In our latest episode of the Black Women's World Podcast, we take time to sit with the profound importance of truly asking, "How are you doing?" and we hold the space for authentic answers. This simple yet sacred question holds immense weight, especially for Black women who navigate the complexities of racism, sexism, and societal pressures daily. We explore the necessity of creating safe spaces where Black women can honestly share their feelings and experiences without fear of judgment.

As we look at the potential historic nomination of US Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate for President, we are also confronted with stark realities such as the tragic murder of Sonya Massey in her own home by a villainous white police officer. This modern-day lynching highlights the urgent need to address the systemic injustices that Black women face.

From the systemic inequities in the workplace, where Black women are often required to be twice as educated and experienced to receive half the pay, to the continuous fight against racial violence, we discuss the myriad challenges faced by Black women. We emphasize the need for community support and understanding to foster the spiritual, mental, and physical well-being of Black women and for those who love us.

Join us as we uplift the voices of our SistaNistas and SistaNista Lovers, fostering a sanctuary of relationships where vulnerability is met with understanding and compassion. Together, we can ensure that every Black woman feels seen, heard, and cherished.
