(00:02):
Powered by Riverside FM. Well, hello there and welcome.
We are the bitches of Dathavir. I'm Rachel.

(00:22):
I'm Jen. And yeah, we're excited to have
you here today. What are we talking about,
Rachel? We are so excited.
We are a print media podcast andwe talk about all things High
Republic. We are currently in the phase of
phase three of the High Republic, kind of like in the
middle somewhere. But most importantly, we are
currently talking about Tears ofthe Nameless by George Ban.

(00:46):
Oh my God, can we talk about howbeautiful the cover is?
It's. Yes, absolutely.
Insanely gorgeous and I love it so much.
I can see half of it and it's beautiful.
Yeah, yes, that's perfect. Look at that, everyone.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous girls I love.
Yeah, this artist is Corey Brinkley.
Brinkley, sorry. And this artist did.

(01:09):
Path of Vengeance and Path of deceit.
Which are also some of my favorites.
I kind of figured it was the same artist because the style is
the same, but I love it. Yeah, it's so good.
Well, yeah, welcome to the podcast.
We're excited to talk about that.
But before we get into Tears of the Nameless, we talk about Star
Wars news. Do you have anything fun this
week? I do have a couple things, so my

(01:31):
first one is there's new Lego Rebuild the Galaxy episodes
coming out in September, and we're gonna get a new villain.
Do you want the villain's name? Yeah.
OK, so the villa's name is. I don't know how to pronounce
this, Itis Solitus. And the best part is, it's
voiced by Dan Stevens. No.
Are you serious? Yeah.

(01:52):
I am so excited by this. I am so excited and it sounds
like they're somehow going to bring Darth Jar Jar back.
So Ahmed Bess is going to be back voicing him like.
I always want Darth Jar jar in every context.
Me too. And of course they did a Lego
Star Wars actual Lego set special in honor of the new

(02:12):
episode, so that's coming out soon.
So lots of fun Lego things in the future.
Yay. How about you?
Do you have anything? I had two things.
One was, there's a big team up right now, a collab between
Coca-Cola and Star Wars, and they're making these sodas that
people can collect is what I'm assuming kind of the main point

(02:35):
is, Yeah. But they've designed it where
like the big packages, because Idon't, I don't know how much you
can buy them so low, but at least in the store, they're in
the big packages and it's all one character, which stinks, but
I also get it because then it's like, OK, you set one aside with
that character for your collection.
And the rest of them you drink if you're a Coca-Cola drinker,

(02:55):
and then you get another pack and hope for a different
character. So I get the concept and there
were a lot of characters. They only showed I feel like 5
or 6. But then I looked at the full
list and it was a lot. It is a lot.
It's crazy. OK.
The other piece of news it just it's super short, but I thought
it was funny. Is that Manny Jacinto at it was

(03:18):
a fan Expo. I want to say maybe Denver fan
Expo. Sorry if I got that wrong, but
he was talking about a deleted scene from the Acolyte and I was
like what? What?
What? Because he said too brutal.
And they too. Brutal.
Out and I was like, what on earth was this?
Yes. Apparently it was him as the

(03:39):
stranger, obviously. Just like bashing a Jedi's head
against rock over and over and over.
God. And I was like, the fact that
that exists somewhere out in theworld is crazy.
That's amazing. I hope they release that
sometime because that sounds intense just.
For us to like, see the deleted scenes, it's not like I want to

(04:02):
watch it. I get his head bashed in, but it
is just crazy to think about that they even contemplated that
being in Star Wars. Well, I do have a couple more, I
just don't want to say all the things in one go, but they came
out with a higher public chronological reader's guide and
it's all inclusive, including manga, comics, short stories,

(04:22):
middle grades, all seasons, phase one through phase three.
So go check that out. We are definitely going to use
that as a resource at some point.
Yes. Although there's some things we
just can't go back in time for. And there's the other thing.
Are you familiar with the Star Wars Unlimited card game?
So I am aware of its existence, but that is about the the most I

(04:44):
know. OK, OK, so there's this new card
game called Star Wars Unlimited. It's that relatively new and
like I've just been kind of likeabout it, except for this last
grouping called Legends of the Force and they actually have
High Republic characters. Stop.
I'm losing my mind. And so now I have to collect
every thing to get them because there's like marquion grow and

(05:05):
then there's a bar Chris sellinggeos.
I'm just like, I need that. I'm.
So excited it's like. A lot of times those.
Characters get left out of stufflike.
That I agree. Like we don't have a higher
Republic Coca-Cola bottle for a higher Republic character.
Sad, sad, sad, sad but. Really nice to hear.
Yeah. So is it a card game or is it

(05:25):
just collectors cards? Both so you can collect them and
also it's a card game. So as you like I am there's a
preset or presale boxed set there you have it that you can
purchase. And so I purchased that and what
basically they have are like these little booster packs.
And so each one has like 16 cards in it.
And within the 16 cards, you getan assortment of common,

(05:48):
uncommon, rare, legendary, etcetera cards.
And so like obviously you're going to have mostly common
cards, but there's going to be amixture of like the rare ones.
And so like you'll get a cool character and you're like, oh,
wow, this is a rare card. Or and then if it's like like a
foil rare card is like extra special.
But like it doesn't, they don't always correspond with being a

(06:10):
better card. A lot of the times they do.
Like I actually got the mythosaur creature and it's a
it's a legendary card and this is like giant monster.
And I was like, I can't wait to play this card and destroy
everyone with it. I love that.
That's awesome. So that's been pretty fun.
And then also I got the the signed edition of Charles Sewell

(06:33):
which came with postcards and I just wanted to show you these
postcards because they are so cool.
Like look. At these.
Amazing postcards. They all have different quotes
on the back. Yeah.
Do you want me to read them? I do.
OK, so here's Marky on row. Is he upside down?
No, he's not. Yeah.

(06:54):
Really, that chest and his is what is the force, an obstacle,
Just a thing in my way, Something to be, to be
destroyed. I am the only one who can do it,
and so I will. Wow, the confidence.
Yeah, Next up is Stellan, and there's his card again and his
says look up, look outward. The great sweep of the night

(07:18):
sky, the light of so many brightstars touching you all at once.
Through the through the time anddistance during journeyed varies
greatly. That is the Force and the wisdom
of the Jedi Order passed down through the generations.
Our forbearers found the good ways, the true ways.
We must honor them. Isn't that beautiful?
It was, I was like, I'm getting all choked up over here.

(07:40):
I really need Avars to just be like 2 words or else I'm going
to start crying. Go for it.
Hers is pretty short. OK, so here's the lovely Avar
and her says. What do you hear when you listen
to the force? It sings to us all.
We are each a melody within its great, all-encompassing
Symphony. What do you hear?
That's a really good. One I know.

(08:02):
Anyways, here we are. Beautiful cards.
Lovely, lovely. Charles Soule to the rescue.
I love that. Was that the like Trials of the
Jedi kit? So if you emailed Charles
Sewell's website there someone who's handling his account would
if you emailed and said hey I did a pre-order for a book, they

(08:23):
would get a a postcard with eachpresale copy.
So how many presales did that do?
I love it. That's awesome.
So I have the kindle and audio and then the regular books.
OK, yeah, I've been seeing a lotof people post those for Trials
of the Jedi that they obviously pre-ordered.
So I I wondered about that. But it's so cool they offer it

(08:44):
for like any pre-order. I know totally.
It's so kind. That's awesome.
That was some good Star Wars news.
That's it. I'm not gonna talk about
anything else. Well, not anything else.
I think we're talking about tears.
Oh yeah, that. Yeah, I'm super excited about
this book because I knew it was gonna feature Wreath, and it's

(09:07):
been a while. I feel like we've gotten like
little things about what he's been up to.
Snippets and like a chapter hereand there.
Yeah, but it's been very minimaland I love this character, so I
was really excited to see that it's gonna be like about him.
But otherwise I tried to not look at what this was about at
all, so that I would be just completely in the dark.

(09:29):
Oh yeah, for sure, that's valid.Other than like, Tears of the
nameless, I mean. Doesn't sound incredibly happy.
That's my only thoughts about this book.
I mean High Republic mates. OK, OK, But I feel like it's
getting worse. It's progressively getting
worse. It started with like light of
the Jedi or whatever, and it's just been like darkness, death,
fear, terror. Totally.

(09:50):
Like, when will it end? Oh yes.
So yeah, it seems like we're going to cover the prologue
chapters through chapter 13, right?
Yeah, we're doing it. Yeah.
And George, man, I wish I had looked up everything that he's
written for Star Wars. Obviously a lot of people are
going to know that name because he's such a significant part of

(10:12):
this universe, but I was very excited to see him here because
I feel like the ones I can remember were some of the ones I
really enjoy. I was like, he also did Eye of
Darkness, right? The adult novel in this Face.
Yeah. Yeah.
So I really like his writing style and especially like the
difference between like young adult ish and adult.

(10:33):
I was very curious to see how hewould handle and go about
writing this story. Yeah, that's what I really like
about having the like young adult, adult comics and middle
grade. They all have such different
tones, but they're all in the same story, which is.
Totally. Yes.
Well, in the prologue we are on Vixosif.
The first I was like, Oh my God,we're back.

