me lined up to film, and I'm turning on the
on the phone and I got the working set of
it on the phone to work the zoom, and they
turn the film on and all the camera recorder on,
so it's actually recording, but I'm doing the handwork on
(13:22):
the phone. It goes from being away from us after
we sit there a while and it gets tired of
waiting on us to leave. I guess figuring that we've
been busted. And it turns real slow, takes a step
down the hill and what you see is a white
outline that you see, uh, way more illuminated than it
(13:45):
was when his back was start where it was behind
bushes or it was it had fur blocking some of it,
I don't know, but it was when it turns the
stuff down that hill, you can plainly see different parts
of this thing lit up. We went back a month
later and we done best we could to recreate where
(14:06):
we were at, and we cut close. We didn't get
exactly on it. And I went out there. I'm six
to my buddy's budd he's six too. We both went out.
We were throwing him from the truck. I was actually
running from my phone in my hand Seidney yards away.
(14:27):
I was actually doing the pictures myself, and so we
took several pictures. You could see the phone in my
hands in the distance it would and that's alignment of
distance about where we thought we were at. The creature
appears to be maybe a little further out when we were,
or basically somewhere in the same line. But it ain't
(14:51):
exactly in the right place, I don't think. And that
night was so much fog in that bottom and rain
and moisture in the air. It's just like a grayish
looking gloom. Well, in the daytime pictures is clear and
that you can see a lot better sturmol of course,
but it's still a lot clearer than it was the
night we took that picture. It's a month later, foliage
(15:13):
was out more and uh so we did go back
to recon it and we we look at this thing
for ken Lenning solid on recording and it's people's got out.
The other three people showed up out it, you know,
a few minutes into this they one of them, the
driver gets out. They don't really see with his thumball
(15:35):
what we're seeing. And the other people stayed in the
truck unaware what was really going on. And uh so
we buddy gotten out and it was telling him where
it was at and what he was looking at, and
uh trying to get a perspective for maybe how big
it was from from the distance we was there that night.
(15:58):
And uh, like I said that it moved back and
forth at times where it would just turn right hand,
left hand back to us. We didn't know the whole time.
It had different signatures around it, but you just didn't
You couldn't make them out. There may be a glipse
or something. You didn't know whether it was where it
was just a white glitch in the you know, in
(16:20):
the woods, or it was actually something there. You couldn't tell.
So we stopped the camera about ten minutes in. She said, well,
what are you talking, Well, I don't know that. Well,
so it started back, so we started back up. We
went to running again for another six minutes and toward
the end of six minutes, I was thinking, I want
to see if we can move up, to see if
(16:41):
he'll move. Well, I was on the break the whole
time because I didn't know it was going to last
this long. I just thought, you know it might last.
Most times, these things don't last but a second and
they're gone. And I was on the break the whole time.
So I said, well, get back on it. She said, well,
(17:02):
let me get up. Let's get a spot where we
pick out where we where we're at. We come back,
we're gonna recon and say we'll be able to tell
where we're at. So they were doing that. They kind
of got eyeball on a couple of things, and I said,
we'll get back on it, and I'm gonna ease up. Well,
roll that off the break. It's quake. Well, it's quack.
By then it already moved up. Either truck had moved
(17:24):
or it had moved up. Well, I looked months later,
and right in front of it down the road by stave,
it's waste. Put three steps in front of it. You
see a little dim signature and when you slow it
down and you get your looking that signature in the
(17:46):
front is a different, whole different thing with the original creature.
When it starts walking down the hill, I couldn't figure
out for long it's why it did it, because it
could have went the other way. But it starts walking
down the bybank, and the little one takes off walking
in front of it. Then you start to see four
leggs walking to the front of the up half the
(18:07):
size of the body of the of the of the
original creature. Well about that time, it's another signature that
goes left to right. It's a lot bigger than the
the original creature, and it's cutting across the screen. It
stays on the same parallel all the way across all
three of the creatures that we think we're seeing. That
could be more than three, but I'm just saying three.
