Okay, that's good.
We did it.
SPEAKER_04 (07:59):
We made it to the
end of the beginning.
SPEAKER_06 (08:01):
We made it to the
end of the beginning.
SPEAKER_04 (08:04):
There you go.
SPEAKER_06 (08:05):
Okay.
Um, so what are we gonna do?
We're gonna play a video.
Now, this video is a video thatwas made at Golden Air
Productions and it's old enoughthat Mitch Brisker is still in
it.
SPEAKER_01 (08:19):
Right.
SPEAKER_06 (08:20):
Okay.
So it's not like within the lastfew years, but it maybe be like
six, seven years ago, I thinkmaybe they did this video.
And this was during the timeperiod when they were getting
rid of all the manufacturingstuff at Golden Air Productions
or had already gotten gettingrid of it, and they were only
doing the internal trainingfilms because they don't really
(08:40):
sell those.
Right.
They lease them to theorganizations.
So there's a little gray areabecause you can't have people
work and make stuff thatsomebody sells, the person that
you the property you live on.
If that property also sellsthings and you live there,
that's a huge indicator forhuman trafficking.
(09:00):
So they had to get rid of allthat stuff.
SPEAKER_03 (09:02):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (09:03):
Um, and then um, oh,
did you unstar all those things?
SPEAKER_04 (09:07):
Uh lost all my
comments.
I didn't.
SPEAKER_06 (09:10):
Okay, whatever.
It's all good.
Anyway, um so we're gonna playtheir video.
It's like it's a few minuteslong, and then we're gonna go
through the video and we'regonna tell you a bunch of stuff
where the things are and allthat.
And then we have a drone videoof the property that we're gonna
just play and we're gonna justtalk over it.
SPEAKER_01 (09:29):
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (09:30):
Okay, so let's do
the video.
We'll start right with the uhthis thing.
Let me make sure I can pull itup over here.
And um, here we go.
We're gonna play this thing.
We're gonna yap while it'splaying.
Um you should switch YouTube.
SPEAKER_01 (09:43):
I remember my dad
once telling when it's like
crystal likes helping people.
SPEAKER_06 (09:49):
Crystal, this is
crystal S.
We'll call it we won't use theirlast.
SPEAKER_04 (09:54):
But the funny part
is chalking and bikes don't want
to help them.
SPEAKER_07 (09:57):
Never happened.
Nobody ever did this.
Nobody was playing basketball inthe middle of the day.
If we had exercise time, it wasat 10:30.
This is all bullshit.
Like basically, she's this ismake-believe.
SPEAKER_04 (10:11):
She's running to the
international.
SPEAKER_07 (10:14):
Yeah, so that big
sign is right on the highway.
SPEAKER_04 (10:16):
Films,
documentaries, public service
announcements, from literacyprograms to drug.
Everything somebody is helpingthem.
SPEAKER_05 (10:31):
Catherine Fraser.
There's Brahmin in thebackground of reception.
Her husband escaped.
She escaped a few times thatthey got her back.
SPEAKER_00 (10:40):
Here's Mitchie Boy.
Uh if her correctly taught theway it's supposed to be.
We need to see how it's done.
He wrote uh a core body of filmswhich comprised a total of the
phone.
SPEAKER_07 (10:53):
Those are all the
technical training films, all of
those.
SPEAKER_04 (10:55):
And the public books
in such a way that's artistic
and a big way.
SPEAKER_07 (11:04):
That was the movie
we shot.
Gary has a podium.
Um Ron Somerville, Tony Pender, and Crystal Lambert.
That's the city cast building ina lot.
Nobody ever walks on thosecasts.
SPEAKER_04 (11:23):
Yeah, another family
captain.
SPEAKER_06 (11:25):
Originally, Epaws,
Captain Fraser.
That's the lower that's MCI MassCompanion Inn where we would
eat.
SPEAKER_04 (11:33):
And yes, it didn't
have to be particular studios.
SPEAKER_07 (11:46):
It's a birthing
room, that's a secret.
SPEAKER_00 (11:52):
All the way down to
photos.
SPEAKER_07 (12:03):
This is our main
studio.
SPEAKER_00 (12:06):
It is got 72,000.
That's the building I built,that's upstairs.
It includes departments, makeupresearch.
It has two seconds there, 20,000square feet.
That's the studio.
That's the three.
And it's one of the largestfreestanders in the history of
(12:28):
the city.
I made that up.
Largest freestanders downstairs.
SPEAKER_07 (12:30):
I just literally
pulled that out of my hands in
the world.
Samantha Mayfield set price.
SPEAKER_04 (12:41):
We don't set limits
on the streets.
We said we weren't gonna use thelast thing.
There's lists of editingstations.
We produce over 2400 films ofvideos in a year.
We have a lot of messages.
SPEAKER_00 (12:56):
Testing, testing,
223.
SPEAKER_04 (12:58):
Testing, testing.
Is that better?
Yep, I'm louder.
SPEAKER_07 (13:02):
The video audio is
playing twice.
SPEAKER_05 (13:04):
I know, I don't know
how to fix that, but I don't
mind because it'll make it alittle tougher for you guys.
SPEAKER_06 (13:10):
You can go watch the
video.
We'll put a link to the audio.
We'll put a link to the videoand you guys can watch it.
Yeah.
We're just showing you this iswhat they make the place look
like.
SPEAKER_04 (13:18):
It's their this is
their puff piece.
It's not so much about whatthey're saying or doing, it's
just the facade that they'representing.
SPEAKER_06 (13:26):
And we wanted to
show you a bunch of these
buildings.
And Claire's talking about thepeople, and I'm talking about
the people.
We're not talking about that'sLuanda.
SPEAKER_04 (13:32):
Um yeah, so Luanda
joined the C organization when
she was about 12 and startedworking at that property when
she was 14 years old.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (13:40):
That other girl too.
Um this is translations unit, the Ron's Technical Compilations
Unit.
That's uh what's his name?
Nate.
Nate.
I didn't know that guy.
That's uh what's that's Naomi.
Naomi.
Um, they're typesetting all thebooks and lectures and
transcripts.
SPEAKER_04 (13:59):
That's our friend
Mitch.
Yay, Mitch, on getting up.
SPEAKER_06 (14:01):
She was my boss for
a while.
That's Chris.
They she works in Lecture Mixnow.
SPEAKER_04 (14:07):
Oh, yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_06 (14:09):
Yeah, those are
Studer A sixties or A twenties.
SPEAKER_04 (14:13):
I've spent many over
uh all nighters in these areas.
SPEAKER_06 (14:17):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (14:18):
I was seeing the uh
anyway.
SPEAKER_07 (14:22):
That's a mix, that's
a lecture mix room.
There's not a lot of time forstories.
You just have to describe whatit is.
Okay.
SPEAKER_04 (14:30):
Okay, fair enough.
SPEAKER_07 (14:31):
That's lecture mix
again.
They're doing a whole segment onlecture mixing.
SPEAKER_04 (14:35):
Chris, this he also
escaped and got brought back.
SPEAKER_07 (14:38):
Yeah.
The funny thing about this isthat L.
Ron Hubbard, oh now they'redoing CDs.
SPEAKER_06 (14:42):
Um there's Midge
talking about that.
Um, that's uh old Hubtardhimself.
Um He recorded, he was a masterrecordist and a master mixer.
That's why he recorded 3,000horrible lectures that had to be
that spent 40 years for them tomake them listen to them.
That's the film lab probablyspent about 5 million on the
(15:04):
building, 5 million on theequipment, and right when they
finished building it, they weswitched over to digital, and
there was no reason to processdaily film, no reason to do
answer prints, uh copy prints, prints prints, because
everything is digital now.
And so they basically blew$10million of Scientologist money
for no reason, right?
Because by the time it was done,we didn't need it.
(15:27):
And now they scan old films andretouch them frame at a time
because they have hundreds ofpeople there that have nothing
to do because they don't makeanything anymore, and they can't
get rid of them because theyknow a bunch of dirt about David
Miscavige.
So they sit there and theyretouch films one frame at a
time.
SPEAKER_04 (15:43):
Yeah, and I
guarantee all the people sitting
at the desks, they don't workthere, it's all just staged puff
piece.
SPEAKER_06 (15:49):
Oh, yeah.
This is this video is l is a ismovie magic.
Half these things are empty, ortheir people are sleeping on
their desk because they've beenup a long time.
And also all these people inthis video are heavily made up,
hair did, makeup, the wholething for this video.
Like they got new hair dues forthis video.
(16:11):
So these these gals are notlooking like this on a daily
basis.
It's a lot rougher.
Um, we did.
Did we show where the pancakeswere?
Oh, I missed the pancakes.
They probably didn't put thecassettes in here because uh
cassettes are kind of old, oldtimey.
