Hey y'all! The end of the year is nigh (can you believe I'm using a word like that? #Fancy), so I wanted us to end on a positive and profound note since the holidays are coming up. Like most of you, I'm spending the holidays without my family, which can be a bummer, stressful, or actually, a good thing if things with your family aren't so great. Whatever the case may be, we're all looking inward, which is why I'm so pumped for this supersized episode because we are talking therapy! And in particular, therapy for black people, in light of the tumultuous year. Joining me are superstar comedian Nore Davis and author/activist/educator Rachel Cargle, who is also the founder of the Loveland Foundation, a place that is built for people to focus on their mental health. Suffice it to say that both of these conversations are deep, funny, real, and extremely insightful. Y'all are in for a sweet treat! Enjoy this dope ass episode! And per usual, we are answering some great audience questions. Cheers!

Moving on. The Brothers Ortiz

The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways. Gabe Ortiz becomes a third-highest ranking officer in all of Texas while his younger brother Larry climbs the ranks in Puro Tango Blast, a notorious Texas Prison gang. Gabe doesn’t know all the details of his brother’s nefarious dealings, and he’s made a point not to ask, to protect their relationship. But when Larry is murdered during a home invasion in a rented beach house, Gabe has no choice but to look into what happened that night. To solve Larry’s murder, Gabe, and the whole Ortiz family, must ask each other tough questions.
