From Gotham to Krakoa, the multiverse is messy—and D’Marcus wants answers. In this episode of Black Geek Energy, he grills Jared on what’s currently happening with our favorite comic book characters across Marvel and DC. Is Storm still running Mars? Is Nightcrawler a demon or a priest this week? Has anyone finally told Robin to take a break? And what is up with all the Spider-People lately?

We’re breaking down wild storylines, major character changes, and messy reboots so you don’t have to read every issue. Whether you’re a hardcore reader, an MCU junkie, or just here for the drama, we’ve got the comic book updates that matter—delivered with that signature BGE energy.

If you’ve ever asked, “Wait, are they dead or just multiverse dead?”—this one’s for you.

All right, everybody, welcome toanother episode of Black Geek
Energy. Here give.
Us a give us a better black thanthat you.
DeMarcus. You, you shortchanging us on the
black brother. I mean, you shortchanged me on

(00:30):
being here on time, so I can shortchange everybody on the
black. Wow.
And on today's episode, we're going to start off how we start
off and I we. I We didn't wear before we
started, but it took a little longer than I expected.

(00:52):
What? What do you have to do?
I. Had to take a shit.
OK, so let's talk about it. I we are here at least 5 minutes
before, most times it's 10 minutes before.

(01:14):
So then this the waiting to get this started.
It's just frustrating. I could do it every single time
and it's even more frustrating not to do it when we have a
guest on. You'll be able to do it every
single time, and you ain't had to do it when we had a guest on
in the mail. I'll be, I'll be, I'll be
logging on. I'll be logging on early when we

(01:35):
got guests. You didn't last week.
Yes, I did. With Jordan.
Yes, I think I logged on in like1225 or something like that.
No, we definitely talked to clear up the awkward space.
Because I, I right here it was like 12:25, 12/27 and then I had

(02:00):
to start because my shit wasn't working because he, when I first
logged on, he hadn't even got onyet all.
Right. Well, DeMarcus, let's just start
off every. I mean, I saw this episode like
you start off every episode. How has your previous week been?
It's been previous week, been good like this week, this past

(02:29):
weekend, it was eventful. I heard the pool tournament we
got, we got eliminated. It's just it's faggot.
You're preachers, which are good.

(02:50):
We're going to be doing something a little bit
differently. No one can hear you while
they're playing. I said it doesn't matter how
your previous week has been because on today's episode,
we're going to do something justa little bit differently.
DeMarcus, I think that it's widely known that you pissed me

(03:13):
off a lot on this show and on this podcast.
So we're going to go back and talk about your previous week.
But what I'm going to do it's I'm going to institute a little
game for myself. And on this game, I'm going to
be taking a shot. I'll be taking a shot every time

(03:40):
you do one of three days. And my goal is, and hopefully
your goal, too, is to have me survive the show.
OK, So don't kill me. So I'm going to take a shot
every time you say something confidently and it's wrong.

(04:08):
You say shit confidently and be wrong all the.
Time. I've never said nothing like.
Panera Bread Company and AtlantaBread Factory were the same
corporation. I've never said nothing like.
You said stuff like that too. Like what give me example.
Remember, I don't hold on. To your things like that well,
every time you say something confidently wrong, I'll take a

(04:28):
shot OK every time you make a mature joke talking about your
penis or having sex or anything like that, I'll just take a shot
Oh you guys, it's not that podcast and.
You feel to be drawn. It is that podcast you said we

(04:49):
talked about anime in our lives.Sex is a big part of my life.
We talk about geeky stuff in ourlife.
I don't think is is. Is sex the only part of your
life? No, I said a big part.
And you don't think you don't think people can geek out about
sex? No, no, I don't.
Sex is very personal. I don't think that, OK, I don't
think that we can geek out aboutyou having straight sex.

(05:13):
So no. Oh, but if it was gay sex it
would be OK. If it was with a gay person.
OK, what I mean, OK. The last thing I'm going to take
a shot on is every time, huh? I said it feels very
straightest, but you know. Of course and and I don't mind

(05:36):
that every time your camera messes up, I will take another
shower every time you have to adjust your camera to.
Adjust. It every time oh God, and he's
adjusting so let me go ahead or.Something like this?
Go ahead and I will be doing some fireball, yeah.

(06:00):
I can see the see the body. Yeah.
And just to let you know, I haven't taken shots in like over
a year. Oh we Jerry, you got to be about
to be slutty drunk. So this is my first shot because
is. That count as a Is that count as

(06:20):
a sex joke? Because I said you're going to
be slutty drunk. DeMarcus, don't play with me.
As I said before, I'm trying to survive the podcast, so don't
play with me. I'm, I'm excited for this game.
I'm not. Your goal might be to survive.
My goal is to get you as drunk as possible.
I. Would do that.
I want the people to see you drunk.

(06:42):
OK, well, I've never been drunk. You, Jared.
Can I just take this shot please?
Please, you can, OK? And we are on our way folks.
Welcome to Black Geek Energy, where we can get Jared drunk.

(07:05):
All right, so my shot is down. We're going to go back and I'm
going to ask you once again, howhas your previous week has been
and the market is make sure thatyou put a little bit of hep in
your step, a little something inyour voice.

(07:26):
You can inflate every other syllable.
Just make it sound interesting because this is for the people
and and you interesting part Andit's like your previous week
hasn't been interesting 'cause you're not saying like you're
saying like, oh, my creamy is drinking and and Dang dum dum

(07:46):
dum dum dum dum dum dum. That's how you sound so.
I mean, every week ain't no banger, bro.
OK, we'll, we'll. Make it sound like a banger.
But anyway, so we had the pool tournament.
We got eliminated like first round and I just, and I and you

(08:06):
know, I've got I don't know, I don't know why we we got
eliminated first round. Like my first match, my first
game in our first match was playing this other team.
And I guess they were pretty good.
My first game, I was doing good.I was playing up like 2 levels.
I'm a three. I was playing as a three, which
is a whole different thing that I want to go into in that the
rules, you know, they give us skill levels in this pool

(08:30):
League, One through 91 being thelowest, not being the highest.
Oh, you're a three I'll. Get into it.
So I started out in the league as a three.
Everybody. When you join, they make you a
three and then you work your wayup or down based on your skill
level. I had dropped all the way to a

(08:52):
one at one point and I worked myway up to A3 recently, maybe if
like sometime last season, and then I lost and went right back
down to a 2 so I was only a three for like a week at most.
Wait. So.
So one is the highest you could be, a nine is the lowest.

(09:12):
No, no, no one is the lowest. Like 1 is like you, you you kind
of suck bro. Yeah, 9 is the highest. 9 is
like you go on 9 ball runs everytime and you could you could
carry a game by yourself. OK.
So I had became a three, I was athree for like a week and then I

(09:35):
went back to down to a 2. So I've most consistently been a
2 and I'm really good as a 2. But that's like second to the
lowest. So is that something you want to
tell people anyway? I'm dead for real, like.
I don't mean I don't matter. Like a lot of folks be like, Oh,
you're a 2. Like, you know, if you, if

(09:56):
you're a team, if something happens, like you could come
join our team because low level skill players are valuable
because there's like a whole bunch of other rules about like
skill caps and your team can't be, you know, this much better
numerically than the other team. But for the tournament, this
tournament in particular, the world qualifier that we had this
past this weekend, the the ruleswere and it was it was like for

(10:21):
this tournament, you must enter your players as one of the
following and one of them is like the highest skill level
that they have played in an official APA league match.
The high skill level that or thehighest skill level that the
player and the team agrees that they can play at or the highest

(10:43):
skill level that they have played in in a tournament or
something like that. And it was, it was like 5
different caveats. And I was like, why do they work
this like this? And I was like, I've been a two
most of the time and I don't, itdoesn't seem right that I should
play as a three if I was only a three for like a week during
league play. That's not like my most
consistent skill level. Does that make sense?