(18:29):
They go behind a big tree and they angle off
up up the bank and off at angle at a
forty five or so down the creek away from us,
and disappeared just as fast as you think you know
they could. And all this is happening while we pulling
the vehicle up when they were walking off. We're getting
(18:49):
this on recording, and it takes a while through the
looking and looking and looking, going back and looking at
this stuff. Well, you really don't know how many signatures
because different oranges panning the camera, we could get little
spots and stuff. We don't know how many, but we
definitely seen three different creatures walk off, a middle sizing
(19:10):
or or the original one, a smaller one and a
bigger one walks off. Well, uh, we we eased up,
like I say, and then when they walked off, we didn't.
We just kept on ease on off. We didn't stop
and try to cut them off or do anything. We
just seized on off. Were the people behind us sized off?
(19:32):
Behind us, We just stayed going ten mile an hour.
We just throwling along the way. We didn't see them
no more. And uh, we just kept on going and
we went made around, went by the main thoroughfare and
by the Buffalo fields, and we throw them out. There
(19:53):
went two or three more places. We got on about
midnight or so, and people say, well, how you know
we seen something? We knew we had something, but we
didn't know what we had, and it didn't dawn on
us till till later. It didn't dawn on me just
a while back that we probably if they were rushed us,
(20:14):
we we haven't got it may and I got out
of there. If it had been more of them and
they were rustius, we may not even got out of there.
It's just you didn't know because they didn't They didn't
do aggression, but they were in a little like a
group situation where they just couldn't break and get out
of there without losing a little one or something. And
(20:38):
it was a whole different. The thing had had a
showed intelligence and patience, and you know, it thought it
was here that send me something yards when I went
over and looked at it. It's no anvy at light
was reaching them from a car. The only reason why
we got them was because of the family in the
woodline along that creek. It was just a small croup
(21:00):
of rois along the creek. You couldn't see. You could
see the vehicle through that, but you couldn't see. There's
no way it thought we was gonna see it. If
it hadn't, we hadn't had time. It was we've been
no way it let us drove right on by, and
they thought it we were gonna drive on by, but
we did, and that's for it's to our luck. It
(21:21):
stayed put and stayed out there for a long time
and stayed kind of froze. I guess it was hung
out with having a little one running around there and
a bigger one. Uh, there were several. Like I said,
there at least three signature walked off. It was it
was something to behold for for we would we were
(21:43):
now to look for, you know, thinking we're gonna get
this stuff. But we thought we might seek something, but
it was it was something, uh that we didn't intend
to see. Didn't realize what kind of danger we could
be in. But it's there, It's real, and it's it's
in the a L B. A is a frown place.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
Or you were there with the intentions of looking for
these things. He had been there before. So were you
actively looking for dog Man or Bigfoot or both?
Speaker 1 (22:15):
No, I didn't believe in dog Man.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
You one said we was on We on the We
was just maybe Bigfoot because we had him stopping around our.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Cabin right and and we went with the intention of
basically looking for sasquatch. We have we were researchers. Is
somewhat we do go out with periodically, and we do
go out here in Louisiana and a lot in Alabama
(22:45):
and We've had many encounters and I've had an actual
sighting myself. Joe hadn't no the I didn't believe in
dog Man, but this everybody said it is. But you know,
and it took me a month to go ahead and
(23:08):
decide and admit that this is a possibility. And there
was something on it was carrying something as well. I
couldn't see what it was at first. It looked like
it had memory glands, and I kept saying, there's something
on his chest. Even when I was filming, I was
(23:30):
trying to document. I don't know what it is. I'm
letting people make that decision on their own what they
think it is. And that's that's the reason we want
to put it out. There's there's things out here, and
(23:51):
we want to make people aware. Instead. You hear the
researchers and people that go out and look, oh, I've
got this big catch and I've got this on film
and I've got a picture, but they never show it right,
So why not? Why not? Who are you saving it for?
