Hi.

(04:13):
There we go.
You know, I can't never fixthe camera shot until somebody else
is online.
How's it going?
Going good.
Happy Tuesday.
I know that.
I know that voice.
It was that day for you, too.
Yeah.

(04:35):
See, a good captain alwaysknows his crew.
Oh, Lord.
What's going on now?
Hey, man, what's going on?
Hi, Christie.
Christie's in the house as well.
I'm waiting on.
I'm waiting on Bama.
He'll pop in here any.
Any moment now.

(04:56):
Tripped over the cat.
Oh, my.
Yeah, look, I've tripped overmy dog a couple times, so.
I know.
There he is.
There it is.
So, yeah, it.

(05:17):
It has.
It's been a week.
It's been.
It's been eight and a half months.
That's what it's been.
It's been an eight and a half months.
Help.
Oh, Lord.
But how was your day, Captain?
I don't think we ever askedyou how you.
You know what it was.

(05:38):
It was busy.
It's a busy day for me, like, since.
Since I had to make a movestill in the hospital, but since
I had to make a move to adifferent area where I'm not as secluded,
which I prefer, but.
Yeah, but.
But at the same time, for thepast couple weeks, they.

(06:00):
I haven't been bothered.
You know, as.
As my superior said, she'slike, oh, they're not gonna bother
you much.
And I said, oh, they might.
But turns out they reallydon't come and go do what I gotta
do.
I only got to answer to oneperson and.
And promises kept.
So far.
So far.
Yeah, so so far.
But other than.
Other than that, justphysically tired.

(06:24):
Running around tired.
Tis.
Tis.
Tis A thing.
Tis going round more so than to.
It feels like pretty soon wecan't just mind our business.
We have to do a littlesomething unfortunate.
Our queen of horrors in the building.

(06:44):
Kick my heart.
I think she's hope.
Look, I did.
I didn't get to cash catchyour stream, but since I'm already.
I'm already in the group chatand it was Silent Hill, and I'm like,
yeah, I don't need no parts of that.
Lady is.
No.
It's no joke.
It's.
It's no joke.

(07:05):
I got it.
I got a tip for you.
Pause.
Somebody said.
Somebody said.
Or I was watching somebodyelse's stream.
Do you know that when you do aperfect dodge, your stamina refills.
I didn't know that.
And the thing is, also whenyou do a perfect job.

(07:26):
I mean a perfect job.
I mean that too.
The time.
The time slows down.
But you don't either.
That's what's weird.
So the times that I have donea perfect dodge, I'm wailing and
I'm thinking I'm slowing down,but I'm not.
And it's.
And it's also by completeaccident when I do a perfect dodge.

(07:49):
Like, it's.
Yeah.
Practice.
Practice.
Practice is what it sounds like.
That's.
That's what it sounds like.
That's what it sounds like.
And it sounds like I need todo a lot more dodging because it's
not gonna get easier.
No.
Oh, honey.
Oh, honey.

(08:09):
I only watch a little bit morethan what where I am.
Like, I. I go back and watchstreamers up to the point that I'm
at.
Like, once I do it, then I goback and see if I missed anything
or whatever.
I actually went a little bit above.
I was like, oh, oh.
Yeah.
I'll be so scared.

(08:29):
Yeah.
And Chrissy is right.
Yeah.
You have to burn safe to watchSilent Hill.
Yeah.
It's kind of powerful.
It's.
It is really serious on theseSilent Hill streets.
Me and Silent Hill have had avery complicated history.

(08:50):
Well, listen, these last twogames are worth it.
I will say that.
And they're very scary indifferent ways.
I will say that as well.
Also, as.
As Mal is saying and as we'vebeen saying for the past two days.
Happy birthday.
Thank you.

(09:10):
It was great.
And she celebrated by scaringherself half to death.
No, Yesterday was more aboutMarvel zombies and the family eating
Cheesecake Factory.
It was wonderful.
That is.
That is.
We are.
We are definitely talkingabout that.
Thursday.
There's.

(09:30):
Yeah.
I have.
I have I have questions.
There's a lot of questions.
I'm like, there.
I'm like, I know this betternot be.
They can't.
And I hope that's also notgoing to be answered in another film.

(09:51):
Just do another season two ofthe Zombies.
Don't.
Don't.
Don't do it.
Another film.
Yeah.
Just.
Yeah.
All right.
Okay.
I tell you this much.
Without.
For those who haven't seen it or.
Or whatever, I'm not givingaway too many spoilers, but I will
say, let me get whooped again here.

(10:17):
Hey, hey, hey.
It's, like, jazzy around herein our very own Navy.
Montale's in the building.
Are you stuck?
Huh?
Wow.
I actually posed.
And then I'm saying, are you stuck?
This.
That's bad.
We've gotten to that point inour lives.

(10:38):
No, I. Yeah, we.
I.
Without giving away spoilersfor Marvel Zombies, because we're
talking about a Thursday.
I will say this.
Yelena.
Man, I'm a drink again.
I don't know.
Florence Pugh was putting out, like, emotion.

(11:04):
She can act.
That whole family.
That whole family did their voice.
Acting.
Yeah, they.
They.
They look this.
There's a scene, that scene inThunderbolts where she just breaks
down to Alexi as.
AKA her father.
Not her father, but.
But that whole line.

(11:26):
And then she busts out withthe but, Daddy, I'm so alone.
And I said, not now.
She's.
Yeah.
To find.
You're right.
She's.
She's been having a year.
Elena has been having a year.
Shout out.
Shout out to Florence Blue.
Because she.

(11:47):
That'll.
That Thunderbolt scene.
And then even looking at Alexias she's going through the breakdown,
and he's like, yeah, that'swhat a father would do.
He wouldn't know what to do.
He's just kind of stuck.
And he's like.
He's hearing the little girlthat he.
She's a grown woman.
But even he said it.
You're a grown woman.

(12:08):
I still see my little girl.
Still see my.
And the crazy thing is they'renot even related.
They spent, like, what I thinkthey spent with, like, five years
together during that mission.
I feel like it was more than that.
It.
It wasn't.
It wasn't because Elena wasvery young.

(12:30):
She.
Natasha was, like, close tobetween 10 and 13, and Yelena was
probably between 5 and 7.
I thought she was older than that.
Okay.
Yeah.
I deserved you.
Right?
I thought.
I thought she was older than that.
But.
Yeah.

(12:50):
And I'm just going.
I'm just based Off a kidheight, you know, so.
But yeah, she.
She carries.
She carries frequently.
Very much so.
Very much so, you know.
Another performance that I.I've seen lately was our very own
Geek by Heart as she wasplaying Silent Hill.

(13:12):
F y', all, if y' all did notcheck out her stream, let me tell
you, she had me doing thiswith my hands.
Every time she stops, like, okay, okay, okay, okay.
I'm just sitting there going, girl, you better.
It's.
It's an experience.
It's an experience.

(13:32):
And there's times I was doingthat because I was gripping the.
The.
The controller so hard, because there are times I'm, like,
shaking like, y' all.
Don'T see it, but I'm like.
Like this.
And I'm just like, okay, Ineed to calm down.
Sometimes I'll pause the exactsame think, but I'm also not only
thinking.
I'm.
I'm trying to have myself, like, chill out.

(13:54):
Nope.
Note.
Oh, God.
You so fast.
You so pass the school.
Because that's.
Without giving anything away,I want to say I. I. Lava is what

(14:17):
I've seen.
I've seen lava.
Okay, there we go.
Well, last.
So then, yes, I'm past the school.
Oh, my gosh.
It's not a big deal.
For you.
It's not.
I hope.
I hope things take a turn Iwill say.

(14:38):
Was downpour.
Downward.
That war wasn't scary, but itwas too much.
It wasn't.
It wasn't.
It was just too much.
It was like, you will run outof resources.
I think I replayed or tried toreplay that at least three times,
and every time I got stuck atthe same place because I just run
out of resources.
I, like, forget it.

(14:58):
I'm not just gonna do.
I'm not gonna do it.
Okay.
I wish you all the best inyour horror runs.
I'm not doing it.
I thought I would.
I will live vicariouslythrough you, because, yo, let me
tell you, the last time Iplayed with Resident Evil, was it
Resident Evil 3.

(15:19):
And I just.
Original.
Original, man.
Bump that remake mess.
Nah, you want.
You want to get that original?
Yeah, but thank you.
I mean, the remakes are notbad, especially the second one.
The second one.
Are we.
Are we comparing graphics?
Is that what we're comparing?
I'm not comparing graphics.

(15:39):
I'm talking about, like.
Yeah, then.
No, no, no.
I. I will stick with theoriginal because it's nostalgic.
Okay, Original for me.
The original for me was perfect.
Because if you're on a navyship and you're playing a game.
That's scary.
But they're watching you play, and they all jump at the same point
at the same time.

(16:01):
Priceless.
Absolutely priceless.
That is a problem.
That is a problem.
It's a problem.
You can't get rid of.
Jesus.
Recipes to Asada Shakur.
She died a free woman.

(16:25):
And surrounded by good food, hopefully, because.
Good Lord.
Cuba.
Yes.
I mean, I'm saying if, you know.
You'Ve ever had Cuban food.
Hey, man, you know, sometimes, you know, home ain't home.
Ain't always where you start.
That's all I'm saying.
Always where you start.

(16:45):
This part.
This part.
And yes, we.
She's being celebrated.
Yes.
Defense.
You've seen our lawyer show.
We have a great defense.
That is true.
That is very true.
Yeah.

(17:07):
As you know, we are in ourspooky season officially, and we
start talking about all thespooky stuff.
Oh, my God.
Fix your face, Kara.
I know why, like, life is lifeis life thing I don't need.

(17:28):
Look, I'm revisiting.
I'm revisiting the final girlsand the final guys, okay?
You know, because people seemto forget about Roger.
I don't know why.
If you've watched this showlong enough, you know who Roger is.

(17:49):
And Roger made sure his assgot out the house.
And.
And Betsy.
And Betsy just couldn't.
Couldn't make the cut.
The scary comics are comingout, too.
Scary comics are coming out.
I picked up the latest one today.
Oh, Event Horizon.
Event Horizon.

(18:09):
Dark Descent, issue one.
So I'm excited.
That is.
That is a 90s movie.
Wrap your head around that.
Is.
Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe.
Yes, ma'.
Am.