(10:55):
I know I was like. And we're with Vernestra Rowe,
and I was like that woman again. Here she is.
Apparently she's on this ricketyfalling apart Nile ship and
she's being chased by two Nile ships.
I was like, this can't be good. Remember that time I said she
just keeps crashing? I was like, girl, I swear to God
if you crash this ship, you are making some bad decisions

(11:16):
throughout this whole thing. Oh my God, I know.
I was especially excited to see here because the last time we
saw Ernesto, she was on VIX O Cef the 1st and she was with
Belle Buryaga and they were talking about all the things she
saw with marquee on a row. And I was like, oh, where are we
going to go with this? But of course, she's like trying
to maneuver and knock it blown to pieces by these two Nile

(11:37):
ships. And like, like she does this
cool like dodge roll and gets one to crash and then the other
one she just evades. And I did like how quick and to
the point this chapter was. It was just like cool maneuver
flies into atmosphere and jumps into hyperspace.
Yeah, I know it was like the shortest prologue, but I think
it kind of like set up this not excitement so much, but like

(12:00):
almost anxiety of like her feeling.
I have to get to chorus on. I have to tell them what it is
that I saw. And so it's just this like
there's a word that I'm trying to think of and it's not quite
there, but it's just like anticipation that's.
Yes. So I feel like it did such a
good job of that. It was such a short amount of
information. And yeah, so we go to Chapter 1.

(12:22):
I was very excited for the name that pops up right away, which
is Amadeo. It's also.
Amadeo. I love Amadeo, this is the
padawan of Miro Locks and I was just excited to see them and
they're on a place that I don't remember us being before,
correct me if I'm wrong. Yeah, I don't think so.
OK, cool. And it's called Sethis.

(12:44):
Sethis Cethis one of those so good for a lisp to have to
pronounce that. And Amadeo is looking out on
what used to be a forest. And of course, that's because it
has all been killed by the blight.
So this is the third evacuation of a place he's helped his
master with regarding the blightbeing there.

(13:04):
That is insane. It's especially insane too
because I feel like we just saw Amadeo and Mirror on VIX OSEF 1
and they were helping with that situation and encountered the
Blight, I want to say for the first time there.
And so to go from like VIX OSEF to now we're on Sethist and
they've somehow in between then and now have gone and seen other

(13:26):
planets too. Just like what?
This is crazy. When it's starting to weigh on
him, like, oh, my God, a lot to process.
And he's a Padawan. He's not, you know, a fully
fledged knight. He's not a master or somebody on
the council. He's still essentially a child
and is getting used to how to deal with some of these heavy
emotions. But this is where we kind of see

(13:46):
the difference between him and like a master is that he hasn't
quite gotten there yet. And so he's sort of internally
struggling with that. But Master Locks does remind him
like, we're there helping people.
And I guess his master thinks like, so confidently that the
force is going to provide a solution for the blight.
And I'm like, I wish I felt thatway.

(14:09):
Totally me too. And like, it's so interesting
too, with Amadeo versus Miralox.Like Amadeo is almost like the
pessimistic, like grumpy old master, but he's not.
He's the Padawan. And Miro's like the upbeat like,
yeah, this is great. Like we're going to do it.
It's fine. Yeah, we're.
Home and. It's totally that's so good

(14:30):
Well, three RDC transport ships come into atmosphere and they
land. Both Amadeo and Miro are with
numerous evacuees from a settlement named Haven, and
they've put these people into a makeshift camp until the RDC can
then move them to a more permanent location, which
apparently is just an island South.
Yeah, they're not taking taking them off planet.

(14:50):
No, I know. I was like I get it.
But like isn't the ocean also something that the like can the
blight take the ocean or not? I don't know the answer to that
question. I believe yes, but what would
that look like? That's The thing is like, I
fully believe, yeah, because it is a, I mean, it's of the force,
but I just don't know how that would work with something that's

(15:10):
in motion constantly. Yeah, I don't know either.
I guess it would just dry up andturn to dust and collapse in on
itself. Maybe.
Maybe. I just think of a like a body of
water that eventually evaporate, evaporates and turns to like a
Dead Sea type situation. And what if it happened really

(15:31):
fast because the like spray of the ocean, like waves hitting
each other just spread it faster?
Oh God I hate this. Visual I know.
And then the people on the island are like, what's wrong
with the ocean shit. Oh my God, that's terrifying.
Yeah. So would highly recommend they
just get off the planet, but they're they're not.
And I understand this is probably a combination of like

(15:52):
what resources are available where they can take them.
Like it's just it's a lot. And if, if there is an option to
stay with someone's home, even if it's in a different spot, I
can see why that feels like a good option.
I'm just like so traumatized by the blight that I don't like it.
Yeah, it's it's terrifying. And especially because, like, if
you consider how many planets are being affected by this, like

(16:14):
the other option of like moving all these people multiple
planets to other places, like, where would they go?
Yeah, I can't even fathom that. Of course it's not taking any
refugees. Are you kidding?
It's going to be all the other like outskirt planets.
Yeah, it's like Coruscant's not actually doing too great either.
We're running out of places where people can evacuate, too.

(16:34):
It's terrifying. Totally.
And Amadeo wants to go to the island with the RDC and help
people set up these new homes. I'm sure to give himself a like
hopeful boost, you know? But Master Locks is like, no, we
need to report back to chorus onand just let the RDC handle it,
which is not what Amadeo wants to do.
But luckily, don't worry, the universe provides because they

(16:55):
actually hear a little girl crying and she's talking about
leaving people behind. And so they catch snippets of
this and of course, Jedi, they go over, go right.
I was like God, mind your business.
So I was like, that's when Jedi enter the chat.
Yes anytime somebody is experiencing emotions and
apparently her neighbors and some of their friends were being

(17:16):
too slow to pack up and what I'massuming is her father made the
choice to just leave without them which I under I totally
understand. It just made me laugh that it
was like, how slow are you moving?
I don't know, I feel like sometimes people like, I don't
know, this is my experience is well, one, our own pandemic, but
also zombie apocalypse movies and video games where people

(17:37):
don't believe bad shit is going to happen and they're they just
like drag their feet. They're like, no, it's not going
to happen. It's not really going to affect
me. It's like happening over there.
And then they just like drag their feet, drag their feet and
not prepare and all of a sudden here it is.
Yep, that is a solid point. And I guess that's just what
happened and she's upset about it because obviously these are

(17:59):
people she cares about and she can't understand probably why
her dad made that decision. So of course, Master Locks and
Amadeo are like, don't worry, we'll take care of it.
We're going to go try and help evacuate them too.
And my immediate reaction was like, no, I understand it's the
right thing to do. I do.

(18:20):
I get it. I know I didn't have good vibes
at the end of this chapter. I was like, gosh Dang it, who
we're going to lose now? Literally I was like, which one
of them is going? Well we had to chapter 2 and
luckily we don't go too far. It's just Amadeo and Miros,
they're like hacking through thevegetation with their
lightsabers. Apparently the main like like

(18:41):
Rd. that goes to the city was overcome with blightness so they
have to go through all of this like trees and whatnot.
And part of the reason why the poor group is struggling so
badly is because they don't havelightsabers and are like solely
like trying to cross all this dense like vegetation and
they're very difficult. But luckily, Jedi are on the way

(19:03):
with their lightsabers in hand. I was like, where's your
machetes? Come on.
Yeah, I know. But even still I imagine like
they're like using a machete to like a giant like Redwood tree
type. That's true.
As the light just gets closer and closer and they're still
chopping this fairpoint, Yeah, they get to go.
Ahead. Go ahead.
You go ahead. They get to the edge of a
clearing, which I can't hear that word without thinking of

(19:24):
Twilight. It's just ruined forever.
I'm so sorry. And about like 20 ish beings are
haphazardly running and they're like, what is happening?
So they try to get their attention and they're like over
here, over here. And one of them is just
screaming. It's comic Gikes, which in the
High Republic could be one of many things and zero of them are

(19:47):
good. So think of what's happening and
the worst is like, they're like,it's in the trees.
And then there's this sort of like Jurassic Park style
rumbling that's happening and the trees are swaying behind the
group. And I was like, my God, what is
about to come through this tree?Line right now, but you're right
about the Jurassic Park this because it's totally like this
giant reptilian flying creature that's just like careens through

(20:11):
the trees and is heading straight towards the group.
And of course the Jedi being Jedi leap right in front of the
creature and they like get it tolike fly up above the canopy,
which is I'm really glad that they are able to do this because
then they get a really good visual on the creature and then
they see that the creature's leghas been blighted and it is now

(20:32):
infected and even worse, this thing is flying around and it's
blighted scales are flying off. I'm like, Oh my God, they're all
going to get rained on by blightscales.
Exactly what I was thinking and it's leg is like hanging limply
off. So I'm like, how much is that
even attached? Is a leg piece just gonna fall
on somebody? And then they're blighted like,
Oh my God, so much they. Did it for real but of course

(20:54):
the creature swings back down atthe Jedi and then at the last
minute it's like Nope, don't want to eat that and then goes
towards the group of like 20 like people or so Amadeo sees
us. He does this like really crazy
like run and jump thing where helike jumps on the shoulder of
the creature and like does this flip and it turns around to then
hack his lightsaber at the creature and kills it instantly.

(21:17):
And then he like lands perfectlygracefully and all the the group
are just like, wow, a Jedi in action, of course.
Though that can't be that simple.
And as they're looking at the body, Master Locks realizes
another one is watching them like from the trees and is like
waiting to strike. And of course it runs for them.