(11:04):
No, it doesn't. But continue.
It's a lot of sports jargon and a lot of stuff was going on.
I didn't know what was happening, what you were talking
about, just I'm sure that our listeners did.
OK, but anyway, Long story short, 3 is not my most
consistent skill level, but I did play as a three in a

(11:24):
tournament because that is the highest skill level that I have
reached in regularly play. But I was doing pretty good.
I was playing as three, I playedA5 and I was, I was beating them
low key because different skill levels need a different amount
of points to win. I needed 25 points to win the
game. He needed like 38.
So when he was at like when he was at like 9 points, I'm, I

(11:47):
think I had like 11 and I and I kept like this small lead until
like toward the like, I want to say like mid game.
And then he's, it's like he justwarmed up and woke up and like
he's like, Oh yeah, I'm a five. Let me start playing like it and
start crushing shit. But we didn't get to finish the
game because every other, not every other, but like my other

(12:09):
team mates had lost enough to where the other team had enough
points to win the match. So there was like, Oh yeah, like
y'all can stop. Y'all don't have to finish y'all
game. They got 53 points and three
wins. You know, let's keep it moving.
So is that that y'all play at the same time?
Some of us so like we'll, I think at most we'll have like 2
people playing at the same time from the same team.

(12:32):
Yeah. And so the second match, like
after that, I felt unsatisfied. I was like, damn, I was playing
this dude. I was doing real well.
I was, I was like, I think I could have like came back and
whooped his ass and I would, andthat would have been very, you
know, satisfying for me, but I was, I was denied.
So the our next match came around and I was like, look, I'm
playing fucking first because I need and I need like resolution.

(12:56):
I need to, you know, I need to rectify this.
So I get, I get, I get, I turn my music on like I get on the
jukebox playing some songs and Ilike crush it, Jerry.
I fucking kill it. But I was playing a three, so we
were both threes. So we both needed 25 points to
win the game. I end up winning the game like

(13:18):
25 to 7. OK, so you play like 3-6 mafia
or something? Yeah, I did play a Three 6 Mafia
song. I play, I gotta stay fly.
OK. Academy Award winners?
Yeah. I thought you played.

(13:40):
What's that song? It's like fight, fight, fight,
fight. I know that song.
Fight, fight, fight, fight. Fight.
Fight. Fight.
Fight. Fight.
Fight. Fight.
Fight. Fight, fight, fight, fight,
fight. That's.
Only work. That's only right now.
The fight at the beginning, it'sabout to be some here now.

(14:01):
Yeah, that's the only part I. Know, maybe we're not thinking
the same song, but anyway, so went out Friday night, hung out
my boy Evan. This was before the tournament
because the tournament was Saturday and Sunday.
Hung out with my boy Evan. He recently, you know, got left
the company. So I was like just trying to
kick it with him and you know, make sure he was good.

(14:24):
We end up going to like this runclub social.
And so I'm thinking, I'm going in thinking like, oh, like we're
going to meet. Like we're going to meet.
I'm going to meet a bunch of like runners.
No, not at all. Apparently it's just like a
social gathering. So I mean, I'm meeting a lot of
like socially awkward people whoare like trying to force
themselves to be social, but they also like there were also

(14:45):
some cool people there. But it was like when we walked
in, I very quickly noticed that people were only talking to me
because I was with Evan. And Evan's like, you know, white
guy, like 5-10, blonde hair, blue eyes.
Like whenever we go, whenever wego out with Evan, me and my
friends, whenever we go out withEvan, Evan always gets

(15:06):
attention. Some girl is always trying to
talk to Evan. We used to go out with Evan and
his ex-girlfriend and like we'llbe at the club and girls will
like try to be trying to like pull Evan and dance with him and
his girlfriend. Have to pop up and be like,
that's my man. No, that's not what's popping
around here. So Evan is fine.
Let me see his Instagram. My phone is as my camera and I

(15:28):
don't wait. Maybe I can I can log on
Instagram from the computer? Let me see his Instagram.
Let me see his Instagram since he's so fine.
I didn't say that. I said that he gets a lot of
attention from women. Since he is so fine, go ahead

(15:52):
and see his I'm. Not going.
I'm not going to say it out loud, but I'm gonna send you a
link. Send me a link on my phone on
Instagram. Oh yeah, I can listen to you on

(16:13):
Instagram. I can just share his profile
with you. Why is it?
Why is share on Instagram not anoption on Instagram when it
comes to sharing somebody profile?
It's weird. Oh my God, just say it out loud.
I'm. Not gonna say it out loud.
Hey, for the boy out there like that.
It's his Instagram, he probably wants you to follow him.

(16:37):
He he was like the social media manager at work.
So maybe that there there could be some truth to that, but I'm
gonna send you this link. Not now notifications,
especially not on my computer. Boom, boom.
There you go. So.

(16:59):
OK, so let's see how fine he is.And then and if that's a.
His profile is black. He doesn't start that.
I mean maybe if I was white I would see it like his profile is
actually blocked so. Oh, it's like private.

(17:19):
Yeah, it's private. Oh yeah?
Well. Yeah, it's not.
Yeah. Am I lagging to you?
No. OK.
Cool. Oh yes, you are.
Yeah. Oh your camera messed up you
need to actually get a new computer because I switched from

(17:44):
my MacBook Pro to my gaming laptop that I don't use no more
and all my camera issues are dying like I don't have camera
issues anymore. I just decreased the frame rate
a little bit. Maybe that'll help.
But yeah, so. And it's Saturday.
I'm starting to feel this so twoshots and I haven't drunken in a

(18:10):
while. Jared, this is rookie numbers.
This is not who you are. I haven't drunk anymore, but I
was like, no, I didn't take shots in college.
I I carry my own Pilot Ciroc poured from that bottle, so
that's shots I I guess, but I just.
Like yeah, about to say what? How, how is this not shots?
What are you talking? What are you mixing it with?

(18:31):
Because if nothing. Nothing.
Just so Saturday after the attorney hung out with one of my
teammates a little bit gave us like dating advice.
That was pretty dope. Me and him got the, you know,
got the bond a little bit through that and then went out
with like when he hung out with one of my exes and it was not

(18:54):
bad. Does your current girlfriend
know that it's one of your? And then what happened?
Like I told her nothing like we hung it like we walked and
talked a lot, which I didn't expect.
I thought we was gonna like go out.
It's like kind of like party a little bit dance, you know, I'm
saying she don't drink. So I thought we was gonna just
go out. We gonna, we gonna party and
then we gonna call it. But we ended up like walking and

(19:16):
talking just like catching up each other's lives.
Like who we, who, you know who we're dating now and it's kind
of like just rehashed some stuff.
So conversations that we had when we were breaking up.

(19:39):
And how are things now? They're cool.
I mean, yeah, they were. They're cool.
I think we can like, I think we'll, we, we can probably hang
out a little more. We'll see how it goes.
Because I had 'cause being full transparency, I had been like
avoiding after we broke up, she was like, oh, DeMarcus, I would
like to be friends. You know, I don't want to lose

(20:01):
you after my, my life, etcetera, etcetera.
And I was like, I'm like, I'm not really interested in being
your friend because we did not have a friendship at the start.
So we will be building a new friendship.
And I don't know. I don't know if that's what I'm
looking for with you. And I remember that one.
So you you didn't smash, you didn't want to.

(20:23):
I didn't smash Jerry. Is this the one that you were
like? I doesn't like giving hack.
Whoa, no. It wasn't that one, no.
I don't know. I think I know who you're
talking about, but no, no. OK, so she likes getting hacked

(20:47):
'cause 'cause you like receivinghead a lot.
I think we're, I think we're youjust was getting on me about how
this is not a sexual podcast. Oh yeah, let me take a shot
like. Hell, hell of sexual questions.
No, I'm, oh, no, I'm clarifying.I'm clarifying.
Trying to know where my wee wee at.
Is your does? Is it detachable?
Did you hide trying? To know where you trying to

(21:09):
figure out where my wee wee be at?
Is it detachable? DeMarcus, What are you talking
about? Where's your wee wee at?
You you trying to figure out where it'd be at?
Would I be doing with it? No, because you said that one of
your ex's did not like giving head and you liked the receiving
head and you were like I don't got to tell this girl that we
got it handed if she don't give me the head right now.

