All about bingeing the Conjuring universe and all the Films in the Conjuring series.

WooHoo!!!!! Wassup my bingeing Peeps? It’s June 8th and it’s “ConJuneing” time, yes a little play on words for us to explore the Conjuring Universe. I usually do my horror binges in October, but since the latest Conjuring movie CONJURING: The Devil Made Me Do It was just released on HBOMAX on June 4th.

Now if you’ve been listening to my previous episodes of Bingetology, you have a pretty good idea of what kind of binger I am…. I go in deep. If this is your 1st time listening, let me explain….

Sometimes, depending on what I decide to binge, I have my methods. For example, for TV shows, if I learn that a particular show is ending, like Pose on FX which is currently showing it’s series final season, and I have yet to watch Pose, I will start watching it from the 1st ep of 1st season until I get thru all 3 seasons, before it’s too late.

I use this method with films and movies as well, for example, when the new Mortal Kombat was released on HBOMAX on 4/23/21, before watching it I went back and watched all of the previous Mortal Kombat movies and tv shows and I played the video games, then I watched the newest film.

So you see, it takes time, but it’s so much fun and I love bingeing this way. I’m still working my way thru the Godzilla Universe…… and have many other bingeing universes planned.

But back to Conjuring….. before I watch the new movie on HBOMAX, I already know that there are a lot of the Conjuring movies I have not seen. The only ones I’ve watched before starting the universe was The Conjuring, the 2013 film.

So I started to binge the Conjuring universe last Friday with the first movie if you want to watch it in chronological order based on all the films in the series, which is the best way to binge them and makes for a horrifying viewing experience. There are 8 films total, including the most recent one.

 They are: in chronological order:

1.   The Nun (2018)

2.   Annabelle: Creation (2017)

3.   Annabelle (2014)

4.   The Conjuring (2013)

5.   Annabelle Comes Home (2019)

6.   The Curse Of La Llorona (2019)

7.   The Conjuring 2 (2016)

8.   The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (4 June 2021 on HBO Max)

If you want to watch them in the order they came out in the theaters, they are:

1.   The Conjuring (2013)

2.   Annabelle (2014)

3.   The Conjuring 2 (2016)

4.   Annabelle: Creation (2017)

5.   The Nun (2018)

6.   The Curse Of La Llorona (2019)

7.   Annabelle Comes Home (2019)

8.   The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do it (4 June 2021 on HBO Max)

I watched The Nun, last Friday and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Great story, awesome special effects and it keeps you on edge…. Watch it in a dark room. I’ll watch Annabelle next and will finish the rest of them by July 4th, because that’s how long the newest Conjuring will be streaming on hbomax. The good news is that you can watch all of the movies in the list on hbomax. If you don’t have hbomax, watch them on Tubi or prime, appletv, and others but u may need to pay.

There you go, ConJuneing  should keep you busy this month. WooHoo!