(21:39):
And they end up doing this really crazy move that they
practiced in training and it like sends Mira locks just
flying towards. I loved it.
I know this visual of it becauselike to me it seemed like he was
just like lightsaber out like leaning towards this creature
right? Yeah, and the way I read it,

(22:01):
which cannot possibly be what itis because it's too ridiculous,
is like Amadeo going around in circles, holding his ankles and
just going faster and faster andfaster than he like, flies off
to her. There's just no way that's what
it was. But somehow.
I think that's what it was. What?
What is that like a Scottish Highland game where you like it

(22:23):
is circles, Yes, Yeah. Yeah, I couldn't remember what
it was called. I should have looked it up, but
I know that exists in real life and it just made me laugh.
And it also makes me think of Matilda.
I haven't seen that in. Life.
There's this whole scene where somebody does that, but she's
holding this girl by her pigtails to do.
It my God. And ends up seeing her flying
like it's the, it's, it's the same thing, guys.

(22:45):
I don't know. The fox has pigtails.
Yeah. So good.
Well, the creature dies and right away.
So spoiler alert, yeah, the Jediheard the Jedi.
The group's all like, hey, Jedi.Mira's like, no, no, I like
trying to wave them off. But anyways, he gets the group
to take off and they all leave the blighted creatures that I'm

(23:09):
sure are going to infect this whole area.
Any moments now? I know it's like great now, like
that space they covered, that's how much faster the blight is
coming now. Right.
Oh yeah, totally. And I know they all feel this
hope, right, since the Jedi did all that.
And it's like, yay. But there is this sort of
undercurrent of never feeling safe again that everyone is

(23:31):
feeling. And that's really.
It's so sad, but that's the hybrid public for you.
It is. They did give us a break though
for Chapter 3. I got really excited because the
first thing you see is Afy Hollow's name.
I know. Talk about character.
We haven't seen it forever. Or ever.
It's been a minute and she's living her best life, which

(23:52):
well. Yeah, makes me happy.
Well, do you remember the last time we saw her?
She was not in a good place, no.Yeah, well, so like the last
time we saw her was in the Talesof Light and Life, and she was
in a terrible mental state. Like she was so angry at the
Nile for what they did with Starlight Beacon.
And so she was on IRM and met upwith that.

(24:12):
What was it that what species? Oh, the Khalish captain, Captain
Marty. And they end up like making a
deal to like revamp the. The Vine Guild.
The Vine Guild, yes, And I was just so excited to see her go
from that to this, where not only she's doing so much better,

(24:34):
but also the Vine Guild is doingso much better too.
It is. It's like slowly but surely
building back up and it's givingher the sense of purpose, I'm
sure. And I mean outside of that, her
and the little crew of ours thatwe love so much, which of course
is Leox and Geo. Geo They've been helping the
Jedi where they can, and right now that looks like them

(24:57):
transporting to Jedi to the border of Nihil space on a
planet called Oysen. Yeah, I struggled with this name
too. It looks like hoysen sauce.
Yes, I agree. Right.
So I just said Oysen in my head, but I don't know if that's and.
They're like Oysinians. Yeah, yeah.
Yeah. OK, the planet.

(25:18):
Is unwell because it's not in Nine Hill space, but I guess
it's sister planet that it has atrade agreement with is So now
that they've been cut off from each other, they're both not
doing well because they don't have that trade of supplies
going on that they rely on to exist.
Yeah, it's pretty awful, but luckily the vessel is there to

(25:40):
guide the Jedi and a bunch of supplies to Oyson.
And I love that we get a visual on the Jedi that are here.
So like AFY goes to check on them and of course it's a
Padawan and Jedi Master duo. The the Jedi Master is a human
woman named Eve Buyer, while thePadawan is a Zeltron boy named

(26:03):
Zaff Mora. And I love the description for
Zaff. He's like this 16 year old boy
who's super tall and very muscular.
And I was like, OK, I I get what's happening here Afy.
Literally we've talked about this.
Anytime they start describing physical attributes in that way,
the assumption to me is that that character is like.

(26:23):
Oh, totally. So then I had to double check
how old AFY was and I was like, oh, she's 17.
I was like. OK, so it's not creepy.
It's fine, Yeah. Yeah, totally creepy for me.
She was not creepy for Aby. Conversation.
These are age appropriate feelings coming from Afy's side.
Wonderful. I like they're both meditating,
Zaf and Master Buyer, but Zaf senses her I guess and just

(26:47):
comes out of it and it's like, hey, he's.
He's so positive. Delightful.
It's interesting to see because, you know, there's so much of the
sort of this heaviness we've seen everywhere.
And so to have this padawan be like Betty for everything is
really interesting. Well, totally.
Especially because like, Afy's like, oh, you must be so thirsty

(27:07):
from meditating all the time. Here's some water.
And Zaff grabs it and he's like, this is the best water I've ever
had. And she's like, not only has he
done this with, I guess the water, but with everything else.
And AFY asks him about this. And I guess Zaff's like outlook
in life is to be appreciative and love everything because you
never know when it might go away.

(27:28):
So I was just like, OK. It's a really beautiful thought.
Like I deeply, it's kind of likebeing chill, right?
Where like I want to be a reallychill person, but it turns out
I'm not in any possible way. It's the same with this whole
thing of like every bit the Galaxy provides is wonderful.
And you know, there's a joy in being alive you have to find
every day. And I'm like, I really like that

(27:48):
thought. I really do.
I just, I don't think I can do it though.
I don't think I got it in me. So we'll, we'll leave it to you
and we'll just appreciate both your looks and your personality
because apparently they're both wonderful.
Does that mean this character isgoing to die at the end of the
story? I literally was like, all right,
say goodbye to Zaf. Let's just enjoy every moment we
have with Zaf now because you never know when it's going to be

(28:11):
to. Fit Well, Eve buyer finally,
like, gets up from her meditation.
And Eve and Afy began talking about the plan for what happens
when they get to Oyson. And the plan is they're going to
deliver both the Jedi and the supplies to Oyson and leave.
But they will come back when theJedi ready for a pickup later,

(28:32):
which apparently is a little bitdifferent than what AFY had
originally thought, which was just like, drop off the supplies
with the Jedi and head right back to Coruscant.
Yeah. So they're going to have to come
back. This what it is?
I was like, oh, that's not gonnabe good when you come back.
I'm just calling it now, but we'll see.
Well, we remember the last time, well, I think this was the last
time that they dropped Jedi off.It was the blade and barrage

(28:55):
and. We know how that went.
It's like just don't drop Jedi off anywhere, let them take care
of themselves cuz it's a bad story when it happens.
Cuz at the end of the day Jedi do need I was gonna say human
help, non force user help. There you go.
They do, I'm just sad for what Ithink might be coming for this
group. Totally see what happens.

(29:16):
I liked chapter 4. We get another character you
haven't seen in a minute. Yes, how I feel about this
character. Kind of upset.
Either way, it's Komak Vitus Vitus I can never remember.
I pronounce. It I can't I say Vitus just cuz
it's fun. OK, Vitus.
Either way, so Komak couldn't handle everything that happened

(29:38):
with Starlight Beacon and the events afterwards so he just up
and left left his poor padawan wreath to just spend on his own.
He had already just lost a master and was like well sucks
to be you, do it again. I know, I feel so bad for Reef.
I feel so bad. Anyways, so Komak is struggling.
He lost faith in himself and in the Jedi Order, no longer

(30:01):
believe the Galaxy is full of life and light and that the Jedi
can actually do any good. So he is in a very dark place.
Well, and he lost what was kind of like his best friend in Orla
Dorini. I love my computer.
Corrected it to Jared, Orla, Jared, Jared.
I think losing Orla, which is, you know, the just this person
he's known essentially his entire life, was just kind of

(30:25):
another thing to add to the list.
Who seemed to be like, not only his friend.
And we've seen this with Elzar too, right?
Where Orla's kind of like this. Very insightful, almost like the
therapist of the Jedi group. Yes, and I think Komak feels
like she was the only person whoreally got him and so now he
just without her he feels alone. How that?

(30:46):
Goes. Totally, and I love.
I was like, okay, what's this guy doing?
Like he's not a Jedi anymore. He doesn't know who he is.
Like what's he up to? He must be up to no good.
No, he's trying to look for answers on the nameless.
I was like, that's the most Jedithing I've ever heard.
Like so you're a waste seeker, okay.
Totally get out of here. I just like that.
Him and Wreath are on the same path without knowing it, I

(31:08):
totally agree. Right.
It's so good. But Komak, of course, is going
about it differently as he wouldright.
Like Komak was the more like outin the field where Wreath is
the. I want to be in the archives,
kid. And I love that Komak is in the
middle of this ancient ruins like yeah, what are you doing?
It's. So.
Cool. Yeah, there's, like, all these
rundown buildings that are covered in vines and Moss and

(31:30):
trees. Apparently the city had been
abandoned like 1000 years prior when the people had just up and
vanished one day. And I was like, oh, I love
mysteries. I was like, I love that it.
Reminds me of what is it called the Roanoke?
Is that what it is? That story of like an entire
colony that just disappeared andthey find like an etching on a

(31:52):
tree and that's like it. Love that kind of stuff.
I mean, that's terrible. I'm sorry.
Well, but also with the Mayans. Didn't the Mayans like up and
vanish practically? If so, I'm so.
Uneducated on it, I don't want to comment in case you know what
I mean, but that is super interesting if so, and I'm going
to look it up as soon as this isso because I love those kinds of

(32:12):
stories and I guess he's following the trail of a story,
right? Tell me more.
I know it's. Apparently like an.
Ancient civilization that had encountered entities that sound
a lot like the Nameless, and they're called the Ptolemites.
It's how I saw a lot like Dolomites in my.
Brain, I was like, this name sounds familiar And I was like,

(32:33):
Oh yes, mountain range in Italy. That's why I wondered, like, is
it actually? Pronounced like this, or am I
just doing that because of the mountain?
Yeah, I have no idea. But yeah, this whole journey of
like. Following the stories from this
group of people has taken him toseven different planets so far.
So now he's wandering through this other place and I I don't
know what it is specifically that brought him here, but I

(32:57):
guess for some reason he thinks there might be a connection
between the civilization he's looking at now and the
Ptolemites. Yeah, it almost seems.
Like so the, the civilization he's looking at now is the Thals
and that it sounds like they hadconnection with the Ptolemites
who were more of like a like they were from someplace else,
but had somehow came to Thal at one point in time.