Speaker 3 (24:11):
I mean, here here's the situation. Like I mentioned to
you guys, I saw some clips you know that you
shared on another podcast. Yes, there's one or two possibilities here,
and that's why I really wanted to talk to you
guys and really hear your, you know, side of the
(24:33):
story of what actually happened, because you were the ones
that were there, You're the ones that got the video.
You know the story better than anybody. This is either
someone intentionally hoaxing, in my opinion, or you guys captured
(24:55):
thermal footage of a dog man in the LBO.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Right.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Well, not only that man, it's three of and it's
clearly moving at the same time. I don't know if
you can. I can see some footage that you can
see it maybe better. But you know, I thought about
the same thing I said, Autem, I said when I well,
we I said, either we got something. If this thing
ain't got tennis shoes on, we got something. Yeah, exactly
(25:24):
what I thought. It ain't the hoaxing. This funny word
our misidentification. If it's somebody over there, that's just misidentification.
That's not next thir to say it. We really saying, uh.
But what we didn't see, Matt. We didn't see no
rifle scope or gun on it. We didn't see no
(25:48):
headlight on it. And what what anybody in the right
mind would let somebody put up here with a car
and practically the only thing you see, if they could
even see that which I've been told that a creature
can see it, sit there that long with cooking at
the window with something without thinking they might get shocked him,
(26:08):
says bust some rednecks right here. It was nobody out
that night to speak of, because the weather was so bad.
The park was practically shut down, and the wind was
still howling, and it was you know, rain was coming
and going. But whoever would to sit there and let
(26:30):
us shine? I wouldn't. No, I wouldn't have sit the
pearl player and took a chance on may not getting shot.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
No, there ain't no way.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
No, we're in the middle of nowhere. It's ten o'clock
at night, we're in between storms. There was actually one
that hit a few hours later, and did they were
calling for softball size pill and there was there had
(26:58):
been one hundred mile an hour when who in their
right mind wouldn't have been out there in the middle
of nowhere waiting for a car to come by.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
There was no one on the road.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
That's the thing. You guys were originally going up there
for a meet and greet, but the meet and greets canceled, So,
like I mean, if the meet and greet was still
going on and happening and everything, maybe, But this situation
and the reason for folks that are listening, the reason
I'm leaving everything off the table besides either this is
(27:33):
the real deal or this was a hoax, is because
I mean, the signature, it speaks for itself. I can
see it clearly. It can only be one or the other.
This isn't a misidentification. This thing's on two legs and
has a canine shaped head to it.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
Yes, you could see you could actually see a snout
yeah on it when I was looking through the lens.
Speaker 2 (27:59):
That's six things minutes of total footage of this thing,
not just we only could just put up a couple
high spots, you know that the turn and then the
walk off. But it's sixteen minutes of it. You know,
every time we would hand off the camera or move
r outside the truck, or just it was you know,
(28:21):
time you look back, it was, don't move. It already
spun around and that like it was trying to take
care of a little one that wanted to run around
and or something. And then it was just weird until
they all walk off. It took me. It took a
long time to see that. I said, uh, we see
(28:42):
the figure were driving off? She said, well, it's just
it's just there. Could we driving off? It looks that way,
so so no, it ain't. It's following the truck. If
you were driving away from a standing creature, it'd be
going away from you, not coming with you. Right, So
it's wrotting down the hill, which ain't no hill, aret
you It the bybank. I'm thinking, why would it want
to walk down that hill toward us? Less he wants
(29:04):
to draw our canchin And all the time I didn't
see the signature, that little one. It scooted off down
the hill from it just a little way, spied a
couple of steps to the woods, you know, And that's
what it did. It came down there and they both
walked off together. When they disappeared behind the tree, you
can see four legs walking two upright and then two
right and walking together. Well, I thought about the same
(29:27):
thing you're thinking about. So I knew after looking at
footage and stuff, it's another field right there behind the woodlines,
another field, and it's a little dump that goes from
the off the road out in the other field. So
I said, anybody's out here and they're heading the weather head.