That's video editing, offlineand online editing.
These are the events we used toput on.
(16:33):
There's Davy Boy, fake NavyDavy.
SPEAKER_04 (16:39):
I don't know who
that guy is.
SPEAKER_06 (16:41):
I think he's one of
the uh video directors.
I can't remember his name.
Mitch would know.
SPEAKER_04 (16:45):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (16:46):
Or somebody maybe in
the pink in the in the pancakes.
In the uh comments notes.
Kate Markowitz, she's she alsoescaped.
She also escaped and was jammedback.
Um look at their oh, we're soexcited for all this propaganda.
SPEAKER_00 (17:02):
That event will be
shown.
SPEAKER_06 (17:03):
I can't remember
what his name is.
They probably said his name inthe beginning.
Gary Ravenscroft or I don'tknow.
SPEAKER_04 (17:10):
I don't know.
SPEAKER_06 (17:13):
Um this is one of
the our the you know, the pro
propaganda videos we do for oneof those events, talking about
all the millions of people werethere volunteering.
Um that's Mitch on the set.
SPEAKER_00 (17:25):
And um Yeah, I think
she's the Cine secretary.
SPEAKER_06 (17:32):
She's over Cine now,
Aliyah.
She used to be in thequalifications.
She did.
SPEAKER_04 (17:37):
She was she worked
under me at staff section
officer.
Early 90s.
Yeah, she's another one that wasbrought there as a teenager.
SPEAKER_06 (17:43):
Staff training
officer, yeah, that's right.
There's Henning.
He's the one who makes all thosehigh Hitler stages.
SPEAKER_02 (17:48):
Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_06 (17:49):
Um Naomi.
She's married to QC, the guy whoruns SP, uh, the media, what's
it called?
The uh the troll, the Twittertrolls.
SPEAKER_04 (18:02):
Yeah, and his mom
his mom works for Office of
Special Affairs.
SPEAKER_06 (18:06):
Yes, and his dad
used to work for my stepdad.
My mom's uh small, small, smallworld husband three or two or
three or three.
SPEAKER_04 (18:14):
Crazy.
Yeah, I know.
SPEAKER_06 (18:15):
There's crystal back
out running again.
SPEAKER_04 (18:17):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (18:18):
Sure, Crystal.
SPEAKER_05 (18:19):
Yeah, sure.
Anyone who's been to the baseheadphones?
SPEAKER_04 (18:22):
Yeah, no, not even
anybody who's been to the base
sees that.
SPEAKER_07 (18:25):
They're like, oh
yeah, that's such a load of
crap.
SPEAKER_03 (18:28):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_07 (18:29):
Okay.
So that's the video.
Okay.
What's this?
Oh, it lost my mouse.
SPEAKER_06 (18:34):
Oh man, now we're
playing.
Get out! Um, I don't have, Igotta, where's that mouse?
Oh, it's over there.
Seven screens away.
SPEAKER_04 (18:41):
It's all good.
Okay.
Well, here I can.
SPEAKER_06 (18:43):
No, it's good.
SPEAKER_04 (18:44):
I got it.
SPEAKER_07 (18:44):
There you go.
Just had to get my there's sevenscreens in here.
SPEAKER_04 (18:50):
And somehow Mark's
mouse can travel from his laptop
over to the when I leave thatcomputer over there.
SPEAKER_06 (18:57):
Okay, so here's the
video review.
Now Clara did this uh littleslide deck here.
She made it pretty fancy.
Thank you for that, Clara.
SPEAKER_01 (19:03):
Yes, thank you.
SPEAKER_06 (19:04):
Um, but she uh she
put timestamps in here.
So if you go back and watch thatvideo, uh you can look at the
timestamps to see what whenthese people come up in the
video.
And you can listen to the audioif you want it.
Um the so there's a we we'll puta link to that original video in
the description, but it's fromuh uh a YouTube channel called
The Truth Project.
But it's a golden eraproductions video.
(19:26):
Yeah so it's a bit like what isgoing on.
You know what?
SPEAKER_04 (19:28):
I have an idea.
Why don't we just link to thein-depth review that Mitch did
of that video instead?
SPEAKER_06 (19:35):
Sure.
SPEAKER_04 (19:35):
Because yeah,
perfect.
SPEAKER_06 (19:37):
That's what we'll
do.
SPEAKER_04 (19:38):
Perfect.
SPEAKER_06 (19:39):
Okay, this is the
map of the entire international
headquarters, just so you cansee what what they showed there.
And this is in the inside coverof my both books?
Yes, of the hardback and thepaperback have the map in the
book, and then it has a littlekey that says what every single
building and location and allthat stuff is.
(20:00):
So that's a good cheat sheet ifyou want to follow along with
this.
SPEAKER_03 (20:03):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (20:03):
Okay, so first
jogger, joggy, jog, jog, joggy
make joggenstein is uh crystal.
And this is a screenshot fromthe golden era video, and this
is a screenshot from a hatevideo Crystal did on yours
truly.
SPEAKER_01 (20:17):
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (20:17):
Okay.
And the funniest thing was, um,I'm gonna tell the story.
SPEAKER_04 (20:21):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (20:22):
Might as well.
Might as well give a littlebackground on good old Crystal
over here.
SPEAKER_04 (20:26):
Let's do a deep.
SPEAKER_06 (20:27):
Crystal is one don't
judge a book by its cover.
Sure.
Yeah, but we but you can so seewhat the price is.
Okay, cost what it costs.
SPEAKER_03 (20:38):
All righty then
anyway.
SPEAKER_06 (20:41):
Um Crystal was the
staff section officer, right?
Or the staff training officer.
She worked in the qualificationsdivision, yeah.
And they were trying to get meup there to do something.
I don't even remember what itwas.
It was an interview, or I wassupposed to go and get an
interrogation or something.
SPEAKER_04 (20:56):
And I was like, You
were you were in trouble at the
time.
SPEAKER_06 (20:59):
I was in trouble for
something.
I did something David Miscavigedidn't like, and they said, Oh,
you gotta come up here.
And I came up there and theysaid, Oh, we're gonna do an
interview.
And I was like, Fuck you, I gotshit to do.
I'm leaving.
And she was gonna get in bigtrouble if I left.
So she grabbed me by my shirtand was like, You have to stay
here.
And I was like, Oh, do you thinkgrabbing me by the shirt is
(21:20):
gonna keep me here?
And I just started leaving thebuilding and she was holding on
to my shirt and she felt youripped your button open there.
SPEAKER_04 (21:27):
You got all excited
about the project.
SPEAKER_06 (21:29):
Take it easy there,
Red Rider.
Anyway, take it easy there, RedRider.
Um, so she takes my shirt andshe's holding on to it.
As I'm walking out, she's stillholding on to it, and she falls
down because I'm walking andshe's not, and then she
literally just held on to myshirt the whole way out of the
building.
Yeah, and that was me beingviolent with her.
(21:52):
Anyway, that's I think that'sthe I'm assuming that's what the
video is about.
Yeah, because I don't know ifI've had any other interaction
with this person except forthat.
And right after that, I waslike, I'm probably they're
probably gonna try to light meup for this.
And I went to Claire's office.
Yeah, and I went to RTC and Iwas like, hey, just so you know,
uh, I'm getting the shake downhere, and they're trying to pin
(22:12):
a bunch of nonsense on me.
Yeah.
Now Crystal is saying I beat herup because I left the building
while she held on to my clothes.
SPEAKER_04 (22:19):
Yeah, and I'm like
she was trying to restrain you.
I and I remember it distinctlybecause you were you were shook
up and very upset.
Yeah, because I was alldisheveled.
And I was like, what is goingon?
SPEAKER_06 (22:34):
She literally held
onto it so much that the shirt
gave way.
SPEAKER_04 (22:36):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (22:37):
Anyway, so that's
good old Crystal.
Um, and that's a screenshot.
I do that.
Good work, Clara.
When they take screenshots ofus, they photoshop them.
We just did the screenshot, butyou did an amazing job on that
screenshot.
Okay, that's Crystal.
Danny, this is Danny DunneganDunnit Again.
His name is actually DannyDunnegan.
He's a very, very heavilydocumented person on the
(22:59):
internet that works at this basebecause they have been sued, I
want to say at least on twoseparate occasions, because when
protesters came to the property,he punched them in the face.
SPEAKER_04 (23:10):
Right.
And how weird is it, too, by theway, that in the puff piece that
they're doing on Golden EraProductions, they include the
security guard driving byrandomly, like as if that's a
good thing.
SPEAKER_07 (23:21):
Yeah, he likes it's
driving.
SPEAKER_04 (23:23):
We all know he's
there to keep the staff there.
What is wrong with you people?
SPEAKER_06 (23:28):
Yeah.