(33:17):
And like maybe he had some like item information here.
So I want to know if he's right because he's like walking
through the abandoned ruins and finds this like ancient temple.
What's in the temple? And I mean.
I am deeply interested in like Force religions.
We just talked about all this cool stuff that we got to see on

(33:38):
Jeddah about that and how many different sects there are of
Force believers that just utilize it in different ways.
And he wonders if there was an old Force religion here of some
kind and what he can figure out about that.
And obviously he thinks that's agreat place to start.
So, so good. So good.
Love. Well in chapter 5 we go back to

(33:58):
wreath Silas and he is in a protective suit looking at a
blight infected hand. Cares Hand has made it to Wreath
Silas. Things are connecting now.
It's all coming together. Yeah, I like we found out
Jordana sent it his way, which is great.
It's a nice little connector piece there.
Totally. This is the.

(34:20):
Scariest part to me is that he'sfigured out the containment
field is not stopping the blight.
It has just slowed it down. And I was like, oh, I don't like
anything about that. So at some point it's going to
encroach. Yeah, it's going to eat the
whole containment field at some point and just like place it in
more. Containment fields just like
this is got progressively like aE What is like with those boxes

(34:43):
called those nesting dolls? We just like have progressively
like the Russian nesting dog. Yeah, I die.
I I really do. Wonder, though, like, what are
they going to do with it? They can't keep it there.
They're going to have to jettison it somewhere.
But how can you do that without knowing it?
Like if it's going to land somewhere.
Yeah, my. Thoughts are, they're probably

(35:03):
going to try and find an answer and then it'll be solved and
that's the end, everything will be fine.
And, you know, it kind of does feel like as everyone who's read
Trials of the Jedi is like precious.
I know. It's like, that's so nice that.
You guys know the answer. Yeah.
So he's got a whole ass lab now.He is like a lab manager for

(35:24):
this. They've given him this fancy
little place where he can work on samples of the blight and I
guess a bunch of different samples to work with, not just
from the blight, but like he's got nameless flesh that was
blighted. He's got Dream Gear samples that
were blighted and it's very cool.
I love this whole part of the story cuz I'm very interested in

(35:44):
this sort of virusy sort of thing that's going on and I'm
really curious to see what he's gonna find out.
My God, same. It's so.
Cool, what else? Where are we?
So that's when Wreath hears someone call out his name and
notices that is Amadeo. Amadeo has made it back to
correspond. Yay, he survived the blight
situation. So he allows Amadeo to put on a

(36:08):
protective suit and come on in. So they end up talking and
finding out that Amadeo wants tohelp Wreath with his research.
Love this wow. Yeah, Amadeo's.
Excuse is that he's seen the blight in person and might have
a unique perspective that might help.
Like Wreath kind of like struggles with Amadeo at first.
He doesn't quite trust Amadeo and even has like a little bit

(36:30):
of guilt for not being out in the field as much as she could
and actually seeing the blight and what it does in person.
But he kind of like recognizes that he's having these feelings
and pushes them aside and lets Amadeo like speak.
He tells Amadeo to tell him whathe has seen.
So this brings. About a very interesting sort of
hypothesis, right where I think it's Amadeo that kind of puts it

(36:54):
into actual words that they, they both think that the Blight
and the Nameless are connected somehow.
Obviously nobody knows how, and that's what Reef is trying to
figure out. Amadeo asked.
Like maybe is the Blight acting upon larger things AK you know,
whole ecosystem the same way thenameless are acting on

(37:14):
individual people. Is it the same exact mechanism
and it just looks different because it's on a larger scale?
And I was like, you know, it's feels common sense when you
actually say it. And you're like, well, yeah, I
guess we knew that, but I never thought of it quite like that
before. So for me was the.
Most impactful take away from this conversation was the seeing

(37:37):
it as the planets as ecosystems and then also seeing the planets
as how some planets have more like forciness to them than
others. And I had totally forgotten.
Like, yes, of course there are planets that are force rich
planets. And like, then I think about the
planet with the Inelians with the the really cool like Force

(37:58):
connectivity to their trees. Like, of course, that's a planet
that was blighted because, like,it's so rich in the Force, Yeah.
No, I love this whole conversation.
Yeah. They're thinking and it brings
up that question. Right.
Not only of, OK, well, is it thesame mechanism?
But if it is, does that mean they share a common ancestor or

(38:19):
did they originate in the same ecosystem themselves?
Totally love that. Train of thoughts too.
Yeah Oh my God, for sure. We're getting there.
We're getting to the place we were like, yes, guys, it's on
Planet X. So frustrating as a reader
sometimes. I was like guys, as well as in
like a little note, like little WhatsApp you.

(38:40):
Know yeah they're like. Planet X, What the fuck is this?
I can pull it up and throw it away, but it's fantastic.
I'm so excited. Yeah.
So they talk about how the Blight and the Nameless likely
came from the same place. And if they can find the source,
then they can use that info to stop the Nameless and the
Blight. Because essentially, they can
stop one, then they can stop theother.
And then we end that chapter with Reese asking Amadeo if he

(39:02):
wants to help find evidence of this theory.
And shocker, Amadeo cannot wait.Happily accepts.
Love that I just like that they both kind of made each other I
don't know, they both needed this and didn't realize it and I
just like that they've come together now and are giving each
other this sort of boost that they both needed and I think

(39:23):
together I can see this actuallygoing to a good place.
Me too. I'm so.
Excited to see what these two brains come up with.
Same. I cannot wait to.
Hear your thoughts on chapter 6.Oh my God, I kind of.
Like lost my mind here, I also lost my.
Mind and I was like I cannot wait to talk to Rachel about
this hit me what the hell is going on ah OK so we're.

(39:47):
Introduced to a brand new character.
This character's name is Sicaris.
We don't know much about this character other than he once
lived in dark, earthen passageways.
He has pale purple skin. He used to have purple blood,
but it is now somehow red. And he is very itchy and twitchy
and hearing voices. He is so messed up.

(40:09):
Even more interestingly is that he used to be a brother of the
ninth Thor. Love, love, love.
It it's so cool. That like bringing in, not only
do light side force users are affected by the namess and what
have you, but also Darksiders are here too.
We often don't talk about them but they are here and I'm so

(40:31):
excited to see it. Same and.
It's so like, oh, it just makes my skin crawl that he makes
these references that obviously are pointing to Baron Boulen and
Children of the Storm. Oh, yeah.
So he keeps going like. My father, and I just want to
see him like, where's my father? And I was like, you're saying
this word a little too much, butso many fathers in there.

(40:51):
He talks about the gift, some liquid gift he was given.
There's something called the badstuff.
I was like, I don't know what's happening.
I'm very intrigued by this. Yeah, so we.
See Sicaris, or rather, we read that Sicaris is walking towards
the store and he opens it up andthere is Baron Bulin.
I really hate this. He's like carving up a nameless.

(41:15):
There's like, blood and guts andeverything.
And the nameless is alive and it's whimpering like this is
horrendous. Yeah, like a scalpel and.
A bone saw. What is Bulin?
I know he is. He's kind of a monster.
He's a monster, yeah. So.
Bulan looks up and sees that Sicaris is not doing super great
and asks if Sicaris already needs more shots, which Sicaris

(41:40):
is like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I do.I guess at one point, like
Sicaris goes husk, husk, husk. A couple times.
I was like, what the heck is going on?
Why is he, like, connecting in this weird way to the nameless?
Like, Bulan is like staring at him weirdly.
It's like there's just some weird stuff happening here.
It's really really weird and I'ma.
Little ashamed of myself becauseI should know this, but it

(42:01):
reminds me a lot of in Nosferatu, and it happens kind
of in Dracula as well. There's that character that is
the one who sort of arranges forhim to get to this, like, you
know, the mainland from where he's at.
And he has a similar vibe of like seeing things and feeling
itchy and like having all these really weird spasmy tendencies.

(42:22):
And it's all coming from this supposed master of his, you
know? And I, I've kind of loved that
that was so similar. I didn't catch that either.
That's. Fantastic.
It's so good. So yeah, oh so Boulin like after
like staring at Sicaris like shouting or not shouting, but
whispering husk a couple times tell Sicaris that he and the
nameless are very similar and it's all in their blood.

(42:43):
And for a moment I was like, Oh my God.
Does like Sicaris like somehow related to the nameless?
Like are they also from Planet XWas like, what the heck is
happening? Yeah, it's making.
Me so scared of what's going on because they're using all these
words we've never heard right? Like we hear about a hunting
pack. Excuse me?
So my. Assumption is that this is how

(43:06):
he's making these bionic ass nameless like the one that we
saw before that went up against the Jedi.
And I'm like, so he's literally cutting their parts off and
replacing them with these bionicparts.
It's terrible, but he's creatingthis like, super soldier group
of mavelists, Yeah. So Boulin tells Sicarist to get

(43:27):
in the chair what's totally a torture chair, but apparently
Sicarist loves it. And Boulin goes and grabs A
syringe and a canister from thisrefrigerated hold and he injects
it into Sicaris. Of course Sicarist is like an
excruciating pain and fear. But then the weird part is that
like he goes from like seeing everything in this this a dull
grey tones to like everything isnow vividly bright and beautiful

(43:52):
and he can see so much clearly now and the voices have stopped.
Girl, what? And then not only that, he's
more powerful than he was before.
OK, what so? Here's the part I.
Really wanted to hear. Your thoughts on because there's
a moment where Sikris is thinking to himself about a
situation that happened many months ago and he calls it his

(44:13):
first success and he. Watched a young.
Jedi woman crumble to dust and said he's done it many times
since then. What the?
Yeah. What does this mean I.
Don't. Know so I guess like we should
talk about like what the heck isin this serum and we find out
that the serum is nameless blood.

