Hello and welcome to Episode 32.

(00:48):
Lately, I've been seeing andhearing about folks taking a
step back from their usualroutines and giving themselves
time to rest and realign.
I'm trying to figure out what'sinfluencing this shift.
It could be that we'recurrently midway through the

(01:08):
year, so many of us arereviewing the goals we set at
the beginning of the year andour progress.
If you're like me, you lookback at those goals and wondered
what was I thinking?
I set some pretty ambitiousgoals and I'm finally accepting

(01:29):
that my approach to reachingthose goals will involve
planning around an adorable andvery, very busy toddler.
I'm seeing other folks steppingback from businesses and social
media platforms they've builtfor years.

(01:50):
Some have been feeling burntout, while others have realized
that their lives have changed somuch since when they first
began, so it's natural thattheir businesses and social
media presence must also change.
This is an excellent time toget ourselves back into

(02:11):
alignment, and by this I don'tmean getting back into alignment
with those goals we set back atthe beginning of the year.
I suggest getting back intoalignment with our core values.
What are those things that aretruly important to you on an
emotional and spiritual level?

(02:32):
Is it quality time with familyand friends, or do you value
building generational wealth?
Do you value taking care ofyour health so that you can see
your kids grow up?
Once we attach our intentionsand our goals to our values,

(02:56):
that can motivate us to keepgoing and inspire us to dream
and create a new plan to bringour vision to life.
Yes, we need to take time torest.
We may even need to walk awayfrom some things, but when we
get back in touch with ourvalues, we'll find that the

(03:18):
vision was there all along.
We may have just gotten alittle sidetracked.
This will be the perfect timeto return to our health and
wellness routines.
For the rest of summer of 2023,or, if you'd like to say, for
the rest of quarter three, we'regoing to revisit the eight

(03:40):
dimensions of wellness.
By doing this we can get backinto alignment if we need it, or
use the tips and info to helpus refresh our self-care
routines.
Please tune into the nextseveral episodes as we revisit
the dimensions of wellness froma slightly different perspective

(04:03):
.
I haven't come up with the cutename for the series yet, but
once I do I'll announce it tothe email list fam first and
I'll also be sending along someother helpful resources.
