Good Morning Nashville ☀️

In the words of DJ Khaled … “another one”.🔥 We are as always blessed and excited to be a part of you guys new week wherever you may be listening, as we continue to push conversations behind mental health here in Nashville, Tennessee. We stand proudly as first and the only black father and son podcast in the state of Tennessee … and are willing to go ANYWHERE, to get the story of black men and mental health on our platform. With that, let’s get into today’s episode!

Thank God for our virtual resources, because as long as we have them at our disposal, we are willing to go anywhere to get a black man’s mental health story on our platform. You never know, we may just pull up in your city with mics in hand! Today … we travel to Las Vegas 🎰 to see what is being done about mental health conversations in the place known as “Sin City.”

Our guest is none other than Las Vegas native, a soon to be Ph.D recipient studying for Curriculum & Instruction with a concentration in Cultural Studies, International Education and Multicultural Education at UNLV … we present to some and introduce to others, Mr. Sean Tory ⭐️

As a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Sean Tory has spend a lot of his life surrounded with children and adolescent youth. The husband and father of three talks about life today, but reflects on the journey with us as to how he got here. Not an easy journey … having experienced loss, homelessness, divorce, & failed relationships, Sean took these lessons and carved out a beautiful testimony from these hardships. Mentally, he vents about what it took throughout the journey … resilience, steadfast praying, grit & determination. This episode is for sure a good one, take some time to listen to a black man vent today. ⭐️

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