(21:32):
If she ain't trying to yummy this gummy.
So it wasn't her. OK, so that was.
If I if I have dated women who are like who had the attitude
like I don't like give me a head.
When we started dating, they that attitude did not sustain

(21:52):
through the relationship. At some point they got on the
head train. OK, so that was a clarifying
question, not you making a mature joke, so I do not take.
I feel like I've made a lot of mature jokes and you just
haven't taken the shots. Like I said, litty like a titty
earlier, that didn't count. No 'cause I didn't get it the

(22:13):
first time so I have to ask the immediate but.
It's got it's got to hit you theright way.
And and was is Lily like a tittya joke?
Cardi B says it. OK, OK.
Well, alright, DeMarcus. How was your weekend or how's
your week? Oh girl, my week.

(22:38):
It's been uneventful, this one, really uneventful.
I've been on my treadmill. I pumped it up to 2.6 so that
are there. I want some movies.
One movie that I saw that is notgoing to be in my pick of the

(23:01):
week is Killer of Killers. It is the animated anime of
Anthology of the Predator or Predators coming to Earth to
fight some people throughout history.
And then it ends and it's like awhole interconnected.

(23:22):
Story So what's that on? Hulu.
OK nice, I checked it out. Killer of killers.
Yeah, check it out. Check it out.
But really, besides applying forjobs, sleeping, trying to make
it through Expedition 33 becauseI they say to make it to the end

(23:45):
of Act one and I'm just so. Bored.
I haven't played it in a while either, but I have a Co worker
and we talked about that game a lot and he's already beat it.
Like he beat it weeks ago and hewas telling me that it's it's a
bit of a shorter game for the type of game it is.
Like yeah, yeah, for like it's not, it's not like 100 hour
game. Yeah, I mean.

(24:07):
Things were like I think you told.
Me 35. 35 Whoa, way lower. Yeah, but I don't know, I just
get sleepy and I just be wantingto do other things when I play
it. Yeah, exactly.
So yeah. Sorry, but you're streaming it,
so of course you wanna do other things 'cause it's not even it's
lagging. I mean, you know, it, it depends

(24:30):
on when I play. Like if I'm playing like at
night when everybody using the Internet, yeah, it's going to
lag a little bit. But if I play like during the
day on the weekend or, you know,if I pick the right the right
night, like it's usually pretty good.
It's my point, but. Yeah, and on Xbox I can cross
play between my PC and my Xbox. So like I was playing on my

(24:52):
Xbox, but I'm sorry to play on my PC, right?
It's pump up the cheats and try to wow.
It is like expeditionally expeditiously because it's not
fun for me. I just need to get to the fun
part and go. But yeah, nothing's going on in
my world for. You got to cheat to beat a

(25:17):
pirate. That plays, yeah.
All the time. Missed you, I'll be.
I'll be at work, I'll be at the pool league, I'll be at the pool
games. Like, how about you got a cheat
to beat me, motherfucker? Alright, the mic, is this the
priority show? Where?
Oh, wait, wait, I got, I got a couple more things.

(25:38):
OK. I mean, why didn't you say it
during? 'Cause I didn't remember it and
then I remember it. So, you know, I've been doing
this like intermittent fasting thing and like, we don't just
like weight loss journey. Yeah, yeah.
I've officially lost 20 lbs. OK, Weigh myself early this week
and I'm 169. Congratulations.
Yeah, boys, that. Was the other thing.

(26:00):
Yeah, boy, you had said something that made me think of
something. Yeah, when I when I end up
hanging out with my ex. I was actually it was actually
after I had had is after the pool lost the pool tournament,
got kicked out. I went and had drinks with Evan.
Not that was Friday night. I went and had drinks with one
of my one of my coworkers who's also on the pool team.

(26:23):
And then I was like, oh, I was like, I was like, instead of
going, I was like, oh, instead of like trying to go out, I
should go home and just chill, like make dinner, play video
games. But I just really didn't want
to, man. That was the other thing I was
going to say. So you were saying about Evan,
how people were only talking to you because he was there and

(26:46):
then that's. What it felt like because like,
people will come up. They will like, and like, they
will angle their bodies toward him.
And then they would like, turn to me like, oh, hey, you know,
my name's so and so. And then, like, to me, it felt
very obvious that this conversation was for Evan.

(27:06):
All right, so this is the time of the show where we actually
give a shout out to our favoritesponsor, Movie Pass DeMarcus,
can you please tell them about the lovely benefits of getting a
Movie Pass subscription? Absolutely.

(27:27):
So some might be so bold movies has a subscription based service
that allows you to just watch multiple movies in theaters for
a monthly fee. So you're paying one time going
to see, you know, more than one movie is paying for itself after
the first after the first month. You know what I'm saying?
It was designed to make movie going more affordable, more
accessible, offering plans that like and maybe you see a certain

(27:50):
of movies per month based on like how many credits you have
and how you in which movies you go see.
Of course, like you know, Fridaynight, Thursday night premiere
is going to cost more credits than like a Tuesday matinee of a
movie that's been in been in thetheaters for like 3 weeks or
something like that. So typically you gonna receive
your little MasterCard, your MoviePass card, which is a

(28:12):
MasterCard in the mail and you can use it like a debit card
while you're at the theater. You do have to go into the app
and unlock it, but other than that it's easy peasy.
So do you use the physical card or do you just use the numbers
'cause I just use the numbers inthe app?
I do just use the numbers in theapp ever since we've been
sponsored by them or when I had my account, I did have a

(28:34):
physical card and I would use itand when we first switched over
to being sponsored, I was tryingto use the physical card but I
it didn't work. And that's when I can't remember
his name, but the the customer support guy had to picks me up
picks me up with a new account. Alright, so this week I'm going

(28:57):
to give a shout out to one of the best movies that I've seen
and one of the contenders for best Movie of the year for the
Jardo Awards 2020. I'm really feeling distrait.
Yes, this movie is called Straw. It is a new movie by Tyler

(29:21):
Perry. Oh, I've heard of this.
Yes, it is on Netflix. It's starting Taraji B Henson
and. I love a good Taraji movie.
Sherri, Sherri Shepherd and evenbad you don't know who Sherri
Shepherd is from the view and Sinbad even makes a surprise

(29:45):
guest appearance. I love how he brings back all of
the legends but this was such a good movie.
The 1st 30 minutes child. So what's it about?
It's about this mother who was going through probably one of

(30:06):
the worst, horrible, no good, very bad days of her life.
This is really a a bad day for her.
And she eventually snaps and something happens and she goes
to cash or check that she got from her job and people think

(30:30):
it's a stick up. The police get involved and the
police is paid. Played by Tiana Taylor, who has
the most amazing body by the way, Bill.
Like if I have anything in the world, it would be Tiana
Taylor's body. And so Tiana Taylor in this

(30:52):
movie, is playing. Like would y'all switch bodies
or would you just take her body from her and she has nobody now?
Oh yeah, no, I don't. I don't need nobody in my body
but take her body. But I mean, this movie was kind
of weird because she was a cop in full glam, like the full it's

(31:13):
of her face, like and all of herstuff was fitted and you know,
cops don't have fitted stuff. But but she looked amazing as
usual. But it was a very good, very,
very, extremely good movie and everybody needs to see it.
I love that movie. It's already on my nominees for

(31:35):
Best Movie for 2025. All right, now shout out TP and
TPJ. No H.
Hey, and Tyler Perry and Sorachiand Tiana Taylor.
TP was Tyler Perry, TPH is Sorachi.
And TT. And TT.