(18:29):
That pretty.
This waiting for October as well.
Oh, Blood Hunt is so.
Bloodhood is fun.
Bloodhound is fun.
That is dope.
I'm still catching up on someof my.
On my comics.
And I read a Amazing Spiderman number one, which is in this
particular chapter, waswritten by Kevin Smith.
What's that one?

(18:52):
I gotta.
You know what?
I have to order.
They chose violence.
They choose violence.
I just have to order.
They choose violence becauseI'm not gonna find it.
I'm not gonna find it around here.
I'm just not.
At all.
At all.
And of course, our.
Our resident comic creator hascreated the new one called Skin Breaker,

(19:13):
which I'm looking.
I'm looking forward tochecking out Robert Kirkman.
I don't think that man ismissed yet.
No, he hasn't.
Him and Jonathan Hickman,bullseye artists.
They do every time.
I'm like, oh, didn't Expectthat kind of story.
Let me sit back and.
And take this in.

(19:34):
Jonathan.
Jonathan Hickman's the reasonwhy I started buying Avengers.
Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes.
Death in the Family.
I knew.
Death in the Families.
Let me grab a book off the shelf.
Hold on one second.
First of all, Kira, the wayyou reached off and got books off

(19:58):
your shell show.
Very good, Very good.
The background.
The background has purpose.
See, yes.
Murder podcast is dope, though.
That is, if y' all want tocheck out an excellent comic.
That is incredible.
See, there go it goes to showyou that you don't always have to

(20:20):
reboot a horror franchise,which, unfortunately, they're doing
again with Friday the 13th.
Why let him.
Yeah, they're rebooting.
Or they're re.
They're rebooting.
They're putting it back out towatch in the theater.
They don't need.
Well, they.
They.
They're doing both.

(20:41):
They're they're probably doing both.
Supposed to be a TV seriesbased on Crystal Lake that is in,
like, foreign development, I believe.
And then what Chris said.
I don't need.
I don't need a reboot.
I. I really don't need a reboot.
Can we let it down?
Just watch 10 out off of mymemory, but I don't need a reboot.

(21:06):
Keep.
Keep going.
Facts, please.
Can we just let it die?
Just keep going.
I like, you tried with Freddy Krueger.
They put money in that.
They put money in that bank.
Yeah.
Yeah, they tried, and it.
For what it was.

(21:27):
It wasn't bad.
They're doing great with Evil Dead.
They're doing great.
What evil did like that last?
I was just like, jeez, everyone.
Not a.
No, not one person.
Not.
No one.

(21:48):
Yeah, there was the aunt andthe daughter.
The daughter.
They didn't make it out.
They was in the parking deck.
They was in the parking deck.
No, they made it out.
I'm gonna have to look at that again.
I could have swore they didn't made.
It out, but there was a randomgirl who didn't make it out who was

(22:08):
actually at the start of the film.
But you didn't know that.
That that was the end of the film.
At the start of the film.
Okay.
Okay.
Yeah.
Because that.
Well, I'm not gonna start the film.
I'll let y' all do that.
I'm.
I'm a chicken.
That's.
That's a rough.
That's a rough.
Even.
Even 2013 was bad.
Even.
Even Final Destination Bloodlines.

(22:32):
That was.
Was actually really good.
Okay.
Okay.
All right.
I did that Wait a minute.
I got another one for y' allto watch.
I can't remember what it'scalled, but it's with Jai Courtney,
and I'm not a fan of him, buthe did his thing in this one.
Oh, Boomerang.
Captain.
Captain Boomerang.
Yes.
But.
But what did he.
Was it Blood in the water?

(22:53):
Dangerous animals?
Watch that if you happen.
Okay, where's that on.
I feel like.
Is it on the high.
Is it on the high seas?
I feel like on somebody's streaming.
Oh, I know this movie.
Oh, yeah, it's.

(23:14):
It's really good, actually.
And I am not a Jai Courtneyfan, but it's really good.
Well, don't sell it on the Jai Courtney.
It's.
It's open wall.
It's basically open water,isn't it?
It kind of is.
Wait, he's.
He's like.
Okay, I think I've seen it.
Serial killer.
That's what I.
Okay.
I did see the trailer.

(23:36):
Oh.
And.
And that's why I say I have.
I have to give him creditbecause he actually carries that
film on his back, and it isreally good.
Okay.
I was going to.
I want to see if I can do this.

(23:58):
Yuck.
I'm not sure because I didn't.
I didn't get a chance to do itthe way I wanted to.
But we have a quick trailersfrom Star Wars.
There we go.
Let's see if this work.

(24:19):
See if it doesn't give me any problem.
Every.
Every other time I do it, itseems to be fine, but.
But I have to do it a littledifferent way.
This is Star Wars Vision,Volume 3.
3.
Because the first two volumesare so damn good.
Three volume trace.

(24:41):
Glitchy, isn't it?
Volume trace.

(25:02):
That.

(26:18):
I gotta tell you, the anime treatment.
They hit it always.
It always hits in a way thatyou just cannot.
They all stay away.
Star Wars Visions.
The entire run so far in their bag.

(26:38):
Because you're gettingdifferent looks.
This one just seeing like.
Like Navy said, seeing some ofthose anime looks, it takes you back
when you.
It takes you back watchingearly anime films.
Black Spartan.
Trey Mosley.
Trey Mosley's not on the show.

(26:59):
Of course he's.
What's happening?
What's happening?
Trey.
No, but.
But Star Wars Visions has a.
Hey, I love it.
Just tells you more that thereare people out there who really put
in fantastic work and theydon't get seen.

(27:20):
Sign up for blur station@blurstation.com.
right.
They do an amazing job.
These studios do great jobs.
The Star wars application formaking new Series grows ever so longer,
and so many studios need to goahead and do stories that aren't
Jedi or sick.

(27:45):
They are on one.
They're like right under here.
I swear to God.
Right.
So, Kira, do you need lawyers?
I'm sorry.
The calls coming, the callscome from inside the house, Kira.
I, I, I don't.
Criminal Empire.
What?
Yeah.

(28:07):
No, yeah, he says the Empireis coming.
Look, the umpire come for allof us.
That's the case, man.
Literally.
Y' all wait.
That's the case.
I, I'm waiting on the call.
I swear to God.
I'm waiting on the call from them.
Be like, hey, are you ready?
Hell yeah, I'm ready.

(28:28):
I got 40 years of knowledge.
I've been ready.
That's when you just sit thereand just go to the armory.
Yeah.
Wondering when this call wascoming through.
Y' all took long enough.
You're gonna look at me like, looking at me like Randy Quaid from
Independence Day, like I'mcrazy until you find out I wasn't

(28:48):
lying the entire time.
Well, he crazy now, so that's true.
And this is why.
And this is why blacksmithingwill always be a wonderful trade.
Yes, but no Star wars visions.
And we talked about it before,we stated it before, that you can

(29:10):
always tell a really good story.
It doesn't even have to be acontinuing story, but you can always
tell a really good storythat's self contained, that doesn't
really have to involve themain characters that we grew up to
know.
Pretty much as long as youhave the core.
And let me see, the entire warhas taken place over what, 40 years?

(29:36):
So in probably.
Yeah, more than likely morethan that.
And so you figure there arestories in betwixt all that time
because you figured Luke andLeia were about, what, 20.
That's, that's just where it was.
Yeah.
1920.
Yeah.
So 19.
So where that started.
We're not even counting the 19years price.

(29:59):
So you figured just slap a 20.
20 years on that one.
Or the pockets of resistancestories that you can tell, right?
The era, the, the real beginnings.
Although, don't be wrong.
Rogue One, still fun.
I am one with the.
I am one with the Force.
The Force is one with me.
I will always, I will alwaysrecite that.
But right.
There's pockets of stories inbetween the episodes that you can

(30:21):
tell.
You can even go back and tell.
If you really wanted to.
You could tell an Ewok story.
There's, I mean, betweenChewbacca, between.
You can tell certain stories.
Laney's face Is just like, no,no, no, Ewoks.
Please, please, can we get ajawa story?

(30:43):
Since we want to see themlittle go crazy.
I want to see the jawas.
Let's see the jawas.
That's what I want to see.
So I'm just saying.
So we're gonna take a quick break.
We're gonna come right back.
We have our guest in the building.
Gary Peebles.
Stuntman, stunt performer,martial artist.

(31:04):
Seems like an all right.
Great guy.
Great guy.
Yeah.
Trey with the big donation.
Black man, I gotta get to that.
Trey.
Yo.
He's blessing.
He's blessing us.
He's blessing this.

(31:25):
We go take a quick break.
We'll be right back.
Sam.

(32:08):
SA Blur view is a proudaffiliate of otaku Noir.

(32:38):
Use the code blur for 10 offon all items with a different nerd
themed box filled with itemsmade by talented blurds across the
country.
You surely will not be disappointed.
Go to attack on Attack on war,the number one blurred mystery box
company.
So before we bring our guestsin, we gotta get the crew in here

(32:58):
real quick, because I wantthem to see this if they haven't
already or if it.
Or better yet, for our otherpeople out there who haven't seen
it as well.
Our guest is a major factor ina lot of big productions, so you
might want to see some of thestuff he's worked on.

(33:25):
Sa it.

(34:43):
Gary Peebles, everybody.
I want to be like him when Igrow up.
I want to be like him when I.
Let me.
Let me give you my guy.

(35:11):
Impressive, Gary.
Thank you so much.
Yes, sir.
Between the.
You are 61 2, 6 5.
Yes, sir.
Marshall, I'm sure that atyour height and weight, they didn't
think you could even jump that high.
Let me tell you, it was a timetrying to convince people that that

(35:35):
was possible for sure.
Yeah.
He's like, well, hello.
Miss lady Mandalore over here.
She has not come down.
You notice there's that onefight between myself and another
performer, and it took.
And that's.
That was one that we did as,like, fight homework for a coordinator

(35:57):
who was doing a fightchoreography class.
And it took us doing thatfight for people to be like, oh,
he wasn't lying.
My goodness.
He's not playing around.
I want to talk.
Go ahead, Spartan.
Go ahead.
Oh, no.
I.
As a person that studiesmartial arts and watching another

(36:18):
person their craft, I need totrain more.
Jesus.
I'm not even going.
I'm like, you just inspired.
You just inspired me to justgo ahead and go try a little bit.
Harder right ahead Brother, go.
Ready?
So I, I guess the normal.