(44:34):
Baird Bulin has, I don't know ifthis is the only time or if he's
done this to many other four sensitive entities, but Bulin
has injected Sicaris with nameless blood and for whatever
reason, it's sticking with Sicaris to the point where it
sounds like he is able to husk nameless like they can.
That's what I got is that. He did the husking like that's

(44:56):
the way I interpreted it. Absolutely I wanted.
To see if that's how you. Also interpret 100% it.
Is so weird. I don't understand what's
happening here. That is terrifying.
Because a Jedi is never gonna think about a human being or a
being of any species coming up to them.
That's not a nameless right? What if he?

(45:18):
Can just walk up and. Touch them.
God, that's awful. And is this what he's doing with
all the? Children like I have so many
questions. I know I do too.
Well, especially it makes me think because like we've read a
couple of the comics and like the last thing we saw was skier
with like Baron, not necessarilywith Baron Bull, but he was in
the in the torture area from Baron Bull.

(45:38):
And it makes me wonder like whatto what extent that tortures is.
Is it similar to what's happening here?
I don't know. Don't worry, we aren't going
back. To that story, we just haven't
gotten back to it yet. We're we're getting there guys.
This is. Arguably the worst part, which
is that Bulan has a task for him.
And I was like, oh God, please no.

(45:59):
He's received reports that Jedi have been sent to Boisson and he
wants Sikaris to lead a hunt with three of the.
So that's great. I know.
I was like, like we said, bye, Zach.
I know. Or Master Eve.
Fire whoever, both of them. I don't know what if it's a like

(46:20):
a Kev MO and was it Zala? I hate it.
Is that his master? Yeah.
I hate it. Like both of.
Them that book ruined me. I know, I know, it was so.
Awful. And this one is called tears.
Of the name like they're can't. Whatever.
Maybe the nameless are crying. That just makes me even more.
Sad, I know. The only people I want.

(46:41):
Crying are Baron Boulin and I don't know, I kind of feel bad
for the sicker is guy, like he'sbeen injected with blood until
he's absolutely manic, like it'snot even his fault totally.
And you can tell that. There's still some part of him
that is telling him to like try and leave and run away where
like one of the voices is like his fellow brothers of the ninth

(47:02):
door, like whispering him to run.
And it's like so there there is some part of him that knows that
this is terrible. It's just very.
He can't stop. Yeah, he's like.
Almost too far gone, but there. Yeah, I like that there's still
himself in there somewhere. We just don't know if it's even
possible for it to come back or not.
He would just go crazy without these injections.

(47:22):
Yeah, that's a good question. I don't.
Know, I don't know, but yeah, hegives.
Them a bunch of extra canisters of the right blood.
Testing tells. Them not to come back until the
pack has been fed all right wellon.
That. Happy note.
Chapter 7 Meanwhile, the vessel has arrived on Oysen.
So have you noticed that there'ssome odd pacing or timeline

(47:44):
things with this book? I have to because like we just
read a chapter about how Bulin finds out that the Jedi have
arrived on Oysen and there's no way that like this has the
chapter 6 has to be post Chapter7, right?
Yes, or. Just got enough of an advance
warning and maybe the trip takesforever.
Like I don't know how long this trip takes to get from Coruscant

(48:07):
to Oyson. Like I also want to know who the
snitch is. I know totally.
It's like where? Is the person's getting their
information from, is it Coruscant or like, is it Nihil
later? I don't know.
Yeah. Anyways, so vessel has arrived
on Oyson, it's beautiful lush green planet, etcetera,
etcetera. Of course, though, as soon as

(48:29):
they like descend into the trees, they get a proximity
alarm and Leox who's navigating the vessels like Oh my God,
what's that? So he like moves out of the way
and they see that's a Nile ship.What?
Yeah, I know. It's like they're.
Possibly just a little too late.Yeah, cuz the Nile ship is.
Also going straight towards the landing platform, they're
heading straight there. Yeah, well, Leox reaching that

(48:52):
to grand control tells them Nileare incoming.
Raise the alarm and that's when Eve tells the Leox to get super
close to the Nile ship. Eve and her Padawan Zaf are
going to jump off onto that Nileship and take control and it'll
be fine. Of course, Leox is like what the
heck are you talking about? I hate this idea.
Yeah, they did not sign. Up for this, this was not the

(49:14):
arrangement and of course the Jay are like just let us jump
onto this other ship. It's time just get closer.
Like you don't need weapons. We are.
The weapons according to ZAP, myGod.
My. Favorite was like the.
Sentence where it goes. Lyox eyes, afy grins and geode
maintained a non judgmental silence.

(49:35):
Love everything. About this there's so much going
on. It's so good.
I mean, they. They do.
Manage to do it though like theybring the ship low and come up
like right over the Nighhill ship and of course the Nighhill
are opening fire because they'regoing to do that but the Jedi
still managed to like get onto the ship from above above and
carve their way into the ship with their sabers so you know

(49:57):
thus far everything is OK yeah yeah the the.
Nile ship begins to list to the side and then completely
nosedives and crashed into the ground and I love that Afy just
thinks about how proud she is inthis moment of like her being
able to bring the Jedi to poisonand like save the day
essentially by being at the right place at the right time.

(50:18):
And it's kind of like furtheringher thoughts that like she is
doing the right thing. Yeah, her and Leox are having
very. Different responses to this
situation. And I mean, that's, that's the
chapter. But I did want to mention
something because I don't know if it's just an offhand thing
that doesn't mean anything or ifthis is a Dome of Deliverance
situation. I don't know.

(50:38):
But they mention that Geode has been keeping an eye on a fuel
anomaly that they're having. Why would you tell?
Us that. I'm anxious now as if I wasn't
anxious before. I've been anxious this entire
time, but I was just like, was that going to come back later?
Yeah. I hope Geode figures it out.
Before it comes. Back like I know I don't want a
situation. Where like, you know, they leave

(51:00):
the Jedi and they take off and then all of a sudden the vessels
like out of Commission and then they get a call for help from
the Jedi and they're like, Oh well, sorry, can't get there.
The vessels down happens to Geode.
My life is ruined. Don't even say that.
That can't even. I know, I'm sorry I expelled
that. Thought get out this next

(51:20):
chapter. Was super fun though.
You're 8? What a struggle bus for both.
Of us. Oh my God, I know.
I like when I texted you, I was like, I can't handle this
chapter. Too much is happening.
There's how do I take notes and I, I think both of us.
Really love this piece of the story and not like love the

(51:40):
character, but you know what I mean?
Like are we love this? Character in the.
Sense that I'm intrigued by themand I enjoy their place in the
story. I don't love what they're doing
necessarily. I I just no.
Oh yeah, totally. So it's Wreath going to talk to
Aslin Rel. And I personally find Aslin Rel
so fascinating. I remember back in Face to Aslin

(52:03):
Rel showing up at the end of Path Up to Sea, and then we
never saw him again. The whole time was like Aslin
Rel, where is he? What's he up to?
What's he doing? And that's the way they brought
him back and like he's like crazy and he's gone insane by
like the effects of the namelessand how he's been like in this
pursuit of like trying to find away to end the nameless.
It's just like what he got so cool eyeballs I.

(52:24):
Know he plucked them. Out.
He just comes back as an eyeball.
List Skeletor, who's absolutely out of his mind and I also love
that we both love this Anytime we can get this crazy ass dude,
it's great. And I was very intrigued hearing
that Wreath has been visiting him and it makes sense because
as and obviously is maybe this wealth of information about

(52:47):
nameless stuff. That's what he spent kind of his
life on, and Wreath needs to know.
What he's? Thinking or what he knows.
And yeah, I think we got a wreath.
Chapter with Aslan in one of ourbooks.
What book was that? Some book prior, but it wasn't
from Wreaths. It was kind of a Reed's
perspective, but it was not fully in Reed's perspective.

(53:10):
So I was really especially excited about this chapter
because then we got some like good inner POV of Wreath to kind
of see like how he's interactingwith Aslan and like what's this
like one? It's interesting too, is.
Kind of motivation to keep goingbecause like the Council doesn't
like this Wreath, doesn't particularly like visiting him
because he's creepy as shit. But he wants to prove Master

(53:32):
Komak wrong. And he wants to prove the Jedi
are capable of ending this crisis and kind of heal from the
wound that he left him with. And I was like, baby boy.
And Yoda really believes. In Aslan too, and I think
there's a part of Wreath that wants to like like follow
through what Yoda has started and see where it goes.

(53:53):
Yes, and it's. Made Wreath go on this little
mind journey that I love becausewe've had this discussion many
times. And it's that he's had to
reconsider what he's been taughtabout the dark side and what it
means and how it's like, it was confusing for him that some of
Aslan's goals aligned with the Jedi Order, but he embraced the
dark side. But he did it for reasons he

(54:14):
felt were necessary. And so it's it's just so anti
what Wreath has learned. Because often I think they're
hearing about very black and white between the dark side and
the light side. And this is an argument within
the fandom itself, whether there's any room for Gray in
there. And a lot of people very
staunchly believe there's not. And I'm very much a person who
believes there is. And I know like, you know,

(54:35):
people feel very strongly about it, But I like, I like that
they're talking about this because Wreath is like, wait, is
there a nuance in between? And I like that his
conversations with Aslan have kind of put him on that path of
just trying to understand that alittle bit.
Yeah. And Aslan.
Wreath is so perceptive in general and like, you know, he's
a critical thinker, he reads a lot, etcetera.

