Born in New York, but growing up in Memphis, basketball was something that David found a passion in. Time surpassed, realizing that his height wasn’t matching his dreams, he switched up his career and leaned more into music. Growing up in church, he always had a natural talent behind it. A proud student of Tennessee State University, David has taken off with his musical career since being a part of the HBCU. He prides himself on using a live band, and having that be his niche when performing. Ever heard of “Tiny Dorm” Concerts? Again, our guest is truly a creative and does these small dorm room live band concerts that you can find on his Instagram page. By far one of the most unique artists in our city, you’d have to check his catalog to hear the uniqueness in his voice, music, and overall approach to his craft. He vents about how it has been mentally being a part of TSU. Guys, get ready … cause David has some things he wants to get off his chest and he does that today on our show.