(36:38):
When did you get started?
And, and let's start with themartial arts part of it.
I was three.
Oh, you've been.
Oh.
No, the only right answer isin the womb, sir.
This man's first word was chakra.
Okay.
I was three.

(36:59):
Yep.
I saw, it was in 1986 in D.C.i saw a Chinese New Year's parade
and I told my dad I was like,I want to do that.
And he's like, no you don't.
I was like, yes, I do.
A lot of convincing, you know,a lot of unknown stuff by a three
year old.
And it just kind of went from there.

(37:19):
Started doing kung fu fromthen up until now.
Nice.
That is well beyondimpressive, I gotta say that one
because I, I, I, you shot me.
The two clips and I've had tokeep watching them because I'm like,
dude, I've seen him.
There's a lot.

(37:42):
Very impressive that you were 10.
So stunt work came in where stonework.
Came in after college.
So the, the, the, thechallenges of being larger has always
kind of been there.
Even with martial arts.
Martial arts, my teacher wassifu and kung fu.
They have to, he had to keepme there longer, train me harder,

(38:04):
train me longer in order forme to be able to compete with the
lung, with the younger or justcompete with the Chinese, Americans
or Chinese students that we had.
Because in his infinitewisdom, he knew that I was going
to get bigger and I was goingto get stronger, my body was going
to change when traditionally, you know, Asian Americans bodies,

(38:26):
you know, they don't, theydon't, they don't become this size
normally.
So, yeah, yeah, so he's justlike, I have to make sure that your
body can be able to do these things.
But only thing is, he didn'ttell me all that.
So I'm just thinking this manhates me.

(38:52):
I'm like, he, he hates me.
And so I'm spending my wholetime trying to win this man's heart,
win this man's approval, winthis man's favor, until of course
I get about 19 years old andhe tells me why.
And I'm like, bro, you couldhave just told me.
That's literally every martialmartial arts.

(39:15):
Literally could have just told me.
He was like, I couldn't.
He's like, I couldn't.
He said, because you know, ofhow I felt about you, if I would
have told you, you would havebargained with me.
And he said, you probablywould have won, you know, so without,
without that kind of, withoutthat Level of training or level of

(39:37):
forethought from him.
Would not be here.
Would not.
He did an excellent job.
Like I said, that was like, literally the background of every
martial arts film that we'vewatched, where it's just like, that
teacher is harder on that onestudent, and the student is just

(39:59):
like, why are you so wrong?
Because you got it in you.
All right, you can do it andthey can't.
But they're clearly doing itmore, much.
Better than me.
Lady.
Mandalore questions or stunned?
I don't know.

(40:20):
I think that you.
You should be more famous thanyou are.
That's my first thought offthe top of my head.
Do.
Do you have.
Oh, my God.
I really and truly.
So first of all, I think heworks with my friend Ricky Barksdale.
I' ma just say that out the gate.

(40:42):
Okay.
So cool, y'.
All.
I think y' all worked on theMike Tyson biopic together, I think.
Oh, yeah.
We also.
We also did Black Panthertogether, too.
I know people sometimes.
How.
How has it been in, I guess, this atmosphere being a black stuntman?

(41:09):
Do you.
I don't know what to ask you, bro.
Like, you're just spectacularor nothing.
I'm.
I'm stuck.
Like, I think.
I think that you are somebodythat needs to be able to speak out
loud about your experiencewithin Hollywood as a black actor,
stunt performer or not.

(41:30):
Y' all have to act.
You're still using your bodyin order to portray a story, and
more so than some of these actors.
Can you, like, talk about your.
Can you talk about your journey?
Can you maybe even talk abouthow you feel about the Academy finally
recognizing y' all for yourwork as well?

(41:51):
We have been.
We have been going off aboutthat for years.
Years.
Look way.
And that's been way before Ieven got into stunts.
So that's been a thing thatwe've been fighting for for a long
time.
And it's finally going tohappen, which I can definitely, definitely
appreciate.
And, And.
And just to think that you arean Academy Award winning stunt performer,

(42:11):
like, just saying those wordstogether is just like, wait, what
did we.
We finally get one of themthings, you know?
But as far as, like, theexperience of being a stunt performer,
a larger stunt performer and ablack stunt performer is.
They kind of go hand in hand.
Because just like anythingelse with being black in general,

(42:35):
you are responsible forstrangers because they are the same
color as you.
Just like, the same way.
I am responsible for whatanother black performer does because
regardless of what if.
Even if he did it or she didit, and I had no idea about it, that

(42:55):
is how we are all going to be viewed.
And unfortunately, we.
We don't have the.
The gift or the privilege ofindividuality where that person can
separate themselves from thegroup, even if we're working on projects
that are, however far apart.
And we've never met each other.

(43:17):
So that's always one thing tobe completely cognizant about, is
that, yes, I'm performing forme, yes, I am trying to make an impact
on the industry and impact onmy life and leave a legacy.
But I also have to think aboutthe performers that are around me
in my purview, but the otherblack performers that I haven't met,
and for the other ones thatcome behind me, and especially the

(43:39):
other larger performers thatare going to come behind me, because,
of course, I won't be able todo this forever, and I'm not going
to be the only one like me.
I would be a fool to think that.
I would love for somebody tocome along and do better with the
same kind of attributes that I have.
And, you know, they could belike Jerry walk so I could run like.

(44:11):
Go ahead.
Maybe.
You got a question?
Maybe.
Oh.
First of all, my brother, thank you for watching.
Thank you.
What you do.
Because as that older cat whohas seen movies, and I've always
said, I want to see us doingthe stunts, I want to see us getting
the recognition, see usgetting the acclaim and the respect
that's due.
So as an older gentleman toyour young generation, bravo to you,

(44:35):
sir.
Bravo.
Thank you so much.
See, See?
He and I can buy we.
So out of all the projectsthat you've done, has there been
one that's been the most significant?
I mean, that is one that'sbeen a motivator, or maybe one that
has just stuck with you themost in your entire career thus far?

(44:56):
I would say, and this isprobably, you know, very obvious,
I would say that Infinity Warhad the most impact.
You had your time.
It's my time.
Okay.
Okay.
It's my time.
Me and my red shirt.
I asked him.

(45:17):
But, yeah, Infinity War evenmore so.
And I just feel like I'm justdropping names at this point, but
Guardians drop names away.
Guardians 3, you know, was.
Was.
Was Guardians 3.
And.
And that.
That was, I would say, commanded the most of me physically,

(45:40):
but Infinity War commanded themost of me mentally and emotionally.
So I would say that being ordoing Infinity War at least, or the
very least prepared me forwhat Guardians three required.
And I say that becauseeverybody's like, oh, Man, Drax was.

(46:04):
Gary was DRAX.
And Guardians 3, Gary or inInfinity War.
And I'm like, you have no idea.
Because I was not initiallysupposed to be Drax and Infinity
War.
It took me 10 months oftraining and mental fortitude to
get to Infinity War.
We started pre vis, which iscalled pre visualization.

(46:27):
We have to build all thestunts and fights around.
Everything that required wasrequired in Infinity War.
And they had two doubles, andDave has his own double, who was
Rob.
And Rob did Guardians 1 and 2.
And so because the.
The grand scale of InfinityWar and in game, they needed everybody

(46:48):
to have two doubles.
And then they realized howmuch that was going to cost.
In three weeks in the previs, they cut the second doubles, and
I was the second double.
And I was like, my life is over.
I remember the email, youknow, I remember the email that I

(47:09):
got for.
For Infinity War.
And they were like, hey, youlook like one of our superheroes.
We'd like you to, you know, consider those, you know, and for,
I mean, for like, two, three seconds.
And I would mean, like, youknow, for a while, I was like, somebody.

(47:31):
Somebody's trolling me.
Somebody's trolling me really hard.
But, you know, so the stuntcoordinator, who just happened to
be one of the freaking doublesfor Captain America was like, hey,
man, you know, this is what it is.
You know, if we need you,we'll call you.
And I'm like, okay.
So I went home, and I waslike, I'm not gonna jump off a building.

(47:52):
I'm gonna be fine.
But it.
But it.
But.
So I did other projects in between.
We went back and we did.
We.
We.
You know, later on, theyrequired a lot of.
We had to do all the Wakandascenes with the outriders and all
the Avengers and Black Panther and.
And.
And.
And Black Widow and everything.

(48:13):
Like.
And I did that.
But in between that, I didPitch Perfect 3.
But I was still very, veryfocused on being Drax.
And I talked to one of the assistant.
Assistant coordinators thathad come to my house at the time,
and he was like.
And I asked him, I said, hey,man, I know there's another scene
where Drax is going to befilming in October.
I said, what are the chancesof me being able to do that?

(48:37):
And he said, I'm not gonnabullshit you, man.
It's probably like, a 5% chance.
And what I heard was 5, not 0.
So for that, I took that andran with it.
I mean, like, I immersedmyself into everything that I could.
I listened to the Guardiansone Score.
I looked at as much drag stuffas I possibly could.

(49:00):
I watched the cartoons, Ilooked at the video games, anything
that I could.
I got more comic books, whatever it was that I could just,
you know, would manifest or,or put myself in them.
I know the Ballad of the NovaCorps, note for note.
So come around September 2017,I get a phone call from the stud

(49:22):
assistant.
He's like, hey, man, are youavailable this day?
And I said, yes.
Yeah.
And.
And, you know, and then theysaid, okay.
And so he doesn't want to tellme because he knows how excited I
go again, he doesn't want todisappoint me because.
But they changed the dates.
And so the dates change, andit actually ends up being three days
instead of one.
And he was like, okay, so areyou available these days?

(49:47):
I'm like, yeah.
And I know.
And I asked him, I said, Iknow the dates changed, but are they
going to use me or are theygoing to use Rob for these three
days?
And he's like, I don't know.
That's what I'm trying to find out.
And then I just got a text message.
Excuse me.
I just get a text message.
Hey, man, be here at 5:30 inthe morning.
I got there at 3:30 beforethey set up base camp.

(50:08):
One, because I was excited.
Two, because I knew I got tobe responsible for everybody that
is a person of color.
Because at this point,they're, they're, they're taking
a huge chance and risk on mebecause at this point, I'm still
fairly new.