If they got a car park somewhere, it's gonna be
(29:47):
right here, cause that's where you cut across from field
to field to field there.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
Right.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
It was nobody there, and it was nobody on the
road anywhere the whole town. We drove on and we
see this creature. We drove from miles and we didn't
see anybody. We got on the main trace, we on
overpass a buffalo field and there wasn't no other traffic
but one truck that we seen.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
Right, and the distance it was from the vehicle. What
was the whole purpose of it anyway?
Speaker 3 (30:18):
I mean, nobody knew that you were going to be
in that spot at that time and happened to be
looking in that direction with a thermal camera. There's no
way anybody could have planned that out.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
No, there's no way. And what is so interesting about
this is it had a way out and didn't take it.
It just stood there.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
You know, it had a responsibility matter or it would
have took off if it would have been even a
deer or anything that they were just took off, you know,
before we ever got there, it could have took off right,
but whatever reason, and I'm thinking it's because it had
responsibility of more than one there they you know, he
(31:00):
just couldn't leave it in the all. But and when
it around the corner, it has a good couple of
hundred yards or longer seeing our headlights coming, and it
could have easily got either there. It could have easily
hunt her down, it done any of those things. Oh,
it was just when we first seen it was just
(31:21):
like you could see I outline. But it's real deal,
and if you had to have our quality scope, you
would have never known what you know, you you wouldn't
have thought you would have anything if you'd even seen
it out, especially on a bad night. But what it
tires around is like I kind of not thinking like
it's like it's like it has covered on its back
(31:44):
and none on the front. It's kind of like thing.
But when it turns around and steps down that hill
and steps in behind another limb, it just lights up
with tumble and it just you know, you've seen the film,
you know a little bit of crip of it, and
it's remarkable to me. I said, that's the reason why
we miss them so many times we're thinking there. I
(32:06):
don't know if it's because the hair or behind limbs
or what. But it didn't have to even to step
out behind them limbs, but it did. If it was
limbs that was stepping out behind it didn't have to
step and come down the hill and show itself the
big creature in the back. You never seen one of
maybe a little bitty a little bitty spots on the
ground or or you know, a little bitty signature. Could
(32:28):
it starts walking walking.
Speaker 1 (32:30):
Off right and it's on the other side of the
creek as well. So and who knows how much water
was actually even in that creek that it was divided
from us.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
And plus the wind was blowing big trees in the roof.
We had to cut one of our party we had
to cut the top out of a tree to get
them in.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
And then when we went back to Reconnord, you could
see with the gravel and the rocks, the stuff it
washed across the road. He rained so hard, so that
between that that bad weather and the rest of while
we were gone in there had spots that walked across
the road. There's some bad spots of you know, washed
the road out in spots.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
Yes, there was massive flooding and everything there. There was
massive flooding from Memphis all the way into LBL that
we could see that anyway, and also on the way back.
And it did take us a month to go back
and recon because you couldn't get into the LBL or
(33:38):
even near it due to all the flooding and the
severe weather they had been having that entire time. We
didn't go back and even bother to try and recon.
The next morning, we were just trying to get out
of there with the break in the.
Speaker 2 (33:53):
Weather, and we'dgion hours away.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
Yeah, and you and the thing is, you couldn't even
walk back there in away with with all the mud.
There's no way you could even get back in there.
And if there was anything any kind of evidence there,
it would have been all washed away anyway. So it
was pointless.
Speaker 3 (34:15):
So after you got back and really looked it over
and everything, I mean, what did.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
You think, That's when it really hit and kicked in.
On the film, you hear us stammering. Our words are mixed.
We tried our best to lose the thing. You always
think that you're prepared. I always get out of the
truck with with a recorder running. I've learned all of
(34:40):
that because that's what you miss and but you're never
prepared when when it hits. When it's there, it's there,
and you never know when when we got back, that's
when it really starts sinking in. It took me a
month to even say I knew that it was some
(35:01):
kind of cryptid and I kept saying, hey, this is
a big foot, this is a big foot, and our
end just argued with me, No, it isn't, No, it isn't.