Also, the um the security guardsand everybody who rode
motorcycles there, never, wenever wore helmets.
No one ever wore a helmet on theproperty.
And then they had a massive, they had many, many accidents
over the years.
Claire broke her tibula, fibula, clean breaks, shoulder,
(23:49):
shoulder, uh broke her shoulder, all kinds of nonsense.
And but then after we left, afew years after we left, there
was a kid who got in an accidentand he got brain damage.
He cracked, he crushed hisskull.
And really tragic.
From that point forward, everybody had to wear helmets.
SPEAKER_04 (24:06):
That's right.
SPEAKER_06 (24:07):
Okay.
So that's Danny Dunnegigan.
There's a screenshot of him fromthe video where he's driving on
that path.
Also, not a lot of people droveon the walking paths or the bike
paths down there unless theyworked down there.
SPEAKER_04 (24:20):
Yeah, well, it also
they painted those pathways.
Yeah.
So it was really treacherousriding a motorcycle.
SPEAKER_06 (24:26):
It was painted
asphalt.
Right.
And you would wipe out all thetime.
SPEAKER_04 (24:29):
Especially because
the sprinklers were going all
the time because everything hadto be green.
SPEAKER_06 (24:33):
Yeah, it actually
wasn't painted asphalt.
It was painted concrete.
But it was painted for manyyears.
They didn't put any grip in thepaint, or the grip would wear
off.
Yeah.
And then it would rain, andyou'd be going down, you'd be
like, Yes.
I probably crashed 10 times onthat little path that goes from
the manufacturing building toMCI.
SPEAKER_01 (24:53):
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (24:54):
That one little
slope.
There's a weird curve.
And the sprinklers would go on.
You'd just be driving.
SPEAKER_04 (24:58):
You kind of went up
over a bump and then curve
around.
SPEAKER_06 (25:02):
Right into that ivy.
SPEAKER_04 (25:05):
Oh my goodness.
Good times, good times.
SPEAKER_06 (25:07):
Good memories.
Now, this is Kathy.
Kathy is the public relationsofficer for Golden Air
Productions.
Yes.
Um, and she is um there's athere's a video.
I don't know where that videois.
We should put that video up onour channel.
Do we have I think we did avideo about it?
You gotta remember these things.
(25:27):
Yeah, and we gotta put a link tothem.
So we got Mark's video, we gotMitch's video, and we got that
that ambush video.
SPEAKER_04 (25:35):
You're talking about
the ambush video.
Yes.
Yeah, we should do a reactionvideo to that because I think
we've had it on the channelsomewhere.
SPEAKER_06 (25:41):
Or I did we went
through it.
SPEAKER_04 (25:43):
Yeah.
Anyway, we'll figure it out.
SPEAKER_06 (25:45):
If we didn't, we
will, and if we did, we'll link
it.
And then there's a screenshotfrom her from Anderson Cooper.
SPEAKER_04 (25:51):
I love when you do
an impression of her.
What's wrong with Mar?
Yes, Muriel.
SPEAKER_06 (25:56):
She was the old
director of public relations
before Kathy.
SPEAKER_04 (26:00):
Yeah.
And now I think I think Murielis her deputy or something like
that.
SPEAKER_06 (26:04):
Yeah, she's like
external PR.
SPEAKER_04 (26:06):
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (26:06):
Just external or
whatever they call the local
yuckity yucky.
SPEAKER_04 (26:10):
She hangs out with
the local people and does the
golden era golf course eventsand stuff like that.
SPEAKER_06 (26:16):
Somebody, we know
somebody who was trying to call
the gold base to talk tosomebody there.
They wanted to get a message toone of the relatives, and um, he
asked me what the number was.
I just read it right off.
And then um they called it andit forwards to Golden Era golf
course now.
So you can't just call yourfamily member anymore and it go
the receptionist like Golden EraGolden Era Productions.
(26:38):
Now it just goes to voicemail.
SPEAKER_04 (26:40):
Yeah.
Let me just pause to explain theambush video.
This was when Mark was at thethe Gold property with a Danish
film crew filming for adocumentary.
SPEAKER_06 (26:49):
Clara put it in the
links.
Oh, okay, good.
So that makes it even easier foryou to uh link it in the in the
description.
She is on the description.
Also the live chat.
Some people don't ever turn onthe live chat.
So if we get we got to put it inthe comments, pin a comment or
put it in the description.
SPEAKER_04 (27:04):
Perfect.
SPEAKER_06 (27:04):
Okay.
Thank you, Clara.
Yes, Clara.
Ah, thanks.
She's all of these people livedat gold.
Okay, and and Dave did as well.
When we were there, alleverybody in this video, and
except for Mitch, he had abungalow at the G units, not
Fitti and all those guys.
(27:25):
Just they were called thegroundskeeper units, but nobody
wanted to say groundskeeper, sowe called them the G units.
And this was way back 20 yearsbefore G unit was a thing.
SPEAKER_04 (27:35):
Take it easy with
your hand there, honey.
You're waving into my camerafull time.
SPEAKER_06 (27:39):
Oh.
Big hand mark reappears.
Perfect.
SPEAKER_04 (27:44):
Thank you, Love Foo
Kitchen.
SPEAKER_06 (27:45):
You know what I'm
saying?
You know what I'm saying.
You know what I'm saying here.
Okay.
SPEAKER_01 (27:52):
Oh my gosh.
No, that's Kathy.
SPEAKER_06 (27:55):
That's Kathy.
Kathy is one of the inchwives aswell.
SPEAKER_01 (27:58):
Yes.
Another link.
SPEAKER_06 (28:00):
Anderson Cooper, the
Inchwives.
There's a series that AndersonCooper did called Scientology, a
History of Violence.
SPEAKER_04 (28:07):
And it was really
good.
SPEAKER_06 (28:08):
It was amazing.
It had Tom DuBach, Jeff Hawkins,Mike.
SPEAKER_04 (28:12):
Yeah, I think Marty
Rathbun.
SPEAKER_06 (28:14):
Yeah, Mike and
Marty.
Marty Rathman.
And so that Scientology waslike, oh, Anderson Cooper, hey,
they're doing a story on us.
And David Muscav, which was likeKathy, Jeff's wife.
SPEAKER_04 (28:24):
Um and Josim, which
is Marty's.
SPEAKER_06 (28:28):
Marty's ex-wife.
SPEAKER_04 (28:29):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (28:29):
Jenny DeVocked, Tom
DeVock's ex-wife.
Yep.
Jenny Linson now.
And then Kathy, Jeff Hawkins.
Oh, do we have to go to thebook?
SPEAKER_04 (28:37):
Oh, and Kathy
Bernardini, which was Mike
Grinder's ex-record.
SPEAKER_06 (28:40):
Mike's ex-right.
Anyway, so she's on that.
Another link for you guys.
This is good watching.
Because you get to see whatthese guys are like in the real
world.
SPEAKER_04 (28:48):
Oh my gosh.
Okay.
SPEAKER_06 (28:50):
This is Eve.
And she was um the executiveestablishment officer.
Which means she's the personwho's supposed to make sure the
executives are going to studyand they know what they're
supposed to do, and they have todo the establishment officer
steps of all these checklists ofall these things I gotta know.
(29:10):
Um so I worked with her formany, many years.
And then I think she was in Cinefor a while.
She was the CINI secretary'slike org officer or Esto.
She was the establishmentofficer for Cine for the
cinematography division when Iwas in the Cine division, and
then she was the executive Estowhen I was in the Executive
Division.
Yes.
So I spent many years with Eveand her bugging me about it.
SPEAKER_04 (29:31):
And Eve Eve will
show on the next slide, but I've
known Eve since she was likefive years old.
She was born into the Corganization as well.
SPEAKER_06 (29:39):
Yeah, and she is now
married to John Stompkey, and
she's in the ambush video aswell.
So you get a twofer if you watchthat amb yes ambush video.
SPEAKER_04 (29:48):
And my cousin is
also in that ambush.
SPEAKER_06 (29:50):
So there's a bunch
of them.
SPEAKER_04 (29:51):
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (29:52):
Big time.
SPEAKER_04 (29:52):
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (29:53):
This is Eve and
Clare in what, like nineteen
seventy nine or what is this?
SPEAKER_04 (29:58):
No, this was like
nineteen eighty one.
SPEAKER_06 (30:00):
1981.
SPEAKER_04 (30:01):
Ballpark.
SPEAKER_06 (30:01):
That's a picture in
the front on the left.
SPEAKER_04 (30:05):
And Eve is in the
second row.
SPEAKER_06 (30:07):
Next to her brother
Adam.
SPEAKER_04 (30:09):
Yes, that's right.
Adam and Eve.
SPEAKER_06 (30:11):
Okay.
So there you go.
Exciting.