(50:28):
I've only been in the industryprofessionally now for two years,
and I'm already getting readyto do this grand scale movie.
And so I get there, they'relike, get into your shorts, no shirt.
And I'm like, okay, fivemakeup artists.
And they just come start.
They, it's like they'reattacking me with makeup and prosthetics

(50:49):
and they're putting the painton me.
They're.
They're airbrushing me andputting the stuff on, and they're
taking the, what they call the transfers.
And that's what's, the redstuff on Drax's skin.
And they're just wetting itand putting it on me and everything
and putting it on my chest.
I look back and I am now asuperhero kid from dc.
Statistically not supposed tobe there.

(51:11):
Statistically supposed to bedead or in jail.
I am a superhero at this point.
I had to lean my head over mychair so I didn't get tears on my
makeup.
Let's Go, man.
Dre Mosley is in the audience.
He has a question.
He says, I want to know whatwas the one job that, after all was
said and done, you said toyourself, I did that, and what would

(51:34):
it be?
The action franchise you'dwant to be a part of now.
That is.
Please, can we put him in theBlade movie?
I'd like to see him.
I would love to, man.
I would love to do it all.
I would absolutely love to doit all.
But I will say that with thatquestion, it was during that day,

(51:56):
I still didn't have the job as Drax.
And that's going to answer hisquestion, because I had to go there
and do a screen test for theproducers and the directors.
So it wasn't like they did allthat makeup and they were like, no,
no, no, you got to do a screen test.
We got to make sure that youcan do the job.
So I, I was in.
And at that point, like Isaid, I'd been training for 10 months

(52:19):
and I was.
I was.
I was offended a little bit because.
But they didn't know that I just.
What I'd just gone through forthat long to get to that point.
And so I was just like, I amgoing to blow their mind.
So I walked up there, the mostuncoordinated as I possibly could,
the least heroic lookingperson ever.

(52:40):
And this, this props master,he has the Drax knives in his hands.
And I'm just standing therelistening to the ad.
He's going to tell me what hewants me to do, to perform, to again,
audition for this job.
Prop master takes the knives, and the Drax boots have holsters
for the knives.
He slides them in my boots andhe goes, you're ready.

(53:03):
And that was the mostManchurian Candidate move that anybody
could have ever made.
And he had no idea.
And he's, he's, he's.
And I don't want to call himjust a props guy because he's an
excellent props guy and I love him.
And I told him about that onGuardians 3.
I was like, you have no ideahow pivotal you were for me being
here right now for what yousaid to me.

(53:24):
However many years ago in2017, when we were doing this, he
was like, I did.
I was like, yeah, you did.
Like, you have no idea.
He was so ecstatic.
He went home and told his wife.
But that moment right therewas the one where I was like, I did
that shit.
Because I did this whole thingwhere he was like, now take the knives
out.
Started taking.
They're Just giving me allthese directions.
And the camera is hanging froma bungee inside this very large studio

(53:46):
in what you guys would know asthe Q ship.
And that's where Drax, Mantisand Quill meet Dr.
Strange, Iron man and Spider Man.
And they think that Thanos isin there.
So that's that scene where Iget beat up by the cloak of levitation.
So.
But that's that scene that Iwas auditioning for right there.
And, you know, I'm doing allthis stuff and I.

(54:07):
And I.
And I think throw the knife upin the air and I jump, spin and catch
it, right?
A camera lens.
And I go from camera right, corner of camera right to camera
left, and the camera kind ofgoes back like this.
And Ed, one of the ads, andhe's like, okay, we'll see you tomorrow.
And I'm like, yes, you will.
And I.

(54:29):
Nice, nice.
So that was my.
I did that shit moment for sure.
I like how you stated that yougot there early because you were.
You wanted to be responsiblefor the other performers who come
there.
So basically you became aguardian of the Guardians.

(54:51):
Yeah, yeah.
Put that on the shirt.
I'm telling you, there'shistory right there, man.
I do this a lot.
I'm sorry.
I do this.
No, I didn't know.
I appreciate it.
But, yeah, it's.
It's.
It's one of those things.
I was like, I am being giventhis amazing opportunity because
I don't know another personother than Dave, who's from dc, who

(55:16):
looks like me, that is.
Who.
Who has been afforded thatopportunity to be able to do something
like that.
That part, like, I'm like.
I'm literally born inSoutheast D.C. in the D.C. hospital,
District of Columbia Hospitalfor women that no longer exist.
So by definition of that time,I'm statistically supposed to be

(55:41):
deceased or in jail, yet Ihave this thing where I can say I
was a superhero in a Marvel movie.
Like, that's.
That.
That is something that I take.
That's a hang.
That's a hang your hat onmoment right there before.
Before I get to Spartan andWhoopi and Geek by heart.
You are.
And I'm glad to discuss.

(56:01):
I'm glad the questions wereasked about being a black stunt performer
and.
And how you had to protect andguard other black stunt before.
Like, you were.
You had that responsibility.
You are part of a niceconglomerate of stunt POCs that are
now with Blurred Station.

(56:21):
Yes, folks, you heard that, right.
Let's go.
Yeah, let's go.
Talk about.
We literally have Action.
Yes.
So let's talk about this.
The Stunt POC crew, what thatlooks like in.
In joining up with Blur Station.
Okay?
So if you.
If we've all experienced thisat some point, being blurred, and

(56:46):
I would say with the peoplethat we have here, I would go ahead
and say we are probably the OG Blurs.
Blurreds before Blurds was cool.
Facts.
You know, I would say beforeBlurs was cool.
You know, Dial up Goku.

(57:07):
So it's.
It's.
It's.
It's linking that with howbeing a nerd or a blurred has literally
transcended into being a stuntman.
Because being a superhero, there's something I call the cheese.
There has.
So if you.
I'll give you a perfect example.

(57:28):
You know how you have PowerRangers, their helmets don't talk,
so they have to talk like thisall the time.
Right?
But if they're having aconversation, they don't do that.
It doesn't look right.
That's what I call the cheese.
Okay.
So being a blurred or being ageek has helped me emote these particular

(57:53):
heroes or these people thatrequire that kind of emotion.
Because I have this plethoraof categorized cartoons, whatever,
from old school optimists tothe Centurions to bravestar to Thunderclap.

(58:14):
All.
Of those things, this.
This catalog to pull from.
And so when we.
When they were approached withus, and I'm just like, this is the
thing.
So we're bringing a.
A normalcy to being a geek, being a blurred, and also letting
these people know that youhave an opportunity to use that to

(58:39):
become the.
The very thing that you idolize.
Because that's how I see it.
That's what's up.
Exactly.
See, now folks out there don'tunderstand, like, yeah, we weren't
just pulling everybody's leg.
Like, we are back here workingbehind the scenes.
We're over at Blurred Station.
We are bringing something, some.

(58:59):
Some amazing anime and liveaction projects and maga.
You have no clue.
Like, we are not playing Black Spartan.
Who.
Who.
Let's.
Before.
Before I.
Before you go.
Here we go.
He has been.
He's been put.
He's been put into like fifthgear because of you.

(59:21):
He just got went into fifth.
Luffy.
Fifth gear because of that.
Because of that clip.
Go ahead.
I knew that was coming.
I told myself I had to go.
Back to the drawing board.
Everyone, my questions got obliterated.
So I will say this.
I. I'll join Navy and sayingthis, definitely thank you for your

(59:42):
service.
As far as being a stunt court, being a Stuntman, a martial artist.
Again, having such a, suchhaving a high standard for yourself
and really setting the bar forothers, especially for people of
color in that world that not alot of people, people know about.
It's.
It's almost like, it's almostlike professional wrestling.
You, you know, for, for blackwrestlers and for black stuntmen,

(01:00:06):
it's the same code.
You gotta look out foryourselves and each other and hold
each other to a higher standard.
So again, I'm joining Navy onthat and saying thank you.
Thank you, really.
Also thank you for that fight reel.
Because my God, you wait tillyou see the second my weapons back
there.
And I'm like.
His face got bigger as the real.
I was like, I mean, his facewas disappearing.

(01:00:29):
That's all you thought.
I'm, I am for.
I'm a bit of a fitness nut.
So when I actually seeespecially black martial artists
or black or those in that orin the craft that they really show
off, it's kind of like, oh, sh.
I gotta do more.
You try to make me look lazy.
Is what I'm getting at.
But anyway, question.
So because everyone, Myquestion got thrown out the window,

(01:00:51):
I will say this.
Let's, let's do fantasybooking because you've played, you've
played doubles for superheroes.
Is there.
And I, I gotta ask, because weall got one.
Whether it's dc, whether it'sMarvel or independent fandom, if
tomorrow your phone, iftomorrow your phone rung and it was
the role you've always wantedto play.
As, as being the person, what would.

(01:01:14):
Actually be that characterthat you would.
That would be, you know, you're Mount.
Rushmore, your dream role.
What would it be?
You know, I don't, I don'tknow per se.
And I, and I'll, and I'll, andI'll elaborate on that and I'll just
say that I trained again forsomething like that and how, how
important it was for BlackAdam to do the flying and Black did

(01:01:39):
the motion capture flying forBlack Adam.
And there wasn't any wires oranything like that available for
me to fly or anything like that.
So I did a bunch of research.
I watched every movie withevery type of flying, shoulder, flying,
fist, flying, how you rise andhow you body position.
I watched the behind the scenes.

(01:02:00):
I watched Terry Notary trainBrandon Ruth on Superman Returns.
Now, he trained him in the water.
So I went and got a wetsuit, got some booties and, and, and jumped
in the water and did, youknow, spinning and aileron rolls.
Like, I jumped into the water.
Like I would be landing fromflight and all that other stuff.
So anything.
And so you notice in.

(01:02:20):
In all of the movies that wewatch, the person that can fly of
their own volition without anykind of jet propulsion or any kind
of suit or anything like that, are always Caucasian people.
Anybody who can fly that'sblack has to do so with some type

(01:02:41):
of tech or outside help.
What I think is important forus, and what would be definitely
important for me, is for us tosee ourselves rise in that way of
our own volition.
So whatever kind of flyerthat's black, I would love to do

(01:03:02):
that.
Okay, gotcha.
I'm sorry, excuse me.
Before I get to Whoopi andGeek by Heart, I do want to share
another clip or another.
Another one of your.
It's a fight real.

(01:03:23):
It's fight real.
This is what it is.
We check this one out.

(01:04:35):
Incredible.
I would call that real.
You owe me money.