(54:56):
And so it's like really cool seeing him address some of these
philosophical questions and kindof like become better for it.
Like, I really love of that. Like he acknowledges that Aslan
is clearly doing terrible, making terrible choices, like
murdering thousands of people, not a good idea.
But he does recognize that the intent behind doing that was in

(55:20):
a good place and that Aslan is trying to like, stop the
nameless and he's trying to do this for the Jedi Order,
etcetera. And I love that he says, I don't
know, quote this clearly. It was a way of justifying his
actions, a kind of cognitive dissonance that allowed him to
make sense of his trauma and atrocities he committed out of
fear. So good.

(55:40):
Yes, this has been so many. Star Wars villains, we've seen
this right, where they genuinelybelieve what they're doing is
right. But I think that's why they need
to believe what they're doing isright, or else they have to face
the fact that they've become something bad.
And it's like, well, I love thatthey brought this up.
I love, love it. It's so good.

(56:00):
We haven't. Even reached Aslin yet?
Girl, don't you worry. We're going to so several,
several things. One is again, Aswan doesn't need
lights cuz he doesn't have anything.
Can I? Can I also say something?
Before we get there, did you know that the Temple guards had
to get rid of their names and all form of identity?

(56:23):
I did not Jedi. We need to talk.
Yeah, some of the stuff they do,I'm like, guys, this is the
little culty. You gotta, you gotta chill on
the culty. I just have so many questions.
About this particular group, which makes me wonder if like
maybe they don't give out their names like they all have like
this like secret underground temple guard meeting.
And it's like, I don't know, they have their names.

(56:45):
They have nicknames. They've given themselves, yeah,
totally, but they don't let anybody.
Else know they're like, got to keep it quiet so they don't know
who we are. Yeah.
And of course, like, Wreath is observant and he can tell us
like, oh, this is the guy with the limp.
I love it so much. I love.
The temple guards and what I'm hearing from you is that at some
point if we ever do shorts, we need to do shorts on these like
random things like what is a temple guard and dive into that.

(57:08):
Oh my God, love to hear about this because I don't remember
ever learning that prior and maybe it did show up somewhere
and we just forgot about it, butI think that's really
interesting. It's crazy, but yes.
But yes, the darkness. The darkness.
So the wreath essentially has to.
Walk into a completely dark chamber and thankfully they've

(57:28):
got some lights on timers so that when people walk in the
lights do end up coming off. I thought it was Aslan just.
Turning on the light just briefly once.
Did they say it was timers? It was.
It's not timers, but they have. It set to do that like there's a
motion sensor or something. I see cuz Reef mentioned like
okay they have it set so that itdoes come on but it comes on

(57:50):
very dim because it can still hurt Aslan to have like this
bright light shining even if he can't technically see it.
So it's still very creepy in there.
Secondly, Aslan feels like he has to say, come in this very
breathy, creepy voice. And I'm like, Aslan absolutely
not. And three, when the light does
come on for every he gets to seethis increasingly insane looking

(58:14):
wall of diagrams and symbols andsuch that I guess they've
probably accumulated semi together.
But also I think it's mostly Aslan and it it made me think of
I'm so sorry for doing a pop culture reference.
Don't kill me. It made me think of that Always
Sunny in Philadelphia meme wherethe characters in front of the
board of papers looking like my God.
It just made me think of that so.

(58:36):
I was cracking up because this is just like multiple jump
scares. I don't know how Wreath manages
to come visit him ever because it's just like the whole time
before you even start a conversation.
Oh my God, it's so true. Also we need to put Aslan's face
over that meme and just be like oh girl absolutely.
We can't. Fantastic.
Thank you. That is.
Completely doable. Man, yeah, so.

(58:58):
If that was not enough to freak Wreath out, Aslan immediately
goes, Wreath, something has changed.
You seem extra scared today. Wreaths like, no, I'm not, I
don't know what you're talking about.
And eventually they like change the subject where Wreath asked
Aslan to tell Wreath about his premonitions of the future.
And I got really excited about this because I just like, it was

(59:21):
so funny because I was reading the prior chapters and I was
like, you know what? We haven't seen premonitions.
You know how in the Skywalker saga, it's got the premonitions
of the chosen One, etc. And we haven't seen too many
Jedi that have premonitions. And so I was like, yeah, Aslan's
got premonitions. He's crazy.
Only the crazy ones in this time.
Period. Have them.

(59:43):
That's so true. Speaking of premonitions and
things. And the acknowledging fear as
in, like, hey, so yeah, if you're going to survive what's
to come, you're going to need to, like, embrace that you have
fear. Like, that has to be something
you do. And I was just like, oh, that's
not ominous at all. OK, Ashlyn.
He drops a little reference. Doesn't he?

(01:00:06):
Yeah, so. He drops the whole like so Aslan
tells Wreath that he can't tell his premonitions because it will
mess up all his plans and then the path of the open hand will
win come again? Sorry I I was like.
Wow, a path of the open hand reference.
Is it just because he still calls the nighthill that like I
don't and I liked that wreath caught?

(01:00:27):
This, And he doesn't know if it is a, what's the word, lack of
awareness or if it's a premonition that the Nile and
the path of the Open Hand are still like 1 and essentially,
like Markian's, like the great, great grandson of Martyro.
Path of the Open Hand. Yeah, like queen.
So to me, I agree with Aslan that this is still very pathy.

(01:00:52):
It's so cool. And Aslan is 1.
Of the only characters besides Markian and a few others that I
could probably come up with withsome time and brain power, Yoda
that are still actually. Directly.
Connected to the path of the open hand?
Oh, directly connected? Oh yes.
That's fair. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So it's it's super. Cool to have these characters
that are and it it just so happens that this creepy

(01:01:14):
motherfucker is one of them. My gosh, it's.
Crazy. So I think here's my.
Question for you, because Reef genuinely believes that Aslan
really does not want to kill, orreally does want to kill the
nameless more than anything so that you know that motivation is
good. Aslan kind of tells him that
because he sees that and becausehe understands his mission, that

(01:01:35):
he's like, better than the otherJedi.
Like he's a he's a really good Jedi because he gets Aslan's
purpose, whereas some of the other Jedi don't get it.
Yeah. Does he actually?
Think that. Is he manipulating Wreath into
like a false sense of self? I don't know what his, I don't
know what his thing is here. I don't know either.

(01:01:56):
And this. Whole chapter I was trying to
figure out their dynamic. It's so bizarre because like,
Wreath is coming at it with us, like trying to find out and pick
his brain, but Aslan is playing the game too and he's trying to.
Like, I agree, it's definitely manipulative and I want to say
that Aslan is manipulating Wreath in some way to get Wreath
to do what he needs to do. But whatever that is, I don't

(01:02:18):
know what it is and maybe the thing he needs to.
Do is a good thing, but I just, I'm getting super manipulate
vibes here and I'm like absolutely.
I know, I hope that Wreath stands his ground on not
murdering people, but you never know.
Oh my God. Stay in the library, baby.
I know. For real.

(01:02:39):
Yeah, especially. Because, like, Aslan tells the
wreath that he cares for him andbelieves that wreaths can
succeed and all the things. Yeah, it's just like, of course,
Wreath makes Aslan some tea. And that's when Aslan's like,
OK, Wreath, tell me why you're here at the end of.
The chapter, well, for real, I know, totally.
And Wreath of course tells Aslanabout his new theory about the

(01:03:00):
Blight and the Nameless and how they likely came from the same
place. And he wants to know if Aslan
has any answers to this. And of course Aslan gives the
most like non answer answers. Like if I knew about that, I
would have told you. It's like you're literally
nothing. Good to Add all.
No, there really wasn't. I feel like he just keeps
telling Reef. These random philosophical

(01:03:21):
things that actually don't help breathe at all, they just
probably make him need more anxiety meds because he's just
like, hey, so just a reminder. And there's more dangerous
things to fear in the Galaxy than the dark side.
And it's like, Aslan, baby, stayfocused.
We're talking about the blight and the nameless right now.
And I know you're saying you should fear them more than you

(01:03:42):
should fear embracing the dark side to face.
Like I get what he's saying, butI'm like, you know things and
you're not sharing them and you're doing it on purpose so
that things can go according to the way you want them to go.
And it's driving me insane. It's.
I want to know what? Aslan knows and I don't know any
of it. Saying that, I'm sure Reef.
Feels the exact same way. That's crazy.

(01:04:03):
That was a great. Chapter I loved it so much it
was and we want everyone to. Know that we shortened it so
much for you because we probablycould have done a whole last
episode on just that chapter. I could have done a.
What do you call it? Reading a dramatic reading.
Dramatic reading, yes. Can I be Aslan please?
Yeah. You guys aren't ready for that.

(01:04:26):
You're not ready. Can we have costumes and
everything? And when I mean costumes, I just
mean like a towel over your head.
I'm just gonna duct tape like. Two pieces of paper over my
eyes. I think it'll be more genuine if
I actually cannot see. So yeah, I might be a social
media Yeah, I. I really look forward.