(31:57):
So do you have anything that youwant to put them on to this
week? Man, I actually don't man Oh
well. That'll make something up right
now. We can do restaurants.
OK, restaurants in San Francisco, Yeah.
Yeah, well, it's in. It's in San Jose or like
Milpitas, San Jose area. That's pissing me off, so I'm
going to take another train 'cause you had all week to think

(32:20):
of things that you want to put people on too and you haven't
even came up with 1 so. All I've been doing, all I've
been watching for real, is Hitamar, you know, Hitamaru
Sumo. So why isn't that the pick of
the week? Because I did that one last
week. No, you didn't.
I didn't tell you. I feel like I've told you all

(32:40):
about I saw. I told the audience about
Hitamaru Sumo when I started watching it.
What is that about? It's a, it's a, it's a sumo
wrestling anime, like a sports anime.
I haven't said anything about sumo.
I'll see anime. Oh my God do I get see?
You pay attention to what you say on this podcast.
Sometimes I get my shot. You are really pissing me off,

(33:01):
right? Now shot #3 shot #3 Yes, Aaron,
yes. Let the alcohol flow through
you. So anyway, what are you playing
them on to this? Week no, I'll put him on
Hitamaru sumo. I think it's called Hitamaru
sumo. I hope I'm saying it right, but

(33:23):
it's a sports anime about sumo wrestling and it's really good.
Like the the main character is like he was like a sumo
wrestling. He's like a real talented.
He is a really talented sumo wrestler and in like elementary
school and middle school he was like really good or in
elementary school he was really good and got up to a point where
he was like, but like almost oneof the like almost a elementary

(33:47):
school yokozuna or something like that.
You know, Yokozuna is like the the the top single man.
I don't. Well, I just told you, hey, you
know, Yokozuna is the top Superman, but it's he know Maru
sumo. Yeah, I was saying it right.
OK. But so, but then he's like, he

(34:08):
like everyone he gets to middle school.
Everyone else is having these growth spurts and getting
bigger. And he's not.
So he stays short and so he loses to somebody and then he
gets like this this master who'slike, hey, you need to take, you
need to stop competing. And for the next three years,
just work on your work on your body and work on your sumo
wrestling technique because you're not growing.

(34:31):
And for you to stay competitive, you don't have to really, you
know, because you don't have to really put in some work.
And so he does, he gets to high school, I want to say, and he's
trying to go to like the top high school for sumo wrestling,
which is crazy to say out loud that there's a high school
that's like sumo wrestling is our sport.
And this is what we this is whatwe known for.

(34:52):
But he ends up going to his like, sort of like no name
school. And he's like, because he makes
a friend there and then in the beginning of the show.
So they like put together A-Teamand it's it's, it's it's dope.
It's like a very much like coming of age friendship.
Oh my God. Let's like we're getting like we
are. We're like we're learning and
growing together and helping each other with our flaws as we

(35:15):
learn sumo wrestling together. So yeah.
Yeah, you have never talked about this.
Really. Really, in our anime that you're
watching and the recap of anime that you're watching and any of
the pics of the weeks, You have never talked about this show,
huh? I thought I did.
You must have been talking to Evan because you haven't been

(35:39):
talking to us since he's your best friend.
I don't talk to him about anime.I don't think everyone watches
anime. Well, you were talking to
somebody and it wasn't us on this show, so.
I probably put it in my head to say it.
I was like, I was like, I was like, I made a mental note and I
was like, oh, I'm gonna talk about it next time on the
podcast. And then we had the podcast and
then I didn't. And then I was like, oh, I must

(36:01):
have talked about it since I've been watching this show.
I'm like 20 episodes deep and we've had like a few, you know,
podcast episodes. Never.
I'm glad you. I'm glad you told me.
I've never mentioned it. So I got I had idea something to
put the put the people on to Hino Maru Sumo.
You are pissing me off and I if I think I already took a shot

(36:23):
for me and pissed off for the sumo thing and my head is
feeling kind of woozy right now so I'm not going to take another
shot for the same thing. But DeMarcus, do you have a fun
and easy game this week? I have a fun game.

(36:43):
OK, I have a if. You don't have a funny easy
game, We can skip it, no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
And it is going to be kind of easy.
You don't have to think too hardbecause.
I can't think at all right now. OK, great.
It'll be easy peasy. So if it's the first time doing

(37:05):
this, the way the games work is DeMarcus is the king of games
around here. The judge during an executioner
of all questions, answers, winners and losers.
Today's game, it's going to be Quick Fire Jared.
I haven't really thought of a name for it, so it's going to be
a quick fire game. I am going to tell you or I'm

(37:27):
going to let you choose. Either I tell you the actor's
name and you tell me what character they played, or I tell
you the character's name and youtell me what actor they played
and it's quick. Or so it's like I tell you the
name, you tell me the name, I'lltell you the name, you tell me
the name. If you don't know, pass and we
and we going quick. I want to pass on this whole

(37:54):
experience it'll. Be fun, Jerry, Believe in
yourself. 'Cause you already know how I am
with names. I don't know these people, I
don't know these. We can do I don't know.
And we'll just do the, I tell you, 'cause I don't know the

(38:17):
actors. So yeah, it's weird.
I would know the characters so OK.
And and to be fair, Jared, like this is going to be like there.
I do have like a spread of difficulty here.
And I'll even give you a little look under the hood, as it were,
in that they, the names are in sets of five and every fifth one

(38:37):
is super easy. And they get easier the closer
we get to the, you know, every fifth one.
So 5 is real easy, 10 is real easy, 15 is real easy, etcetera,
etcetera. But like #1 might be kind of
hard #6 might be kind of hard. Just just do it to Marcus.
Just like the embarrassment happen.
You ready? Yeah, just whatever.

(38:59):
It's going to be embarrassing anyway so I don't even care.
OK, and here we so I am telling you, the actor, you are telling
me the character. Yes.
OK, all right, here we go. Mark Wahlberg.
Number one, Naomi Harris. Naomi Harris?

(39:22):

No, but no, no, no, no, no, no. I thought that part would have
been the obvious guy. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no, no. You said you named the actor.
I named what they were in. I can name any day that they

(40:54):
were. In no no name the number name
the comic or superhero character.
You can't chase the I'm not changing the rules.
These are the rules the entire time.
And I thought he would understand that.
Hey, such a twink ass up. You didn't say.
That number 4 #4. Kumar was in the Eternals.

(41:15):
OK, which what was the? What was the character?

(41:35):

you don't really care about Pride Month.
It's all month. I got all month.
No, you're supposed to say it ofgene in the month.
You are supposed to say it of gene in the month.
So can you tell me what I got right and wrong please?

(51:41):

knew you were somehow Iman Velani.
I did not say that, girl. You did say that girl Iman
Velani is Miss Marvel, Leticia Wright is Sheree.
You got that one right. Oscar Isaac is Moon Night or I
would have accepted Spider Man 2099 from the animated joint.

(53:59):
Simi Lou was Shang Chi it's #16 I gave you half credit because
you had already said Lewis Tan was Shang Chi and you said that
Simulu was in the movie Shang Chi which is true half credit.
Benedict Wong is Wong from Doctor Strange, you couldn't
remember his name but you remember he was in Doctor
Strange half credit. Zazzy B is Domino, you got that

(54:22):
one right. Chloe Bennett was Daisy Johnson
and Quake in Agents of SHIELD. Halle Berry is Storm and.
Catwoman and. Catwoman and Catwoman.
I just hold on. Let me finish my *** Damn.
Calm your drunk ass down. Halle Berry was storm drunk and

was in Watchmen. I'll never forget it.
He was in Watchmen. Oh he, oh, he was in the
Watchmen TV series. I said the Watchmen TV series

(55:24):

I'll give credit for that one. Gryffindor.
I'll give you credit for that one.
Yeah, 7 points to Gryffindor. Absolutely.
Well, let me find him a place. Let me find him a place here.

All right, right. Where was he?
Hawkman. That that may not have been him.
Yeah, that's what I wrote down and that was wrong.
But you. Did say.
But you did say he was in Watchmen, so I just have credit
for that. No, I get full credit.
I just get credit 'cause you said college.
You said the blue guy and his name is not the blue guy.