(01:04:56):
For the record, that hangerscene, Guardians 3 is still for me
one of the best fight scenes.
Oh, yeah, man.
And that's why I say Guardians3 commanded the most of me physically.
Because it was that.
That everybody says it's the Oner.
It's stitched very well.

(01:05:17):
It is not a Warner.
Mal says Gary will be perfectfor Icon.
I can see it.
Whoever said that, make it happen.
I will do it.
Bronze.
Bronze Tiger.
Bronze Tiger.
I can see.
I mean, when I saw thatbecause I saw your build, I was like,

(01:05:39):
oh, that's ninth Rasher.
Just.
I've only seen one otherperson play Bronze Tiger.
Yeah.
Michael Jai White.
He's the only other personI've seen.
Yeah.
My vote for hardware.
I would love to see him.
Let's go.
You got a milestone crew right here.
Come on.

(01:05:59):
So geek by heart and littlegeek by heart.
She's like, I want to be inthis too, Mom.
She did because she was aroundwhen you said that you started by
three, when you said youstarted when you were three.
And she instantly said, that'sgonna be me one day.

(01:06:21):
That's my 10 year old daughter.
Okay.
So when I tell you that do isimportant, it is important because
like just off the heaven sends.
Are you doing what you'redoing and you saying what you saying?
My daughter's right here.
She's listening.
She's listening and watching.
So I just want to tell youthank you as a parent about what

(01:06:43):
you do and.
Yeah, because like I have tocry now, right?
No fighting back to myselfbecause like I said, when she said
that to me, it just was likeyo, you just never know the impact
that you have.
You know what I mean?
Because, like, for me, I. Iused to.

(01:07:06):
I. I'm not.
It's not like, we're not coolor nothing like that.
We just, you know, haven't,you know, talked since I graduated.
But you might have known oneof the stunt.
Stunt woman of the door, Milaje.
Janelle Stevens.
Yes.
I used to go to high schoolwith her.
Okay.
Since seeing her in Infinity War.

(01:07:26):
Like, we had similar backgrounds.
We went to Basket.
We used to play basketball andthings of that nature.
I used to play in D2.
Okay.
For a second.
But, like, she thrived.
And I always was like, yo, howdid it come from, like, the same
background?
But you did this, and you're amazing.
Excuse my language.

(01:07:47):
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
So, like, I. I think mine isjust more of comments more than it
is at questions.
Because I can show you my questions.
That almost everybody asks.
It's called synergy.
I can't help it.
It's called synergy.
We all think, like, okay, it started.

(01:08:10):
With this one because I was just.
Like, yo, how is it, like, tobe a person of color in this industry,
being that you don't see that often?
And I felt like, to me,Infinity War broke the glass ceiling.
That's when I saw a wholebunch of POC stunt people that I've
never seen in one place.
So when you start talkingabout that, that got me very, very

(01:08:33):
emotional in.
In my head.
So, like, I just.
I just want to say thank youto that.
And, you know, I think theother question I was gonna have,
but I think you guys mighthave been talking about either comic
book characters.
So if it wasn't comic bookcharacters, what video game character
would you want to do?
But if that's what y' all wastalking about, I don't know if the.
With the tiger people, if thatwas comic characters.

(01:08:57):
Yeah.
If it wasn't what video gamecharacters you do, and if it was,
I'm sorry, I ain't got no questions.
I apologize.
I have been.
I have been.
So.
So some nostalgia for.
For.
For.
For the Brethren is I got tomeet and work with one of the OGs

(01:09:19):
from Big Trouble in Little China.
And James Luke.
Oh, wow.
Cage.
And so James Lou wasauditioning for fight choreographer
for another realm studios.
NetherRealm Studios does allthe Mortal Kombat games.

(01:09:41):
And so what I didn't knowwhile we were out there was that
they were looking at me very closely.
And then they called me andthey were like, hey, we want you
to do one of the charactersthat we have.
And I was like, huh?
He was like, yeah, you, you,you move exactly how to do who it
is that we need.
And I was like, okay.
And then I saw the guy and I'mlike, it looks just like me.

(01:10:02):
So I was, I had, was affordedthe opportunity to be Garrus or Mortal
Kombat 1.
Nice.
The, the chat is on fire out here.
They are losing their minds.
And I'm just gonna go aheadand say whoever knows Garrus and
plays with Garrison?
I'm not gonna say that becausea 10 year old baby.
Y' all stop doing that veryspecific combo.

(01:10:29):
I had to do those moves andevery last one of them, I had to
do it one by one by one.
And so seeing how all of thosethings have been together, y' all
need.
It has a certain name that I'mnot gonna say.
Look, I saw that.

(01:10:49):
I was like, no.
Oh my God.
Wolfie, what do you got?
My question is, you said youlocked in on the martial arts from
3 years old and you locked inon wanting to be Drax.
I'm sure it happens to everybody.

(01:11:10):
Everybody steps off that path occasionally.
What do you do to get you.
Back to that focus?
The so, and this is differentfor everyone.
But there was, it's the, it's.
How do I put this withoutsounding really, really cheesy or

(01:11:31):
corny?
I get up and I go to the gymevery morning at about between 4:30
and 5:00'.
Clock.
And that is a must for me,regardless of what it is that I do.
I could have a, you know, ahalf donkey workout, you know what
I mean?
And I, but, but the thing isthat I, that that part of the day

(01:11:55):
I still work one.
That part of the day I still beat.
So in this, the angel thing, when motivation dies, discipline
must take its place.
And one thing that I wastalking about at least with myself
earlier today, is that painand rage are a wonderful motivator,

(01:12:16):
but it cannot be easilysustained because NOS works really
well for a quarter mile.
But it's not going to work fora road trip because one day you're
going to wake up and you'renot going to feel that pain anymore.
One day you're going to wakeup, you're not going to feel that
anger anymore.
And then when you do, whatelse do you have?
What's going to keep you going?
What's your why after that?

(01:12:36):
So it's not a, it's not a longterm thing to be so.
To Be angry about somethingand let that be the motivator.
It's not too, so, so thediscipline has to outlast the right
now.
And so when I get off trackbecause all of us do at something,
it's that, that, that is myanchor is the training.

(01:12:56):
Because I know that at somepoint I'm not going to be able to
do the things that I could do.
I've been so, and I'm nottrying to say anything about anybody.
And so I'm, I'm 42 years old now.
I've never had an ounce of alcohol.
I've never had any kind of drugs.
I've never even had weed.
I'm a huge proponent of weeds.
If you're doing weed, please continue.

(01:13:18):
I've never had it before, so.
And that's part of the martialarts trainings because my teacher
was like, you never know whenwhat it is that I've taught you is
going to be used or calledupon in the service of others.
So that's why I'm alwaysprepared to do what it is that I
need to do.
And that's why I've never hadany of those things.
So that is the base for me.
Is that the discipline?

(01:13:40):
Is that the anchor when, whenI feel like I don't have anything
else?
It's that code.
And the code for me, myteacher said there's, there's, there's,
there's no recreational drugs, there's no drinking, there's no gambling,
there's no hitting women inanger, there's no hitting your opponent
in the back, there's nohitting your opponent while they're
down, and no theft.

(01:14:03):
And so those are, those arethe things that have made everything
else fall in line when nothingelse makes sense.
I'm always able to revert backto that.
I hope that answered your question.
So for the people that arewatching right now live and will

(01:14:25):
be listening, listening to theshow back tomorrow morning, I hope
that the tagline of entertain, educate and encourage, locked in
with everybody.
Because that's what thisbrother just gave us.
I, I gotta ask you, I'msurprised I haven't heard it yet.
Being exposed to martial artsat 3. Who are the martial artists

(01:14:49):
that you look up to?
Oh, but I mean, this isprobably gonna be super, super simple,
but I, I, okay, well, I mean,of course I am a huge, huge fan of
Donnie Yen.
Yes, I love Donnie and I loveWu Jing, and I loved, I love Donnie

(01:15:11):
Yen.
Because here in the States, nobody, or at least mainstream nobody
gives that man his due.
And it took him a long timefor somebody to take that man seriously.
It took I, I.
And it took somebody a long, long time to give that man his due.

(01:15:32):
And he finally got it.
And what I would think wasprobably John Wick, it gave him a
little bit in Triple X. Yeah, yeah.
But that man should have hadmore to do in Blade two for sure.
God, yes.
Yep.

(01:15:54):
Yes.
I love Wu Jing or, or, or moremore properly known, Jackie Woo.
I watched a lot of Jackie Chanmovies, but only because, you know,
the, the, the stunts in JackieChan movies were, were just different.
They were extremely creative, and he was extremely defensive versus

(01:16:19):
offensive, unless, you know, his character called for that.
And like I said, so, so forme, I know the, the pivotal thing.
We learned a little bit ofthis in Kung Fu, but Dragon Tiger
Gate was big and pivotal forme because of the differences in
styles.
You know, the 18 dragonslaying palms is, is almost like

(01:16:40):
a real thing.
They call it something else.
And then, you know, thevillain, the Black Pagoda, and I
stole a lot of that from theBlack Pagoda because of how he just
turned his hard style intosoft style when he needed to.
It was like he could beeverything except for all three of
them at once.
And it was just, you know, itwas, it was just a, A beautiful thing.

(01:17:03):
Also, I would say that a lotof my influence from when I was a
kid.
Blow your mind again.
Some guyver2 dark hero.
Yes.
Let's go see.
Bringing back nothing but the memories.
Okay.

(01:17:24):
Guy for two dark hero, probably.
I watched that when I wasabout 10 years old, and it was just
how, how that he, it was the duty.
He had a duty, and it was a purpose.
And that suit, you know, that, that, that suit and I had an opportunity

(01:17:44):
to, to like, you know, tellSteve Wang this on Instagram.
I was like, you have no ideawhat that movie did to me as a child.
Still does to me as an adult.
You know, that's why everybodycalls, you know, when they see the
Guyver kick they see ScottAtkins do.
It was like, oh, it's the Yuri Booker.
I was like, I will slap.

(01:18:06):
I was like, that is MacGyverkick, and it will always look better
with a jump spinning hookversus jump spinning crescent.
I don't care what nobody say.
I'm glad you mentioned DonnieYen, because even Trey Mosley mentioned
it in the, in the, in the, inthe car, in the chat.
He said it, man.

(01:18:26):
I'm like, yeah, Master Hitman.
And, and my wife said, helooks familiar.
And I said, he was in Blade too.
And when she sees how fasthe's moving, I said, and that is
why.
That part I would Donnie andjust is his.