This is Tony, Tony Pinder.
He is one of five black peoplethat ever worked at the Intbase
that I know of when I was therefor 15 years.
SPEAKER_01 (30:21):
Yep, for sure.
SPEAKER_06 (30:22):
Um, and he works in
the video editing department.
He's the online editor.
He edits all of the videos thatScientology exports.
And um he is in that video, andthen he oh, screenshot from a
hate video Tony did on me.
I didn't know he did a hatevideo.
SPEAKER_04 (30:41):
Wow, Tony, look at
you.
Note to Osa, we do not watchyour videos.
SPEAKER_06 (30:46):
Also, what did Tony
and I had an amazing
relationship for 15 years.
Yeah.
Like, I don't think there wasever any nonsense with Tony.
SPEAKER_04 (30:55):
Nope.
SPEAKER_06 (30:56):
Huh.
SPEAKER_04 (30:56):
I haven't I haven't
watched and I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_06 (30:58):
Okay, for you, Tony.
Got got a hair did and got a gota suit.
Got to sleep for a few nights,so he looked like something.
I appreciate it.
I appreciate that you got that.
Luanda.
Luanda was a little German girlfrom um, she I think she came
directly from um EU.
(31:18):
She went to LA.
I think her mother was in theSea Org or something.
SPEAKER_04 (31:22):
I think so.
SPEAKER_06 (31:22):
And because she was
such a little kid, she never had
any out qualifications becauseshe never got any time to get
into anything, like most of us.
And so she went straight tointernet.
I think she joined the Sea Orgwhen she was 12 years old.
And she was working in LosAngeles or in EU.
And then she came to the base, Iwant to say when she was 14.
She was one of those kids thateverybody was like, 14.
(31:46):
They're really uh they're reallybringing them here young now.
See how she's gonna do 120-hourweeks.
Right.
14-year-olds.
SPEAKER_01 (31:54):
Yeah, I know.
SPEAKER_06 (31:54):
And there was a lot
of drama with the little kids
because they're like, what'sgoing on?
Right.
Like, why are we staying up allnight every night, every night?
And it was like, yeah, that'sthat's how it goes here.
Yeah.
You're 14.
SPEAKER_04 (32:06):
I know as a parent
now, probably shouldn't be here
doing that.
SPEAKER_06 (32:11):
Joined the SO when
she was around 12 or 13, been a
gold base since the early 90s.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There you go.
Um, this is Linnea, yeah, thegirl that works in Lecture Mix
now.
When I was in tapes, and ifyou've read my book, when we
were in the place that makes allthe cassettes, we called it
tapes or the Gauss Line.
The Gauss uh was the name of thecompany.
Uh C Tech Gauss was the name ofthe company that built all the
(32:33):
equipment that we used.
And Linnea, when I got there, was in RTC.
SPEAKER_02 (32:39):
Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_06 (32:40):
Um, and she got
busted out of the same office
that Mark Fisher was in, the CLoffice, corporate liaison
office.
She got busted out of there, andthen I think she went to CMO Int
for a little bit, and then shegot busted out of CMO Int or CMO
Gold, and then she went intogold.
And I was already been workingin there for a while, and then
she was made my boss because shehad been around the audio lines
(33:02):
for like 15 years.
Yeah.
So she knew how to she knew howto document all the equipment to
make sure that it was readingall the correct things, and she
was like the queen of that.
SPEAKER_03 (33:11):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (33:11):
And there was like a
ton of that that was gonna have
to get done there.
So they were just like, just puther, make her work in there.
Um, so she basically had beenkicked out of Religious
Technology Center and now was inGolden Era Productions on a
pretty low down the totem polepost.
I mean, she was the day pancakeQC, right?
That was the name.
SPEAKER_04 (33:31):
And her sister also
worked at that property, too.
Corey.
SPEAKER_06 (33:34):
Corey Norton was her
sister, and her name was
originally Linnea Norton, andthen they had another young
girl.
She was also one that came tothe base when she was very
young.
Yes, like 14 or 15, and that wasElsa Norton.
SPEAKER_04 (33:47):
Oh, that's fine.
SPEAKER_06 (33:48):
And their mother was
Kathy Norton, and she worked in
Los Angeles.
Oh, we got a dog alert.
SPEAKER_02 (33:52):
Hey, Bella.
SPEAKER_06 (33:53):
Let's see.
Can we see the dog?
Oh, she's gonna miss that.
Sorry guys.
She busts.
No German Shepherd.
Okay.
Oh, look at that.
Double Claire.
Yeah, it gets me off the takesme off the hot seat.
Okay.
Uh Mark's boss for severalyears, roughly 1990 to 1993.
Okay.
Now, here's something crazy.
I just realized I worked withher more than any other one
(34:17):
person.
Probably I know.
SPEAKER_04 (34:19):
I know, I know where
you're going with this.
And I know the same thought.
I know.
SPEAKER_06 (34:22):
Also, the other
person that I worked with, the
most there were two people thatI worked with for that whole
time.
Lisa Schroer.
SPEAKER_01 (34:31):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (34:31):
Because when I was
on the shoot crew chief, she was
the uh director's assistant.
Then when I was a pre-propdirect, she was the city
secretary.
Then when she was the commandingofficer, I was the producer.
So probably half the first halfwas Lenin, second half, Lisa.
No hate video from her.
SPEAKER_04 (34:46):
Yeah, and you know,
the same is true for me.
Um the person I was closest toand worked with the most was
Katie Feschbeck.
SPEAKER_06 (34:56):
Yeah, no hate video.
SPEAKER_04 (34:57):
No hate video, which
either to me means they're
either in the hole.
Yeah, um, they got out andthey've been gagged.
SPEAKER_06 (35:05):
Yeah.
Or David Miscavige don't want topay for them to get their hair
did.
SPEAKER_04 (35:08):
Yeah, or they're on
the decks and in ethics, and
they they don't want they don'twant to go tell them anything.
SPEAKER_06 (35:14):
Yeah, they don't
want to say, like, oh, Mark left
and he's attacking it.
It'll be like, really?
SPEAKER_03 (35:18):
Yeah.
unknown (35:19):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_05 (35:19):
He says we beat
people and we we stay up all
night.
Yeah, we were there for that.
Yeah.
I'm one of those people you'vebeen beating for 15 years.
What are you talking about?
You want me to do a hate videoabout him that you don't beat
people after you beat me lastweek?
SPEAKER_06 (35:32):
Right.
That's true.
I just realized that's it.
Yeah.
The people that did the hatevideos, they were not none of
those people are big executives.
SPEAKER_04 (35:42):
Right.
SPEAKER_06 (35:42):
And the only person
that isn't Gerald Duncan,
doesn't he did he do a hatevideo?
SPEAKER_04 (35:46):
Yes, I think so.
SPEAKER_06 (35:47):
So he but he knows
about all the beatings.
SPEAKER_04 (35:49):
That's right.
So he's a double.
And even talk about like ourfamily.
Our family did not even knowwhere we physically were.
SPEAKER_05 (35:58):
They did hate
videos.
SPEAKER_04 (35:59):
They did hate
videos.
And we spent like what?
Over 15 years a week.
Less than a week.
SPEAKER_06 (36:04):
Okay.
Well, yeah, because it was justa few hours once a year.
SPEAKER_04 (36:08):
Right.
SPEAKER_06 (36:08):
So let's say three
days they spent with us in the
15 years that we were at thebase.
That's right.
And they'd get to do a hate.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (36:16):
Like my brother, my
stepbrother was, let me think
about this for a second.
He was four years old when youjoined the I joined the Sierra
Club.
SPEAKER_06 (36:25):
Oh yeah, that's
tiny, that's tons of material to
pull from.
I know there's a few peoplerolling around out there that
remembered things from when theywere one or two or three or
four.
But you ain't rememberingconversations you had with your
sister for five minutes on aSunday when you were two and a
half years old.
No, that's right.
(36:46):
Okay.
SPEAKER_04 (36:46):
And their their
commentary is on things that
they don't even know.
Like they haven't read yourbook, they haven't talked to us,
they haven't none of that.
So they haven't bogus scriptednonsense.
SPEAKER_06 (36:57):
They only know what
they've been told they know.
SPEAKER_04 (36:59):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (36:59):
Um, so that's
Linnea, Mark's boss, for several
years, roughly 1990, 1993.
Okay, this is Chris.
Chris was married to anexecutive of Golden Air
Productions.
She was the Hubbard areasecretary.
That's the people that are incharge of the communications and
the switch.
SPEAKER_04 (37:17):
And all the
recruitment of new secrets.
SPEAKER_06 (37:19):
Recruitment of new
people to the base of the
property.
And then also the policedepartment, the ethics, the
inspections and reportsdepartment, which is where the
the the organizations likesecurity guards and police are
all located in.
