I did one project. That wasit. I'm just.
Oh, I was just thinking abouthim and he. Yeah, hit me up last

Thank you, Lizzie. Yes, it is.Shout out to Crazy ate the great
for the. For our intro. Thathe is. He is a friend. He is a brother
and he. He's made it. He'smade quite an appearance on the show

(07:04):
several times though. He wasone of. He was one of the few people
when I was introduced to himto Crazy eight that I'm like, yo,
this dude, is he the truth? And he's been living in Cleveland
all this time.
Hidden treasures, man. Hiddentreasures. You know how this works.
So, yeah, he's been. He's beenon the thing. Our fresh press by

I wish I said what I said.
I ain't taking what's going onnow, everybody.
How you doing, my dear? Oh,them. Them allergies are kicking

(07:52):
in on you, aren't they?
I think I. I think I mighthave attacked my pollen issue.
How so?
A netty pot when I caught acold that clear. It cleared me out,

(08:16):
man. It. I haven't had noproblems since then.
I am grateful that I do nothave allergies, but I tell you, I
feel for everybody who does.So it's like getting mugged every
day. I am so sorry.
No to far Isaiah is Brandyscreaming. I already had your baby
to eight on camera. It's noton this since Tafari doesn't know

(08:43):
because, I mean, he knowsabout Candy being a previous host
on the show, but when it wasme, Candy and dc. Oh, anything. And
it was com. It was chaos. Itwas good chaos, but it was chaos.
So, yeah, anything was thrownout. So yeah, yeah. Even Lizzie's

(09:06):
saying it's like pollen seasonis not. It's Almost. Yeah.
I drive a white car. Let metell you, when I leave my apartment
and my car is yellow, including the windshield, that is.
No, See, you want to punchsomething, but you can't because
they're really tiny, andthey're everywhere. You know, it's

(09:30):
like.
I think. I think part of thereason why it hasn't affected me
up here as much is becausewe've gotten a lot of rain.
Yeah.
Like, today's nice. Like, today is, like, 63. Yeah. So it was
just like. But it's rained somuch that it. It can't do anything.
It can't flow anywhere. It wasjust like. I guess we're gonna sit

(09:53):
here for a while.
I mean, it could, but it'd behilarious, though.
It's like, oh, look, this is one.
Of the many times I am gladthat I do not have allergies, but
the wife and the kids have it,so it's just like today was just
nothing but clarity gettingpassed around. Like, passed around
like a prison joint. JustClaridin for the wife, Clarion for
the kids.
Just. Yeah. One thing aboutjust the Blur, the certain individuals

(10:25):
in the Blur community, we. Wedon't bite. We don't bite. Like,
many people know Navy. A lotof people know us. So it was just
like, you know, like, man, we.I'm like, look, man, I'm. I'm. I'm
working just like you are.
Nine to five.

(10:46):
I'm gonna say we have. We havenot made it to the. To the. This
is our. This is our only wayof income level. We would love to
be there. Facts.
So, yeah. But shout out toCandy B. If. If you are in the Cleveland
area, you got kicks and comicsgoing down this weekend at the B
side lounge from 6 to 9. Iwill be there. So.

(11:10):
Dang, I wish I could.
Come on, girl. You know, godown there and the gang hang out
and cut up and do what wenormally do.
I wish I could come up therefor real.
Oh, damn. It's the taco spotnext door. And I don't even know
how that's playing out becauseof a certain jackass.

(11:34):
You mean a rampant cheeto?
Yeah.
F47.
Yeah.
I just love saying thatbecause I could cuss them out, and
it's completely acceptable atthe same time.
So I will, like. I, like, likemany of the people that watch the
show, know we are notpolitical. However, we are rebels.
We do not believe in. In beingheld down, and we will call people

(11:56):
out on their.
That part.
Necessary.
That part.
And. And. And when I say I amproud of people in institutions like
Harvard, in certain governorssaying, no, we're not doing.
That thank you places though.
Yeah. Harvard said, Harvardsaid, we are not folding. They said,

(12:21):
well, I bet we won't. And itwas like.
That was not on my bingo listof 2025. It wasn't. As I talked about
last night, like of all places.
Yeah.
And I was talking to a friendof mine about that when he mentioned
it, I said, you realize at thecore he's an idiot, but the people

(12:41):
behind them aren't. Andthey're using him as their weapon
to target certain institutionsand certain people and everything.
Like, don't, don't haveregrets now because you, you cast
your vote for the dumb whitedude instead of the intelligent black
woman. Eat it. Okay. Just eat it.

(13:01):
I've never seen.
Reach the found out part for real.
So the portion of the crew ishere. I think we can, we can. Where
we at? We're not cheating. We're about 15 minutes. It's too
early anyway. How'severybody's week been? Other than

(13:24):
Spartan and his tech issues?
It's just a scammer. This, this camera, this camera will get
a full on burial once the newone shows up. I promise you that.
This weekend.
Okay.
I'm waiting anticipation to gosee Centers tomorrow night. So. Oh
yeah, that'll be me. I am, I'mabout to. You know, it feels good

(13:51):
to go see a movie that I havebeen really been waiting on for the
past two years since itsannouncement. And the hype that's
around it, that's the, thepositive feedback that this is getting.
Like, thank God this is thetype of content that's going to be
on Blur Station. That's B L ER D not B L U R D. It's B L E R D

(14:20):
Station.
It's. It blows my mind.Centers is an example of just sitting
back, letting the processhappen. Let it do what it needs to
do. We aren't rushing becauseyou're hungry for it. You'll get
it when you get it. It wasreleased and everybody's losing their
mind. Ryan Coogler is not half ass.

(14:42):
No. God, no.
This man. This man.
If I didn't know any better. And this is, this is me. Coogler
and Jordan are the Denzel andSpike Lee of this new.
Not the mo. Better blue. Sir.
Stop.
Because they're, they're thisgeneration's Denzel and Spike Lee.

(15:05):
Wow. I see that. I see it likelook at the projects. They, they've
been hidden on tens everySingle time, nothing under 89. Let's
just put it like that.
And it's different genres thatwe're seeing. It's not just your
typical stereotypical. That'sthe best way I can put this. It's

(15:25):
not your stereotypical hoodstories that were used.
No.
So. Oh, his.
His first movie was based on atrue story and that shook people
to the core.
Yeah.
So.
And this is why I said, I goback to Tafara's review of what he
said about sinners, and hepulls the scene for Transformers
with Tyree. Man, did you seeif you can see this? I was like,

(15:52):
if that is not. I said, look,I. I hope me and the wife can sneak
away to go watch her thisweekend, because I want to see it.
Because I'm just like, numberone, it needs to be supported. Number
two, it's Ryan Coogler. Imean, the guy. I want the guy to
shine. And not to say hehasn't done well in the mcu, his
movies have done well in themcu, but I want him to shine away

(16:15):
from it. Like, this is. Thisis mine.
And he's done that, and he'sjust. That. Yeah.
So that's why I'm lookingforward to it. At the same time,
I just want to know if it'sjust the question of. It's like after
playing south at Midnight, then looking at centers, I'm like,
are we just kind of. Is itkind of a kid? I'm not saying it's
connected, but at the sametime, it kind of feels like it's

(16:36):
a little bit connected. Yeah,it feels a little bit connected.
I like what he's doing.
Just an inch.
I like what he's doing. Hiswork has consistently shined him.
Jordan Peele, these. These arethe type of directors they have.

(16:57):
This is what I love about. Asyou get older and as you see as many
films and television shows aswe have, you start getting to a stage
where you can appreciate whythey tell a story a certain way,
and they break it down to themost simplistic ways of understanding.

(17:20):
And he says where he gets hisinfluences from and everything else
and the processes. I stillremember him talking about Black
Panther and the. Just. He saidthe. Just the way he wanted things
set up and the. From thewardrobe to the vibe, he said, yeah,

(17:41):
he goes all in. And this iswhat you need. And there's. There's
other directors who are reallygood at that type of story, at that
type of storytelling. Youknow, Jordan Peele, you need. You
need a sit down and Watchseveral times, especially with that

(18:02):
new movie.
He'S doing with him. Calledhim about football and Marlon Wayans
is part of it.
Yeah. And even with, even withthat, I am so invested because I'm
like, everybody knows MarlonWayans. He's one of the funniest
out of the Wayans family.
Yeah.
And to see him, we've seen,I've seen him in a serious role before,

(18:26):
but this is going to besomething different. And I think
he's really just like, I wantto get more. Even him playing the
role of Will's dad on FreshPrince of Bel Air.
Yeah.
Just seeing him in that, inthat viewpoint, you're just, oh,
wow. You're just like, man, dude. I'm like, yeah, what, where,

(18:49):
where is the Wayans moviestudio at? Because y'all, y'all locked
in too now.
So what? It was a living. Imean, not, I mean, it wasn't really
a studio, but let's be honest,Living Color was their studio. You
really think about it.
Yeah. So I, I, I enjoy. You'reright, Mal, Jordan Peele and Ryan

(19:09):
Coogler are modern visionariesand great storytellers. And, and
that's, and that's what weneed. It's okay. You know, you have
your escapism with all thesuperhero films. You have your escapism
with all your action films. You have your even magazine dreams.
You have, you have thesestories that's being told, and you're

(19:30):
just like, that's powerful also.
It's powerful. That alsodeserves a watch. But, my God, I
was not expecting that.
Yeah, look, when you had, whenyou had Hell Small saying, I had
no desire to see it. I've beenin that lifestyle. I, I've seen things.
It seems like I have seenthings, so. Yeah, exactly. Yeah,

(19:51):
exactly. That's what I mean, seeing him in Reck Wing for a dream.
Exactly. Yeah. That's where Ifirst seen him in a very serious
role. And that was very earlyin his career.
Right.
So it shows you the level offlexibility he has.
Yeah.
You can pull these roles offto either end of the, either extreme
and still make it very entertaining.

(20:15):
Lady Mandalore's Join the chat.
Oh, my God. Hers was waybetter than mine.
Hi, how are you? How iseverybody doing?
Oh, we're just talking aboutour visionary directors of the new
generation in the Cooglers andthe Jordan Peels and, and waiting

(20:38):
for. Yeah, Forever now. Imean, I mean, they're the standouts.
They're definitely thestandouts, but that door.
Is always open for otherdirectors to come In. I mean, it's
just like. Yeah, I hate to saythat we. We don't need. We don't
need to be directors, if thatmakes sense. If you're coming in.
Even.
Even Tyler Perry has beendabbled in trying to do something

(20:59):
different outside his normal, and he's done it, you know, but once
again, it's for a differentcrowd. I don't knock it all.
I'm gonna say.
What's wrong, Spartan?
I'm gonna say it.
No. Nope.
You know you want to.
Nope.
Do it.
Nope.

(21:19):
Say it.
Fine. Y'all ask for this. It'sthe same dog. It's the same doggone
formula in every freaking movie.
Not. Not every movie he's beenin or directed.
I mean, three things.
The main universe of the Medeaverse, okay?
Every movie has same thing. Isit not one individual struggling

(21:42):
to overcome something? Is itnot always a religious background?
And it's not always one songat least played three times in the
movie?
That's the Medea verse.
I'm just.
I'm not debating in the Med verse.
It's just.
But once again. But even. Evenhe said it on. What was it? Was it.

(22:04):
I can't remember the TV showhe was on, but even he described
it. He said, I don't reallycare about the mass audience. I just
care about the audience inwhich I've been serving all this
time. Because they still cometo see it. They still show support.
They still show support.
But I'm like.
Hire other writers to writewith you.

(22:27):
No, I think that breaks. I. Iwould. I would say this. I will say
this. If I was in his shoes, Iwould hire other writers to write
projects that's outside ofthat universe.
And that's fine.
Just Lady Mandalore. Can yousay that word again?

(22:48):
No.
Because I'm.
Because obviously. Obviously. And I keep saying Medea verse. Because
that's what it is. That works.
It does.
That pulls money. That's goingto continue to pull in money. But
if he's going to tell a storyoutside of that, you try to tell.

(23:12):
Us. What was that crazy? Whatwas that story about that lady decided
to kill her husband after heleft her, got rich, and then she
just didn't let it go.
No, no, I know what it. TarajiP. Henson was in that. I can't remember
the name of it.
It starts with the A, and I can't.
Acrimony. It was acronym.

(23:32):
There we go.
Acri.
Yeah.
Alimony.
Yeah. Alimony.
Yeah.
Navy threw me off when he saidmy last marriage. I was about to
Threw me off for a second.
But, I mean. But what. But itwas different. It was. It was different
that.
That I will give it different. And I'm not trying to. And again,
I'm not trying to throw shadeon Tyler Perry. That man accomplished.

(23:54):
That man literally made it towhere you bought an Air Force base.
I'm not sorry. You bought aformer Confederate space.
Yeah.
And not to me. People can sitthere and say that you. Not only
if you bought. Becausegovernment property is a little.
Is a.
Number one is freakingexpensive and you get to jump through
hoops to buy it. And numbertwo, you had the money to buy it.

(24:15):
He did not take out loans. Hedid not. He did not find investors.
This man took his own moneyand purchased an Air Force base.
Cat Williams, not too longago, did the same freaking thing.
Even the Waynes was trying todo that a couple years ago by an
old army base. Yeah, right.
So I'm not. So I'm notknocking him to the point to where.