(56:12):
His name is Doctor Manhattan. Oh my God, DeMarcus.
Oh my God, you're pissing me. Oh, I got to take a drink. 23
Jessica Alba. She was Sue Storm in the
Fantastic Four. George.
Came out yet? This is a 2005 Fantastic Four
bro, and the 2007 one George Clooney was Batman, which I

(56:34):
couldn't believe you didn't get.Ain't nobody checking for those
white foes. Chadwick Boseman was T'challa,
you got that one right. And in the final five here Tessa
Thompson was Valkyrie and Thor Ragnarok.
Weston Snipes is Blade, you got that one right.

(56:56):
Terrence Howard is War Machine AKA James Rhodes Roadie.
Jamie Foxx is Electro, you got that one right as well.
And then Anthony Mackie is Captain America, the Falcon, Sam
Wilson. So that's two points.
No, Still one point, still 11 character.

(57:16):
OK, well. Alright, so.
Well, now it's 2 characters 'cause I said two names so.
So you need to do. You got 13 points, Jared.
Almost. Actually got 27 points so.
You got almost half of those. That was pretty good.

(57:36):
How did you like that game? How did that one, how did that
one, how did that one sit with you?
That game was done because it wasn't.
Bad space game. That that game, it wasn't fair.
It wasn't fair. OK, well, we won't do nothing
like that no more. Because you have to show a
picture. Or maybe, or maybe that's what
I'll do next time I'll like get the pictures because as I was
making it, I was like, this might be easier for him with the
pictures because. Lewis Tan was Shatter star in

(58:00):
Deadpool. Did you look that up just now?
No. OK, because Lewis Tan was Cole
Young in Mortal Kombat. And he was shadow star in
Deadpool. You didn't know that.

(58:29):
I didn't. OK, that's, that's funny.
That's funny. You didn't know that because you
were doing. That's not what you said.
So, well, that's what I'm. Saying he was saying cheat.
That's what I meant. Way off, but yeah, cool.
Jerry, I think, I think you did pretty good in that game, bro.

(58:50):
Like some of those sections, like the last section, you got
all of them except one. Like you, you guessed them all
right, except Tessa Thompson Valkyrie in that last section.
What did I say? I said Valkyrie.
No, no, no, you said she was in Guardians of the Galaxy.
She was in Guardians of the Galaxy.

(59:13):
I can't. I can double check it.
She was in Guardians of the Galaxy, the last one.
Yeah, because she was with. Who is she?
Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
Yeah, Well, yeah, she's Valkyrie.
Yeah, she's Valkyrie, and she was that's.

(59:33):
Not what you said. I said Guardians of the Galaxy.
'Cause I I thought she was in she was Valkyrie and Thor she.
She is Valkyrie and Thor, but she was also in Guardians of the
Galaxy. I keep all the Thor stuff coming

(59:57):
up. Hold on.
Wait a minute. All right.
Valkyrie is part of the MCU. She has not been featured in any
of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.
You tried it. You tried it.
And I actually said that she wasin Avengers End Game when she
was in. Now you said it, she was #26 and

(01:00:23):
you said Guardians of the Galaxy.
I took notes. You don't know what I said.
Your best. Said you said Sasha Kelly was in
in. A bastard.
Jerry, I think this this might have been the wrong episode for
you to get drunk on, because nowyou now we got to go to the
topic and you got to tell us about some superheroes.
First of all, I've never been drunk in my Life, OK?

(01:00:47):
Yeah, I'll get in the comments and tell Jerry he's drunk right
now. Why they had to be in the
comics. I'm telling you that I've never
been drunk. I know about me, so why don't
you tell me? Pull up the chat.
The mark is there talking on TikTok right now.
So they're saying I've never been drunk in my life.
Pull up the chat. So and KJ said I've never been

(01:01:09):
drunk my whole life when he was on the show.
So you're a liar. KJ never said that.
He did. The mic is you're pissing me.
Off, take another shot. So the mic is Tell me a
superhero. Gosh, my head feels woozy.
Tell me a superhero and I will tell you how they're doing in

(01:01:34):
comics. God, Oh my God.
Oh my God, how many have I done? The first one, the first one I

(01:01:57):
want to, I think it's like your fifth shot.
Now this is more than 5. Things like 5 or 6, I want to we
we've seen Doctor Voodoo show upin the Storm comics a little
bit. What's what's going on with?
Him. And that's where we saw him.
Doctor Voodoo has been in so he has been doing a lot in the

(01:02:20):
Strange Academy which was the Academy that Doctor Strange had
in New Orleans for all of the Super powered kids that had a
magical tents to their superpowers.
But after Doom started ruling the Marvel Universe, that was
shut down and now there's a DoomAcademy.

(01:02:42):
So all of the students that werestill present in the Strange
Academy had to transfer over to the Doom Academy, and Doctor
Voodoo is currently in. Bavaria.
Haiti. No, Haiti as seen in the storm.
So that's all I know about Doctor Voodoo for right now.

(01:03:05):
OK. What's going on with Beta Ray
Bill? Because I've seen, I've seen
ants or like I've seen coming uplike the like a battle of the
storm or something kind of crossover event.
Yeah. So Beta Ray Bill is supposed to
be an invasion, but Beta Ray Bill was last seen in the door

(01:03:27):
comic. He first was seen doing some
wielding the hammer again. When?
Yes. Or Stormbreaker.
No, he willed it Monir again. It was him, Storm, Loki,
everybody who willed it Monir. They had to go up against the

(01:03:52):
Ootguard, Thor or Ootgard, who is Thor's father Oden.
OK, the Ootgard Oden or whateverto defeat him.
They all had to be there and they all could only will the
hammer for 5 minutes where they had to pass it.

(01:04:13):
So he was last seen in a fighting capacity there.
He was also seen in a, you know, non fighting capacity indoor
just being a background character to the plots going on
there. OK nice.
That's beta right there. With the with the the wielding

(01:04:33):
the hammer for only 5 minutes, is that like they were coming
unworthy after 5 minutes or something?
What's going on? No, no, no, no.
The the hammers power would wearoff so he would have it and then
so they would wield it and then they would give to somebody
else. So when somebody else had it,

(01:04:54):
the five minute timer would start and then their power start
to wane. And it was like tossing to
somebody. You'd be a little fight.
Cool, that's cool. I'm trying to think if there's
anything else I want to ask about.
That see, I'm not drunk. Yeah, you're, I mean, you're

(01:05:14):
still super knowledgeable. I know.
Can you tell me what's up with what's been going on with Sylac?
Sylac, OK. Sylac, of course, split between
her and Bessie Braddock during the Cocoa era.
So Sylac is no longer Bessie Braddock.

(01:05:36):
And do you know about that? I.
Didn't know about that. OK, so in the past, before Betsy
Braddock's psyche went into thisAsian lady that gave her all of
the like martial arts stuff. So that person was Quannon.
The original Psylocke is named Quannon KWANNON.

(01:06:00):
So after quick, no, that's the that's cannon.
Yeah. So after Coco started, they were
able to resurrect the original Quannon, who was the original
sideline to be in her own body. So they resurrected the original

(01:06:22):
Quannon. They put Betsy's mind back into
her body. So the original No back in Betsy
Braddock's body. Right.
Yeah, 'cause she's a cause. Betsy is a English white woman.
Claning is a Asian person. So the Asian silox that we're
used to seeing is actually quanning.

(01:06:43):
Yes, that's correct. OK.
OK, so now Betsy Braddock post Cocoa cause no cocoa fell.
Yep, is in leagues with Grey Malkin.
I think that's his name. Who is a villain who can change
his who can change the his cybernetics could be any type of

(01:07:09):
person. He's a villain, but they're in
love. And she is a member of the
Alaskan X-Men. Oh.
X-Men. Yeah.
So she what? What up there?
The X-Men in Alaska are currently currently facing

(01:07:32):
another group of X-Men that's led by Cassandra Nova, who is
Professor Xavier's twin in the womb.
So, so she is. So they are fighting them
currently. Of course they defeated them,
but there is another I'm trying to pull up all this information

(01:07:57):
in the depths of my brain and it's not great job.
So, so they are fighting them. They're easily defeated them but
they are there is a a human who is their leader who is going to
their base while Magneto is fighting.