We had a few people look at.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
It, lots of people were telling us different things.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
Yes, that it was a big foot something I said it.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
Was nobody, you know, they immediately people thought bigfoot.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
And then.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
The night we first got it, it was like one
or two points in the film is like a signature
would come up beside his head, like sticking up like ears,
and it it took so many different looks and when
you go second by second in that frame, just pushing
it up a little at the time, that think that
thing moves a lot more than we ever thought it did.
(35:47):
We didn't. We didn't realize it was moving as much
as it was Uh, we didn't realize it had multiple
ones there for for going on into the fifteen and
a half minutes to decided ease all if if it
could have got real bad, real quick, if if they
decided to do anything, we lost people at night, if
(36:10):
not all of.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
Us, that's a scary part. And we're still I mean,
I've had I had one sighting already, but to even
conceive of a dog man. It took me a month
to even just entertain the idea. And I looked over
the film oh over one hundred times, and I'm still
(36:32):
actually processing it all Because if you believe in one
cryptid how can you not believe in the rest. That's
the conclusion I've come up with.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
And we both took the attitude that we didn't want
to say it was any particular thing. You make up
your own mind. And the more we did, and the
more people told us what they thought they were saying, oh,
and it just it just got it just got to
be in that aaring it down in your mind will
if it's a human, it'says this and this, Well, I
(37:04):
walk over and get seventy yards away, and I'm taking
pictures of myself with her at the truck with the
thumber looking at me, and you can still see my
ball cap on my head. You can see the phone
in my hand when I'm holding it up trying to
click the pictures and stuff. You see these signatures of
tell tale stuff, and it's that far over there and
(37:27):
it's just completely different. I don't know for the size
of it, but the next the big creature that comes
out at the last is a lot bigger than it,
and uh, and the other one's half as big as
you know of that signature. Uh. When I compared what
I thought, it was pretty close, which I'm six two
(37:47):
and I was pretty close the same size it could
have been, Like it's a lot more bolt up than
me though. And the other thing it did too, if
you see it, kind of it kind of bowed up
when it turned around and throw his chest out and
his head back like he was kind of like, well, no, here,
you finna get You're fin to find out right here
I am. And that's attitude it took like that let
(38:10):
us known it wouldn't it wouldn't play it right.
Speaker 1 (38:14):
It's the thought of what could have possibly happened if
we would if he would have pursued that towards the creek.
That's my concern. That's the thing that I worry about.
And and we're presenting this to the public. We're not
(38:34):
trying to convince anyone. We're not going to defend it.
Here's the evidence. You decide for yourself. Is how we're
presenting this.
Speaker 3 (38:48):
I mean, I would love to say that you got
amazing thermal footage of a bigfoot and LBL, but whenever
I look at that thermal, uh, I mean, I see
this now, I see what I believe our ears sticking
up on the top of the head, and it's just
you know, the wrong profile.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (39:11):
You know, you guys mentioned that, you know, you used
to listen to the Old Show and everything, so you
know that we've been talking about OLBL for a long time.
And oh yeah, you know, I've seen a few tracks
being cast and lots of anecdotal stories, but I ain't
never seen nothing like this.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
Nobody.
Speaker 1 (39:33):
You know.