Okay.
Um Claire gladmark added whatChris was doing in this shot
(37:39):
because I had no clue.
Yeah, so Chris is the lecturemixing administrator.
So when you're mixing one of L.
Ron Hubbard's horriblerecordings that he was that he
expertly recorded, um they haveto play, they have to find the
original machine that recordedthat, and then they play it back
(38:00):
on that exact machine or the uhthe replica or the same model of
that machine.
Yeah.
And they have to adjust theazimuth and the tracking, and
they have to adjust the recorderso that it matches that
recording exactly.
And then they make a mastertape, like a master copy of the
original, and then they makesome copies of that, and then
(38:22):
they take that thing and theyimport it into a computer and
they mix it and they do allkinds of, they put it through
all this processing, outboardprocess processing equipment.
And when the mix gets approved, when they have to send every
single L.
Ron Hubbard lecture has beengets an edit.
They take out all the farts andthe burps and the the N-words
(38:46):
and the all those things.
SPEAKER_01 (38:48):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (38:48):
And then um they
make an edit of that.
David Miscavige has to approvethat.
They have to say, these are allthe things we edit out.
He did a uh, you know, theyedited out burps and they edit
out farts, but there's a fewtimes where L.
Ron Hubbard did what's called adual flute salute, and he did
both at the same time.
SPEAKER_04 (39:06):
Mark's favorite term
in the whole world.
SPEAKER_06 (39:09):
It's also called the
double pipe classic, but in the
if you're where if you were inthe military, it's a dual flute
salute.
So it's just a variation onthat.
But um, they edited those out.
SPEAKER_04 (39:18):
I just call it a boy
thing.
SPEAKER_06 (39:22):
Okay.
Thank you for that.
Your contribution wasworthwhile.
Um Chris escaped, but wasbrought back.
Oh, so the thing that Chris didwas after they did all that mix
and L and uh of the L.
Ron Hubbard lecture, and DavidMiscavige approved it, or when
they went to go submit it forapproval, he would log every
single knob on every singlepiece of equipment.
(39:43):
They had sheets, printed sheetsof these, and he would mark
exactly where each knob was.
And if they were doing a mixdown and it had 24 tracks, then
that person would log every knobof every single mix channel.
It could be 5,000 knobs that hehad to label exactly where it
was on these papers.
And then that way they wouldstrike the mix and do a new mix.
(40:07):
And if David Miscavige said itwas okay, you're good to go.
But if he said, Oh, this thingis a big piece of crap, it needs
to be redone.
You it's too thin or it needsmore base, or you got to do
this, or you gotta do that, thenthey gotta pull that mix back
up, and he's got to go throughthe logs and make every knob
back to the way it was for thatother mix.
Now you can do all that shit inthe computer, so they literally
(40:29):
just need like a desktop.
SPEAKER_04 (40:31):
Yeah.
Um but you know how they are, they're probably still doing it
the same way.
SPEAKER_06 (40:35):
These mixed rooms,
these mixed rooms have probably
$300,000 worth of equipment inthem.
Each mix, and there's three ofthese little mixing uh rooms.
SPEAKER_04 (40:44):
And they keep
redoing them too.
SPEAKER_06 (40:46):
Yeah, we we would we
redo them every five years at
the property, and they wouldnever the mix the original
recordings are still dog shit,so it's like you know, you put
dog shit through a dog shitfilter and you just get watered
down dog shit.
Okay.
Uh Brad, um, this guy, he wa cwas also another person that
came to the base when he waspretty young.
SPEAKER_04 (41:04):
Yeah, well, he was
at the um that's what I'm
saying.
SPEAKER_06 (41:08):
When they got rid of
the ranch, it was like if you
graduated, then you came to thebase.
Yes.
And if you weren't, then youwent to LA or you went somewhere
else.
SPEAKER_04 (41:16):
Yeah, he was either
born into the sea organization
or came in at a very young age.
SPEAKER_06 (41:20):
Aaron Ross Powell
Well, his parents were his dad
was a dentist and his mom was adental assistant.
Yes.
And so his parents wererecruited for the sea
organization so there could be adentist at the gold base.
So they have to stop paying forpeople to go outside and go to
the dentist.
SPEAKER_04 (41:36):
Yeah.
Not a good dentist, though, bythe way.
SPEAKER_06 (41:38):
Every single thing
that he did on my mouth either
fell out or I had to have takenout and replaced.
SPEAKER_01 (41:44):
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (41:45):
Every single thing.
He's also the guy that pulled myfour impacted wisdom teeth with
no uh Novacaine.
SPEAKER_04 (41:52):
Yeah, and Becky is
the one that shut my hand in the
frame of the door frame of a carwhen I had a broken leg.
SPEAKER_07 (41:59):
Yeah.
We haven't even talked aboutthis poor kid.
We've been talking about his momand dad.
SPEAKER_04 (42:04):
Nightmares.
SPEAKER_07 (42:05):
Brad was the son of
these two.
SPEAKER_06 (42:08):
And he worked in the
film laboratory, the one they
built, and they spent fivemillion dollars on equipment,
and they fent spent five milliondollars on a building, and then
we went right when they got itall working.
We were like, we're switchingover to digital guys.
Good job on spending 10 yearswasting building that building
and building all that equipment.
Yep.
Okay.
Kate, Kate was awesome.
Kate was uh when we were there, she was in the electrical
(42:30):
department pretty much theentire time.
Yeah, she got busted out of CMOInt, which is Commodore's
Messenger OrganizationInternational.
Yeah, got busted into Golden AirProductions, and she was in the
electrical department and sheran conduit and cable and
electrician stuff.
Like nuts and bolts, electricianstuff.
And I think she might have beenthe person that was kind of like
(42:52):
did some logistics or somethinglike that when Dana, that other
Dana girl left.
Anyway, um, she escaped, butthey got her.
SPEAKER_04 (43:00):
Yeah, I think she
escaped again after that, I'm
pretty sure.
SPEAKER_06 (43:03):
Yes, I think she's
escaped at least twice or said
she wanted to leave.
And then they were like, oh, andthat's it.
SPEAKER_04 (43:09):
She's part of like
one of the foundational families
of Scientology.
SPEAKER_06 (43:13):
And she's the sister
of Lisa Schroer, who used to be
the commanding officer of thisuh Golden Air Productions and
the Cine Secretary and thedirector's assistant.
And Mitch, I bet Mitch has thebest description of her in the
world in his book.
SPEAKER_01 (43:27):
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (43:28):
And her that's her.
There's Kate and Lisa.
They're from they're fromAustralia.
SPEAKER_01 (43:32):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (43:32):
And they are cousins
with Kate Soprano.
That's right.
And also they're cousins withGary Conley, I think, or family,
family connections or wannabecousins or some shit like that.
SPEAKER_04 (43:44):
Yeah, I know.
I'm pretty sure.
SPEAKER_06 (43:45):
Um and yeah, that's
her.
Um, and that's that.
That's the video.
SPEAKER_04 (43:50):
There you go.
SPEAKER_06 (43:51):
Okay, so now get rid
of that.
I gotta I gotta get rid of this.
Okay.
Remove.
Okay, now we're gonna add thisone.
Now this.
SPEAKER_07 (44:00):
This is good stuff
here.
SPEAKER_06 (44:03):
Oof.
Okay.
Where are you be?
There you be.
SPEAKER_01 (44:08):
All right, here we
go.
SPEAKER_06 (44:09):
Well, hold on, let's
do this.
Because I wanna, we can they canstill see us.
SPEAKER_01 (44:14):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (44:14):
Okay.
So now I gotta rewind this.
This doesn't, I'm not gonna playthe video of this because I
wanna, we're just gonna talknow.
We'll put a link to this videoas well.
Um I don't uh I don't rememberthe channel name, but I will uh
I'll put it in the descriptionso you guys can watch this.
It's called Flying Over the GoldBase Church of Scientology
(44:35):
Center in San Yacento.
Technically Gl Gilman HotSprings, but we'll okay.
That used to be a trailer park, and now that's the golf course
clubhouse.
And then this is the Golden EraProductions golf course.
And on the side where you seeall those cars, that is Highway,
California Highway 79.
And this whole thing is the golfcourse, and we used to live.
(44:58):
Oh, you can't, oh yeah, you cansee the arrow.
We used to live right aroundhere, uh, in where in those
houses are.
Off to the right, yeah.
Yeah.
Now this is the birthingbuildings.
SPEAKER_04 (45:08):
Yep.
And these and they they thesewere not built.
SPEAKER_06 (45:12):
Um they were built,
but they weren't fixed.
It was a construction site whenwe so those are all Sea Org
birthing right there.
SPEAKER_04 (45:17):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (45:18):
And they have a
laundry facility down there and
a dry cleaning.