(01:04:47):
To forcing people to subscribe to us to get that kind of
content. Yeah, it's like we're actually
gonna start a Patreon. Yeah, we're going to start a
Patreon. With like spontaneous comedy
bits. So yeah, powered but to you by.
Riverside completely forgot it I'm.
So proud of you. We were laughing because in some

(01:05:08):
of the like, clips you get from Riverside, they have a voice
that sounds like it's very like, jarring like.
Yeah, and you're just like. And it talks over your own
voice, and so you can't even share it with people.
And I told Rachel she should just say that during the episode
and I would probably forget about it.
And sure enough, I love that so much.
But I hate it. Hate it.

(01:05:28):
Riverside. Why does the free version have?
To be so obnoxious sometimes we're just trying to make a
living out here, OK, right? God donate on buy me a.
Coffee.com, Bitches of Death and.
Then we can get the premium. Riverside guys, for real.
And this. Next chapter really interesting

(01:05:49):
because we're suddenly doing a little backtrack.
Chapter 9 happens to be 30 yearsago.
I was so. Shocked by this chapter.
Oh my God same. Yep, I'm curious to see.
Where they're going with this, and unfortunately we don't get a
ton of answers in the section that we're reading, but it's
made me feel a little more interested in what this

(01:06:11):
characters got going on. Me too SO.
We see Komak Itis Vitis is the padawan, and he's standing at
the edge of a Canyon and he's looking down at this river.
He can barely see and he's looking at the other side.
He is supposed to jump across and he's just going to puke.
Normally. He's not afraid of heights and
is normally totally fine jumpingthat distance.

(01:06:34):
He's actually jumped distance even further than that.
But for whatever reason, today he is so sure he is going to
fall and die. Yeah, it's just like it's.
Physically stopping him from even trying.
Like he can't even attempt to doit because his brain is like,
you're going to die. This is it, you're dying.
And it's like, where is this coming from all the sudden and I

(01:06:55):
guess. They're he's.
Here with Orla and they're 2 masters and I guess they're
helping with a Raider situation with a couple settlements there
and him and Orla are out on a training exercise together and
he was in first place mostly because he apparently cheated
and took a shortcut. But because he's standing at the
edge of this Canyon, Orla catches up to him and is like,

(01:07:19):
hey, you took a shortcut and cheated.
I'm the winner now. I know that's like the first
thing that comes out of her. Mouth but then she like notices
that there's something really wrong with Komak and she goes
hey like what's going on and finally gets Komak to explain
that he had to begin overthinking the jump and
thought this was just too dangerous of something that he
could do for the day. So Orla like looks at Komak and

(01:07:41):
tells him that she understands that it's not the Canyon he's
trying to jump and that they cantry again tomorrow.
I love it. She's just very.
Again, you said it earlier, she's kind of like therapy mom.
And even as a Padawan, she obviously was like this, very
perceptive and very able to understand how to read and
understand like what they. Need in order to progress

(01:08:01):
forward too. Yes, she didn't force.
Him to do it, she understood. Like we're gonna we're gonna
come back to this tomorrow, but for today, I'm gonna run back
towards Cam and beat you again. I love the dynamic.
It is, yeah. Because like, you know, Orla and
Komak have this great friendshipand they're doing this training
exercise. And I feel like most Padawans

(01:08:23):
would just be a normal training exercise.
But of course, theirs is a race. They're like, there's a
competitiveness to it. Oh, goodness.
I got really nervous. Because Chapter 10, we're back
on Oysan. And now that we know that Baron
Bulin knows about Oysen, I'm getting increasingly nervous
about this. Yeah, this, this was where I.

(01:08:43):
Thought that once the Nile were taken and the ship went down on
Oysen, that's when Bulin found out about Jedi being on Oysen.
That would make total sense. It's hard now.
That I feel like that would. Super Track.
So I'm I'm curious how long it'sgoing to take Sicaris to make
his way over here. I don't know, I guess the.

(01:09:04):
Crew like AFY. Lyox Geo, they've landed near
the wreckage of the Nihil ship to pick up their Jedi friends
who have been able to take that ship over and force it down.
And AFY finds Zaf while Master Eve or taking the Nihil that
were aboard prisoner. But this is where AFY can tell
something is bothering Zaf, right?
Yeah, 'cause. Zaf is normally like super
enthusiastic and like loves lifelike we talked about before.

(01:09:29):
And AFY expects Zaf to be super excited about the new planet we
already mentioned that's incredibly beautiful, colorful,
etcetera. And Zaf is like not showing any
enthusiasm at all. And like when Safi does ask Zaf
about it, like if he's OK, he kind of puts on this like fake
smile. So the ground transport
vehicles, the Hoisinians drive up.

(01:09:51):
So even Zaf head over to meet them and Afy's looking at how
thin and hungry all these settlers look and she starts to
feel good about what she did andbringing the Jedi here and all
the supplies. Yeah, because Afy like then bugs
Zaf again about if he's OK and finally gets Zaf to open up
about how he felt this strange shadow when he set foot on

(01:10:11):
Oysen. So that's gotta be that
creature, right? I hate it.
My God, it's. Terrifying.
Yeah. And he of course dismisses it as
nothing, since it was fleeting and maybe it was the feelings of
fear from the settlers or what have you.
Don't brush it off, no. Please don't.
I know, I just, I hate. That like description of a

(01:10:33):
shadow in the forest, That's terrifying.
I don't like that at all. And I mean, he says he'll
mention it to his master right and all, but like, I just, I
want him to take it seriously because it's, I know, I know.
So Eve buyer walks over and tells AFY that they're all done.
Oysteins are very grateful to AFY and her crew for their help

(01:10:54):
and bravery. But before AFY and the others
leave, AFY hands Eve comlink. I like that Eve's like oh I
already have one why are you giving me a second one?
But Afy's explanation to why sheshould take this comlink is that
I guess like it's a geode made special Lee made comlink that
has a fixed frequency to call the vessel directly and a homie.

(01:11:17):
And AFY says that she's giving this to Eve because you never
know at the edge of the occlusion zone what will happen.
But the last sentence I. Wrote about chapter 10 was I
have a terrible feeling that this is the last time AFY will
ever see them and it makes me want to cry and I know that's so
morbid but like I feel the shadow of the force in this

(01:11:40):
chapters. I know I'm kind of.
Terrified that Afy's like, yeah,I'm doing the great thing and
all the things and she's actually setting up these people
to die, yes, and not. Just like anybody, it's person
in particular that is so hopefuland positive and joyous.
And I just, I can see it. I can see it.
Maybe the High Republic authors, maybe George Mann will surprise

(01:12:02):
me and Zach's gonna make it. I just, I'm trying to prepare
myself emotionally. OK, me too.
Chapter 11, We get a break from voice.
We go back with Amadeo and Reef Reef and they're working in the
lab together on a sample. And we kind of get this inner
monologue from Amadeo about how much he admires Wreath because
of how much he's been through and how much pressure is now on

(01:12:25):
his shoulders, which is true. It's just it feels like so much
to put on Wreath that he's goingto solve the nameless problem.
I know everyone's busy, I get it.
And things had to be delegated. This just seems like a really
big thing to put on one person and the only reason he has help
is because Ahmed stepped up. Well.
Oh my God, for real. But then we also have Emerick
Kaftor, right, who's also doing research on the nameless, but

(01:12:48):
he's, like way out in the field.Yeah, yeah, he's doing the like,
hands on. Stuff, which is great.
It's still important, but I'm I'm sure like Wreath is feeling
very like it's all on him. Absolutely, yeah.
It's a lot of pressure for IS. I can't remember, is Wreath the
padawan? I think he got promoted to
knight. Right, yeah, when Colburn left.
Yeah, OK, so barely Jedi Knight.Sorry if that's incorrect.

(01:13:12):
But I I think you're right. I.
Do love that both Wreath and Amadeo are now fellow
researchers in the Nameless Problem.
And they've been going over theories and spending time in
the Jedi archives and like looking for hidden clues and
ancient texts and are now looking for physical clues and
the samples in the laboratory. It's so cute.

(01:13:33):
I got so excited. Because they're doing
microscope. We're good.
Oh my God, did you look? Up the microscope they were
using and like the Star Wars Enos.
I didn't either. I was really curious because I'm
like, what does a Star Wars microscope look like?
Right? I know I'm like how?
How? Much does this bad boy zoom, I'm
apparently at the cellular. Level, yes, I know.
I was like. Good Lord, yeah.

(01:13:55):
So they're looking at 2 samples. One of which is Kerr's blighted
hand. And the other sample is the husk
or a piece from a husk Jedi. And they're looking at at the
cellular level to see a comparison between the two, see
if there's any differences. And I like that, like Reese just
like looks at it and he's like Amadeo, take a look at these two
pieces and tell me what the differences are.
Amadeo's like, I'm not experienced enough to tell you

(01:14:18):
this, but he doesn't need to be,right?
Because they're exactly the same.
Wow. Yeah, so.
That at least. Proves that the Blight is doing
the same thing the Nameless is doing and they must share a
common ancestry of some kind like they're they're leaving
behind the exact same. Cells, I guess you would call

(01:14:40):
it. Material.
Yeah, I, I I find. It interesting that they keep
using this word of a common ancestry as opposed to a common
like planet or common habitat, you know, cuz like for me with
like common ancestry, like I struggle with that one because
like maybe because I come at it from a scientific perspective,

(01:15:00):
I'm like, you've got convergent evolution and like, you know,
animals can go about things in very similar ways but not at all
be related. 100% I don't. Know which way they meant it and
I had the same thing where I waslike, so are you referencing
there used to be an animal that then split into these two
totally? Or are you referring to ancestry

(01:15:21):
as like you came from the same planet?
I'm I'm just not sure which. That's a good point.
Because like a non scientist. Might refer to it that way.
And so I'm not sure which route it's going and I'm so curious
about it. Yeah, yeah.
Interesting. Big question now though if.
They're the exact same thing. Well, not the Blight and the

(01:15:42):
Nameless, but the thing they're leaving behind.
Why don't the husk left by the Nameless spread?
Why don't they do this like thing the Blight is doing where
it's like essentially an Organism spreading out?
So they got to figure that out because there's something
different there. Oh, totally.
Maybe it's Planet X actively nameless, seeing planets in the

(01:16:05):
Galaxy in the name of the blightin.
The name of the blight? Yeah, for now.
Bizarre. They don't know.
Real bizarre and I. Want to see what they're going
to do with it next. But Wreath is like, I'll go talk
to Ella. We can get in front of the
council and they can help us figure out the next step.