(24:36):
Yeah, you've made it to whereyou open the door for other films
and other movies to be made.I'm just like, sir, you laid the
groundwork. The tunnel isbuilt, the bridge is there. Just
let other cars come across it.That's all I'm saying.
I mean, and I'll. And I willgo. I will go out, I guess on the
landmark. I should say he's nodifferent than what he's. His formula

(25:01):
for either telling the storyor the people he has in his. In his
films is no different thanAdam Sandler. Anything that De Niro
and Pacino do, it's really nodifferent. Like, once again, the
formula that works. It doesn'twork for everyone or not as long

(25:22):
for everyone, but it. It still works.
So, I mean, De Niro andPacino, they couldn't get away from.
They couldn't get away fromcrime mob movies, Ray Liotta, my
movies. So, yeah, yeah, he did.
You know, and then he's had acouple little comedies in between,
which is. Which is still funnyto me. True.
I think the problem with Tyleris that he. His success has made

(25:43):
him complacent and scared. Sohe stays in a safe lane with everything
he does. But I. But I just.Like you guys said, he has opened
a path for other projects tocome out. People are saying, well,
why just.
He does have a program thatjust opened up today.
Yeah, that. I was about tomention that too. That he is trying

(26:05):
to give other filmmakers and.And writers. I forgot the name of
what it's called, butbasically if you're. If you're a
writer or you're a director oryou're trying to get a movie where
you try and get your movieactually produced, that's what the
program is for. I just can'tthink of the name of. To save my
life right now.
Here's my, here's my concernthough. If he falls back into the
same old habits, no matter whohe tries to get in to write us or

(26:27):
to write a movie, he needs tobe comfortable outside his normal
genre. Because I'd like to seehim come up with to do a superhero
movie based off of an originalcharacter from an original comic
from a. An independent companythat can resonate now.
He just doesn't have to beVincent Man. Just don't be Vincent

(26:49):
man about it.
Go ahead.
Only hang up is do the peoplethat bring him these ideas, do they
get to keep their ip And Idon't think that is a thing.
Yeah, I don't know what the. Idon't know what the. Yeah, I don't
know what the details arebehind it.
Right.
But if this, if with hishistory, I have a feeling that he

(27:10):
would end up taking over alittle bit too much.
But that's the problem. You can't.
You can't.
Vince McMahon Someone else'sother thing. It's like you can step.
You can step back, you canmake suggestions. But yeah, I get
what you're saying, Kira. Hemight take out. He might say he's
gonna try.
Yeah. If you sign, we say allthat. We say, well, go ahead, go

(27:32):
ahead.
If you sign the paperwork tomake that thing now yours, it's like,
oh, you can play, but youcan't do. I want you to do this.
Take out this, replace themwith this. Put this in. And now turn
it a little bit sideways andinsert stick here. That's when. That's.
That's the documentation thatfeels which is happened.

(27:55):
Which is why we also encourageall Blurred creatives that have projects
to come Sign up at BlurredStation. Hit the contact pay button
at the top of that page,blurstation.com and you get to guess
what. You get to keep your ip.
Thanks Kira, for that visual.

(28:18):
But I'm sure like he's been inother genre specific roles. He's
been in sci fi stuff. He's.He's played Alex Cross at one point,
you know, so it's. I thinkit's like Lady Mandalore said. Unless
we know what the. The detailsof said this program he has going
on, it doesn't help if itdoesn't help if they don't have the

(28:44):
control of it.
Right.
You can have oversight, youknow, but you have control over it.
Yeah, you should have, like, say, like, right. Like, I don't know.
It's like. It's like having. It's like saying Knights of the Abyss
got produced by Taller PerryStudios. Just produce it. It looks
great. You don't do anythingbut throw money at it.

(29:04):
That's it. And shout out toNight over this. Matter of fact,
there's some other indiecreatives I want to shout out. Shout
out to Lloyd, to the team ofLloyd and Natasha Jones over at Midnight
Comics of meeting another goalfor their Kickstarter. There you
go. I knew you had it.

and two and three coming up.Shout out to Next Step Comics, Pepper
Piper, Monster Hunter, volumesone and two are currently available,
and I believe they're workingon three right now.
Yes, that is correct.
So shout out to Next StepComics. They're working on that as

(29:47):
well. So shout out to them ifyou have not read Pepper Piper, Monster
Hunter. It's the perfect blendof fantasy, fable, rock, emo, huh?
Salt, dad, alt dash of Buffythe Vampire Slayer and all that in

(30:08):
just one big ball. And I love it.
Not afraid to take a chance.And that's. That's what I really
love about the story. It's notafraid to take a chance. And you
react to it however you react. But it's been made, it's been printed,
and it's incredible.
And you will probably stillread it.

(30:29):
You get sucked. It is one ofthose books where you're like, oh,
what's next? Oh, oh, wait a minute.
It's one of those books thatwe've all. We've already read. We've
all reread comics due to,like, however good it is or whatever
the story is. But this is oneof those books where you read it,
you rereading it because it's.There's Easter eggs, There's, like,
everywhere. Because you'relike, wait, hold on. That happened.

(30:53):
Let me go back. Let me goback. Because I missed something,
you know, so great. They'redoing a great job over at Next Step
Comics, Volume 3 coming soon.So go show your support to these
people. Midnight Comics andNext Step Comics. Go show your support.

same support.
They always show love. I loveit. They always show love.
I just, I just love this. Ijust love to see companies grow.
I just love to see blackcompanies grow.

(31:37):
Baby, little baby, go walk.
I want to shout out Ozzy asthe Virus. Unfortunately, he's had
to close down the clothingsection of, of his, of his empire
just because he, he did it. Hedid a show where he did a complete
breakdown. Did a completebreakdown. And it makes sense. You

(31:58):
know, it was like the shirtsdon't make as much money as what
he needs to pull in for that.Everything else is fine. So fine.
In fact, I do have a canvasfor a giveaway. That video will be
up next week. Be up next weekbecause Easter Sunday and centers

(32:19):

(33:07):
our next segment. BlurredOrigins. Everybody knows us. They
watch us, they support uswherever they can. But I don't think
they know our origin story. They just view us as the conglomerate
of, of nerdy space piratesthat have come together. And they

(33:29):
know us in our separateentities. At the same time, they
don't know how we got here. It's just like, this is like a bunch
of. A bunch of God's angelsjust came down and decided to like,
you know, we're gonna blessyou not with just our presence, but
with some of our expertise. So.

(33:50):
We were coming down. The angelsaid hold a. Hold. It took a paintbrush.
Yeah.
Okay, now you look good.
So I think it would be fair tojust kind of do like a quick round
table discussion and just kindof. I'm gonna say quick but quick
roundtable discussion to justtell people, to tell the people who's
new here and to tell peoplewho are returning members and just

(34:14):
kind of came in, I guess, atthe last part. Bus stop, I guess.
How did you get started? Wheredid it come from? How did you know?
Who do you blame?
Whoopty. Our Nails tactician.See, if everybody wants to say nail
Smith. That's all cool andall. That's tactician sounds so much

(34:36):
cooler. It sounds like.
Yeah, yeah.
Developer, you are the great.
Whoopty. What got you intobeing a blurred. How did you know
you were blurred? What got youstarted in all that?
For me, it started as a weelittle girl in the career.

(35:01):
And Elon Musk is struck again.
Okay, there she goes.
All right, let's try it again.
Okay.
What happened?
All I know is a wee littlegirl. That's too much information.
Shut it down.
Yeah. It started for me as asmall girl in the Caribbean. My aunt

(35:23):
used to babysit me, and shehad nine boys.
Wow.
All of which are older thanme. And two sets of twins. And they
used to read comics. They wereheavy into comics. There were always
comics around the house.
Well, let me sit up on that one.

(35:45):
That is a basketball team withsomething substitutes. Holy crap.
Make sure y'all.
L. The band.
They all play.
That makes a good party, right?
They're good like that. Sothere were old comics around the
house, and I used to pick themup and look at them. The comics that

(36:10):
they mainly had were Avengers,um, Thor, some X Men, and Rom Space
Night.
Okay.
So that's what they mainly.
They had around the house.
And I picked up a couple andyeah, I saw Storm. For me, that was

(36:34):
it. It was a wrap. I haven'tlooked back since.
It is. It's normally Storm.Storm does.
And I read a lot. I read alot. Like, there's always.
Oh, yeah, you're like a.You're like a novel. A novelry. And
I don't mean like novel inher. She reads novels.
Like, that is a bibliophile tothe nth degree.

(36:56):
Right.
And Lady Mandalore. Both of them.
Thank God for my Kindle.
Look, we just advocated foryou. We don't need you.
The trees. Thank you.
I guess. I guess the nextquestion is, when did you find. When

(37:20):
did you find the safe space? When you knew. Okay. Oh, that's what
this is. I'm not a nerd perse, but I'm a blurred.
The word blurred was fairlynew to me, like, within the last
five years or so. I always wasokay with just being nerdy. My family.

(37:42):
Yeah, you know, large, overlylarge Caribbean families, they got
jokes about everything thatisn't, you know, exactly the same.
So, you know, I took my jokes.
That's just. That's black.That's black families, period.
I took my jokes about, youknow, being a family bookworm, about
reading comics and stuff likethat. But other than that, being

(38:06):
black and nerdy wasn't a thingfor me until, like, recently.
She's finding her. Her waterfinds its way.
I'm sorry. I found my peoplebasically online poking around Instagram
and, you know, mainlyInstagram and, you know, watching

(38:31):
people as I started to attendcons and seeing who was out there
and then meeting people, adding them to my Instagram, and
it went from there. And that'swhen I realized that there is a strong,
learned community out thereand that. What I've always watched
anime, read comics, the booksthat I read, that the people are

(38:54):
out there, and. And they looklike me and they think like me, and
it's time to become a part ofthat community. That's simple. And
I haven't looked back.
And then. And then I said, hey, get up here in this ship. We
can use somebody like you.
At first, you're like, no, no,no, no, look.

(39:20):
Oh, my God. It was.
It was me, like, just crackingjokes in your. In your streams and
on your pages.
And stuff like that.
That's how I prepare.
Lady M was like. And WhoopiFreaky. Oh, you didn't check her.
I'm like, all right.
Referral was strong with this one.

(39:41):
Speaking of Lady Mandalore, how did you get. I don't know. We'll
say introduced, and how didyou know you were in the right place?
And when did you realize youwere in the safe spot?
I got introduced as a wee babeto Voltron because, what is it, Lions

(40:02):
or space explorers? Oh, lionswas probably, like, Voltron the 1980s.
It was the lines.
The lines. The lions.
You don't want to. You don'twant to go down.
That.
That's a whole. That's a wholeother conversation. Just.

(40:25):
That's not what I said.Voltron plopped in front of a tv.
Don't touch nothing. Don'tstick a fork inside of this electrical
outlet. He's watching thetelevision. It's fine. I did not
know that this was not aregular occurrence for other people
in the world. So I. I watchVoltron. Tried to talk to some people

(40:47):
at school about it, but thenthe boys that, you know, before y'all
got icky and weird, and wewould play. Yeah, we would play thundercats,
Transformers. So tomboy, ifyou're not. If you're not checking
your scoreboard. Tomboydresses were not my thing. Do not

(41:11):
put it on me. What's the pointthen? There's a. Just a blank period
between, like, elementaryschool and high school. High school.
Oh, that like. Like many ofus. That's hard.
Nothing happened for athousand years. And then realized

(41:33):
that there were people at myschool. Gay best friend Jason. He
introduced. We realized thatwe both like Xena Warrior Princess.
Hey.
That type of thing.
And where the real rivalrybetween Homelander and Billy actually
started.
You.
You've got to be a fan of Xenato know exactly what that means.

(41:57):
I did not know that that manwas in that show. And then what was
it? Power Rangers. Going toschool. Talking about Power Rangers
throughout the week. Theweirdo emo kids whispering in the
darkness about this thingcalled Dragon Ball Z. And getting

(42:19):
falling into though that wholerepertoire cut to college. It's around
too much. Honestly. Was outhere running these New York City
streets. Mother had storiesand eventually landed back into the

(42:39):
Blur sphere. Through thepandemic. In a sense. I had a lot
of time on my hands and waslike, oh, oh, there's.
Oh, there's.
There's.
All of you are here. Nobodytold me. I didn't get the memo. And.
Yeah. What are we in fouryears later.

(43:01):
Yeah.
Doing all this now. So thisis. This is. It's been a ride. It's
been a ride.
Yeah. Spartan, what was yourintroduction here?
I can't say.
I can't say Safe space.Because you're just like. Just look
at me. Wow. Just like I am.

(43:24):
Uppercuts are coming hard fromOhio, y'all.
He. He's not wrong. I've beencalled many a safe space at Con,
so I can't say nothing tokids. Where kids will walk up and
say, you look. You look safe.I'm just gonna hang with you till
my parents show up. I'm like, who you belong to, child?

(43:46):
Wait.
Sorry.
Shout out to my Aunt Lynette, who introduced me to Star wars, which
is why Lady Mandalore in thatwhole thing. Okay, bye.
Spartan's one of those oneswhere they. Some. Some. Some. Some
uber, uber minch will come upto him. It's like, you know, that's
not. He's like, do I look likeI give a damn? I like what I like.