(01:18:47):
His poise for things.
And I.
And I took a lot of hisrunning style from the Return of
Chinsen.
There's this scene where he'srunning and sprinting through rain
and water and just.
Just does this parkour Kongoff of a car.

(01:19:09):
And I'm like.
Huh.
So when I.
When I had to do that scenewhere you saw in the previz on the
running, I'm running likeDonnie Yen toward the guy who's doubling
Adam Warlock.
Because it's kind of the same shot.
It's kind of like that closein shot.
Yeah.
And so I'm sprinting from.

(01:19:30):
And so.
So just for context, that's on nowhere.
The celestial head.
So that's.
That's where they film nowhere.
So I'm running with, you know, just arms up and everything like
that.
I took a little bit of thatfrom Shaolin soccer when that slow
motion.

(01:19:51):
So I'm going to revert to oneof our baby blur.
JoJo.
Yay.
JoJo.
Y.
It's okay.
Or do you want to ask it?
Go ahead, Jo.
Come on, jojo.
There's that smile.
She said she don't.
Okay, hold on.
I'm.
There it is.
Ask it.
Okay.

(01:20:14):
How did.
How did you turn your martial arts.
Career into a stunt person?
So.
Oh, well, thank you for asking.
So.
Martial arts is more to methan just a job because when I started

(01:20:39):
martial arts, I had no ideathat I was going to be a stunt performer.
I didn't know that I wanted todo that until college.
Before that, I wanted to be afighter pilot.
And they were like, bro, youtoo big.
But, you know, so.
So.
And like I said before, the, The.

(01:21:00):
The.
The addiction to cartoons.
80s cartoons, specifically thepoise and everything like that.
You Power Rangers, the.
The emotion.
It's like the martial artsjust choked and the geekdom just
helped.
It's like the martial artsgives you the fighting prowess that's
going to work in film, butit's not necessarily a requirement

(01:21:24):
because there's a lot of guyswho have no martial skill.
They just do what they callground to pound or bar fights or
anything like that.
They have a.
They have a mental toughnessand they usually do driving stunts
or they have something thatthey've done world class before that.
But for me, specifically, specifically, I've never actually
gotten to do too much martialarts on camera, but it does and has

(01:21:48):
always helped me with my bodypositioning, my air Awareness.
You know how I threw thatknife in.
In at Dr.
Strange?
That actually came from if.
If.
And again, it's for my older cats.
You remember the guy who couldrun really fast on Visionaries, how

(01:22:10):
he threw the knife?
Yes.
In the intro.
Visionaries.
That's how I threw that knifeat Dr.
Strange.
Because that's where they saidthe shot was going.
It was gonna.
The.
The knife was gonna comestraight at camera.
Go past camera.
I was like, where can I.
What catalog can I do that?
And I was like, the guy from Visionaries.
And so it was initially a.

(01:22:30):
A throw with the left and athrow with the right.
Now, the thing is, you can'tjust take the knife and throw it
from here.
The camera has to see it fromback here.
And so it has to be an entire shoulder.
And my.
My shoulder is now in line, somy back has to be to it, so it has
to see the entire motion.
I was just like, okay, I'llthrow it like the dude in the visionary

(01:22:50):
intro.
Nice.
I'm GLAD you mentioned 80scartoons, because you're talking
to a couple Gen Xers over here.
I don't know what you'retalking about.
You know, so, like, when he'slike, some.
They're like, there arecartoons that people do not talk
about, forgotten about.
Like, look, sitting in frontof a television screen as a kid.

(01:23:14):
Saturday morning cartoons, before we even had Cartoon Network.
Y' all don't know.
The struggle was real.
The cathedral was Saturdaymorning from 6.
That was the.
We didn't mess with Fruit Loops.
We did our chores early.
Yeah, exactly.
You like, it was always for.

(01:23:36):
At least for us.
My dad was like, all right,it's 12 noon.
All right.
Shows over.
Cartoons is gone.
Get dressed and get out.
Yes, ma'.
Am.
That's when.
That's when, like, full bandsdid theme songs for cartoons.
All right?

(01:23:57):
I have more respect for Jim than.
Than most people even care to.
I'm like that.
I'm like the music.
You see?
You see how you were justtalking about synergy?
Because that was the exactthing I was thinking about thinking
about Jim.
And I was like, he said it.
I was like, he heard me song.
You sit back like, who didthese tracks?

(01:24:18):
Lady got up and Joe justgoing, no, mother.
No, no, not that.
No, mother.
There we go.
Knew she was gonna bring it out.
Synergy, people.
That's how it works here.

(01:24:38):
JoJo is like.
It lights up, too.
I don't know if you can see it.
Oh, yeah, we see it, girl.
Girl.
Oh, yeah.
Definitely see it.
Go to Your room.
Good Lord.
I will not.
But that appreciation for 80scartoons, storylines be damned.
The animation and the musicwere standouts to this day.

(01:25:03):
To this day.
You look at the.
The intro to Transformers inthe actual animation throughout the
show was nothing like the intro.
No.
And you're just like, samething with thundercats.
Yes, that was a banger.
Same thing with Thundercats, man.
We don't want.

(01:25:23):
Listen, we will not talk aboutTiger Sharks, though.
Oh, my gosh.
Okay, Gary, you mentioned bravestar.
You remember that score?
I ran that on loop because I.

(01:25:45):
Have the hawk ear of the wolf.
Oh, my gosh.
I ran that on Lucas.
As you like.
You said the.
The instrumentalism of thatmusic was undeniable because as a
kid, we could hear the drums, the absolute percussion, the wind
synthesizers.

(01:26:05):
And you felt that because it'slike you knew this cartoon was gonna
be everything 100.
Another thing, Jason.
The Wheel Warriors.
Oh, let's go.
Nothing like a pot.
Nothing like a power ballad.
I will say that right now.
Hence why that transfer moviewill always stick with us.

(01:26:27):
You hear?
You got the touch, youimmediately start crying, man.
What?
Must be stopped.
No matter.
Mal has a question.
He says, have you heard ofAndre Dusa?
That's his bigger.
His older brother.
He's a martial artist and stunman as well.
What's his name?
Andre Dusa.

(01:26:47):
I have not.
What?
What?
What?
Did he.
Did he do any productions withme or what was he in?
I'm not sure.
He didn't say.
Okay, cool.
But, I mean, I'll definitelykeep an eye out.
For sure.
Yeah.
Always looking to meet new people.
Trey says Centurion.
So is it Adobe opening?
Yes.
They do about 90 cartoons had, like.

(01:27:10):
I mean, shoot guitar synthesizers.
Oh, my God.
Yeah.
It's.
It's literally why I would saythat a lot of 80s kids are interested,
of course, More music than just.
Or at least inner city kids.

(01:27:30):
People, you know, are moreinterested or more interested than
most people in other forms ofmusic, like rock, metal, anything.
Because those cartoons were soinfluential, and they meant some
cool was getting ready to happen.
Yeah.

(01:27:51):
My mom got on me for rewindingthe GI Joe movie just because of
the intro, man.
Right.
That.
The movie.
The intro to the movie.
I'm like.
We started off like this, okay.
You know.
You know when you're in agroup of other nerds because you
could say, you got the touch, and you hear.

(01:28:13):
Everybody go, you got the power.
You kind of.
When I go to the gym.
When I go to the gym, sometimes.
Well, not even sometimes I dothis Every morning.
And.
And surprisingly, people say, look, I look for this.
When you put this in yourstory, when I go to the gym, I'll
kick a different song, andI'll put a gif of a cartoon, and

(01:28:35):
sometimes I'll use whateversong fits.
When Optimus prime had thoseboosters in his waist that nobody
knew he had and transform slowmotion and did that aerial shooting,
all the Decepticons.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

(01:28:57):
And so I never forget again, that.
Is another body positioningthing that I did.
He has this.
This elongated, like, bentknee, straight leg body positioning.
And I use that all the timefor when I'm in the air.
Like, I like when he's.

(01:29:17):
Because it's very, very specific.
It's very, very specific.
When he.
When that gun first comes out,he's like, boom.
And this comes down his bodyinto the position.
I use that when I'm on wiresall the time.
Nice.
See that, Mom?
Cartoons wasn't trash for us.
It still was not.
Cartoons taught us so muchthat was.

(01:29:40):
More useful than calculus.
Oh, man.
You have no idea what kind ofgratification I had when I went to
my old algebra teacher's housewhen I just happened to be in, like,
you know, way out.
Way out in Maryland somewhere.
And another buddy of mine.

(01:30:01):
Another buddy of mine's sonhad my.
My algebra teacher, and I wentover to him, and I believe he's like,
peoples, what the hell are youdoing in my lawn?
I said, I just want to tellyou, Coach Lindsay.
And he was also a football coach.
I just want to tell you, CoachLindsay, remember how you said we're
not gonna have a calculator inour pocket all the time?
I pull out my phone.

(01:30:24):
Nice.
How about that?
So you are living the dream.
You're living that dream.
Can be done, people.
It's can be done work.
And you've obviously themartial arts.
I.

(01:30:45):
It's so impressive, My guy.
Thank you so much.
It.
It is.
It is, massively.
Because that's the first thing I.
When I.
You sent me that first reel, and I'm like, okay.
And then I seen the size andthe weight.
I'm like, let me run this back.
And I'm like, I'm.
Now I'm even more impressedbecause I'm like, once you.

(01:31:06):
Like you said during the show, you don't get to see that often.
And to go in there and say, okay, you're gonna do this and this.
I'm like, yeah, but I can do this.
And so much more.
When, like, you went in therefor Infinity War and you wowed them,
and they're just like, yeah,we'll see you tomorrow.
See them up.

(01:31:27):
Yes.
So it's.
It stands a question, like, you know, for the people that are
listening or watching.
Even Jojo, he was like that.
That's an inspiration forpeople to say, like, you can go,
Pat.
Go Beyond Plus Ultra.
It's.
It's there.
So.
But yo, you are managing to do.

(01:31:49):
You and the entire Stunt POCteam are really showing what it's
like to go out here and notjust look after each other, but inspire
other people to go and gobeyond the distance and do more and
be more impressive.
And we have a kid here wholiterally says, I'm gonna do that.

(01:32:11):
That's.
That is going to be me, youknow, and to walk away and have that
kind of impact.
You don't.
You don't like that.
That does something for me nowthat I didn't say earlier, but that
pushes me more than anything else.