(01:08:20):
They a big Kaiju monster who with a Sentinel and the only
person who was in the base. Is Magneto was teamed up with a
Sentinel? No, no, no.
Yes, yes. He's not teamed up with them,
he's controlling it. The only person in the base that
can fight them is Beast and Glob, and that's how the story

(01:08:42):
ended. But and Quinnen Psylocke is a
member of that team. She also has her own comic book
and she had just defeated this not a meeting, but he was a
human who was the form who splice a lot of animals

(01:09:02):
together. And he was trying to splice
Sylac with some animals. And now Sylac is possessed by
something. And she went to the New Orleans
X-Men to find out what she was possessed by.
And because the New Orleans X-Men has this new member who
was like dead, but I think as hard as he can become dead and

(01:09:26):
alive or something. So he went to, she went to the
New Orleans X-Men to find her, to find him, talk to him, see
what's going on with ping him and magic.
And now she's in Japan to find her long lost daughter.
So that's Cylon. Oh nice, so and what's messy

(01:09:49):
Braddock doing she's I don't think I think I could might cut
you off when you was about to gointo.
It right, Bessie Braddock is a member of the X force, which is
there by Forge, right? Is this is hard to Marcus?
I'm using like all of my resources here.

(01:10:12):
OK, Betsy Braddock is remember the ex forces led by forge, who
is trying to stop all these portals from opening.
And so they have and and Betsy is in a in a relationship with
Rachel Gray, who is Jean Grey and silence alternative

(01:10:33):
dimensions daughter. Wait, so Dean Grey and Psylox
alternative? No Jean Grey and Scott, sorry.
OK, OK, Cyclops. Yes, Cyclops.
I'm like, wait a minute. Yeah.
Yeah, she's their alternative dimensions daughter and yeah.

(01:10:58):
The X-Men that you mentioned, who can become dead, is that
Trinity? No, the X-Men that I mentioned
is a brand new X-Men. It's like him and three other
people that just started when the Uncanny X-Men comics
started. So they are brand new.

(01:11:18):
And I think this comic book is written by GAIL Simone, OK.
So. She made-up these people and
they're they're brand new to X-Men universe.
Oh, nice. OK, it's that's an uncanny.
OK, what issue if you can remember?
Well, he started out issue 1. Oh, this is a new run of

(01:11:42):
uncanny. Yes, a new run that it's post
Krakowa. I think I'm reading it OK, or
you're reading that I haven't. Maybe I haven't started Uncanny
yet. I think I started.
What is the other adjective X-Men that they have running
now? Is it this new X-Men?
Excalibur. Not Excalibur.

(01:12:03):
Exceptional No. I think I'm reading Uncanny and
I'm reading Adjective list XX man.
So you and a candy is in New Orleans, right?
I haven't started it yet. I started it started adjective
list X. Man, but you're not reading it.
You just are. Going to read it, correct?
Yeah, I stand correct. I'm going to read it.

(01:12:24):
OK, OK, OK. Tell me about my boy
Nightcrawler man. Nightcrawler.
Are we only doing Marvel people or can I ask about DC?
You can ask about anybody in comments.
I read everything. Got you.
So Nightcrawler is a part of theNew Orleans X-Men, the Uncanny

(01:12:45):
X-Men. That team is like the old
members are Rogue, Gambit, Jubilee, Nightcrawler and
Wolverine. So Nightcrawler is a part of
that. Nightcrawler hasn't really been
doing much, no real big story beats, but Nightcrawler has been

(01:13:06):
a huge part of that scene, you know, rescuing people and stuff
like that. So no real big story beats on
Nightcrawlers story, but Crocolathe inter Crocola saw
Nightcrawler and Mystique havinga big revelation with Mystique

(01:13:26):
finally figuring out that she was the sperm.
Well, not the sperm donor, but the well, what's?
Yeah, sperm donor for Nightcrawler implanted in
Destiny. So when you say implanted you
make it sound like they didn't have sex but it was fucking.
Oh no, they weren't having sex, but.

(01:13:49):
He was conceived traditionally. Kinda.
As traditionally as a. As as recently as as can because
Mystique powers were expanded orthey were figured out to be that
she can copy the DNA somebody and Mystique cannot conceive,

(01:14:12):
but she can impregnate what she did with her.
And then somehow Destiny put Nightcrawler back into Mystique
and. And mystique delivered.
And Mystique delivered correct here did.

(01:14:34):
You want that? Would you want a partner who
could change their genitalia? No, I would not.
Strictly dickly, yes. I've answered that before,
DeMarcus. I don't.
I didn't recall. Man, you don't listen so.
What's the? Next person.

(01:14:55):
The next person flat line. Flat line.
Yeah, from, let's see, the DC character from Robin, Lazarus
Planet and Lazarus Planet. Flat line.
Yeah, like you told me to do, like some lesser known people.
That may be too less alone. OK for me.

(01:15:18):
Hold on. Let me see if I know who
flatline is. Flat line.
Let's see. Who is this?
OK, let me start again. Comic.
Oh. Oh, that's Robin's new Boo.

(01:15:40):
Yeah, that's Robin's new Boo. So, Robin, what's his name?
It's not Dick Grayson. It's not it's it's it's Batman's
actual son. See, DeMarcus, you had me
drinking so hard that I don't know who did who.

(01:16:02):
Batman's actual son is Dick Grayson.
Damian Damian, Damian Wayne. So Damian Wayne had a Boo that
he met on Skull Island which wasa during a tournament that they
could not die from. So he met this Boo there and

(01:16:25):
then they kindle up this little relationship going on.
So Flatline just came back in the comic in Batman and Robin.
I'm not really current on Batmanand Robin, but Flatline just
came back in Batman and Robin and and, you know, did some
hygiene, did some stuff, solve the crime with them.

(01:16:49):
And yeah, their relationship is still going strong, but that's
on Damien's food. OK, nice, cute.
Do do do do do do do do. Have you heard of City Boy?
City boy, who is that? He can he's he appears in the

(01:17:13):
like the Action Comics, the DC'sAction Comics, and he can speak
to cities themselves. Oh, yes, yes, yes.
He was in his own little comic where.
And it was really this nice little thing.
I thought he was going to be bigger, but it wasn't bigger

(01:17:34):
than what it is like he hasn't shown up since his own little
comic and he can talk to the cities themselves.
It was like a a introductory comic, kind of.
Yeah. He hasn't showed up since then.
And and he, he had this thing with his father where he was,
you know, trying to reconcile orsomething with his father.

(01:17:59):
And he did reconcile that nothing really came with that he
hasn't seen since. So yeah, that's city.
Boy, he said. I mean, well, yeah, like I, I
know he's, he was like part of like the like a mini series or
something like that DC was doinglike we are.
Yeah, City Boy miniseries. And I really don't like this.

(01:18:20):
Seibel, have you? Seen that me?
Have you seen that real that's. I mean, kind of.
How about looking for some more names?

(01:18:43):
I got a little list here. Oh.
Yeah, Doctor Spectrum jumping back tomorrow real quick.
Oh, photon. So photons in relationship with.
Doctor Spectrum, Doctor Botter. The Ultimate Universe.

(01:19:06):
He's the reimagined version of the Squadron Supreme guy.
Let me see if I can see what he looks like.
I don't know. This person means that this.

(01:19:26):
Oh, Doctor Spectrum. Yeah.
I don't really know much about him.
Doctor Spectrum is always like aminor character.
No real big plot points with himthat I know of.
He was. Like he.
Was always just a minor character that was just, you
know, trying to trying to followHyperion's rule, so.