(44:07):
Do you want to find outanything else?
I. I try to be nice. I try tobe peaceful. Anyway, let's see. Started.
See, it's kind of a mix. See,I could say it started with bravestar.
I see. I say it could havestarted with Silverhawks. It could

(44:28):
have started with except forHot Wings.
I have never forget.
Hot Wings is the worst nameyou can give to the blackest. You
know what? Anyway, terriblename. Terrible name to give to the
black character on SilverHawks, you name him, Hot Wings. I'm
just. I'm sorry.
We won't forgive that.
We'll never forgive that.Eventually did migrate to comics

(44:50):
because your boy did like toread, but I wasn't into the grand
literature of theater as I amnow. Your boy just pretty much stayed
in the library reading comicbooks because the library wanted
to get rid of the library.Want to sit me down somewhere and
said, here, read this. Whichactually was Batman, issue 47. I

(45:11):
want to say. Origins ofBatman. It was like, way, way Silver
Age. But anyway, got meintroduced to Batman, and from there,
it was reading into JusticeLeague. Eventually did get me into
Marvel, reading, reading Demonin a Bottle by Iron Demon Ball Arc
by Iron Man. And of course, that led me into Image and eventually

(45:37):
Static, and. Which led me toBlood Syndicate. Eventually led me
to Icon Rocket. And fromthere, growing up, it was just. It
was honestly cartoons. It wasanime. Because at one point, all
we really had was. How can Isay this? I had. I had. Everybody

(45:58):
had the. The CD guy, the cd,cd, DVR person, or this cassette
person in your neighborhood. Ichallenged mine because I'm like,
bruh, can you find NinjaScroll? Can you find. Can you find.
Oh, dear God. Seven. Seven. The seven deadly villains. Seven,
seven deadly venoms of Shaolinthe 36.

(46:19):
That was a hard film to find, man.
You mean the Five Deadly. Five Deadly.
Five Daily Venoms.
Five Daily Venoms. He found.
That's. That was a hard filmto find at the time.
Yeah, he had found that. Sowhat? That actually, because of that,
it led my love into martialarts and eventually to the point
to where I never actually feltalone. I've always had a few friends

(46:40):
that were all into the samethings I was all into. So I never
had that lone wolf thing, although I was still. Believe it
or not, I was actually short.I didn't actually hit my growth spurt
till way later. So a lot ofpeople don't believe that when they
see me. I'm like, no. Imaginea very short, skinny kid that was

(47:00):
just big in the. That was justbig into comics, that was just big
into certain television shows. And then video games came around,
and then your boy just stayedin his room most of the time. I mean,
I went outside for aireventually, but your boy was on the
sticks. Your boy was nice withit for a little while. And, you know,
thanks to my mom, which I'mnot gonna name Nate, I'm not gonna

(47:21):
blame her, because we have Eseries now. Your boy could have paid
off the House. That's all I'msaying. We could have been living.
We could have been living lastbecause, you know, you don't. You
don't make a career offplaying video games, and yet 20 years
later. But it's not like Igot. It's not like I got. It's not
like I got aggression. Idon't. I don't have any hatred. I
don't.
You've seen some of the workstories as. Yeah, he has a way of

(47:41):
getting that out.
Seriously. Yeah, I don't have.I don't. I don't have. I don't have.
Anyway. But no, eventually itjust led.
That. That was. I'm sorry. That was giving Thor and. And Star
Lord vibes where he was like,oh, nice. He was like, you're the
captain now.
I must say, outside of that,it did lead to basically going to

(48:05):
college is where I actuallygot introduced to Dungeons and Dragons,
because I walked into a roomwhere, you know, five or five guys
were surrounding by a table, and they had this one guy set up
to where this picture friendlyLord of the Rings. I was like, what
you guys are doing? Andthey're like playing Dungeons and
Dragons. I was like, what isthat? They said, sit down. I said,
okay. They enemy a sheet. Isaid, okay. They said, pick a character.

(48:25):
I said, how? They handed me abook instead of reading, which was
my first.
I didn't want to help you at all.
Oh, no.
They sat there. Oh, I gotthrown to the fire. It's like, look,
read this. You'll pick it upas you go along. I said, but it was
still one of the funnest. Oneof the funnest things I ever did
as a group, outside of sportsor anything else, was actually playing
that. Of course, anime camealong and, well, podcast came along

(48:51):
because someone suggested thatI need to talk outside of being a
statue, which, to sum it allup, is. Eventually led us to here.
Navy.
Wow.
I. I've heard your story, butI. I've known your story for so.
For some years. But tell thepeople this. This. This Navy has

(49:18):
a. Is a very distinct way ofhow he came about everything.
Does it have it. Does it havean epic intro?
Yeah, we couldn't afford it onmy budget. Now it was just everybody.
Everybody hummed. That's allwe did. We all hum the theme music
to the Schoolhouse Rock. That's pretty much where it's.

(49:38):
Maybe. Maybe we hummed. Thelast time you started speaking, you
didn't like it.
See, that was a difference.Y'all were all off. All off rhythm
it's like, oh, my gosh, areyou humming? Are you grunting? I
don't know what the hell. Myjourney started at 9 years old. I
was a comic kid, and my firstcomic I actually stole. It was. It

(50:02):
was a Captain America number,47 out of the local drugstore. And
my heart was beating like adrum. But when I got home, my grandmother's
house, and I read that book, Iwas hooked. So much so. And I told
Chris this story. I had afriend of mine named Brian. Brian's
mother did not particularlycare for people outside the house.
And that Christmas, I got myWilson basketball for my uncle. I

(50:24):
don't play basketball. Sorry,I don't play. So I'm dribbling this
thing and throwing it all overthe place, and he comes out and he's
got this massive cardboard box.
I said, what is that?
He says, these are comics,Tragi. So I traded my basketball
for 300 comic books, and mylove started from there.

(50:45):
And. And literally to thisday, that's still a sweet ass deal.
My uncle didn't think so. Mymother was like, johnny, you know
that boy don't like sports. What the hell's wrong with you?
Ball cost 15. You got books inthere that could be well over a grand.
So I'm just saying.
So from there, it was Saturdaymorning cartoons, of course. Battle

(51:08):
of the planets GeForce was myfirst introduction to anime. And
we all know Saturday morningcartoons was our cathedral. So Schoolhouse
Rock taught us better than theschool system did, which was great
still to this very day.
Yeah, I can tell that somecertain people in this country have

(51:28):
not seen Schoolhouse Rock inits shows.
You all are missing. Nevermind. Because some of y'all, y'all.
Some of y'all are heathens. Ify'all. If y'all not part of this.
Anyway, so my. My journeygrew. See, I was a preacher's kid
too, so that was a bitdaunting because everything that
I love, you couldn't bringinto the chat. Which is fine. That's

(51:50):
fine. My mother would sneak mecomics. And then my dad was sneaky
comics, God rest his soul. Soas I got older, I began to cosplay
because of a. A schoolproject. My final. My final project.
Great books. We had to take onthe Persona of a character that someone
that was dead. So I took mymother's best sheet. She's never

(52:14):
forgiven me for that. Oh, Itook a. Took some sprinkles of flour.
I borrowed my uncle's glasses.I found sandals. And I went. I got
the biggest stick I could. AndI walked into school and my first
cosplay was my Honda's K.Gandhi. And I got an A plus. I went
to the bathroom looking likethis. I came out looking like this

(52:37):
as I'm walking down thehallway. Good evening to you, sir.
How are you doing? He said, holy cow, you already get an A. Seriously.
And from there, the love justgrew. Got into anime when I was in
the Navy, conventions while Iwas in the military too. This year
makes 35 years I've been goingto conventions. Video gaming from

(52:59):
the time where Pong was. Thatwas a. That was a barn burner right
there.
Oh.
Oh, you cheated. And thenthat's how fight started. Thank you
for that. Then from there, Ijust. I just blossomed and I bloomed
and I discovered everythingthat I love, everything behind me

(53:19):
is a testament to what Iloved, whether it's sci fi, anime,
Dungeons and Dragons, comics, board gaming, video gaming, you name
it. And it just shows thatwhen you love this, you embrace this.
Did I have Ops?
Oh, yeah.
I married two of them. Trustme, I had ops. I did.

(53:44):
Wolfie is like, jesus, I'm serious.
It's no, it's no joke, y'all.I almost lost my comic collection
because my ex wife decided shewas going to put everything in a
storage shed, a storage unit, and she didn't pay for it. I had
to contact the storage companyto get my stuff. Went to my best

(54:05):
friend. I said, you hold on tothese. Did like, call back for them.
She said, I got you. Ten yearslater, she said, you want your comics,
I want my comments. I came andgot them, and they hear home.
Damn.
That. That was. That last partalmost gave me a heart attack, I'm
not gonna lie.

(54:25):
No, no, I. I've.
I have been privy to that, youknow, in a form, but it wasn't. It's.
I'll get to that. Oh.
So. So, Captain of the ship asa. As your shepherd book of this
illustrious vessel, how, praytell, did you become, as you are

(54:47):
now, the blood captain yourself?
Well, sit right down and I'lltell you a tale of a tale of a fateful
trip.
I need a drink.
No. I've been exposed to,like, all forms of entertainment
as a kid. I looked up to LoneRanger and Zorro and Bandit from

(55:08):
Smokey and the Bandit. So,and, and, and, and. And Bugs Bunny.
So you can imagine where allthis troublemaking would start. So,
being exposed to all thatstuff and then, and then Christopher
Reeve, Superman, and the firstcomic I received, I was about 7 or
8 and it was through mygrandmother who had took me to a

(55:31):
second hand store. She wasgetting secondhand store grandma
stuff, I don't know. And she.I seen a pile of books on the table
and I didn't know some of theother characters because I've never
seen them before except forone. And it was whatever happened
to the man of Tomorrow? Theman of. And it was Superman issue

(55:52):
423. The, the COVID was justno good. The COVID was no good. Like
it was tattered all the hellbut I wanted. And the lady she knew
at the second hand store gaveit to her and she said yeah, he can
have it for free. It belongedto her grandson. He's. He's not reading
them anymore. So I, it startedreading from there. My mom kept a

(56:14):
book in my face. So I've reada lot of encyclopedias, you know,
when they go door to door. Iwas like consistently reading everywhere
all the time. And mygrandmother seen I had an affinity
for comics. So whenever theyfound some comics they bring it in.
Didn't matter where it wascoming from. I was reading them.

(56:35):
And as, as you know, productof the 80s, Thundercats, He Man,
GI Joe, Silver Hawks, all ofthat Bravestar, you name it, they
were all there. They were allbeing played. Saturday morning, 6am
12pm Straight cartoons on aSaturday, you know, bugs Bunny from

(57:00):
5am to 7am on a Sunday.Knowing I shouldn't have been up
that early because we had togo to church, but just watching all
that stuff and reading allthat stuff and then just gradually
because it wasn't a bookstorenear me. But when, by the time it
was, I was about 16 and wouldcrack casually go get some books.

(57:24):
My, you know, my grandmotherwould take me out to get the books
or my mom. And once that storeshut down and then later on it picked
up when I was about 19 and itwas a bookstore right next to my
job, I would, I would take allmy tips and snatch up a crap ton

(57:45):
of Spider Man. A crap ton of XMen crap ton of Batman. This was
at a time where Spider man hadabout like eight titles.
What Batman is.
Yeah, yeah. So you, youtalking about. It was. This was like
their, the 90s. So you'retalking about implosion. And I was
there for the entire death ofSuperman. And we, I got that graphic

(58:07):
novel and I've got the novelor and I've got the books where he
actually died.
Nice.
Never opened them. So Iactually have two copies because
my brother didn't want his.And I'm like well I'LL keep it. You
know, I'll keep it. You know,I've been around crap. I've been
around every video gameconsole from its inception. Electric

(58:28):
football, ColecoVision, Atari7600. So my wife says, you still
game? I'm like, I was born init. What do you. What do you mean?
So playing all those games, reading all those comics. Anime came
later, like in my mid-20s andbeing at work at a hospital and finding

(58:51):
out one of the other guyswatches dbz. And it just started
from there. Like I was suckedin. And I know people have heard
me tell the story aboutstaying up late on a Friday night
and being exposed to ecw.Yeah. And then all the anime movies
after that. So it was, it wasbuilding like compounding. Compounding.