(01:32:34):
Like, right there in thatmoment, I was like, whatever it is
that I thought that I couldn'tdo is over from that right there.
Because your daughter.
And, you know, I have adaughter, too.
She's seven.
But, you know, and there's,you know, eventually, you know, your.
Your own kids look at you, andthey're just like, oh, that's just

(01:32:56):
my dad.
He just does this kind ofstuff for.
For.
For.
For somebody else's child togo be like, you know that.
And then you get to listen to that.
And that's what we're alwaystalking about is visibility and representation
and somebody saying that thatmeans that I could.

(01:33:18):
That this is possible for me also.
So, young lady, with all ofyour strength and courage and charisma,
you have now motivated me togo forth and do better and do more.
So thank you for that.
Good job, Jojo.

(01:33:41):
Orange belt on karate.
Oh, you got an orange belt.
What's next after that?
Is.
Is purple next?
No, I'm gonna be green belt.
Green belt.
Okay, cool.
So wait, did they change it?
Is.
It is.
It is yellow before orange now.
Okay, so after that is green.
Okay, cool.
Yellow, Orange, Green.

(01:34:03):
Purple.
I think brown.
Okay.
Brown.
So blue.
Yeah.
Blue.
Purple.
I will.
I will tell you this.
Once you get to your blackbelt, that is not the end.
That is the beginning.
My God.
I love.
I love when we have dope guests.

(01:34:24):
I love it.
What'd you say, man?
Yeah, can you explain that?
Like, there's more once youget your black belt.
That is.
That is.
That is not the beginning.
That is not the end.
That's the beginning.
There is.
There's so much more.
Because a lot of people justlike, oh, I just want to get my black
belt.
I just want to get my black belt.
Once you get your black belt, that means that you now have the.

(01:34:47):
The tools to learn things fromother people that have been doing
this now forever.
That's a drop in the bucket.
Like so.
In kung fu, we have sashes.
And my black sass test tooktwo days.

(01:35:09):
Two days.
And I had to fight like allthe other kung fu teachers in the
area with a 15 wide light bulbthat couldn't see much.
They pledged you like.
They sent my man through the gauntlet.
It was like, you gotta go tothe school.

(01:35:32):
And the funny thing was, theydidn't have.
And it's not like they all hadthe same style.
Like, there was all differentstyles of stuff.
Wasn't the style that I learned.
It was they, like, you know, some people had learned Hung Guard,
just Tiger Crane and, youknow, Choi Le Font.
There's all different kinds ofstuff, you know, so it's not just
Northern versus Northern.
It's Northern versus Southern,Southern versus Southern, all this

(01:35:54):
other stuff.
You literally have to adapt onthe fly.
And so what they would do isthey would come in, do some stuff.
You hit you in the face alittle bit, then back up, and then
somebody else is coming.
Oh, yeah, you got jumped in.
Yeah, got jumped in.

(01:36:15):
Ladies and gentlemen, the kum.
They don't.
They don't do that kind ofstuff anymore, Jojo.
I promise.
But here's the thing, Jojo.
If they did, you could handle it.

(01:36:36):
You could handle it.
There you go.
10 times more than I evercould, I'll tell you, because your
mama's strong, you strong, andI'm telling you, you could.
It would be no problem for you.
They are lucky they're notdoing that kind of stuff no more
because they'd be like, youknow what?
Just give the school to Jojo.

(01:36:56):
Oh, my God.
Get the black eye, man.
Let me tell you.
Let me tell somebody.
I got a story.
Come on now.
You ain't tell me about that.
Mom, come on.
Gary.
I don't know if you.
I want to continue this conversation.
This is.

(01:37:17):
This is so dope.
Because we were going to talkabout Peacemaker episode six, and
I'm kind of like.
I haven't.
I haven't seen it.
My buddies worked on it, though.
Oh, Lord, here we go.
I haven't.
I haven't seen.
I unfortunately haven't seenPeacemaker at all.

(01:37:37):
I've been.
It's on my cue.
But, you know, my.
We're in Infinity War inVolume 3 of Guardians ends in the
Christmas and the holiday special.
And look, look, you're already.
You're just like, look, I'll try.
I've been to space.
I did go to space.
Yeah, A couple times.

(01:37:57):
Hey, let me.
The Guardianship was like, sitting in that ship was just as
cool as seeing it on tv.
Like, I wasn't like, they, they.
You know, James Gunn asked me.
He was like, okay, you know,so I got in there.
I. I hadn't seen it yet.
I hadn't seen the ship.
So I got in there, I was like, this looks just like it did in the

(01:38:21):
movies.
Wait.
I had that moment.
I was like, oh, wait.
I was.
I was waiting for it.
Now I want everybody to understand.
Notice how he just.
Just kind of slid that in like.
James Gunn spoke to.
We, sir.

(01:38:44):
Made fun of me, man.
That's bad.
We were flying to Los Angelesto shoot that part of Guardians Christmas
special.
That's in Los Angeles.
Right.
So we're on a.
This is going to sound, again, really pompous, but we.
They.
They flew us out there on aprivate plane, so there wasn't a
lot of people on the plane, right.
And so they're like, we needto take some people and take them

(01:39:07):
to the back so we can balancethe plane so we can take off.
And then once we get in the air.
Once we get in the air, we can.
We can.
We can sit him back.
And he was like, jerry, go tothe back of the plane.
I know a fat joke when I hear one.

(01:39:29):
That's bad.
He said, six back and play.
I said, okay, we're good now.
Yo, that's.
That's wild.
That is.
That ties into episode sixjust a little bit.

(01:39:55):
Kind of look at and go, really?
Really?
I got a question for Gary.
Oh, wait, I want one, too.
Okay, ladies first, then.
Fine, go ahead.
What was it like working with.
No, I'm.
No, can you.

(01:40:16):
So there is an air about JamesGunn that is horrible.
Wholly different from all ofthe other directors that people talk
about in Hollywood.
Do you.
James feels very family oriented.

(01:40:37):
Yes.
He's got a lot of nepotism andall that junk going on, but it's.
It feels like it's because hecurates the people that he wants
in his house.
Do you find that he is.
Oh, God, is he our only hope?
Obi Wan Kenobi.

(01:40:59):
I had.
Oh, I'm sorry.
I didn't mean to move thecamera, but I had a wonderful Time
working with him and everybodythat was there that he brought on,
let me tell you.
So we had a bunch of scenes onGuardians 3 with a lot of.
I'm talking, like, over ahundred children, all of High Evo's
kids that they were making.
He was so kind and so sweet toall those children where I know a

(01:41:23):
lot of directors would havelost their minds.
And he was so great to them.
And so his.
It's.
It's very interesting to watchhow his mind works when he's shooting.
It might not necessarily makesense in the moment, but afterwards
you're like, well, that workedin a way that I didn't think it was

(01:41:46):
going to.
And so I remember that there was.
So there's a scene with HighEvo and James, if you ever.
If you ever see this, then I apologize.
So there's that scene where we're.
Where we're.
Where we're.

(01:42:07):
We're.
We're jumping off of theexploding planet onto High Evo ship.
And something wasn't.
Wasn't happening with one ofmy other co performers, Riggs, like,
there was something that hedidn't like that was happening.
And so I was like, I'm gonnahave to sacrifice myself.
And so I did.
So I did something completelycrazy and completely.

(01:42:30):
And I just kind of made myselfreally silly going down there and,
like, hit my knees first.
What I was trying to do washit my knees first on the edge of
the ship.
So it popped me up and sawScorpion on the ship.
And it worked.
It worked really well.
And I heard him laughing inthe back, and I'm like, this took

(01:42:51):
the attention off of.
And so it worked out to whereshe could figure something out.
Now, she's a phenomenal performer.
I will go ahead and say thatshe's better than me.
And I had a wonderful timeworking with her.
She is always going to be myace and hole.
And I tell her that all the time.
Or whenever I, you know, think about.
I'm like, hey, you're my asom hoe.

(01:43:12):
And it was.
It was always great workingwith her and the Nebula performer,
both of them.
Like, stunt women do not getenough credit.
Minority stunt women do notget enough credit.
Yes.
Black stunt women do not getenough credit.

(01:43:36):
These are facts.
Yeah, but to answer yourquestion, I feel like James is a
hundred percent nerd and nerds and.
Or stunt people or nerd stuntpeople need to be doing more superhero

(01:43:58):
movies or powered peoplemovies, because there is a wide array
of imagination that can happen.
And so whoever he brought onand Whoever he brings on to his other
movies, for whatever reason, you know, he keeps using the same
people, but they always have alight about them while they're on

(01:44:20):
set.
And it makes for a mucheasier, lighter working environment.
This is something that I hadmentioned before, when you talk about
the Adam Sandlers or JamesGunn is like, there's a reason why

(01:44:40):
they work with a certain groupof people.
Because it's like, this is my.
This is my tribe.
Like, I know they can do this.
I know they can do this.
I know they can do this.
It's not.
It's not really nepotism.
It's like, look, you know yourcrew, right?
You know, you know exactlywhat they're capable of doing and
what they're able to pull off.

(01:45:01):
And.
And I've heard that even fromJames Gunn.
In the interview he did, hesaid the same thing.
He's like, there's this airabout people, and it cultivates that.
That crew like that.
And like, look.
And that's why.
That's why I would love to seeus in positions to be able to do
that for each other.
Exactly.

(01:45:22):
That's what I want for us.
That's what I want for us inthe film industry.
That's why, like, I'm gonnatell you, we need to see more of
us, just a group of dudes thatbuilt the spaceship and we can go
fight some space aliens withsome lightsabers.
That's what needs to happen.
Somebody needs to be able tofly and do a side flip kick into

(01:45:42):
an alien's mouth sauce.
I mean, this is why.
This is why.
This is one of the reasons.
Why.
This is one of the mainreasons why Blurred Station was created.
Yes, for that.
For this exact reason.
Seeing projects that arewritten by us, created by us, owned

(01:46:04):
by us, seen by us, and.
And eventually the masses.
Because I can't say how manytimes I've seen an anime or a comic
or a concept from somebodythat look likes us.
And I'm like, I would pay acrap ton of money to see that right

(01:46:25):
now.
100%.
100%.
Riri Williams.
They tried to set that show on fire.
Fire before it came out andgave it terrible reviews.
But think about how many ofthem nut jobs wanted to get in a
Gundam, right?
Yeah.
Rings will always be reams of paper.
That's all.
You get it.
So you.