Okay, now that building, that'sthe film lab.
SPEAKER_04 (45:22):
No, no, wait, oh,
and there's the uh Jesus, this
is fast.
SPEAKER_06 (45:26):
This man's jamming
it up.
Hold on a second.
Hold on, hold on.
Everybody take it easy.
Take it easy.
SPEAKER_04 (45:32):
There we go.
We gotta pause.
Pause right there.
SPEAKER_06 (45:34):
No, I'm gonna put it
on half speed.
SPEAKER_04 (45:36):
Oh, well, just pause
it right there for a second,
because there on the right isthe the ship that we've talked
about so many times.
SPEAKER_06 (45:43):
Yeah, let's just
rewind the desert.
Retake that.
SPEAKER_04 (45:48):
Okay.
SPEAKER_06 (45:48):
Okay, so that is the
birthing buildings, and right
off screen on the bottom left uhright-hand corner is where the G
units are.
And those are the executive bunkbungalows and where Mitch
Brisker lived for many years.
Okay, that building right thereis the film lab.
This one.
SPEAKER_04 (46:03):
Oh, oh wow, nice
sound effects.
SPEAKER_06 (46:09):
Okay, that is
manufacturing.
It's I he the angle of thedangle.
Okay, so this building righthere is the film laboratory.
SPEAKER_01 (46:18):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (46:19):
Okay.
In the middle of the screen, that's the film laboratory.
And then the building right onthe other side of it is called
Building 36, the manufacturingbuilding.
SPEAKER_04 (46:28):
Yeah.
And that's also where umsecurity is.
That's also where the ethicsdepartment is.
SPEAKER_06 (46:35):
Yeah, that's where
all the administrative offices
for Golden Air Productions, theexecutive division and the
manufacturing division, and thetreasury and the ethics
division, all that.
Okay.
Now, right here, that'smanufacturing.
Okay, good.
Right here in the middle of thescreen, that is the main guard
booth.
SPEAKER_03 (46:52):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (46:52):
And that's where
they control all of the security
systems for the base.
That's where the fence shakersreport to, that's where the
lights, that's where the anyalarm systems, ground
microphones, anybody shakes anyof the ultra barrier fence, it
all feeds to there, as well ashundreds of cameras everywhere.
They all feed into that mainsecurity booth.
(47:15):
Yep.
And there's one person that'ssupposed to be there watching
all that stuff, and then there'sanother person who usually is
dealing with staff going in andout or whatever else is
happening or going across thehighway.
And then also for visitors.
And so you have two, usuallyhave two people in there.
And when they're running a thinshift, they might just have one
guard, like at the night shift, they might just have one guard
(47:36):
in there.
SPEAKER_01 (47:37):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (47:37):
Okay, and then down
here, um, it this big building
here.
I hope you can see that redlittle mouse thing I've got
here.
Um, that is the Cine gym.
And then here on the right side, that is the Star of California
Clipper Ship.
And then right in the edge offrame, I wonder if we can see
that.
Yeah, right?
SPEAKER_04 (47:59):
Yeah, right here.
Went past.
SPEAKER_06 (48:00):
These buildings
right here, these are called the
villas.
SPEAKER_01 (48:03):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (48:03):
And so this is the
lower villa, this building right
next adjacent to the clippership.
You can see the masts of theclipper ship there.
Right next to that is the lowervilla, and then that's where
David Miscavige's was that wherehis birthing was, or was it
middle villa?
No, lower villa was DavidMiscavige's.
That's where his birthing usedto be.
(48:26):
And then the middle villa waswhere there was RTC offices.
SPEAKER_04 (48:31):
That's where I
worked.
SPEAKER_06 (48:33):
And then the upper
villa was David Miscavige's
offices, and his office staffoffices were in the upper villa.
SPEAKER_04 (48:41):
Yeah, and I don't
think that you can see building
50, which was the new No, we'llwe'll see, we'll go through
that.
Oh, okay.
Awesome.
SPEAKER_06 (48:47):
Okay.
So that's good for that frame.
SPEAKER_04 (48:49):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (48:50):
Okay.
And then down Yeah.
Down this way, off to this side.
I don't know if this video willcover it, but down off this side
is where the purificationrundown and the running program.
SPEAKER_04 (49:02):
Yeah, on the left,
if you can't if if I can't see
the mouse.
SPEAKER_06 (49:05):
We'll keep we'll
keep going.
Yep.
SPEAKER_04 (49:06):
Sounds good.
SPEAKER_06 (49:07):
Left.
Yeah, exactly.
Okay, good.
So you can see the pool in thestar of California.
Okay, good.
So now this right here is theCine Gym.
And the reason it was called theCine Gym is because when they
built the property, um, theywanted to turn this area down
here into a studio.
They wanted to build a newstudio from scratch, but they
didn't want the town to knowthat they were making
(49:28):
Scientology movies out herebecause the Scottish Quietude
Highland Society is the one whobought this place.
And that's why all the motifsare Scottish and all that other
good stuff.
Right.
But they wanted them to think,oh, this is just where they're
going to have a gym.
And so there was like abasketball court, and that's
what it was supposed to be, andthat's what we were building.
That was the only thing thatwould kind of pass off with the
(49:52):
design.
I think you just say it's abasketball gym.
And so it was always just calledthe gym for the forevermore.
SPEAKER_03 (49:58):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (49:58):
Okay, then this
giant building here in the
middle, that is called MassacreCanyon Inn.
This canyon that runs in thebackground at the very top of
the frame, there's a canyon backhere, and that's called Massacre
Canyon because there was a wholeshowdown up in here, and a whole
bunch of Indians got massacred.
American, Native Americans.
SPEAKER_01 (50:19):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (50:19):
Um, and that they
called it Massacre Canyon, and
this was the Massacre Canyon Innwhen this was just a uh uh hot
springs run by old man Gilman, and um, and they turned that
into the dining hall for theproperty.
And then this building that kindof connects to it right here
where my little red uh cursorthing is, that is the lodges,
(50:42):
and that's where thecinematography division and the
post-production editing, videoediting, and offline editing and
rushes.
We had a rushes theater whereyou'd see the daily shots from
the film crew.
That was all in the lower lodgesand the upper lodges and this
whole place here.
And that is the reason it wascalled the lodges, is because if
you would come in, you wouldstay at the resort, you would
(51:03):
stay in those, those were hotelsrooms, and you'd stay in there.
And um, that's and then when youwanted to go eat, you walk over
to the restaurant and and youcould go golfing and you could
go to the hot springs and youcould do all that stuff.
And so these were all turnedinto offices.
So like every basically everytwo offices had its own
bathroom.
SPEAKER_04 (51:23):
Right.
SPEAKER_06 (51:24):
Because they were
hotel rooms.
SPEAKER_04 (51:25):
Yes, exactly.
And then on the right there ofthe highway, yes, that's where
Claire works.
Yeah, that's the qualificationsbuilding, which is where staff
training would take place.
And um, and the building likejust to the right of that was
where all the counseling, theyou know, auditing sessions
(51:47):
would take place.
Del Sol.
Um, yeah, didn't thequalifications building used to
be called the SPA?
SPEAKER_06 (51:54):
Yeah, so this is
where the hot springs were.
This building that has thiscross on it, the Scientology
cross.
SPEAKER_03 (51:59):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (52:00):
This is where the
hot springs, the main hot
springs used to be located.
And then there was another spaor like hotel area here, right
next to it, that was called DelSol.
SPEAKER_01 (52:11):
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (52:12):
And that's where it
was another basically a bunch of
hotel rooms.
SPEAKER_01 (52:15):
Yes, that's right.
SPEAKER_06 (52:16):
And then that turned
into international management.
SPEAKER_01 (52:20):
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (52:21):
And then when they
built the double wide trailers
where the hole is, they movedmanagement was kicked out of
there and they turned that intothe all the auditing rooms for
the qualification division.
SPEAKER_01 (52:31):
That's right.
SPEAKER_06 (52:32):
So that's where you
would go and get sec checks and
Scientology auditing was in thistwo-story building with just
basically like some offices, butmainly just like tons and tons
of interview little rooms whereyou could get all with video
cameras.
Video, we made that look list.
So microphones and cameras inevery single interrogation room.
SPEAKER_01 (52:55):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (52:56):
Okay, let's play.
Loves it.
Oh, you know what?
I think I could shrink thisdown.
I won't do it while it'splaying.
Okay.
So this.
Oh, Jesus.
Okay, I'm gonna do it while I'mgonna do it while Oh yeah, I
can.
Look at that.
SPEAKER_04 (53:14):
Oh right, much
better.
SPEAKER_06 (53:16):
Okay, so sorry about
that, guys.
Okay, so this, we'll do anotherone.