(59:14):
I was around Dungeons andDragons, watched the cartoon and
everything and was pretty muchmolded by this entire lifestyle.
Fast forward some years. I'vecollected quite a bit thanks to Mama
Fury who's gotten my stuff in.In collection in order, bagged, boarded,

(59:35):
the whole nine she got. Shesaid she would. Thank God it's Mama
Fury. So she, she said shekept that first half of the collection
and stopped for a whilebecause that store, the store I used
to go to, that one shut down.Which is why I say go and support
your brick and mortarbookstores when you can, where you

(59:56):
can shout out to Carolyn Johnshere in Cleveland or I should say
in the camp's corner area andjust being involved with all that.
And I didn't get intopodcasting until I went to media
school and shout out to TommyD of Circle, Circle of Nerds, who
I was also a part of thatcrew. He wasn't one of the instructors

(01:00:18):
I was entered. He was aninstructor or ex instructor of the
school. And he introduced me,you know, I was already into Star
wars and everything and thangoing to his house to record his
show and seeing that he is amassive Star wars fan of, of owning
things I've never even seen. And to the point he even has a Captain

(01:00:40):
Rex outfit that he built andeverything else. And he's weathered.
So it was, it was somethingworthy of, of. I'm like, can I stay
tonight and I'll sleep on thecouch. I won't bother you and your
wife at all. You won't evenknow I'm here. So he got me, he on
me with the podcastingjourney. And he was the one that

(01:01:01):
coined me Chris Fury becausehe says, you know a lot about movies,
you know a lot about cartoonsand television shows. Star wars comics.
He says you are the man on thewall. Like, you're, you're like Nick
Fury was for the Watcher. Youwere the man on the wall and you've
seen it all and you witnessedit all. So that's where the whole

(01:01:23):
name came from. And he said, run with it. And they didn't. Here
it is. I. Here I am. I builtmy entire crew. And there is one
phrase I will never repeat inlife due to its nature. And it's

(01:01:43):
from Firefly and it's fromWash, the pilot. So if it. You. It's.
It's the final line. He says,oh, exactly. I will never repeat
that line. It's a cool linebecause, yeah, it's. It's a. It's

(01:02:07):
a connotation to it. And it'sjust like I'm afraid what's gonna
happen after I finish thatline. But it always starts off, I'm
a leaf on the wind. Watch howI. And you just. Yeah, it's. It's
never, it's. It's never likeI've. I've made road trips and almost
said that line. Killing,Killing time. And I'm like, yeah,

(01:02:29):
I better not repeat that. Thatmight be the time that the truck
might shut down or something. So, yeah, so, yeah, I. But yeah,
I've been exposed to so muchand still get exposed to so much
and every day. Every, everyday. And, you know, so when I see
people online griping aboutstuff they know nothing about, and

(01:02:54):
I. And I feel like that oneperson is just like, actually, you're
wrong.
At least, at least you're notthe comic book guy from the Simpsons.
Yeah, like, I don't, I don'tcarry that. I hate to be. I hate
to sound like that. I'm like.But it's true. You're wrong. You'll

(01:03:15):
see a proof. You'll see proofof that later on tonight. Said. Wait,
it's not Fury. No, Fury is notmy given name. It's not my birth
name. I should say. I thoughtmy name was Fury the whole time.
I love it.
That's what some people haveknown you as for the last five years.
So that's a fair point.

(01:03:35):
It's how I stay under thegrid. Uncle Nick does it. And it
works. So why not safaribefore we go to break? Tell the people
how you got started in theblurred space. And when you recognize
it was a safe space.
I mean, if it's just theblurred origin story that's more

(01:03:59):
so recent. That was. Wascollege. And that was more so an
outside looking in type ofThing because when you are black
at a white college and it's areligious school and it's a mostly
red leaning school, you'rebasically like a fish out of water.
So they hit you with all thelike, weird and Oreo turns because
it's like they don't know whatbox you fit in. And we're just like,

(01:04:19):
they didn't know. They. Theydidn't know. They made us like this.
But I kept it. Got to bearound sophomore year, I went to
go see, what was it? Battle ofGods. And I'm like, yeah, yeah. That's
when everyone kind ofrealized, oh, he doesn't give a what
we think, clearly, becausey'all keep asking me how it was.
Then we get to junior year andthe Resurrection F came out and everybody
kept asking, like, well, wherecan I go see it if I'm interested?

(01:04:42):
Then we get the senior year, and now super is out and everybody's
asking me what bootleg site touse. But around senior year. And
I've actually talked to himabout this. That's kind of when RDC
started to pop off. So here'sMark and here's Berlin. Two different
guys in my same age, in mysame spot in life, who are also doing

(01:05:02):
the same thing I am, which islike talking about this type of stuff.
It's working for them. For me,not so much because of who I'm around,
but just seeing two otherpeople who were doing that and succeeding
at it let me know I wasn'tcrazy and that there is other people
like me. Even if I have movedaway from my hometown, where it seemed
like I. That's the only placewhere I found others like myself.

(01:05:27):
I know that you're like amassive sonic fan and a massive Looney
Tunes.
Yeah.
Which is. Which was surprisingwhen I first heard you say it. I'm
like, oh, he's on. Oh, heknows Looney Tunes. Thank God.
Space Jam was the firstbootleg I ever owned. I've watched
that probably more than theactual legit DVDs I had. I don't
know what it was. I think youhad to, like, call the line or something

(01:05:49):
and get it on your television.I just know, like, I see the number
pop up and then it cuts. Thetape cuts to spaceship, like an hour
and a half and then anothermovie. And I'm like, I don't know
what my mom taped over, butthis is my family. My family owns
a little piece of land over inthe west side of Orlando that my
great grandma built. So thehouse has been paid off like generations.

(01:06:13):
But whenever you're down andhurt, that house is where you go
stay. So at one point, my AuntRose was staying over there, but
my mom used to go to workearly, so I was. I'd get up at like
6 and up until like 8, whenthe bus would come, I'd stay at my
Rose's house. But my cousinsCarmen and Crystal were already in
high school, so they would begone. But they had a Sega in the

(01:06:34):
living room. So that's howSonic became like the first game
I ever played, because that'swhat I would play waiting until I
got on the bus in the morningin kindergarten. And then my dad
had a buddy named J. Rip Jr.Gave me my first Dreamcast, if anybody
remembers the old, old DBZtapes with where they used to advertise

(01:06:56):
the Z Store. And it was justlike this warehouse with all the
imported stuff on it. Likewhen I would go to JR's house, he
had every action figure allin. In boxes, by the way. Nothing
was open. Every action figure, every vhs, every dvd, just decorating
his entire house. So. And thatwas like my first intro to Dragon

(01:07:16):
Ball because he had. He had everything.
See, people don't understand.By the way, I'm glad you mentioned
Sega, the original Sega, stillto this day, ahead of his time. That,
that special area where youhad that card, that micro card. Oh,

(01:07:36):
like, there was the. There wasthe cartridge and then there was
a special spot that you hadlike a micro card that you. I'm like,
no one else was doing this. Noone. Alex kid in Miracle World.
I gotta go dig mine. I gottago digging out of my parents, out
of my.
I have two of them because oneof my cousins in Texas, they had

(01:07:57):
a house fire and. But they, they somehow the Sega managed. And
he was like, he sent it up tome. He's like, you want it? Yeah,
I want it.
Yeah.
The master system. Yeah.
With that, with the third, with the 32X and the Sega CD, when
you could actually play CDsoff of it.
Sonic 3 was like the firstDLC. They had like 50 attachments

(01:08:18):
you could add to one cartridge.
And then we ain't even talkingabout the, the GameCube, which had
wild attachments to it likenobody knew about until much.
GameCube was an alien artifactthat it somehow became popular. That's
what that was.
That was one of my happiestthings to stream when I was doing
the marathon, because I waslike, look, I still have the, the

(01:08:39):
cable, so you can take the,the chow out of Sonic Adventure or
Sonic advance in here. You canactually, like, put them on, like,
steroids and max out theirstats as babies. And then you can
put them into the GameCube andwin all the tournaments. And then
they evolve with these statsthat you gave them. But if you don't
treat them right, then theydon't come back. And that's the sad
part.
But if you had the. But if youhad the hard drive with the network,

(01:09:00):
with a network attachment, theJapanese models. But you can get
it.
That's what I didn'tunderstand. Like, how's everybody
getting Fantasy Star Online inthese special. Ciao and Sonic? And
then we realized, oh, Japangets stuff that we don't cool.
Oh, but.
But they get all the cool stuff.
That is the main philosophythey get. We will never.
I will say this because theyhave a.

(01:09:21):
They have a mech unit.
Yep. Literally. But this isthe reason why you keep holding the
wall. You keep going to Holein the Wall video game stores. Because
that's how I found out. Theguy was like, they're not blocking
you. You just have to call andplace an order. I said that. That's
it. Yeah. Here. Here's thenumber. Call an order. You'll get
the part. You'll get the partshipped to your house. And I was

(01:09:42):
like, that's the best 50 bucksI ever spent. I was like, just to
have that. And you canliterally play online on the gamecube.
I was playing Smash. We wereplants. I won't say which is me.
Me and my brothers were allplaying smash. But God knows who's
playing at the time. But yeah, just little things like that. You
wouldn't know unless you hadHole in the Wall swords. You can
go to.
Yeah. Shout out to Gamers Inc.Orlando in Florida, because they.

(01:10:05):
They do raffles every now andthen. So I won a modded gamecube.
So it's got the region freechip in it, which is how I can play,
like, us and Japanese stuff on.
The same system before we goto break. I know when I started back
up comic collecting, it waswith my wife when we, like, our first

(01:10:25):
year of marriage. And I seen XMen. And this was when they were
wearing black leather andeverything else. And I'm like, this
is beast. Now. I was involvedin books. I'm like, oh, let me get
this. And then I grabbed acouple and my wife. My wife was getting
her nails done. So when sheseen me come out, she's like, wait,
you read comics? And this isall I could say to her.

(01:10:47):
You in danger. Girl.
And he found it.
Really?
Y'all.
Y'all get a kick real quick.I'll tell you this. I. I have my
original Nintendo 64, and Ihave Pokemon Snap Insta sitting.

(01:11:09):
In mine right now.
Wow.
Somebody offered me 200 for mygame. I said, go find your own. I'm
not doing this for an original.
Yeah, they try to be on thecheap side.
They did. They could cheap theass away from me because I told them
no.
If you haven't found yourtribe yet, just know that they're

(01:11:30):
out there.
That's it.
You very much have to justfind them like me. But eventually,
you will get there. You willget away from the river.
Finds a way.
It was annoying about it. Itwas just like. Because the. What
was it? The people take animetoo far. Those videos started getting
popular. So now every timethey get posted, I'd be in class
and I have like eight peopletagging me under the same thing.

(01:11:50):
I'm like, y'all. Do y'all notsee each other? And then it got to
the point where I hadnotifications on and like, hey, stop
tagging me. I've seen it. Andthen they would go right under that
comment and tag me six times. And so when I told Mark this, he
was like, that's funny. He'slike, it's kind of up, but that is
funny.
Let me dig out all my oldsystems now, See.
Well, we're gonna take abreak. We're gonna come back. We

(01:12:12):
got a little bit of news, acouple trailers to check out, and
then we're going to talk aboutand break down as best we can. Daredevil
born Again Episode 9 A Violent.
Fest Ladies and gentlemen, theViolence fest.
It was a draw dropper. I. Iwill say that. No. We'll. We'll be
right back. Blur's Eye View isa proud affiliate of Otaku Noir.

(01:13:08):
It.

(01:14:00):
So this past 24 hours has beenbusy, at least with trailers. We
already got Star Wars, StarWars Celebration, which has already
started, I believe. Yep. Yes,that's probably going on.
Yeah, they got. I thinkthey're right now the Mandalorian
and Grogu panel.
Yeah. So talk about fine timing.

(01:14:20):
Are they streaming it on Twitch?
No, I just see stuff. I justsee stories of people there I don't
think there's any live.Anything happening.
Yeah, because I don't think. Idon't think it's being broadcast.
I just. I just barely saw aStar wars game get mentioned, so
it's probably just coming outin spurts.
Wow.
I think they're gonna streamthis weekend, if I'm.

(01:14:41):
I was gonna say, because it'skind of early in the.
There.
There's.
So to speak.
There's like. I think there's,like, a lot of, like, little panels,
but it doesn't really. Itdidn't start. Well, I guess it's
already Friday there now, but.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
They start streaming tomorrow.Day one streams tomorrow. And you
can see it on YouTube as well.
Okay, we'll be. Oh, God. It'sgonna be a busy weekend. All right,

(01:15:02):
so let's get it going. Sowe've been getting hit with a couple
trailers. It's like, I have alineup in there to say. Hey, wait,
not yet. The first one is thefinal trailer for Thunderbolts, which

(01:15:27):
comes out May 2nd. This oneis. I've heard nothing but good floating
around this movie, the wayit's been shot, everything that's
being told. So we're going tobe checking it out right now. Lena
being hero. There is no higher calling.

(01:15:50):
Your sister understoodsomething about that. I should have
come back for you.
No, that's just a fairy tale.
I was in high school when theAvengers came. Kind of strange that
it's all over now. No one'scoming to save the day.

(01:16:13):
I think we are.
We can be the ones that are coming.
Buck, you have the wrongpeople. We have all done bad things.
Look out there where you are.The past doesn't go away. So you
can either live with itforever or you can do something about

(01:16:34):
it. I am a void. Look what youunleash. You can't outrun the emptiness.
We can't do this. No one hereis a hero. You all have things that

(01:16:57):
we regret.
But I have so many. Lena, WhenI look at you, I.
Don'T see our mistakes. That'swhy we need each other. We can't

(01:17:20):
stop him alone. No one can.But we can find a way together. Marvel
Studios Thunderbolt. Well, this looks interesting. The whole

(01:17:48):
relationship between Yelena,Red, Guardian. This is gonna be deep.
Yep. The actress thing stillbothers me, though.
But is that a symbol forsomething that it feels like anymore?
They keep saying it's going toget revealed or. I wouldn't be surprised

(01:18:08):
if we get, like, a titlechange at the end credits Saying
Dark Avengers or.
Right.
Yeah. So, like, they keepsaying, like, they. They've been
asking about this asterisk. They will not reveal it. They just.
That's the same like Tafarsaid. They are not revealing this
until this movie drops. So Idon't know what's going on. I am.
I was already intrigued ifpeople don't know me now, I'm normal

(01:18:30):
Marveler, you know, so. But.And. And I. I love Yelena's portrayal
as. As the next Widow RedGuardians. This is a redemption movie
for real.
Yeah.
This is because even us Agent, who we could not stand during the
Captain America and. AndWinter Soldiers television show is

(01:18:56):
like, I messed up. I messed up.
But like you said, it's allredemption. Maybe you're muted.
Go ahead, lady.
He's being more of a thundercunt instead of a thunderbolt.
Damn. I. I unmuted at theright time. That timing was impeccable.