Speaker 2 (39:35):
It almost seems like you need to be this big
shot to catch something like this, but really to everyday
people catch stuff. But uh that's you know, you catch
stuff and now you're able to present it a little
bit since of the internet, you know, years ago when
you was running the thing and it was very little
the information that people was something was happening out there,
(39:57):
but you weren't able to get a hold of it
as much as you are now. And I think that's
the way. It ain't just happening to one person. We
didn't pick and choose we were out there. We put
ourselves out there. If this, if this place hadn't, if
we hadn't went on, we wouldn't have gotten nothing. If
they'd have had your outing, we would have been over
at it and probably wouldn't have gotten nothing and never
(40:20):
went out even looking. You know, just lots of weird
things had to line up for this to happen. One
thing has been persistent, even in the weather. It's kind
of bad to keep on going and then go out
that night when the weather broke. I wanted to show
the man a thermal. We just got it for two
months and we've been out several times working with it,
(40:44):
trying to learn it. I had just I have. I
could step up my back door and say over one
hundred yards and I was looking at animals across the river,
and on bad nights you couldn't see as good as
you could on good nights and you know cold front
is you could see how animals were yarding up and
then they would they would be you know, just different
(41:05):
things you pick out when things that's happening. And I said,
if they yarded up through this hunker down, through this
bad weather and it had been lightened up, we might
catch a bunch of stuff on the move tonight. We
all thinking that mentality, and we didn't get out of
the We didn't get out going good. We'd seen twenty
five deer and then every feel you went by was
(41:27):
fifteen ten, two, three diotes. I mean everything you don't
normally see. Uh, you see them, but you don't see
that many of them. They were there and they were
out moving well.
Speaker 1 (41:42):
And the thing is is you hear the stories of
like LBL and just in different areas. Okay, here's the proof,
here's here's the evidence. This is what we're trying to
present instead of the stories. This is what we're trying
to do. I'm tired of the stories. I want to
(42:05):
see proof.
Speaker 3 (42:06):
So what's some of the feedback that you guys have
gotten since you put the video out? What what sorts
of things are people saying.
Speaker 1 (42:15):
A lot of a lot of positive feed that that
actually people are afraid of it. We have noticed clinch start.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
It took us a long time to get get somebody.
It was so shaky. We was wanting to get it,
you know, cleaned up best we could before we presented it.
It's some kind of signature on it, so it wouldn't
just leave us before we ever got it going. Oh
and because these things, you know, seem to tend to
(42:49):
change hands quite often.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
Sure, it just it also seems the ones that you
look to to try and do something with it, they
don't know what to do with it. It is thermal.
It's all new to them. Uh do you If we
hadn't been out with this thermal for two months prior,
(43:12):
we might not have caught this right. You have to
know your equipment.
Speaker 3 (43:16):
There's a big learning curve on those.
Speaker 1 (43:19):
Yes, yes it is.
Speaker 2 (43:21):
You can't say them, and you got to adjust it
a little bit to make it perform them. You know,
we've got those, you know it. You know, I really interested,
but I was looking for us you know. Uh, visual
sightings is my thing, you know, and I'm thinking, you know,
(43:42):
just kinda wanted food with it. And now I'm gonna
just say it's all he said, you know, was visual
sightings was his thing and not thermal. But most nine
times out of ten, if you've got visual sightings, what's
first thing people want? They want recordings of it, right,
And so that speaks for that. And then the other
(44:03):
fella said, well, I ain't got no scale to it.
It might be this, and it might be that. Well
out of the outside chance, it might be a dog person,
And just should you be if you at another game,
wouldn't you be more interested in this? Just shutting it
down right there? But I didn't fight him for it.
I ain't say any more about it. We quit talking
(44:25):
and that went on about our business. But I'm just
thinking myself, if you really into the subject, it shouldn't
be about that you called it or you didn't catch it.
It shouldn't be worried about the subject. But that's just me.
Speaker 1 (44:40):
And it is carrying something. Some say it's a baby,
some say it's you know, maybe some game or something.
There's something going on in the abdomen area. So if
anyone gets a chance to even see the clips of
the thermal, look and decide for yourself what you think
(45:00):
it is. The heat signature is there. We just don't
know what it is. I have racked my brain. I've
looked at it under magnifying glamps and everything else. Like
I said, we're just here to present the evidence and
you decide what it is.
Speaker 3 (45:21):
Now, where do you guys have got this stuff posted
up for people to go look at?
Speaker 1 (45:26):
Okay, well, the Dogman Project dot com, the North American
dog Man Project has it posted on their main web page,
and also it is on YouTube. There is clips and
an audio recording of the account, and there is some pictures.