We'll do pick another one righthere.
Right there.
Right?
Oh no, that's manufacturing.
There we go, right there.
Okay.
So this, this is that diningroom right there.
This is the qualifications downat the bottom.
And then in the middle, this bigbuilding right here in the
middle, that is the garage.
(53:38):
And that is where motor poolwas, and the estates division,
grounds, engineering,electrical, and construction.
Construction.
We're all in that building.
And there's probably a milliondollars worth of equipment in
there.
SPEAKER_04 (53:53):
Vehicle lifts and
oh, and the landlord office was
also.
Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (53:57):
And right next to
the highway, there was the
landlord office, and they're theones that basically control all
of the renovations ofScientology internationally, is
in that office, the landlordoffice.
They own all these ideal orgs.
They're actually owned by, Ithink it's called Building
Management Services ScientologyCorporation that's not that's
(54:18):
tax exempt, I think.
And they are the ones thatadminister all the buildings.
Um, and then on the other sidehere is the you can just see the
qualifications division on thebottom right, and then that Del
Sol building, and then are thesedouble wide trailers right here.
Um, that was internationalmanagement, Executive Strata
International, CMOInternational, and there's also
(54:42):
a bunch of little bungalowsaround here that had like Ron's
Tech Technical Complex, nosenior CS Int office and the
external communicationsdepartment that would do all the
mail packs, and the kid that ranall the travel, I think, was in
that department.
That's right.
And then you have these otherbuildings over here, and that's
the start of those are the one Ican't remember the name of those
(55:04):
buildings.
I think that was called theRanchos.
Was that the Ranchos or theRanchos were next above Del
Street?
SPEAKER_04 (55:09):
I thought that was
uh Rav.
Isn't that Rav right there?
SPEAKER_06 (55:13):
You're right.
That might be Rav and Music.
Yeah, that's what that is.
That's the Ron's audiovisual andthe music department.
SPEAKER_04 (55:20):
Ron's audiovisual
was on the upper level, and then
you went around down the backand it was audio.
SPEAKER_06 (55:25):
Yeah.
Okay, here we go.
Now we're getting into the goodstuff.
Okay, this big building in themiddle of the screen, that is in
this lake, that is the CineCastle, and that is a
cinematography division,soundstage, makeup, costumes,
pre-production, shootproduction, the video teams work
out if they have offices inthere, the video production uh
(55:47):
in charge.
Um did I miss anything?
Sets, props, uh uh the cameradepartment, the lighting
department, the grip department,um, the city secretary's offices
there.
And then you have the citylibrary, research, assembly,
yeah, uh the art department.
SPEAKER_04 (56:06):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
No, that's right.
SPEAKER_06 (56:08):
That's all in this
building.
And this building, I it may betrue.
I may have made it up, but thatbuilding had, I would always
tell people it had the largestsingle span sound stage in
California.
Okay, that this is just anotherangle of the birthing buildings.
This is good because now we'llgo to these other places.
Okay, so this is these are thebirthing buildings right here,
(56:30):
and their 400 Sea Org memberscan fit in each one of these.
Yeah.
So you can have 400 C orgmembers in this bottom unit, 400
in this unit, 400 in this unit,400 in this unit.
SPEAKER_04 (56:42):
And the reason so
many can fit in there is because
they had an exact allocation oflike complement, the staff
complement.
Yeah, the staff complement, buteven down to what personal, what
amount of belongings you couldbring into the space.
And they staff were made to getrid of everything.
SPEAKER_06 (56:57):
But the maximum of
that.
But the maximum complement ofSea Org members that needed to
fill all the posts that therewere at the end base was
estimated to be sixteen hundred, was the maximum possible.
If you just had every singlepost filled, it would be sixteen
hundred.
SPEAKER_01 (57:14):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (57:15):
When we worked there
in the beginning, there was
probably about eight hundredpeople there.
SPEAKER_01 (57:19):
Yeah, eight, nine
hundred.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (57:21):
Almost a thousand.
Yes.
When we left, it was probablylike four, four or five hundred?
Yeah, five, six hundred, maybe.
Um, it was hard to say becausesometimes like eighty people
would leave overnight.
Right.
They would just get rid ofeighty elderly people, and so it
would jump from like six hundredto five twenty in one day.
SPEAKER_01 (57:42):
Exactly.
SPEAKER_06 (57:42):
And then there were
always people leaving, but there
were not a lot of people comingthere over the years.
The res the qualifications gotstricter and stricter and
stricter, where basically everysingle new person David
Miscavige had to approve to comethere.
SPEAKER_01 (57:58):
Right.
SPEAKER_06 (57:58):
And he would reject
99%, or they would get rejected
on their way up to him.
SPEAKER_04 (58:04):
Yeah.
Or they would last a week.
SPEAKER_06 (58:06):
Or they would get
there and he would be like, I
gotta tell you this funny storybecause we said so.
There was this studio calledStudio Two.
Hopefully it's on here.
And Studio Two was at the top ofthe mountain below the the
security like lookout.
But it but you'd have to takelike 15 minutes to get up there.
(58:26):
You have to walk all the way tothe top of the property.
Anyway, there's a securityguard.
They used to do uh music mixdowns and final video mix downs
up there back in the old days inthe early 90s.
And um the security guard pickedup the phone, it rang.
He was in he was doing aninspection, he was just walking
through, like, who's up here, what's going on?
There was nobody there, or theywere sleeping or whatever.
The phone rings, he picks up thephone, and the person goes,
(58:49):
Who's this?
And the security guard goes,This is the baddest motherfucker
on the property.
And then David Miscavige is onthe other line, and David
Miscavige says, Well, that'spretty much impossible because
you're talking to the baddestass motherfucker on the
property.
Anyway.
SPEAKER_05 (59:06):
Oh my god.
SPEAKER_06 (59:07):
He was gone.
He left.
SPEAKER_05 (59:08):
Yeah, he left very,
very um within a half hour after
that.
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (59:13):
Okay.
So then you've got um thebirthing buildings are these big
buildings in the middle andthey're off to the center, uh,
left of center.
And then right up here, thislittle teeny building, that is
the uh dry cleaning laundrybuilding where basically
everybody who lives in here canwash their clothes over here, or
they get if they have thesefancy dancy shirts that you're
seeing in the videos, those gutsto be dry cleaned.
(59:36):
So they have a little drycleaning facility there.
And then this little teenybuilding off on the right side
in the middle, uh just left tocenter, that is the exercise
building.
And that's where David Miscavigehas like$50,000 worth of bikes.
And these bikes that weigh liketwo pounds, you could lift up
with your pinky, like a pedalbike.
(59:56):
And then there's a bunch offancy dancy electrical
equipment.
Uh treadmills, exercise bikes, weights, all the if you if you
if there's a fancy danceyworkout system, it's in this
building.
Yeah.
Like whatever the latest andgreatest.
This stuff was constantly beingrotated out, like every six
(01:00:16):
months to two years, be like, ohno, that's uh that's lame now.
They've got uh treadmills withscreens in them now.
Okay, so we've got to get thatone.
Then like two years later, ohno, no, they're treadmills with
bigger screens, they gotcomputers and you can do
courses.
Oh, we've got to get that onenow.
Then the next year, oh you getto get the Peloton.
You get to get to get it'salways up being upgraded.
(01:00:36):
And then there's also a sauna inthere.
SPEAKER_01 (01:00:40):
Okay.
SPEAKER_06 (01:00:41):
In the exercise
building.
Oh, yeah.
I remember for a l for like ahot New York minute, I used to
get the I had the privilege touse the building.
SPEAKER_04 (01:00:50):
Yeah, I never I
never went in there.
I I mean I went in there maybeonce or twice, actually.
I I do remember yes, that'sright.
But like that was a that was aspace restricted, like you 100%.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:01:02):
So for a hot minute
I got to go in there.
And then just a minute later, Idid not.
Um, but they have like littledrinking, you know, they got
like water things in a fridge.
SPEAKER_04 (01:01:14):
Oh, Mitch just said
our old friend Lisa Schroer is a
seamstress in the laundrybuilding after being let out of
the hole.
SPEAKER_03 (01:01:21):
Wow.
What the hell?
SPEAKER_04 (01:01:25):
Hey Mitch, thanks
for joining us.
SPEAKER_06 (01:01:27):
A seamstress.
SPEAKER_04 (01:01:29):
Ouch.
SPEAKER_06 (01:01:30):
She also was so mean
to the costumes girl.
So that costumes girls.
So that was like the karma traincoming back around.
SPEAKER_04 (01:01:39):
Yeah, it sure was.
SPEAKER_06 (01:01:40):
Um okay.
SPEAKER_04 (01:01:41):
And the crazy thing
is that um there was a time that
when Lisa was on the decks, andshe got a phone call, like say,
hey, come jump the fence rightnow.