(01:19:23):
I was.
I was thinking about theasterisks, and there are what, five
members of the deb. Of the Thunderbolts.
Yep.
And the asterisk is the five point.
Five points.
Five point star. So NewAvengers, perhaps. Because if you
look at the. The meeting tablethat the Avengers sat at, it had
five seats.

(01:19:44):
Yep. We can go keep.
They keep saying whether it'sthunderbolts or whether it's any
other Marvel. They've beensaying the Avengers aren't around
anymore. Yeah, they literally. They are. After Tony and after Cap,
Thor is in the wind. I mean,he'll be back. Obviously he'll be

(01:20:08):
back, but they're in the windright now.
What. What if this is a newAvengers movie?
Come again?
What if this is a new Avengers.
Movie and then they're hidingit behind the asterisk?
Yeah.
Yeah. The.
The scenes that we're seeingare extremely limited. We keep seeing

(01:20:32):
only those scenes. Theyhaven't really given us anything
else. Anything.
They've even. They've evenmentioned Taskmaster in the beginning
of this whole thing. And thenall of a sudden, you stop hearing
about Taskmaster. Yeah.
Poor bomb surviving child.

(01:20:52):
Right.
So, yeah, it's. I. I mean, Iwas. Like I said, it's already on
board. I'm curious about thatasterisk. I'm liking this redemption
story. Seeing Yelena break it,seeing her broken. That's what it
is. It's. See, because we had.Outside of her losing Natasha, we

(01:21:16):
haven't really seen her break.
Right.
She hasn't grieved for her sister.
No.
Not like she.
Not like she's wanted to. E.Even when we seen her at the grave
site. She was beinginterrupted then.
Or even the family that shehad, because she was. She was the

(01:21:37):
youngest one of that fourfamily unit, and she was snatched
out of it when, you know, shewas probably forming her strongest
bonds.
Yeah.
And she was willing tosacrifice herself in the Black Widow
movie to save the rest ofthem. So she. She's invested. She
was invested as with them as afamily unit. And this could be her

(01:21:58):
replacement family.
Yeah. Like she's looking at.Even with Red Guardian. He is. Because
he's really taken on thatfather role. He did then, you know,
despite the. How everythinglooked, he still. He still viewed
Natasha and Yelena. Those wereher. His daughters.
Yep.
You know, and. But the wayYelena had. They didn't. She did

(01:22:21):
not take that death like sheshould have. She didn't take it well.
She didn't have time to grieve.
Right.
When we see her at the end ofBlack Widow, she's at the gravesite
and. And the contessa comes upand she's like, you know, this is
my off day. It's like, youcame and tracked this woman down
when she's grieving to come doa job.

(01:22:44):
Screams a lot.
Yeah. At her time.
Be onto something new.
I can see Dark Avengersbecause it makes sense.
Definitely not the Invaders, though.
No. I. I would go with Secret Avengers.
I feel like we can see makinga cameo in here, same way Bucky did

(01:23:05):
for his movie. Maybe trying topull one or two of them up, resorting
to saying, no, we stay as ateam over here for who knows what.
But if you need us, you knowwhat? Ask. If you know what, you
need us, you know where tocall us. Something like that.
Yeah. Because there's only somuch bucking you do. He's a politician

(01:23:26):
now.
I'm curious how long thatlasts after this movie.
Yeah.
Well, if it follows. Well, I'mgonna say that because they may not
follow the comics. It mightnot follow the new Thunderbolts.
Let me not say that.
No, I. I don't think it willlike to it. Like to it. I. I like
not knowing. As long as it'snot too far off the mark. They may.

(01:23:47):
What they've been doing isthey've been able to tell the stories
outside of Secret Invasion. They've been able to tell the stories
to make them make sense.
Yeah.
So I. I can appreciate theirstorytelling. And with this, I. I
think we're in for a deep onefor this one.
I think they're trying to gofor gut wrenching.

(01:24:08):
Oh, Yeah.
I mean, it works so well for Guardians.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I can't bring myself. I can'tbring myself.
It's hard to watch that thirdone and not tear up. I'm sorry. I'm
like. It's still hard to watch.
I'm like, if you're notfeeling anything after that third
one, you're not even alive.

(01:24:29):
In the first one, when he waslike. He called me vermin. I was
like, oh, no.
Then you go back and watch thefirst. The previous two, you're just
like. Like, God, it all makessense. This just wasn't random. Even.
Even from. Damn you, gun. Ilove it.

(01:24:50):
We'll all go ahead and travelin that big beautiful sky. And then
five minutes later, damn deepest.
Convo in the MCU was between ablue man and a space raccoon. Who
would have thought?
Okay, that. And then hisadopted son. That boy wasn't. That
man was your father. I'm yourdaddy. What wrong?

(01:25:14):
He was like, no.
So somewhere in the backgroundof all this, I guess Peter is just
taking a nap. And Fisk islike, you know what? Curfew's going
up to six. This is. I'm sick of.
Oh, man. So earlier today, wehad another trailer drop. And that
one was Fantastic Four. We gotthe full trailer for this one. This

(01:25:39):
is where that not exactlything comes into play. We're gonna
check that out right now.
Wow. Folks, we all know thestory. Four brave astronauts head
off into space and come backforever. Ever changed this car. Our

(01:26:03):
city, our planet. Owe a debtto these intrepid souls. And while
we can never repay them, wecan certainly celebrate them.
Thank you, Fantastic Four.
Thank you.
Thank you, Fantastic Four. Please welcome the Fantastic Four.
Herbie, how's that saucelooking? Okay.

(01:26:29):
That is fantastic.
You're late. What do you mean? What do you mean what do I mean?
You're late for dinner.
Yes, we are you late.
I just said that.
Are you pregnant?
What?
You're gonna be the best momin the world.
And you are gonna be the best dad.
Just kidding. You are out ofyour death.
We.
We're gonna be the best unclesever. We can do this. All things

(01:26:52):
going to change.
Are you the protectors of this world?
Yes, we are.
Your planet is now marked for death.

(01:27:16):
Lauren ran. It's my fault, right?
I stretched the bounds ofspace and they hurt.
Are we safe?
I don't know. There's notenough time.

(01:27:39):
I am not giving up. We willface this together. We will fight
it together as a family.
Has to be us.

(01:28:11):
We will protect you.
Oh, no, that is.

(01:28:32):
So you've got an entertainmentportion of the show. Here's the enter.
Here's the education portionof the show for you incels out there
that don't know what the hellyou're talking about. Surfer, let
me tell you, go pick up abook. Earth x issue number 12. Her

(01:28:56):
name is Shala Bell. She is thelover of Noren radio.
And she was a silver.
Get off your wide horse. Theytold you. I know what the hell I'm
talking about.
I did that on purpose. ButSilver server was a guy.
Shut the up. You've heard whatwe said. You've seen. You've seen

(01:29:19):
them. You've seen the details. Now go touch grass.
When you're sniffing Doritodust, you tend to think a little
bit askew. No. When you'rehaving that cool ranch withdrawal.

(01:29:41):
Tostitos.
What kind of Tostitos though?
That.
That tells the difference.Okay, okay. I with you. Yes, ma'am.
Okay, that part. That part.Bama. Galactus is not a fart cloud
this time. That part.
Right.
Thank God.
I don't know how I feel abouthim walking on the planet though.

(01:30:06):
I was gonna say. Is he. Hashe. Did he shrink down to come deal
with this personally? Becausenow I was gonna say what has pushed
him to the point where nowit's like we're not just going to
be the size of the planet. Wenow need to come and walk. Take a
stroll through what is clearlyan evacuated New York.
Personally, that could be afever dream.

(01:30:27):
Do we think. Dude, one of my.Do we think Reed is having. Yeah,
Wanda giving Tony level nightmares.
That's what I think it is. Ithink. I think Reed is having. I
think Reed is having a feverdream because you're right. Galactus
can't really shrink down insize. I mean he could but. But in

(01:30:47):
this case. In this case itmakes too. It makes too much sense.
Reed having a crisis ofconscience. I can't figure out how
to solve the problem. It iskind of Tony Stark esque with the
Infinity with it. With theInfinity Stone. So I. I chalked that
up to just read. Having afever dream in his. In his own mind.
Fighting Galactus.
That makes a lot of senseactually. Especially if they are

(01:31:11):
they talking to this versionof the Silver Surfer and are able
to actually talk to her andshe says this is what's to come about,
you know.
Are you the Guardians? I lovethat. I love the fact that line.
I'm like somebody was payingattention when reading comics. The
Guardians of. Are you theGuardians of this Planet I almost

(01:31:32):
had, Almost had a Ghostbustermoment. If they ask if you're a God,
you say yes.
Yes. So I, I, this does lookgood. I like the 60 that 60s style.
Yes. The fantastic car will beseen. They showed it like in a teaser
trailer. Yeah, go ahead.

(01:31:52):
Hi. I feel like this is givinga, an alternate a. It's an alternate
universe.
Yes.
And this is how we getreplacing. Shut up.
You totally missed it.
The bubbles are the balloons.

(01:32:15):
Your eyes were closing. Theballoons came up.
Nice. This feels like howthey're going to replace Tony.
I would say, I would saythat's okay.
Especially with the wholefever dream situation. Oh yeah, the
planet. There's this greatthing coming. I need to create a
shield over the planet.

(01:32:37):
Yeah.
I wouldn't be surprised if weget it. If we get a doom reveal with
him being like, yeah, I'mhaving nightmares. And he's just
like, yeah, and I told you notto touch none of this. But do you
ever listen to me?
No, but also, but also at thesame time, this is the 60s. Howard
Stark is still around.
Yes.
If, if, yeah, if it, ifthere's a Howard Stark in that universe

(01:33:00):
and if it is, is he the same?Obviously he's not going to be the
same. How we start. He may notbe the.
I kind of think there'll be aStark reference. And Reed just goes,
yeah, him and me are twodifferent people.
Yeah.
I just sit there and go, he can.
This might be Tony stank inthis universe.

(01:33:22):
Yeah. This could, this couldresult in them having to abandon
ship. And like I was sayingbefore, you just. You leave doom
behind in the. What's left ofyour world. And all he needs to know
is that other worlds can betraveled to. He doesn't need to be
shown how to do it. He justneeds to know it's possible. Next
time you see him, he's a mask.God knows what and done who knows
what where with who and gain.Or just been aura farming like he

(01:33:45):
did in ultimate alliance. Thatman would install like every cosmic
everything.
I, I'm, I like what they'vedone. I'm with it. I like how they've
gone right past the wholeintro. Let's like the whole introduction.
How did they get their powers?Blah, blah, blah. They got that out

(01:34:05):
the way real quick.
Yeah.
Like, it's not, it's likereally like he, the, the television
show host. The TV show host. He, he kind of does a quick run through.
So it's, no, it's notnecessary to say, hey, let's Retell
this story again and like no,we. It's like Spider Man. It's like
Batman. It's like super. Weknow these stories. Like they've

(01:34:27):
been around long enough. They. They just kind of know this story.
Yeah.
The fact that the thing is nowlike a public figure amongst kids
this time around versus justpublicly despised because of how
he looks.
Right.
Yeah.
Yes. Kira, with your revelation.
The.

(01:34:48):
The.
The tiny whiny loopy thingythat happened in the Marvel's movie.
Ah, yes.
Is this ripple is stillrippling. Correct. Is that a. Is
that a thing?
I would think that there havebeen some form of after effects from
there are trying to close.

(01:35:08):
They closed it but technicallyit can be. It can be caused elsewhere.
Yeah, we are. We are there. Ifthere is a rip, there's probably
a ripple of some four.
Considering the fact that heis trying to build. He's trying to
build an interdimensional. Aninterdimensional bridge. So chances
are there are incursionsoccurring and he actually may accidentally

(01:35:30):
cause one.
Or strange is out dealing withan in incursion. Monica has ripped.
Well, Monica didn't rip thehole in the universe, but a hole
was ripped. Loki has beendealing with some things.
What you got? What you got? Kira?
I think. I feel like there's.This is all gonna happen at the same

(01:35:53):
time. And when Monica closesthat hole, that's when they come
over to our.
Yes, I can see that that's apossibility. I also feel like maybe
Galactus has other plans.Maybe he needed the fact that he
was able to send a signal out.Maybe he needs Reed personally for
something possible. And thatcould be why he's making this such

(01:36:14):
a personal mission.
Yep.
Someone tell Malaika to stopbeing like this. Okay? Please.
You are usually the holy onedown there.
Who are you? You know what Iwas about to say? I was about to
say God dang it, Bama. I'mlike no, it's not Bama. This time.
It was bad.

(01:36:36):
It is almost. We are on thedawn of Easter Sunday. Come on now.
That's the perfect time to doit. Don't that and what.
Rev is saying. Enjoy GoodFriday but pay extra tires on Sunday.
Right now. Mal just gave upholding back for let. He didn't.

(01:36:56):
I've never. Wow.
I think we are getting anultimate alliance level set up with
at least kind of. Everybodywas just hanging out of Stark Tower
in that game. I think it'sgoing to be that. But just we have
cross gateways to get to whowe need to.
Yeah, I believe because theynever really cracked the secret of

(01:37:18):
Kamala's bangles.
Right.
So they don't know the full. They don't know the full.
Didn't they try to linkKamala's Bengals and the ten Rings
as saying they're.
Then there's that. There's that.
They're connected.
Yeah.
Yeah. Can we get a call backto that, please?
So there's, like, there.There's a lot. And I think that's

(01:37:42):
where. I think that's wherethe patient part of everything is
playing out. They're justlike, no, these things have been
literally been dropped andyou. You forgot about them. But these
things have been. There's thethings in. In Shangxi. There's the
things with Kamala's bangles. There's the. The hole that got ripped
that Monica had to close. JustLoki trying to tie everything together.

