Good Morning Nashville ☀️
We first want to pay homage to any veteran that is listening to our podcast on today. Sir or Madam, if you’re reading this, we thank you for your service to this country. 🇺🇸
With that, we figured think that one episode wouldn’t suffice for a day such as today. So, in honor of Veterans Day we decided to drop TWO EPISODES IN ONE WEEK! 🔥
Not one, but ✌🏽 episodes. No time to waste. Let’s 🔒 in!
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is a movement formed in 1909, and now stretched all across our nation in various cities and states. Today, we have the President of the Nashville Chapter of the NAACP, none other than Nashville native Mr. Jonathan “JDubb” Williamson. ⭐️
Joelton Elementary, Kings Lane (now Robert E. Lillard Elementary), Head Magnet School, Nashville School of the Arts, MTSU, any of these schools sound familiar Nashville? Mr. Williamson’s journey has accompanied all of these schools here in the city. So he definitely has seen the city grow in a many of ways. A now father, he has experienced a lot but has made sure that those experiences didn’t hinder him from the work needing to be done behind advocating for our culture. An opportunity presented itself overtime where at MTSU, he blossomed and served within a many of groups, organizations, and leadership positions. Fast forward to today, he is again the President of the Nashville NAACP Chapter. ⭐️
Today on the show, he vents about “placeholders” within the organization and how often times those that have a position, want the title but not the work. This episode is jam packed … take some time to listen to a black man vent today. ✌🏽

Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