(45:49):
There is a sketch from uh Sybylla Irwin. Like I said,
look the side for yourself. Yeah, it's on a few
channels that you're able to see it on. But like
I said, on the dog the North American dog Man
Project is your best bet where you can actually go
(46:11):
and look at it and look at it several times.
Speaker 3 (46:15):
Now, are you guys associated with that group or are
they just working with on this? Okay, No, it was.
Speaker 1 (46:21):
It was the first person that was actually willing to
try and help us. We were having a hard time
getting just even trying to get somebody to stabilize it,
and we decided we had it worked on a few times.
People that you thought that could help you and that
(46:44):
you looked for guidance offered nothing. So we found ourselves
on our own for for a couple of months, and
Jody Cook took an interest and decided to help us.
I went h through a few people, and he got
(47:06):
a hold of it and wanted to see it and
realized that hey, it was the real deal, and he
followed through with it. He's been very supportive. It's been
on coast, He went on coast to coast and he
discussed it in an air of view and some different
(47:26):
things like that. We've been asked to go on some
different things. We're happy with just the even the way
it is. We're just having a good time. We're just
out enjoying ourselves. And like I said, we just wanted
to present the evidence and everyone to decide for themselves.
We just wanted to show the world instead of okay,
(47:48):
you're tired of the stories. Here it is. That's all
we can do. And I don't know if that'll ever
even be enough.
Speaker 3 (47:58):
Probably not, unfortunately, it probably not.
Speaker 1 (48:05):
Yeah, like I said, uh, don't go chase after him, please,
We're this is something that has really sunk in with us.
Because we do go out to some private properties and
different things like that, and and some different areas like
(48:28):
in Alabama as well and here in Louisiana, and we
come pretty close to these creatures at times in experiences.
And this was a good wake up call for us.
Speaker 2 (48:44):
This time.
Speaker 3 (48:46):
Well, now you know you mentioned it, so I got
to ask. I got to hear about the bigfoot sighting.
Speaker 1 (48:52):
Oh. I was camping at Alex Smith Park up at valk, Arkansas.
It was in two thousand, I believe twenty nineteen. We
were up there. It was a camp out. It was
(49:13):
mainly women.
Speaker 2 (49:15):
It was with.
Speaker 1 (49:17):
A small channel a woman that she is no longer
doing it. And they had come up the night before.
They were coming up. We've camped right by the lake.
They were running up the hill at night. We would
go into our tents like about ten o'clock at night,
and we conversed back and forth. It was a full moon.
(49:41):
It was September. It was one hundred and seven degrees.
It was hot, yes, hot, do you know how hot
it gets up over there? And it was running through
the They were running through the camp, smashing your tents down.
I was laying in my tent about the third time,
(50:02):
as it ran through, it smashed a little all the
way down on my face, and it startled me that time.
And she said, pat, get out of your tent. Get
out of your tent. So I got out of my
tent and she said, come on, let's walk to the
(50:22):
woodline here, and there was a bank there that you
could see down into the water. You've seen eyeshine all
down through there. You can see it. And she said,
tell him to stop it, just tell him to stop.
And it were and I had no problems the rest
of the night. Now, the following night, Joe had come
(50:45):
up and he was staying in another tent and he
was staying in the tent next to me, and it was,
like I said, it was a full moon. I had
been out with the girls visiting and one of the
girls shared a tent with him. When she had come up,
(51:05):
and she left the light on. She couldn't get it out.
He was asleep. Joe was asleep in the tent, and
I watched one crawl up between the tents and to
reach out and to touch Joe, and it was crawling, actually,
(51:27):
and I couldn't help myself, and I had to try
and speak to it. And it stopped, and it backed up,
and a few minutes later it cried, slowly crawled and
reached out and touched the tent where he was at.