(01:38:04):
And then Photon, I think, hasthe same Bangles in. In the end credit
scene or her mom.
Her mom has it. Yeah, her mom. Yeah.
Yeah, her mom has one. Yeah.So is. There's. There's things are.
You know, they're strange inthe incursion. Who's to say that.

(01:38:25):
And then Reed building, possibly built. Trying to find a
way to build aninterdimensional bridge. Who's to
say, like Kira said. Who's tosay that these moments are literally
the thing that kickseverything off?
It's almost that the watch isjust sitting there watching. The
watch is like, just stop, allof you. Stop, all of you.

(01:38:51):
That's what y'all were talkingabout the. The what if series, too.
Yeah. Yeah. So he's probablyjust. He's like, oh, dear, not again.
What about. All this is goingon as they're having that big clash
on whatever. On StrangestSupremes Universe? It's like. Well,
we would have been payingattention, but we had, like, some

(01:39:12):
internal issues to deal with.
We had to clear it out. We hadto clear up. We had a problem at
hr, so we had to take care of that.
Wow.
Restructuring.
Yeah.
So restructuring.
I mean, you might as well be.
So. Yeah. They said there isone more trailer to drop.
Really?
I feel like we've seen enough, right?

(01:39:35):
No, not in their eyes.
I mean, I like, I look afterseeing, like, sinners. I appreciate.
No, not.
Not for Fantastic Four.
They said, oh, okay, okay, okay. I'm gonna say, like, I'm. I
feel like y'all giving meenough without telling me anything.
And that's great.
Yeah. Because it's gettingready to be a heavy, heavy summer.
Right.

(01:39:55):
Super Jurassic 4.
I feel sorry for Jurassic 4right now.
Nobody going to see that movie.
People are gonna see it, butit's gonna be like, what does your
wallet want to say?
I think those. Those threewill be fine. Smurfs, you need to
just pick, like, next yearhere. Stop it.
Right? Smurf needs to redo there.
The battle will be held on therubble that is now Smurf Village.

(01:40:18):
No, the Smurfs need to bethrown into the sun. That's what
that needs to happen.
Rihanna, until you give usthat album, baby, everything you
touch gonna fail.
Well, according to Queen riri, she said she's. She might have another
set of another kid. She's justtrying to enjoy her man right now.
I'm like, well, I ain't mad at you.
Hear her singing, though. Howabout a round of applause?

(01:40:39):
Especially after she droppedthat old. That. That. This new lingerie.
Fenty.
She said that?
She just did. And I'm like, Isee why he's going to give you another
kiss.
He said Fenty is doing wellasap. Ain't saying nothing. He doesn't
beat that case, and. Nevermind. Let me. Let me change.
No, he did.
He beat that case, and he.
Shut up. Exactly.
You saw exactly where I wasgoing, bro.

(01:41:01):
You beat the case, and you gobe black and happy and quiet about
it. There's nothing wrong.
Let's go that route.
Every Caribbean auntie she hasin her family is clapping it up for
her.
By the way, Lady Mandalore,Star Wars Celebration is currently
streaming right now.
I know it is. That's why Isaid I think it's. It's starting
tonight.
Yep. Hayden Christensen is nowtalking on the stage first.

(01:41:23):
Speaking of which, I thinkthat's actually at the theaters this
weekend as well.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Is it this Revenge of the Sith?
Is it 22nd?
That's. That's gonna be what? The Revenge. The rerun. That's next
month.
Okay, okay.
I don't know how they gottheir hands on that footage of Hayden

(01:41:44):
this early, but someone'sgetting shot.
All I got is there and say isall these leaks. And yet the Warner
Brothers vault still remainsthe most guarded secret in all of
movie studios.
Release Bad girl.
Thank you. He whispered it.Y'all got the same people from the.
Y'all have the same peoplethat got employed by GTA 6 to take

(01:42:06):
out snipers sitting on that vault.
Oh, never mind.
Apparently, that's where theyspent all the money.
Okay, so apparently it's gonnastart April 25th. Revenge of the
Sith is.
Okay, okay.
I Don't know how long it's running.
We got eight days. One week.
Yep. Running for a week andsome change, I think, up until, like,

(01:42:27):
the anniversary of the actualfilm. Aiden does, like, a special
presentation at the beginning.
Yeah. Somebody leaked that, which.
Yeah, that much I saw. Ticketsare on sale already, though.
Although it's nice to see thatman getting his flowers. Him and
Ahmed. And shout out to Ahmed, because again, I'm. I'm just starting
my run on south of MidnightTwo toe Tom needs to be a suit. How

(01:42:49):
dare y'all try to heal agator. That gator should be a suit
belt. I should be having gatorfritters with some. Some catfish
right now. I. I'm sorry.Anyway, Silent Midnight. Go enjoy
it. It's fun.
Oh, my God. So if you've beenliving under a rock, Daredevil Born
again, Episode nine droppedthis past Tuesday.

(01:43:11):
Unbelievable. Oh, unbelievable.
Is it safe to say good cinemaat this point?
Yes.
Yes. Blood is slippery, ladiesand gentlemen.
Yeah. If you were worried forthose naysayers who were worried
about how Daredevil will betreated now that Disney controls
pretty much all the propertiesthat they. Under the marble umbrella,

(01:43:33):
you don't have to worry atall. This. This season has proven
you wrong. They did not miss abeat. John Barenthal's Punisher.
I'm going to go on a limb andsay it. He is the best version of
Punisher I have seen to date.Shout out to whoever it used to be,

(01:43:58):
Thomas Jane, whoever.
Whoever gave whoever sold Jotand Burton all those comics and sat
there and said, don't f thisup. You deserve a productional credit
somewhere.
This. This. There's spoilersahead. This is happening. There's
a lot. I've said it beforethat Daredevil, even in comics, there's

(01:44:22):
always this crisis of. Ofidentity. There's crisis of morality,
the relationship between Mattand Frank. I'm like, I could. I could
go more. I can go for more ofthis. Like, it's volatile, but they
hold each other accountable toa certain degree. It's like Frank

(01:44:47):
knows Matt won't go.
Over the edge, but can we sayFrank was right?
But Frank was right.
Frank was right.
Go ahead. He's right there. Doit. He's the one. That's the one
you were looking for, right?Go ahead, do it. You want me to hear,
I'll do it for you? He said, you just don't have any kind of the
corp. You won't hold back atall. Like, no. Why should. See what

(01:45:10):
these people trying to do toyou, to the city, to everyone. No.
Why would I hold back? No, no.This. This entire season has been
really, really good. Theircinematography. There's a scene near
the end of the episode. Well, where he's in the bar, where Matt

(01:45:33):
is in the bar. Matt is in thebar and he's. He. Josie's. He's in
Josie's and he's talkingabout. He needs an army. There is
a shot because the windows arepretty much covered up with newspaper.
But if you look at thenewspaper, there's articles about
Wilson Fisk and all this otherstuff. And Matt is like. In the one

(01:45:54):
opening of that shot of the.Of the inside of the bar, I'm like,
that's a cool shot. Yeah.
I would say this as well. Andagain, this is not. I did not find
this. People that got eagleeyes decided to look at it. They
found certain. They foundcertain names that were in the newspaper
surrounding Daredevil.Somebody really took the time, magnified

(01:46:19):
it and said. And literallypoint out they circled certain names
and said, this is the reasonwhy I know season two is going to
be not. And season two isgoing to answer our question on where
everybody is.
I mean, if you got a curfewgoing on, Harlow's paradise is pretty
much clapped.
If the day times are night time.

(01:46:40):
It was just right between that.
He's like, hey, we juststarting to open up at 8. We ain't
even.
You can't have only the drugdealers coming in after 8pm that
pretty much puts a bullseye onthe task force. Comes in and just
throws the paddy wagon out.
Of course you can.
Harlem. Harlem's paradisebecomes Harlem Nights damn near.
I mean, Harlem Nice has somelegitimacy going on. You just had

(01:47:03):
one old dude who didn't likeall that money going to black people.
That's what.
At the end of the day withthem, they're just like, we'll use
this place to route all thecriminal activities. Like, damn,
we can't even go outside. Wegotta, like, schedule the drug drops.
On Zoom and say, it's not thesame without Della Reese. That's
all I'm saying. Kiss my entire ass.
Look, if you do room. If youdo a remake, Lunel is right there.

(01:47:29):
That's the closest you'regonna get to that energy.
No, I'd rather do it. Ms. Patwould probably be better than Lunel.
I still. Monique, is it?
Yeah, yeah. Monique.
Yeah.
I feel like it depends betweenMonique and Ms. Pat. I'm gonna.

(01:47:50):
I feel like it depends on ifMonique feels like playing that type
of character that day. Like, you got to ask her at the right time.
Shoot, that's her every day.
I'm just saying, if you catchin the. Hello. If you catch her in
a hello, my baby's mood, andthen say, we need you to play Del
Reese, it's like, no.
So, anyway, about this lastepisode, we realized that Wilson

(01:48:14):
Fist has an unlimited numberof white suits of different variations,
I might add, blood isslippery. Or either that or Gallo
has a lot of product in hishair like that.
Like, do you. How long on theforce? Like, fight back. You're not
just gonna sit here and. Andsqueeze me?

(01:48:36):
Like, here's the.
Here's the thing. When. WhenFisk is doing that, I don't think
there was any kind of fight hecould give.
He got chopped before hegrabbed him. So.
Yeah, and that's a strongdude. Like, he. Like, there's no.
There's no. Get your hands offme. That man is strong.
If this is your head andliterally, it's getting crushed as

(01:48:59):
a man is making eye. There'sjust something odd about a man making
eye contact with you whilehe's crushing the skull of another
man. It just. It's unsettlingis what I'm getting.
Like, this is the way.
Turn your weight.
What is the most disturbing isthe fact that Fisk made that example

(01:49:21):
of him in front of the taskforce and finishes and says, are
there any questions? And noone says anything.
Yeah, I was gonna say. Whatare you gonna say?
I'd be like, hey, so I canjust shoot him, right? Because, like,
I don't. I can't. I'm not ableto. I don't lift that.

(01:49:43):
Right?
Like, I can just.
I'm like, so.
Exactly.
No, stop and frisk. We canjust stop and shoot. Cool.
All right.
I ain't got no questions, boss.
I'm good.
I'm good on the hair. I'm good.
And even then, you put thetarp everywhere but the floor. So,
like, what the. That was mybiggest. That was my biggest thing
about it. I'm like, you did.You did everything to cover the splatter,
except where it's going to belike, see that?

(01:50:05):
No, this. This was the partthat got me. It's all over his suit,
and he's doing, like, this, right?
Oh, that's just that. That'snot caring. That is like, I sat there,
I said, there, showed youguys, you can go my way, you can
go his way.
Tastes just like ketchup.
He wipes his face as he as. Asif he ate a steak.

(01:50:28):
That was a Hannibal move, though. It was almost like. That
was delicious.
Why are y'all introducing meto a new man named Luke? And it's
not Cage. You don't get thisdude up if you don't get this dude
with five lines out my face.
Oh, my God.
Finding out homeboy was theone who killed a white tiger. I don't
see how people, some peoplewere clocking that back in like the

(01:50:50):
third episode. And I don't get how.
Yeah, I was. I would havestraight up thought it was that dude
Powell, the one that Mattrunning into, because I seriously,
I was like, no, it's pow. Itgot to be power. Like, he's got to
be the wrong guy. I don't seehow you made that connection, because
I would have thought all ofthem would have had bullets like
that, not. Not just oneparticular person.

(01:51:14):
Well, the fact that he hadbasically one slip up or one that
we know of that got him on,like, his last department list. And
he was like, yeah, dude wasselling drugs to kids. And I handled
it. And I'm like, that's notas bad as other people around here,
like, trying to beat upinnocent people in the subway or
beat up.
That was a weird. That was aweird turn.
Yeah.
I'm like, dude, you werecoming off like you just had a bad

(01:51:36):
day.
That's so people. Like, yeah,we knew it was found. Like, but how.
Nothing about this characterup until this point has said, right,
it was him. And then let. Lethomeboy over there be a reminder
your co workers are not yourfriends. Because how do you send,
like, half my squad to thePearly Gates or the fiery ones? And
you're trying to recruit thembefore. Like, you're trying to recruit

(01:51:57):
the man that sent them there.
Weed him out. That's all hedid. He weeded him. He weeded out
the. He weeded out the oneswhere it's like, the ones that'll
go against me and the onesthat'll fall in line. Let me make
a list.
I. I guess you. I guess youput them on the front lines of Ryan
shows, like a Call of Dutymatchup. We know you can't shoot.
Just block and. And take the.

(01:52:17):
Yeah.
And then they're gonna say, well, it. Switch to non lethal rounds.
I'm like, do you not see this?
Right?
What. What is. What is. BabyGandolfini can always.
Oh, he went for. Oh, he wentfull Soprano.
Yeah, because when he's inthat. When he's in that. That office
setting and he Starts callingout. I'm like, oh, you've been doing

(01:52:41):
your work. You found out thatthey're like, oh, you found that
they've been stashing moneyand you bought the black man.
Oh, if that.
You put your big boy pants, you.
Put your people a graduatefrom the Wilson Fisk school of business
because he came in there, tacomeat out. Just forget to get a belt.
Forget about the suspendersand just hiking up the pants. I said,

(01:53:04):
you know what?
All.
All you're missing is Pauliefrom the Sopranos to come in and
tell you some bad news. Youbasically him.
But uk, he came, he out thegate and he looks at Buck and says,
what was it again, Buck? AndBuck says, $540,000 in offshore accounts
and such as. He's like, yeah,we. We got to meet up sometime. And

(01:53:26):
real estate. That's a goodplace. I'm like, dude, yeah, she
got real quiet. He got quiet.
The funny thing was, you sawall suspenders, no belt. I couldn't
help but giggle when I'mtalking. I like, really?
All suspenders, no belt at thesame time. I'm sorry.