(01:19:52):
Tell me about Fire from Beatrice.
Beatrice Dacosta from the Fire and Ice series.
Right, so fire and ice. So after the day with Waller,
what? What was the thing with Waller

(01:20:13):
you got to? Give it so Waller took all the
superheroes powers and then yeah, like this one shoot
Superman got shot he fell so he took she took all of superheroes
powers was getting all their powers via Amazo robots.

(01:20:35):
So when that was done, all the so.
She had the powers, or did she just?
Have No she was just so the amazing robots had the powers.
OK, but she's controlling the amazing robot.
Correct. So after that incident when the
amazing robots were all destroyed, all the powers they
were. For the one, she had an amazing

(01:20:57):
army. Yeah, she had a Mazal army.
OK, so all the powers got mixed up.
So like like Lois Lane got you will bow to core Cord, Cord,

(01:21:17):
corn, all will bow to corn. Corn.
Hold on, hold on. Let me see what his name is.
Superman. What's his name?
Cord. All will bow to Cord.

(01:21:42):
What is it? No, it's not Chord.
Is it Lord all about to Lord? No.
No, it starts with AK. Like it's AK, it's AK on his
it's AK symbol and two. Cord.

(01:22:14):
It's cord OK. You know, Zod, all about to Zod
you said it's OK, fool, and 'cause that's what I was
thinking. I was like all about to Zod.
I was like, I mean, but he said it's OK, so it can't be Zod.
I will. Bow to Zod, you're pissing me
off the. Mark then, then Nah, you pissing

(01:22:35):
yourself off now. So I will bow to Zod.
So Lois Lane got Zaz powers and he's out in space on his own
planet, but he got he got kickedout of his own planet by his
wife. So he's looking for something
else to do. So he's in space.
Like he hijacked this, this space show prison ship thing.

(01:23:02):
And so he's in charge of that. He hijacked that, and now his
powers were sent to lowest lanes, lowest.
They no longer has his powers. That was very recent, but what's
the original we're talking about?
Fire. Fire, yes.
So fire and ice, their powers got switched.

(01:23:24):
So fire has ice powers, Ice has fire powers.
So fire was her powers back. She reaches into Satana's hat,
finds a monkey's paw, and says that she wants to be in her
body. So then fire is in ISIS power

(01:23:45):
with fire's powers. No, fire is in ISIS body with
fire powers, and in ice is in fire's body where ISIS powers
currently. And they are both in an island
off of Smallville inside of a beauty shop with I thought.

(01:24:10):
Smallville was in the middle of like Kansas or something.
Look, don't ask questions, they said.
That's the whole point of this episode for me, to ask about
these heroes. They said it was an island or
something I don't know but they're in there with gorilla
grads sister who is has to telekinesis and gorilla grad is

(01:24:42):
hunting for her sister and fire is in Isis body with firepowers
and ice is in fire's body with ice currently.
So that's fire and ice. What you eating?

(01:25:03):
It's OK. So they are they pretty new?
Yes, so this Fire and Ice seriesis very new, like I just read
them on the other day. Oh, all of it.
Tell us about the series. What is it like?
So no, the series is only like two or three issues deep.

(01:25:25):
Oh, oh, so it just started. Is it going to be it's going to
be like ongoing? Is it like a limited series mini
mini series? Probably until this whole
catastrophe is worked out 'causelike, even like the Martian
Manhunter's telepathy is inside a Grog right now.

(01:25:45):
So Grog has used the Martian Manhunter Celebrity and Live
Wire to go back in time to find the original Legion of Doom.
To find the original Legion of Doom and get them to, you know,

(01:26:10):
bother the heroes of the present.
OK, OK. Yeah.
Yeah. 'Cause after the Waller thing
when she had that everybody's super powers, Superman and
Batman decided that superheroes need to be connected.
So all of superhero dumb is now a super, a legion, a justice

(01:26:34):
member and they are out in spaceon in the satellite.
You said all the superheroes. What now?
All the superhero dumb, like everybody who has superpowers
that fights for good, OK, Like even Killer Frost was a
superhero. Like she even has the card.
Even Killer Frost has the card. And what's?
The What's the organization called now?

(01:26:55):
Justice League. Oh, everyone's a part of the
Justice League now. All the superheroes?
Yeah. All the powered people, I
suppose. Yeah.
OK, what do? What is the question though?
You said. I remember we talked about them
before and the questions of woman now.
Yes, Renee, Renee, who is the Renee is currently the

(01:27:15):
commissioner in Gotham City and she is now also the question who
is now the ex of Bat woman who is.
Does he have too many questions?Shut up.

(01:27:36):
But that woman is the you know that woman wears the red and the
wig. So she is currently on the ship
and I haven't read the last issue yet.
She is currently on the Justice League satellite as the person

(01:27:56):
who keeps in control of the order.
So if anything goes wrong, she'sshe's on it.
So currently I don't know what his name was.
Let me see if I can find his name and else my.

(01:28:24):
Name the question. Superman.
You know who was Superman? Cyborg.
Hank Henshaw. Like what's Hank Henshaw?
I don't I don't know what his super villain name is.
He's like the Cyborg Superman, but he he is currently hijacked

(01:28:48):
the the Watchtower in the sky and he is I also hijacked the
people in the Watchtower trying to fight each other, except for
the question, that woman and some other people.
OK. So I don't read the last issue

(01:29:09):
yet, but they are currently trying to stop Cyborg Superman
and his answers. OK, OK, alright, one more.
I think I have one more dairy doing.
I start wrapping it up. So, Jerry, how about you tell us
who you're most excited to read about month to month?
Or tell us who we should start reading about that we probably

(01:29:35):
don't. The answer to all those
questions is storm answer to allthose questions.
Storm. Marae White is doing some
amazing. Did you?
See, he was on another podcast. I did.

(01:29:55):
I feel cheated on. I did.
I didn't listen to the podcast stuff, did you?
Listen, I feel, I feel, no, I feel infidelity.
Infidelity. Why is your arm so big?
'Cause I've been working out bro.
I don't feel that way. Maria has got a whole comic book

(01:30:16):
series too. And you know, a lot of people
are saying with his comic book that, you know, 'cause it's such
great. Did you read the last issue?
Yeah. I don't even know where to

(01:30:40):
begin. I don't even know where to
begin. It is such grand ideas from
limbo. Isn't that issue all the way to
cosmic and I don't even know where to begin.
I don't even know where to beginbut what he did with the FBI

(01:31:04):
cause did you read the not the last issue, but the second to
last issue? That's why he did with the FBI.
It's so amazing. I never thought of that.
No, I haven't seen. I haven't the last one.
The last one I read was the one where all the Thunder guys were

(01:31:25):
showing up. Yeah, I never thought of what he
did with the FBI. You have got to read that
because it's so intelligent. Like, of course, of course the
American government system wouldemploy blah, blah, blah to the
FBI. Of course, of course.

(01:31:45):
OK. But then in the last issue with
it goes from limbo to outer space.
And when it it it like the last, the last page is somebody that
goes even beyond the one above all in terms of power.

(01:32:07):
And what you are saying is that, you know, white people are
saying that why is he doing all this with Storm when Jean Grey
has a current comic book out andnone of this stuff is happening
in the Jean Grey comic and blah blah.
I'm not no, you can't be jealouswith Raya is writing the most

(01:32:32):
fake fantastic spectacular book or kind of shelves and you are
like this white woman has to be more grander than this black
woman. No, it doesn't happen like that.
So to answer both your questionsis storm.
It's the Storm comic book and it's so grand, but the first

(01:32:55):
page of the last color book, she's behind bars and I'm like.
The army is. She is behind.
But you know, if Storm is behindbars is 'cause she want to be
anybody, anybody holding her cap.
Ain't nobody holding her but just that image of Storm with

(01:33:20):
her braids and then like the endof her braids aren't her white.
So you know that she had to weave something in her braids
'cause You know the end of the last issue, she cut her hair.
So you know, she weaves some black girl black into her braids
'cause. You know, whenever a girl cut

(01:33:41):
her hair, that means she got to go through a massive change.
I I saw Mulan, but yeah, and to answer both those questions,
Storm, it's definitely so everybody needs to be
reinstalling. Everyone needs to be loving
Storm and. Do you have a question for us?
I have a question that's why I'masking.