He was sleeping right up against the tent, snoring. And
(51:52):
I said something again, and it disappeared. I could see
the I could see the hair off the arms. I
could see a side profile of the face. It was black,
It had shorter hair on top. It had probably two
(52:13):
inch hair three inches hanging off the arms. It was
ugly from what I could see. And it backed off
and that was the end of it.
Speaker 3 (52:29):
What did you say to it?
Speaker 1 (52:31):
I said, they always say I want a pet one No,
I just said, I said, hey, what are you doing here?
Speaker 3 (52:39):
Come here?
Speaker 1 (52:39):
Let me see you just just talking. I had worked
with horses and things like that, so I was used
to talking to the animal. So I was trying to
lure this thing up to talk to it. And I
didn't scare it off totally at that time, but because
it did come back act. But the second time after that,
(53:03):
it never came back.
Speaker 3 (53:06):
Do you think it was the same one that was
running through camp.
Speaker 1 (53:11):
I'm not sure there was more than one. That night
they were there was a camper there was jiggling the
camper knob. You could hear it over by the I
was over by the camper, so I could hear it
moving by the camper. I think there was numerous ones
through there that night. It was more than one. I
(53:32):
do know that.
Speaker 3 (53:34):
And Joe's over there saw on logs.
Speaker 1 (53:37):
Yeah, he was a sleeping camper was to date the
sleeping camp the sleeping camper, the sleeping camper that was Lunam. Yes.
And and they had said there was a good possibility
of even possibly even having a sighting there because at
that park itself that they're pretty is to the people,
(54:01):
and we have found that to be true. We have
camped there a few times after that, and you can
hear them at night and uh, hollering and different things.
Speaker 3 (54:14):
You guys got plans to go back to the LBO.
Speaker 1 (54:18):
Yes, we're going to go up in a few months.
We're going to make another trip up. We're meeting up
with some friends again and hopefully uh and we're going
to go back to the site to see what's going on.
We're having some we are having someone look at it
(54:42):
to get their opinion and let's see what they come
what they have to say. About it that they will
be there during that time and go from there.
Speaker 2 (54:52):
You know, I like to get out and ride that
place because we there's a lot, there's lots of territory
there and we have very little knowledge of it. And
it's a lot of road nets. So you can get
out and go. You just have to be careful and
getting in war shafts and things, because some of them
roads get get kind of hairy down in there in
some of them places. But I look forward going back
(55:16):
and as much at night as getting out and see
stuff during the day too, you know, uh and researching
some more to just getting out and looking around the
around the place. And you know, if we had a
chance to see tracks at the boat ramps and stuff,
you know, if the water ain't too high, which is
probably gonna be too high this time, we would get
(55:40):
out and do some of that too. But we look
forward going back. Now. We do a lot of this
with our friends because we're out being out with our
friends too. It's just just that we get together and
we'll we'll ride and do you know, do night ventures.
And Matt most of us, she says, you know, we've
been close, she sayings, now they've been close to us more.
(56:02):
We hear them around our camper, we hear them around
our tent. If we intent with a lot of times
around the you know, they come up and do the
It's the best way to let them come to you.
If you have your you have your you know, brothers
about meet more or or not necessarily meet one. But
you know what I'm saying, it's better off let them
come to you.
Speaker 1 (56:22):
Yeah, Well, we put ourselves out there too, and if
you can go out in Louisiana, you could pretty much
go out anywhere.
Speaker 3 (56:31):
That That is true. That is very true.
Speaker 1 (56:35):
We've had our share, We've had our camper shook once
and I love putting audio out and we've had like
several encounters and experiences and things like that. But this
was this last time was totally different. This is a
whole different ballgame here.
Speaker 3 (56:58):
Well, I appreciate you guys coming on telling the story
behind the footage and everything, and I'm definitely gonna talk
to you some more whenever we get off the air here,
and I definitely want to have you guys back on again,
if to talk about this in the future, but also
to hear about those other experiences, encounters and things that
you've had over the years.
Speaker 1 (57:19):
Okay, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (57:21):
Yeah, thank you, Matt.
Speaker 3 (57:24):