(01:53:47):
Buttons on buttons.
If anybody is job security andborn again is Buck.
Oh, once again, I've said itthis entire. This entire time we've
covered it. Buck is in roomsthat you just. He's. You don't pay
attention that he's in theroom. You really don't. Like, he's

(01:54:09):
sitting back just enough thatyou realize, oh, wait, he was there.
I seen a body, but I justwasn't paying no attention.
He goes about his business. What you need, boss? I need this
problem taken care of.
And you had one. You had oneslip up that really wasn't your fault.
Bad timing.
Yeah.

(01:54:31):
It's like missed. Missedattempt to give Matt Poison zero
stars.
I went to the room, guy wasgone. He wasn't there.
Daniel is very much givingJ.D. vance vibes, like this entire
show.
Yeah, man. Since you. Sinceyou said that, I've been trying.
To figure out what it is, andI'm like, right, it's the same level

(01:54:53):
of conniving, sniveling andlike, oh, no, but he's right. The
amount of levels of. I want tofit in so bad. I mean, one. One guy
leaks some importantinformation, the other one breaks
a national trophy. It's likethe same.
But. But he. But he's 100,right? Ever since the far. I said
that, I can't get that out ofmy head.

(01:55:16):
Literally. The parallels ofthis, of this show and what's Currently
going on, and you're justlike, this makes no sense.
But I still like Cheetos, so Idon't know how to feel about that.
Yeah, but at least they havecompetence in that universe.
Yeah, I was going to say, yeah.

(01:55:36):
At least there's confidence.
At least Wilson Fix knows whathe's doing. He's like. He knows what.
It's. What he enjoys, and.
And at least learning therules of the game instead of just
flipping the goddamn board.
We were moving millions beforethrough Red Hook. Now with me being

(01:55:56):
mayor, we can remove billions. That's smart.
And now we have Harvard moneyin a cage, multiple cages. Like,
imagine just like, hey, I'lldonate to the money, and you got
to sit here anyway. Like, whatis the bathroom routine? Like, is
everybody just. No ac. Just. Iknow you're gonna grab me. Can I
grab, like, some sweats orsomething? I'm not gonna be sitting
down here in a pantsuit for, like, six months. That my name. I'm

(01:56:19):
not Adam.
That. That scene.
You know what? Never mind.Adam at least got a mattress.
Yeah, that scene. That sceneof seeing everybody in cages. We.
When we did the live stream,we said we was just like, not the
cages. Not. Damn. Like, geekby heart was shocked. She was like,

(01:56:42):
oh, my God.
All. All his. All his enemies. He sat there and said, I have taken
care of all obstacles, andevery one of my enemies is sitting
right there in my. In thatcage as you just show them with your
wife. As if y'all are justgoing to the Louvre right now. Just.
Let's admire this. FrankCastle, 2005. Just really, it's.

(01:57:04):
It's definitely. It's Frankhere. This is what's funny. It's
Matt and Frank showing up ineach other's places of. Of residence.
Like, they got house keys.Like, Matt shows up earlier in a
couple episodes earlier. He'slike, hey, I was tracking you down,

(01:57:26):
or I knew where you were at.He's like, what are you doing here?
Like, you're mad at him, butyou. You respect him enough to call
him Red. You don't call himout by name.
But you could have somecoffee, though. He said all this.
Of all the things, why doesn't he.

(01:57:47):
Have coffee in his apartment? But for serious, that is a red flag.
Maybe he's a tea person.
You know, he did say what hedid say. All I got is tea. He says,
nah. He's like, hey, we'reabout to. We're about. He said, you
know. You said, you know weabout to have company, right? Yeah,
I Clocked him a while back. You still ain't got no coffee, though.
Though. Like, they hate eachother, but they don't hate each other.

(01:58:10):
They are seriously FelixUnger. Oscar Madison.
Yes.
Literally, you just. You cantell who's who. That's not like.
Like, I can't stand you. Butwe got work to do, and I tr. And
I trust that you're gonna havemy back. I'm not even worried about
it.
Hey, but Frank said, look, ifyou think I'm gonna play patty cake
with him, I'm not. Yeah. Ashe's got the knife and he.

(01:58:34):
Didn'T even debate him. He wasjust like, this guy, whatever. We
got work to do, you know, fine.
It. Let's go.
And it's New York. So nobodyquestioned the blind man walking
how many blocks in a. Ahospital gown, man, did he just fast.
Did he fast travel from thehospital to the apartment unscathed?
One thing New Yorkers aregonna do is mine.

(01:58:56):
Yeah. Business.
We will mind our business.
I'll never forget when. Whatwas it? It's the Everybody Hates
Chris episode when they do theblackout and the lights cut out and
everybody just loses their. Mydad wants my TV and just goes, yep,
it's like that. And just keepsgoing about his day. And so when
they show the riots, I'm like, all right, this is saying.

(01:59:19):
This ain't got no mind in myblack ass business.
Time to gain some discount electronics.
See, this is where. This iswhere Turk with thrive right now.
He says, shoot, blackout where?
That's who I need to comeback. I've been waiting for that
dude to show up.
Like, left when he. When thatstuff went down in Harlem. He said,

(01:59:41):
y'all worse than Hell'sKitchen. I'm not here. I'm gone.
Off the top of the building. He was like, I'm out.
Like, if Turk was to come backand become the man on the street
for the next season and be theway, like, everybody can get information,
I would be. I thought that wasTurk Loki locked up in the first
couple episodes, but then Irealized, oh, different person.

(02:00:02):
But that's the thing. Turk isthe man on the street. Like, he's
always been the man on the street.
Sandwich, bruh.
There we go.
Okay, don't do that again.Don't. Don't do that no more.
Yeah, yeah, Turk. Turk andClaire were like our two connecting

(02:00:23):
people for everybody.Defenders, things. I. I would like
one of those two to come back.
It'll be Turk.
Yeah.
In comics and comics. Turk, Iswear to God, every time Daredevil
needed information. Turk wasgetting tossed through a window by
him.
Yep.
He was his informant. And itwas always at Josie's. It was like

(02:00:43):
he. Josie's windows have seenbetter days.
That insurance policy has got.You live in New York. Your insurance
has got to be crazy. Crazy.
It is.
You mentioned called theinsurance adjustment. Yeah. How you
doing, guys?
Yeah. It happened again.
Insurance companies must behaving a field day in New York. That's

(02:01:06):
all I can say.
And even then, what do you dowhen. How do you explain bombing
a blind man's apartment? Like, because you could hear them say,
we found Daredevil. We didn'tfind Murdoch. So, like, his cover
is clear at least. But also,Frank, prank the drama queen, because
why did you shoot through thewindow and then walk through the
open door? Like, right after Ipeeped that on the second watch?

(02:01:26):
Like, you could have justwalked in and just did that. But
no, you had to break the glassand make it dramatic. Not walk through
the glass. You walked aroundthe broken window. It's like Billy
and man, when he opens thewindow and then jumps through the
glass anyway.
But this is what this. Thisshow has just managed to really stand

(02:01:48):
out in ways. I can't say itenough. I've never seen anybody lose
a groin to a knife. Hey,that's violent, fast. And here's
the thing. That wasn't eventhe killing blow. That wasn't even
the killing blow. He was justlike, no. Stab, stab, groin, rip.

(02:02:09):
Oh, wait, let me cut yourthroat first.
My whole thing is, you gonna. You see this man coming at you with
just a knife. You have a riotshield. This man flipped over your
riot shield as you're holdingit, and then proceeds to Swiss cheese
you as you are still holdingthe riot shield while your buddy
right next to you is keepinghim locked in as you are getting

(02:02:32):
stabbed to death. I would bepissed if I was the person getting
stabbed and someone iswatching my ass getting skewered.
I don't know why they thoughtthey could take that man on because
he knew exactly. He knowsexactly where to shoot. Pay attention
where he's shooting. He's notpoint blank. He's. He's shooting
shoulders, arms, neck, shooting down by the. Underneath

(02:02:53):
the vest.
Underneath the vest. I feltbad for old boy on the table. He
got the worst because you sawthat bullet trajectory.
I'm like, oh, yeah, that. Whatdid Matt say? He said, frank, no,
that's enough, Pop.
I'm like, I think you got himBetween. Between the.

(02:03:16):
The.
The stand up curb stomp, whichthrowing him like nose first into
the corner of a table so thateverything broke. And then all the
extra bullets. I'm just like,we're just wasting ammo at this point.
He's got it for waste.
Like exactly. He knows whathe's doing. Armory.
It's then the discussionafter. He's like, all right. He's

(02:03:39):
like, he's not worth it.
Bang.
What about him? Was he worthit at that point? If you're gonna
not kill.
Those scenes alone. Thosescenes alone, right?
If you want to bring that copback, that's fine. I wouldn't say

(02:03:59):
kill him. Make sure thestreets know he's done.
My theory about him is goneway out the window. No pun intended.
What if. I mean if he survivedthe grenade, I would say his let
him survive. But make sure thestreets know that he is the one who
killed Hector. Like letHector's people handle him. Like
at this point, if we'rebuilding an army and street justice

(02:04:20):
is not going to be a thing.Let it start with him getting got
by the people he pissed off.
Right?
Look.
Bam.
But Spider man was somewhereasleep during all this. Pete was
in bed, right?
Yeah. He's just like, that isnot my fight. No, that. That I'm.
That's probably the only hangup about that episode I had. Like
we said earlier was. Was Colinnorth being the. The fall guy? I

(02:04:43):
guess. Yeah. Of the wholething. And I'm just. And like you
said, far. I don't see howthey. How Frank put two and two together.
You know, y'all alreadyrunning around with his. With his
insignia on your chest.
The bullet case.
Yeah, but that's the thing.
Like how did you know it washis bullet casing? You know? How

(02:05:03):
do you know everybody didn'thave that?
Because Frank wouldn't be thatsloppy anyway. Frank wouldn't be
that sloppy.
No.
Frank.
Right. So it is just. I'mlike, ah. I was like the guy I really
wanted to get it ain't there.Like that damn Officer Powell.

(02:05:24):
And this one makes the. ThePunisher special. So interesting.
Either they're gonna get inthe Punisher special or they're gonna
get gotten daredevil. One ofthe two is bound to.
Happen because they alreadysaid that season two will be back
in March and then shortlyafter that will be that Punisher
special. And I'm just like,oh, this is gonna be glorious. Because

(02:05:47):
we see everything that's goingon. Because once again Frank is facing
off with a bunch of. Of theviolent of the anti vigilante task
force.
Right?
And he's really getting thehand. The upper hand on a lot of
them. He's putting them thewaste. To the point they're just
like, we gotta jump this dude, because he is. We. We were supposed

(02:06:10):
to have him cornered, and it'snot working.
I just love that Jason Bournemoment. Just like, it's like, oh,
it's really him. I was like,y'all. Y'all thought this dude was
a myth. He did smooth gowalking up to him. It's like, y'all
still gonna stand your groundknowing who this man is.
Wow.
It's the way they turned theminto a bunch of red shirts, and they're
like, hey, set your. Your gunson stun. It's like, yeah, no. Like,

(02:06:35):
has no one. Did no one catchthe dude he skewered outside, like,
Mortal Kombat style. Like, the. The. The episode turned into
a sin city for a second. Therewas no color except the blood.
You ain't lying.
Hitting him with all theselittle. Yeah, hit him with all these
little firecracker rounds thatweren't doing. I'm just like.
They shot him in the back withhis shotgun. I'm like, you think

(02:06:57):
that.
How you walking?
How you stand up?
He's got his armor legit.
Holy. That vest was whollyanointed twice.
He's like, all. It knocked himdown. It didn't do nothing else.
It was just not. It stung him.It didn't do much. It knocked him
over a little bit because hewas handling y'all. Oh, yeah.

(02:07:17):
You look aggravated. My bad.I'm sorry.
While you're bleeding out andcould be saved. And you see that
they're having a whole circleinitiation trying to get this man
to join the team.
Like, he's like, we look up to you.
You know, those people at yourjob are not your friends.
Remember that Intervention.
What are we doing? This isnot. I'm not having the come to Jesus

(02:07:38):
talk.
I thought he was about to,like. I thought he was about to,
like, Batman. These areactually, like, sharp. I don't know,
arm things and break out andjust Hulk out on everything.
I thought he was gonna. I waslike, if he in zip ties, it's a rap.
If I see him doing this atall. I know. All right. It's about
to be up for everybody here. But I think they're saving.

(02:08:01):
They wouldn't be preparedbecause they're not all they got
on their vest. If he was tobreak out of that. All they got on
her vest, they would not havewalked out of there.
Pretty much.
He was just like, becauseFrank don't need no gun or knife.
I mean, he's kind of a littlebit more merciful with a knife. But.