(01:46:45):
That's.
That's literally the same thing.
Like, essentially you got thisblack girl getting into a Gundam,
a Gundam she built.
And it took.
It took the blurred communityto say, we haven't seen one trailer.

(01:47:07):
We'll do it ourselves.
We'll do it ourselves.
We'll need yourself.
And we do it.
Don't say, don't say, don't say.
And then not only did it comeout to have really good reviews,
despite what the other sidewas trying to do, people wanted more

(01:47:29):
and they're.
And they're itching for more.
When you see a character thatlooks or resembles or can look like
you, or can or has you thatinspiration to be a tech engineer,
to be a sorceress, to be awarrior, if people knew what Storm
was really capable of doing.

(01:47:50):
Right, that part.
We don't call her goddess justbecause it's a word to be playing
out.
No, this woman's a goddess.
Yeah.
So I kind of stole the move.
Who's.
I can't remember the actress's name.
Who played Storm and Storm.
Apocalypse.
Where Apocalypse wasAlexandria Ship.

(01:48:12):
Yeah.
Yeah.
So she came.
She came out of the lightningand did like this slide or whatever.
And I was just like.
And there was a. Yeah, she didthis slide into it.
And.
And I did a combination ofthat on this other show that I was
with that I was on just awhile ago.
And I was like, how did she do it?

(01:48:34):
And so there's another animefrom way back in the day called eight
man after.
Wow, let's go talking aboutthat today at work.
And they looked eight Man.
What?
I said, you're heathen.
Yeah, you're heathen.
And he was fat.
I'm big on, like, I'm big onspeedsters and eight man was a speedster.

(01:48:55):
I swear.
I swear.
Wachowski saw the whole bulletthing and stole it from eight Man.
But we're not gonna talk about that.
Oh, my God.
But so there's this slide thathe did and the same thing that Storm
did in that movie.
And I was chasing somebody andhad to come to a complete stop because

(01:49:16):
I was in dress shoes and theselittle pants that they gave me that
was way too small.
And I'm like, I can't sprint.
I can't stop on a dime.
So I have to try to stopbefore I hit camera and stop right
in front of her.
So I stole that slide fromeight man and her.
So I did a combination betweenand like, stop right in front of
camera.
And I was just like, you work.

(01:49:39):
Not.
I'm glad nobody dies.
So I. I gotta.
I gotta ask you, Gary, you.
It is.
First of all, as an elderblurred, it's so awesome to see the
next generation continue to do this.
Yes.
You young, because I'm 56.
I'm 60, so we ain't gonna dothat, however.
60?
Oh, my God.
Yeah, I'm three years of stuff.

(01:50:02):
Three years shy of 60.
Oh, my goodness.
So I want to be like you.
When I go, don't do that.
I know everybody call you uncle.
You older brother does.
Don't do that.
Fine.
Fine.
Okay.
You get your Teddy Grahams back.
Since you were so nice anyway, with everything that you've done,

(01:50:23):
have you been able to enjoybeing your best blurdy self?
I mean, like, go toconventions or maybe have any specific
hobbies as you do outside ofstunt work and performing?
I mean, so.
So I love this job very much, and training for it and becoming

(01:50:48):
better for it is fun for me.
And so they say you're notwhat you do.
And I'm like, but you wouldn'ttell a marine that he's not a marine
or she's not a marine.
You know, Like, I am a stunt performer.
I love being a stunt performer.
So I am that.

(01:51:09):
And I earned that.
Like, I earned it.
So, I mean, I do enjoy, youknow, think I have a motorcycle,
you know, and I paid for itwith Infinity War money.
And so the license says AVN GE R Avenger.
Because that.
That it was real for me.

(01:51:30):
I. I hate to interrupt you,but I gotta ask.
What.
What motorcycle do you have?
Just because I'm a fan.
It's a ZX14R stretched 18 inches.
And it's got Avengers in theswing arm.
And the swing arm glows.
Look at Spartans in love.

(01:51:53):
I was like.
I guess.
I guess Kelly's gonna sleep onthe couch tonight.
I don't know.
2016 special edition matte gray.
Nice.
Oh, that sounds cool.
Ass color, too.

(01:52:13):
Well, anything in that is cool.
See?
See, Lady Mandalore's facesays it all right there.
Every once in a while, her.
Her thing just freezes.
But that was perfect.
That was perfect.

(01:52:35):
It was perfect.
Oh, my God.
That is a beautiful machine, though.
I was like, that's awesome.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
I love that thing too.
Gary, this has been anabsolute pleasure having you on.
Thank you so much.
Thank you.
We would love to have you back.
Welcome back.

(01:52:57):
Welcome.
Welcome to the Blur Stationfamily along with the Stunt POC family.
So thank you so much.
Can we.
Can we have Gary come backjust to talk nerd?
Because that.
Thank you.
Everything you do, Because God damn.
But also, please, please come back.

(01:53:19):
What?
I said we need to have herback and have total blur conversation.
Just everything.
Everything.
Can it go on?
Room full of blurts on.
On Sundays too.
So, you know, I'm just saying.
Come on.
We.
We.
I gotta say.
Yeah.
I mean, it's gonna be you andNavy talking about the old.
The old school animes because.

(01:53:44):
And that's all I got for right now.
Well, you start with this.
You go with these three andblow everybody's mind.
You, of course, Akira is ofcourse, one ghost in the shell.
But then you have to go evenfurther than that and go with concern.
Oh, let's go.
Thank you.

(01:54:04):
Bless you.
Thank you.
Oh, my God, Gary, for thepeople that want to find some of
the other stuff that you do,where can they find you?
They can find me at GeForceStunts on Instagram.
That's the only social mediathat I have.

(01:54:26):
GeForce or on tick Tock.
But I mean, most of the stufffor training videos, stuff that I've
been in, I'm now not, I don'twant to say, making a transition.
I will go say I'm making apivot into acting and stun acting.

(01:54:46):
Okay, wait, wait.
I'm so sorry.
I need you to play Berg.
I need you to play Berg from Bitterroot.
I need you to play Berg from Bitterroot.
If you have not read that comic.
I need you.
I need you to talk to Mr.Sanford Green.
I need you to talk.
Okay.
I need you to talk to some people.
Put it out there in the blur.

(01:55:08):
Diverse.
Yes.
The eloquence with the big body.
Bubba, baby.
I am with it.
This has been so informative, just awesome fun.

(01:55:30):
Because this is what we doover here on this ship.
Yeah.
And.
And just reminiscing and just.
Just being in absolute awe ofyour talent.
Thank you.
Thank you.
So, dude, so talk to my shipwright.
He'll get you a pass to the ship.
You gotta.
You got a full pass to theship anytime we lift off and you

(01:55:52):
want to.
Come on.
Appreciate it.
Thank you so much.
So go ahead.
We also got a soul fromMidnight Comics.
Yes.
Family over here.
So we got to make sure that.

(01:56:15):
There'S some.
There are some black heroes.
Yeah.
Yes.
That aren't even themainstream, but they should be mainstream.
Look, look, neither was.
Nobody knew who this was.
What was that one with the.
The curving bullets Wanted.

(01:56:37):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, wow.
Oh, wow.
Yeah, that's right.
That was severely slept on.
It was.
So that movie was very good.
I actually have that one.
Yes.

Comic and geeky.
Yes.
I'm gonna do my homework, sodon't you bring me out there like
that.
Okay?
I'm a panelist now.
Don't do that.
Very important person.

(02:02:08):
And I'm getting back into mystreaming on Twitch.
It'll be on Sunday right afterthe show.
Everything else, huh?
I said you went out for a hot.
Okay, now you're back.
You went for a dive and came.
Right back up this conversation.
You about to be fired.
Okay, If I can't say nothingelse and.

(02:02:33):
And Gary definitely gave meinspiration for this.
Dedicate yourself to what you love.
Let nothing stop you, andmotivate yourself to know that what
you're doing has a purpose.
What you're doing has longevity.
If you're doing somethingpositive, somebody's watching you.
Somebody's listening to you,and you're giving them the motivation
to keep going.

(02:02:53):
So keep pressing, don't stop.
Especially if you're a blurred.
They always put us behind theeight ball.
We shot that into the corner.
We win every time.
And now where's the organmusic when you need it?
Don't do it.
Don't do it.

(02:03:26):
I knew it.
And I thank you.
And I thank you captain.
I thank you.
A word.
A word was given that theinvitation song with organ music
need to follow afterafterwards but oh I guess it's my
turn.
Black score Spartan 615 iswhere you can find me Gary.
Again thank you becauseinspirational and you like I said

(02:03:50):
after this I'm working out soyou didn't get.
I was.
I was looking for.
I was looking for somethingthat that dragged my ass in on the
gym.
And that was it.
So again thank you for that and.
Your time and again weappreciate it.
Outside of what's going onwith me guys, I covered all the mess
that's.
Going on with the world.
How the we got here everyWednesday at 8:30ish of course myself,

(02:04:11):
Tafara and Joe will cover whathas happened at the Tokyo Game show
and Tokyo Game show state ofplay and Microsoft's exhibits if
you call them and EA purchasesby a certain group.
I say on here but you can.
Catch us on get bit everyFriday 8:30ish as well.

(02:04:32):
I'm also streaming as well.
Still doing Hollow Knightbecause yes we die a lot.
Yes I do comedy and yes it'sfun to play.
We're trying to wrap this upbecause Ninja Gaiden 4 is coming
out very soon.
So I'm hoping to finish thisbefore we get to 4.
Same underscores also on Twitch.
Rules still apply folksbecause cons are still going out

(02:04:53):
there.
Rule number one, respect the cosplayer.
Cosplay is not to going consent.
Please treat me like pleasetreat people like human beings.
It's not that freaking hard.
Number two, hygiene is important.
Please wash your ass soap andthings of that nature are still available
that can be found everywhereeven when going to a gym.
Cologne and perfume are notbath soap replacements.
Why in the world would you putthis on before coming to a gym?

(02:05:15):
Because funk and perfumes willhave an everlasting battle and the
funk will always win.
Again, hygiene is importantand the third rules that I have for
myself is that everybody elsewhen it comes to fandoms and things
that nature talk share, discuss your fandoms, don't be a
dick.
And we'll all be cool.

(02:05:36):

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