(01:16:26):
And I was like, totally. Or you could just do it.
Just go. Come on.
What go? To next could just keep.
Pushing on these questions and maybe figure it out for himself,
but totally, yeah, where? Are we in the timeline?
That's the hard thing with. The High Republic books is
sometimes it gets very muddled where we're at and I'm not sure
like the blight has not has the blight made it to chorus on it

(01:16:49):
and they just haven't told everybody Afy made a.
Comment about how Mark Yon Rowe promised that he could control
the blight. Oh, so that has already
happened? That's so I think that has
already. Happened but it no one else has
talked about it so I'm a little confused.
I know that's to me that would be.
Like the hot Goss, right? Absolutely.

(01:17:10):
And so it's so. You see Mark.
You're on row today, yeah. Right.
Did you? He was shirtless.
Out on the patio earlier, like God damn.
And no one's saying anything. And so I think in my mind it
just made me confused, like maybe it hadn't happened, but it
definitely has. Like it's for sure happened, but
for some reason it's not a topicof discussion.
And I don't know if it's just for the sake of the book not
being 5 bazillion pages. Yeah, probably.

(01:17:33):
Yeah, I am very curious. Well, anyways, we move on to
chapter 12 and then talk about also pacing.
Not pacing issues, but like timeline can like questions
because chapter 12 Vernestra is in the recovery wing of the Jedi
Temple and so she finally got toCoruscant.
But to me it like, didn't she just leave Victoria?
So cef the first like not too long ago?

(01:17:55):
Yeah, it feels like because it'sonly.
A few chapters different. So it's like oh is that a 5
minute trip? But like obviously it wasn't in
some time has passed. It just doesn't feel like that
much time has passed. It really doesn't.
And I I guess. I don't know what the time like
how long it takes to travel between Vixos F1 and then
Coruscant right? Is it like 5 hours?
Is it a day like we don't? It's hard to get a concept of

(01:18:18):
how long that takes. And I guess she wasn't a really
shitty. Nile ship so maybe it took her
extra long because of that Probably yeah and she.
I mean, she got shot at and likeall that.
Like, I'm not surprised she is in need of medical attention.
And now, just finally. Getting to Coruscant anyways, so
she's in the recovery wing and she's over it.
She doesn't want to be here. I feel like she's probably been

(01:18:40):
in here for like an hour and she's like, I am done.
This is beeping machine behind me that won't shut up.
Yeah, she is ready to. Go.
Which is not how healing Yeah, she's got.
A few broken ribs and a radial fracture on her skull.
And also like a giant gash that needed sutures.
Yeah, guys, those are not. Good.

(01:19:01):
Those are all like pretty that'sall pretty bad stuff.
But then when the medroid is like you need two weeks of
complete rest which for radial fracture on your.
Brain, she's like, I think we. All know, just let's go ahead
and just all accept as a group that I won't be taking two weeks
of rest. Are you out of your mind like
the medical Droid is like, Yeah.I knew this was going to happen.
I know, Jedi. So I've already started the

(01:19:23):
process to like speed up your recovery.
It will be painful, but well, Jedi, Oh my God.
Obviously she's going to. Do that though, because the
medroid says she can leave the next day if she does the
accelerated path. And I was like what are is he
going to like shoot her with some Vicodin or something like
what's happening? I have no idea like.
They don't explain what that process is, but it seems like

(01:19:46):
more intense than like a bacta tank right?
Oh for sure if it's causing. That much pain?
Maybe it's nameless blood. Love that this is.
Of course, the time when Reef comes in and he's wanting to
talk to her and kind of ask whathappened to her, because it's
another first hand account, right, of the Nameless, of the

(01:20:08):
blight, of Markian dealing with both of those things.
And so he tells her about the Blight and the Nameless having
the same effect and asks if she noticed anything or had any
observations for him. So that's.
That's when she tells him about Markian walking on the Blight
and touching the Blight and transferring it to the dream
gear and all this stuff and not becoming infected and like how?

(01:20:30):
She thinks that if Markian can control the Nameless, perhaps he
can also control the Blight in asimilar way.
And Reed is so excited about finding further links between
the Blight and the Nameless. He's like, like pacing up and
down. He's so excited.
It's like if they can both be. Controlled by someone then it
just kind of supports his theorythat they are totally the same.

(01:20:53):
So Wreath rushes out of the roomwith a plan to tell Alzar Man
and then head to the archives. From our research, the Angel.
For real. Well.
With that we're. Here at Chapter 13, last one
we're going to cover and we are going back in time again 30
years earlier. Yeah, we're still with Komak.
And but this is the next day after his sad jumping

(01:21:17):
experience, he wakes up feeling much better.
He did some meditation on what had happened and his mind is
clear. He's totally fine.
And I guess the Jedi are in thiscamp right outside of the
settlement. And he like walks out of his
tent. And Orla's master, Master
Silverall tells Komak that Orla had already left for the day and
she's on their training run racething and how he needs to hurry

(01:21:41):
up if he wants to catch her. It's like, aren't you 5 minutes
late? To the start of the training run
your Did you sleep in? Are you okay?
I love it so much I. Love that Komak just takes off.
Running as fast as he can, he's like out of breath for real.
That's how he finds her is like.Out of breath, but he finds her
at the Canyon because of course he does.
She's got her little, like, planin place.

(01:22:02):
And she's like, yeah, we're gonna jump together.
We're doing it right now, at this moment.
We are just, we're jumping. I like that.
She calls it an intervention. I know.
Yeah. So they get ready on the count
of three, run and jump the distance.
Orla goes perfectly, lands on the other side.
But the very last second, Komak stops and he just can't do it.

(01:22:24):
I thought he was going to. I thought.
Her like little plan was gonna work.
Me too. But Komak, like, turns away in
shame and runs back to the camp.Oh my goodness, Komak.
Returns. And goes straight for his master
and I. I've forgotten that his master
Master Simex is a filithar, which is a sentient snake

(01:22:46):
species obsessed. That's cool.
So cool. It's the.
It's the mention of the. Nictating membrane for me.
I was like, yeah, you got me, George, he got me.
And yeah, I guess his master already knows something's
troubling him. Because Jedi, I mean.
So Komak goes. Through what?
Been happening at the Canyon andMaster simics reminds him that

(01:23:07):
you know you've done this thing before so it's not a skill
issue. Like that's not the thing that
you're facing. And the Canyon in and of itself
has no desire for you to plummetto your death within it.
So there's no like I'll intent of anything else.
And the real issue is that he's put more faith in his failure
than in success. And he kind of encourages him to

(01:23:28):
ask, like, is that the kind of person you want to be is someone
who doesn't face challenges whenthey're too hard?
He's basically like mind over matter.
Yes, and Komak. Can't see his perspective at
all, he doesn't understand and Komak keeps repeating that he
could fall and how it's an unnecessary risk.

(01:23:49):
And finally, Master Simex tells Komak What you're really
struggling with here is with your faith, both in yourself and
in the Jedi. And once Komak recognizes this,
he will know what to do Very interesting.
Now we kind of see why this timeperiod was brought up.
I don't know if we're going to continue this time or not, but

(01:24:11):
it's like that little planted seed of when he actually started
having problems with doubt against himself in the Jedi, and
it's like it started way earlierthan any of us thought.
Totally, Yeah. Do you think Komak is?
Reflecting on these memories? Or do you think that this is
just reader insight? I like to think it's both.

(01:24:33):
It would be cool to me if he is reflecting on it and if it comes
back in like 30 years later, he actually completes the lesson, I
guess. Or like, you know, I would love
to see that. But we'll, we'll see what they
do. We don't get to find out today
because that was the last chapter we got it under.
Two hours though, but yeah, I loved.

(01:24:56):
This section, it was a lot, but in a good way.
There was just so many, like, we're going back to these
characters we haven't seen in a while.
Here's some new characters, here's some flashbacks, here's
this, here's that. It was a very powerful start to
this book. It truly was.
Yeah, I'm so excited to see you where they go.
I don't think I expected that this book would be as much or

(01:25:19):
have as many answers about the nameless.
I mean, I guess I shouldn't be surprised because it is wreath,
but I don't know. It's really cool.
We've lost faith in. The High Republic?
Davis answers. Yeah, maybe.
That's it. This answer not answers.
They're all as lit to me. Exactly.
And so we're the. Wreath in this scenario, and

(01:25:39):
we're going to figure it out forourselves.
Yeah, ha ha. So I flank.
My hair tie. Yeah, it's the witching hour.
Which is when things get silly. And so with that, I am excited
for us to talk about more tiers of the Nameless for our next
episode. We'll obviously go on to the
following chapters. How many of them TTBD?
You'll have to tune into our next episode to find out, but in