(01:34:02):
Oh yeah, you know, I was talking, but I guess I'm
finished talking. But yeah, you answered a
question. Let me see if I can pull it up
without it making a whole bunch of noise.
Marcus, the Marcus. Junkie, Junkie.

(01:34:34):
Say it again. Yeah, yeah.
All right, what's what's the question?
So I 38 male have been in a sexual relationship where we

(01:35:00):
both get to explore new things with each other.
And this question is coming fromTawana Monique on Instagram at
Tawana under Score Monique if you want to go check out some of
her Monday confessionals. I 38 male, have been in a sexual
relationship where we both get to explore new things with each

(01:35:22):
other. We're pretty open minded and
I've let her peg me which led toher using huge strap ONS on me.
She now wants to fist me but I'mnot cool with that.
How do I tell her no at the riskof losing my little free?
If you told us no, why can't youtell her no?

(01:35:45):
Like he, he, he, he, he, he, he just told us no.
But he can't tell her no. The person who was actually
sticking her fist into his bum bum, bum bum.
Bum bum. Bum and he can't tell her.
OK wait I have some exceptions to this.

(01:36:07):
Like if you can't talk to her, why are you having sex with her?
Like that's just stupid. That's dumb.
You can't talk to her, but you're letting her stick her
whole fist inside of you. No, he doesn't want that.
He's let her peg him though. And and but I agree with you
like you like how you fucking somebody and scared to tell them

(01:36:27):
now. Likely.
Cause absolutely not. Would you let somebody fished
you? No.
Why don't you stop them? Unless they're trying to wrap
their fist around my Dick. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no. That's the only fist that I will
accept. Not enough, buddy.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

(01:36:50):
That's called jacking you all. What if she's tried to put her
fist inside of your bum? Bum.
I'm not having that. Why not?
Is it supposed to? No, I would never do that.
Then why the fuck are you asking?
Me 'cause I mean different structure, different folks.
And I'm not that folk. Well, you know, we have AI that.

(01:37:16):
I ain't that folk, and I ain't that and I and I ain't that
different. Well we have a friend that stand
up for. Yeah, I know.
You know, did you see it? Absolutely not.
I, I just, I don't know, I worryfor him sometimes.

(01:37:40):
That's not. I don't, you know, let the man,
let the man. Put a fist inside you like a
punch isn't? Like a.
Punch. That's not good.
I know, right? That's not good.
It's probably much more gentle than that, Jared.
It's never happened to me, so I don't know.

(01:38:01):
But I don't know that's I can't be good.
Like they can't feel good 'causealready like a penis, a penis
doesn't feel comfortable. It's like, you know a foreign
object going inside your body I feel doesn't feel comfortable.
Jerry, are you really want to say that?
Are you the 1? Is that the is it?

(01:38:23):
Are you really the the one we need at the forefront of that
platform that penises are uncomfortable in your behind?
Wait, what? What, what?
What? Is that what you're saying?
Let me, let me, let me, I guess, let me clarify what you're
saying. Are you saying that?

(01:38:44):
Are you are you saying that penises are uncomfortable in in
your butt? Yes.
They don't belong in there, DeMarcus.
OK, that's not your, but that's not your your main your main
mode of sexual intercourse. The Marcus.

(01:39:09):
Garrett Because it could that would be like me saying like all
like sticking your Dick in vaginas.
It's I don't like it. It's kind of uncomfortable but I
do it all the time. The Marcus As I said, penises
are not supposed to go in bum holes, but the erogenous zone

(01:39:31):
for man is in the bum hole, so you have to get over the
uncomfortability to find the pleasure.
I'm OK where I am. I have, I have I found enough
pleasure in my life? I wasn't asking you.
You asked me. You.
Wanna you wanna do one more question?
OK. Sure, OK.

(01:39:53):
I 33 year old female dated my exnine years.
He proposed to his sideline, nowhis wife, less than a year after
we split up. Six years later, his homeboy is
trying to shoot his shot says that he was always into me but
had to fall back 'cause of my ex.

(01:40:14):
Should I give him a chance? Would I be wrong?
And yes, they are still friends.Yes.
Yes, she should give him a chance.
Yeah. But they but she dated A homeboy
for nine years. So, and I hate that, What?
What does that mean? Yeah, I feel like I, I, I agree

(01:40:34):
with you there. And I and I very much had that
attitude like growing up until Imet enough people that were
like, no, you shouldn't like date folks.
You know nothing. And I really think this, I
really think that's a, a woman centric mindset because most,
most of when I, when I think back on it, most of the times

(01:40:56):
where I've heard like, oh, I'm not dating nobody.
My friend is dated. It's coming from a woman because
dudes, men don't give a fuck. Like I've dated like I've dated
a girl that my friends have dated.
I've I've been dating a girl at the same time that a friend of
mine was also going on dates with her.

(01:41:20):
Because he's stag. It was when I found out, it was
hilarious because me and him waslike we, it was like a budding
new friendship. We was like working out together
or whatever. And he was just like, yeah, man,
I met this girl, you know, she's, she's like hella dope,
bro. She's, you know, she and he was
just telling me about her. And he was like, oh, like she's
like into like public service orsomething like that.

(01:41:42):
And like, at the more he talked,I was like, wait a minute, this
woman sounds familiar. I was like, I was like, what's
the girl's name? And then he said her name.
And I was like, yo, I was like, I'm stroking that bitch.
I was like you, you out here taking her on dates and I'm
digging her out at night. So, Dave, what was his reaction?

(01:42:05):
I didn't tell him immediately. I think I, but I did eventually.
I was like, hey look, man, I waslike, I'm also talking to her
too. I was like, I ain't, I ain't
telling you to back off, but youain't got to talk to her.
I'm just letting you know there's other players in the
game. And I think he like, talked to
her for a little bit longer, fora little bit more, and then was
like, I'm good. Cool.

(01:42:28):

I'm still like pretty close to the beginning, so it's like a

(01:43:10):
little slow, but it's not bad. I.
Haven't came in yet? You're there, you're around.
But I like, I like the, I like the people they're playing with.
Like there's one person who has who, I guess it's kind of like
using like an African accent andI really enjoy that one.
Well, they all are. They're not.

(01:43:31):
Nobody's from Africa. They're all Wakandian, Wakandan.
So. So you haven't gotten to my
character yet, That's what you're saying?
You've talked about your character and I guess they like,
they like done stuff. It's hard for me to remember.
I haven't listened in a while. OK, DeMarcus, well, we just

(01:43:53):
recorded our second episode lastnight actually so and it was our
first battle scene. We fought against the rhino.

of life, TuneIn there and DeMarcus said.

(01:44:37):
We do not accept nipple rubs as a form of payment.
Well, you know. I don't know.

If I can rub the nipple, you know I'm I may accept that as
the payment thing. Well, you heard it here folks.
Jerry to pay your $0.10 a day for the Patreon you let him rub

(01:44:58):
them nipples. I definitely will.
I definitely will and. He doing a full 4 finger rub
down. Yeah, 4 fingers and the thumb.
And the thumb we. Alright then Mike is out.
Any final words? I love these episodes because we
get to hear a lot about what's going on in current comics.

(01:45:20):
Jerry's super knowledgeable. He gets to like strut his brain
around. And we need to learn some like
comics that we want to jump into.
So, you know, there's a lot of heroes out there, more being
created every day. And go out there, buy comics,
read the stories and buy comics by comics specifically that
feature new heroes that are not like your big names like

(01:45:44):
Superman, Batman, Aquaman, the Flash, Iron Man, Captain
America, by like RiRi Williams by you know, by fire and ice.
Like, let's, let's get some young folks, let's get some new
blood in the, in the, in the big, in the big 5.
Right. And that's my wrap it up for