(02:08:23):
If he was to break out thatchair, that's all you need. Leg on
that chair broke. Okay, that's. Yeah, I guess you done. It's
a rat. It's. It's done. So,yeah, this. This. This episode was
like, extremely intense. Andpal trying to recruit him. I'm like,
are you really trying to. Areyou serious right now?

(02:08:46):
When I didn't want no members? What you mean? Come to you?
Right?
How does that work.
With you? With you. Y'alltrying to emulate me?
Getting that up and down, like, mess around.
And then you toss him in thecage with swordsmen and several other

(02:09:08):
people who of influence, whodidn't have enough influence, who
wouldn't join up with Kingpin.
And gave them all the reasonin the world.
Hi, Mark.
Internally. And he'sliterally. Oh, yeah, you from Jersey.
Yeah.
How did I know? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He talked him up. Yeah. I just
want to shake your hand.
Don't. Don't.

(02:09:28):
Don't do that.
Do you. Did you not read the manual?
That was that collect. Thatwas that collective. Oh, oh, you're
about to. You're about to die.
So the double chain cuffs fromthe top of the cage weren't a giveaway.
That he Fact that y'all letthem reach that far. Clearly. Clearly

(02:09:53):
you all.
He's the only one that gotchained up in the cave. Everybody
else just is trapped in thecage. This guy.
Between. Between Copying howthe Mers Escape Prison and Invincible
and the Head Squish. Look whatDisney needs to mimic a fraction
of our power.
This man said, I'm going tobreak your hand. And then I'm going
to pull your arm in and breakthat. And then I'm going to get those

(02:10:14):
TE's off of you.
Then when all said and done, how did Frank get out? Let's talk
to henchmen. That's missing arms.
I'm gonna break your arm again.
If he's alive to tell thetale, right?
Not a lot. He's going. He'sbetter not be alive.
Frank stomped that dude out. He's not alive.
Also fresh. Fresh face shave.Frank, what we and Karen got going

(02:10:38):
on over here.
Oh, I. I heard your twoheartbeats while y'all in the room.
He said.
Oh.
He said, fresh shave andaftershave that for me, Frank.
Wow.
You're gonna fight. You'regonna fight these boys with your
ass out.
Well, I love. I love Theirdynamic because it's just like you.
You have one willing to killand one trying his best not to, but

(02:11:04):
you're gonna be named at best.
I'm sorry, at that point, theno kill rules. Getting suspended
for a while.
You blew up my downtown apartment.
Like, you know how much thesethings cost.
You know what?
I got to explain my renovatedHell's Kitchen out an open layout
apartment. You're all the.Everybody. Everybody's putting in
on this.
I do cases pro bono. Do youknow what the strings I had to pull

(02:11:29):
for this? Oh, my God. Iprobably did a case for the landlord.
You think? I've got to get asecurity deposit. Not deposit back.
No. Right?
No, it's. No, this. Thisdefinitely is the show's 10 out of
10.
Oh, yeah.
Definitely a 10 out of 10 fromthe writing, the cinematography.

(02:11:51):
Just. There's even the scenewith. With Bullseye when he's already
out in hiding. There's eventhat shot where he's standing in
front of the. The window, thebroken window. It's like the Punisher
skull. Yeah, it's. It's just.Just. I'm like, yo, this is. Y'all

(02:12:11):
really did your thing. Yeah, you're right. It's. It's. It's the
perfect. It's definitelyperfect. They're the perfect.
Yeah, but still crazy, though. This is why. This is why season two
is going to be nice. Butagain, we don't need Finn Jones,
though. Iron Fist can staywhere Iron Frisk is. Staying clean.

(02:12:34):
That's all I'm saying.
I feel like they're gonna lethim back. I really.
There's on conditions. On conditions.
Martial Arts signed off on him.
They gonna get like, unconditional. Simulu is over here
right now. He's a martialartist. Get your butt over there,
train with him.

(02:12:54):
That's almost there. And saywho. Which Martial Arts signed off
on him before we go. We mightlet you back.
So I, I'm. I'm looking forwardto it. In the meantime, go back and
watch previous seasons. Goback, watch this season. You'll see
like, they didn't miss a beat. They did not miss a beat. I'm glad.

(02:13:15):
I'm glad they made themrewrite it. I'm so glad they made.
I don't know what we wouldhave gotten, but I'm glad they made
them rewrite it.
The suit that we've seenleaked for season two.
That's what he was wearing in Shadowland.
Yeah, that too. But alsothat's what he's wearing. And your
friend, the neighborhood ofSpider man, isn't it?
Yes. It was also black and red.

(02:13:36):
And that's him. Yeah, he'svoice. And he's also doing a voice
there.
So something about their voicedirection, I can. It don't. I know
it's the same actor, but it'slike, if y'all don't tell me, I wouldn't
know. Like, what if. I knowhad a lot of, like, covered production
problems, but every other showlately, it's like, I wouldn't know.
It's something about the wayy'all mix and master the cartoons.

(02:13:58):
It's like it's them, but it isn't.
Yeah, yeah, it's. It'sdefinitely them. People were having,
like, theories already runningrampant about, like, oh, he's got
the black suit on, so he'sprobably gonna get an army. He's
gonna get the hand. I don'tthink he that cool with the hand
like that.

(02:14:19):
He's not. He's not gonna be.He's not gonna go for the hand. But
again, you have. You havepeople that. That want to get even.
And let's not forget BB mighthave actually gotten that information
from the police commissioner. She's still wild card and all this.
Yeah. I hope she knows to laya little lower because. Because Gallo

(02:14:44):
getting. Getting dejawed. Yeah.
How do you say he resigned? You could have easily said, like,
hey, he was lost in thetragedy of the blackout, like you,
that.
That you should have said thatbecause this man is dead. You do
realize he's got a family.
He's got a family and a sidefamily looking for him.
All I gotta say, it's gonna bean interesting funeral.

(02:15:06):
Like, he resigned.
Definitely closed casket, close gasket. But who was another
people that look like Daddy. What you mean? We his real kids?
I got nothing else.
A whole nother dynamic.
Right.
But yeah, definitely, definitely a show to watch. It does

(02:15:27):
have you on the edge of theseat. I like this gritty noir vibe.
This. This is Marvel Knights. This is definitely Marvel Knights,
which I missed that. That runof comics. Marvel Knights, like,
it was all street level stuff, and it was good street level stuff.
So, yeah, I'm glad they're,you know, people to say, oh, we want

(02:15:50):
to see Daredevil with theAvengers. No, no, no, no, no, no,
no.
Not yet. Y'all ain't earned that.
Yeah, yeah, let's keep thesecats. Spider man is probably the
only one who can. Who cantravel between both worlds. Yeah,
he can do the street levelstuff. He can do the Avengers stuff
stuff, you know, he's probablythe only one who's balanced that

(02:16:11):
being and can get away withit, but we don't. We. We don't even
need him for that. Keep thisstrictly street level. Get the defenders
back in there. This street level.
It'll be interesting if. Next. Are you looking at Marvel News or
D or Star wars news? Yeah, yeah.
The celebration is.

(02:16:32):
We're getting. There's. Theinfo dump is coming out right now.
Yeah, but it would be.
I'm sorry, I don't. I don'tparticularly care about this particular
actor. I'm just shocked. Whyis Ryan Gosling in my Star Wars?
I was waiting for her to seethat. I was hoping. I was hoping
we'd run out. I was hoping wewould hit time before she caught
it. I was wrong.

(02:16:53):
Well, I mean, he's the actoror not the. The director that he's
standing.
He just can leave him alone.See, I haven't seen that movie, so
I haven't either. I just knowthe jokes. But, yeah, it'd be interesting
to see if we get Peter thefull ground level. Peter to where
even some of the cops, he'sgot to look out for now because he

(02:17:14):
can save the day, but somewill still try to put a bullet in
him without a second's notice.
Yeah, yeah. It's enough. Is. Ineed. I need Disney to pull Sony's
whole card.
Oh, my God. Especially if thecop is a Punisher unit and Mysterio
fanboy.
Yeah, I need them. I need themto pull that card and say, you know

(02:17:35):
what? You're the only chesspiece on the board.
I'm not. I've got aboutsomething else.
What?
If this is the way to bringback Jigsaw.
Or. Or. Or introduce Jigsaw.
Well, technically, he's notdead. From the Netflix series.

(02:17:56):
Oh, oh, wait. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
From the Netflix series. He'sstill around.
What?
What's wrong? Kira. What?
It's the Star wars stuff.
Sean Levy is directing themovie with Ryan Gosling, and it's
called Starfighter. Sean Levy is.
Who did.
That's when. That's who wasstanding next to him when he was
out there.
Yeah.
Wait, didn't they. Didn't he,like, put five in Jigsaw's chest?

(02:18:19):
You're annoyed he didn't kill him.
You were annoyed he did.
He did. He did shoot Jigsaw. He even made a, well, mess of his
face, but he didn't kill him.
Because when they have seasontwo of Punisher, he's like, oh, my
God. Frank is. You Dang, dang, dang, dang, dang. And that's like
the end of it. It was so anticlimactic.
Yeah.

(02:18:39):
I mean, it's Frank. Like,Frank ain't got time for pleasantries.
Right.
Yeah.
Here's the thing about it. Imean, you could bring jigsaw. You
could bring in barracuda. Youcould do. You could even actually
do Nikki Cabella. But I doubthe'll do. It's a whole nother story,
but I doubt they'll do that one.

(02:19:01):
People are looking for refugeand new drugs. I mean, Bushmaster's
still alive. You can make upfor killing off Cotton Mount so early.
There you go.
Damn.
That was. That was.
Yeah.
I think. I think they didn'trealize what they had because that
was still the early, earlyphases. I think they didn't know
that he was going to be sucha. Such a prominent character.
Yeah. So there's a lot. Yes.The last Star Wars Starfighter. I'm

(02:19:25):
sorry. I just now caught ittoo. I thought.
Yeah, we're like. We're doublewatching here.
Same thing with Kilgrave.Like, he not saying the show peaked,
but the episode they broughthim back.
Is like a memory because youdid the best. You took the best person
for Jessica Jones and youbasically made two seasons about
it and then you killed themall. David Tennant playing the purple

(02:19:46):
Man.
Or. Or did they.
That is true.
Because how Jessica Jones ended.
That is true.
Well, he's still like a mentalapparition, but those are the best
parts of the seasons afterthey kill him off. But I think that
was cool. I think bring. Idon't. He's definitely not coming
back. Jerry Hogarth,definitely. I'm surprised. Hasn't

(02:20:07):
made her return with all theright between her and she Hulk. I
feel like they would end upmaking a racket in the defense. Defense
market because Jerry's inrecruited with Val in the legal department.
But that's the whole thingwith Devil's Reign, though, because
they're double thug in thearmy and it does involve the defenders.
It does involve Spider Man.You do see Sam's Captain America

(02:20:33):
jump in it at some points. Sothe possibilities. And I said, this
is what's going to make seasontwo be. Be built up the same way
season one has been built upbecause now you're wondering who's
going to join the ranks andwill Marvel pull the trigger on Spider
Man. Will we see a Tom Hollandor. Or dare I say, will we see another
Spider Man? I'll. I'll eventhrow that. I'll even throw that

(02:20:55):
wrench in there. Will we get aSpider Man? But will we get the Andrew
Garfield or will we get thewhat's his face? I can't think of
his name. Save my life rightnow. Toper. Grace. Thank you. No,
that's over, Grace. Toby McGuire.
Thank you.
Toby Maguire. I mean, that'smy whole thing. Because here's the
thing. We would. We would loseour collective heads if you saw Spider.

(02:21:18):
If we saw our Spider man in adaredevil board again, season two,
you. We lose our minds becausewe keep on saying Spider man could
be introduced in any othervehicle. And yet they've kind of
avoided doing that other.
Other than what Fisk hasmentioned, as I said.
Right, right. But. But I know.I definitely know we're gonna get

(02:21:40):
White Tiger because old girl'sgonna don the medallion.
Yeah. I thought we were goingto get more of her, to be honest
with you.
Like when they brought her upat the end, I was like, right, we
kind of forgot about you oncethe whole muse thing wrapped up.
Yeah, I think muse is gonnacome back.
I don't know. Well, Matthew.Matthew Lillard has been picked up
for the second season. Wedon't know what role.
Right.

(02:22:00):
Then we saw the back of somany black teenagers heads. I was
like, yeah, is one of y'allmiles? Are we just being teased at
this.
Point, like, well, we'regetting ready to wrap this one up.
We look at the Star warscelebration Outlaws.
I'm looking at the merchbecause a white Vader, a white fortune.
How much?
Got work to do. I don't thinkwe need to sign off. Do we need to

(02:22:26):
sign off? No. Follow everybodyat the spot.
You know where to find Blurconupdates. I mean, Kira's got her genome
one day stuff coming outtomorrow. Please go check that out.
We covered the Kaboom game,Covered the main stage, covered the

(02:22:46):
interview. Yeah, that's Dosicenters. That is like I. I need a.
I need a group discussionasap. And it sucks that, like, I
can't. I have to wait. There'sso many.
Well, I'm gonna go see ittomorrow, so relax.
If any of you actually careabout his well being and Spider man
dropping on time. Keep ShamekMoore in the house. Cut his wi Fi

(02:23:08):
off. Watch Blu Rays. Keep thatman on blue. Only watch DVDs for
the next month. There's somein there you don't need to see. My
brother and I need this movieon time.
I say get that man a dog.
Get that dog a man dog.
Dogs like watching TV too. Andthen the wrong YouTube ad pops up.
It's game over for the entire productions.

(02:23:29):

I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