We got a car waiting for youright now.
Yeah, it was Marty.
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (01:01:53):
We had because we
had her phone number.
Yep.
SPEAKER_04 (01:01:55):
Or somebody that she
hung up and refused.
She wanted to, but she was tooscared.
SPEAKER_06 (01:02:00):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (01:02:01):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:02:02):
Okay, so there's the
exercise building.
And then right off to the veryright side of the screen, you
can see those are the basketballand the tennis courts.
And we would literally, if wegot to use those, it was either
on Sea Org Day, which is inAugust, once a year.
SPEAKER_01 (01:02:20):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:02:21):
Or if there was
exercise time, we would get to
go down there for 30 minutes atthe end of the night, like at
10:30, where you'd muster forexercise, yeah, and then you'd
exercise for a half hour, oryou'd just walk back to your
office space if you had shit todo.
SPEAKER_04 (01:02:35):
Which I don't know
about you, but for me, I I was
at this property in 1991 until2005.
SPEAKER_06 (01:02:41):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (01:02:41):
And the only time I
attended exercise time was in 91
and 92, never after that.
SPEAKER_06 (01:02:47):
Yeah, that's pretty
much.
That was because that was a bigpush back down because there was
well, there was a lot of fattiesrolling around.
And David Miscavige.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (01:02:57):
There were some.
SPEAKER_06 (01:02:58):
Well, there was
enough that David Miscavige was
like, you all have to exerciseso that the fatties exercise.
It was basically like the onlyway these guys are going to get
skinny is if everybody has toexercise.
SPEAKER_01 (01:03:09):
Yeah, true.
SPEAKER_06 (01:03:10):
So it is what it is.
Um, okay, so those are thebasketball courts.
And then right up here in thetop left-hand corner, you can
barely see it, but there's ablue roof up there.
Those were the G units.
That's where Tom Cruise andNicole Kidman stayed.
That's where Mitch lived.
That's where any professionalsthat came to the property for
(01:03:31):
for all of the 90s.
Yeah, they all stayed in these.
They were really like, well, they were nice.
They weren't really, reallynice.
After we left, I was like, thosethings were shit.
SPEAKER_04 (01:03:42):
Our perspective on
them, they seemed nice compared
to where we were living.
SPEAKER_06 (01:03:46):
They had a
refrigerator.
Right.
They had a microwave.
SPEAKER_04 (01:03:48):
They had air
conditioning.
SPEAKER_06 (01:03:50):
They had air
conditioning.
They had furniture.
They didn't smell bad.
They didn't smell, they werecarpeted.
Right.
Woo!
SPEAKER_05 (01:03:58):
You fancy with your
carpet over there.
SPEAKER_06 (01:04:01):
Yeah.
Oh my goodness.
Just keep going.
This is going to take forever.
Oh, I'm pushing play on thescreen instead of on the screen.
Okay.
Then we've got.
Oh, and then there's a I thoughtthat was a there's a weird patch
of dirt over there.
I don't know what it is becauseI didn't remember there being
dirt over there.
This is just a top-down of theuh birthing buildings.
(01:04:22):
Um, that was gonna say, okay, sixteen hundred people.
There's never been sixteenhundred people.
Right.
And they build okay.
They used to lease all theseapartments.
They used to rent apartments intown.
And they had to rent for like athousand people.
Correct.
And somebody one day, nobodywanted to live on the property
(01:04:45):
because if you got to get offthe property, you could go to
Walmart, you could go to In NOut, you could go to the mall on
Sunday.
I mean at night.
Yeah.
At two o'clock in the morning.
SPEAKER_04 (01:04:53):
Well, yeah, but but
also factor in like barely any
of the staff had cars.
So you had to have a friend whohad a car.
But there was a little bit likeit wasn't that like cushy.
SPEAKER_06 (01:05:04):
It wasn't on the
property.
SPEAKER_04 (01:05:06):
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (01:05:06):
Okay.
And also, it was easier to blowto escape from birthing than it
was from the property becauseyou were just out in the wild.
You just walk out of theapartments before they had the
whole QM system, quartermastersthat would watch everybody.
You just skedaddle right out inthe middle of the night.
No one would know until the nextmorning.
Correct.
Okay.
So somebody some somewhere alongthe line said, Hey, listen,
(01:05:27):
we're paying a thousand bucks ora thousand people, we're paying
the hotels, whatever it is, fivehundred bucks an apartment or
eight hundred bucks an apartmentor a thousand bucks an
apartment, whatever it was.
SPEAKER_04 (01:05:37):
Yeah.
I mean, there were two apartmentcomplexes, and they own they
occupied majority, like a lot, hundreds and hundreds of
apartments.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:05:47):
Okay.
So they said, listen.
SPEAKER_04 (01:05:49):
Even with jamming in
multiple staff, like you know,
turning them into dorms, basically, and having multiple
couples in each room and soforth.
SPEAKER_06 (01:05:59):
Yes.
So in the early 90s, theybasically figured out, David
Miscavige figured out.
If we get a$10 million loan andwe build these things in the
next year, then we're going tosave all of that money that we'd
be paying on rents.
We would just basically servicethe loan.
SPEAKER_01 (01:06:19):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:06:20):
And then we wouldn't
have, and then we wouldn't have
anything after we paid off theloan.
So in the early 90s, he's like,we got to build these buildings.
SPEAKER_01 (01:06:27):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:06:28):
So they designed
them and they started building
them.
And then they finished them inthe late 2000s.
So they basically borrowed$10million.
SPEAKER_01 (01:06:37):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:06:38):
Spent way more than
$10 million on apartments for
the whole time.
SPEAKER_01 (01:06:42):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:06:43):
And then they sp
overspent these birthing
buildings by millions.
Because they were they hadsomebody messed up and forgot
that they needed airconditioners.
So the ceilings that were 12feet, they became nine feet.
Yeah.
Or they were 10 feet.
SPEAKER_04 (01:06:57):
And remember, for
the longest time, anytime
somebody got in trouble, theywould be sent to the the to that
construction site as thepunishment.
Like I had to take NormanStarkey down there one time
because he David Miscavige waslike, you're out, you're off us.
Go to the decks.
SPEAKER_06 (01:07:15):
But they were also
used for everything else as
well.
SPEAKER_04 (01:07:17):
Right.
SPEAKER_06 (01:07:17):
When the third floor
of the manufacturing building
was where all the cassettes thatwe produced got stuck.
And we produced 50,000 everyweek or 40,000 or 35,000.
But they sold like 1,500 a week.
So over the years, there weremillions and millions and
millions of extra cassettes thatwere never sold.
(01:07:38):
And when they cleared out, that's when they were all stored
in the entire floor of themanufacturing building was just
warehouses.
And when they made that thepublic dissemination
organization, PDO, that did allthe promo and the magazines for
all the orgs around the world, that got moved into Golden Air
Productions.
So there was a few people in LA,there was a few people in Int,
(01:07:59):
there was a few people in whatused to be called CMU Central
Marketing Unit.
Yes.
They basically got all thosepeople and they said European.
SPEAKER_04 (01:08:05):
Which then was later
called PDO Planetary
Dissemination Organization.
SPEAKER_06 (01:08:09):
Yeah.
And then that became a divisionof Golden Air Productions.
SPEAKER_04 (01:08:13):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:08:14):
But they basically
occupied that whole third floor.
Well, they had to put all thosemillions and millions of
cassettes somewhere.
And we couldn't send them to LAbecause then the LA people know
that we've been making millionsand millions of cassettes and
that nobody was buying them.
SPEAKER_04 (01:08:26):
Oopsies.
SPEAKER_06 (01:08:27):
And every time we
would make cassettes, we would
make 1,500 sets for the event tobe sold the night of the event.
SPEAKER_01 (01:08:35):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:08:35):
And then we just go
crazy and make 50,000 or
whatever it was.
SPEAKER_01 (01:08:39):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:08:40):
And we would never
even sell the 1,500.
No.
And so the 48,000 would just sitsomewhere every single lecture.
Anyway, we put them in thebirthing buildings when they
were just the shells and theywere just framed.
We moved all of those millionsof cassettes into those, into
that building.
SPEAKER_04 (01:08:59):
Oh damn, I didn't
realize that.
SPEAKER_06 (01:09:00):
And all of the
overstock projectors and systems
and all that.
We filled up like one of thesebuildings with all of that
stuff.
Wow.
And so then when it was like, because construction was stalled
for years and years at a time.
Yeah.
And it was enclosed.
So it's like, we'll put it inthere.
It could get dirty with mud andshit like that.
But it's like, yeah, we justbrushed that off.
(01:09:22):
Anyway.
Good times.
Oh my goodness.
SPEAKER_02 (01:09:25):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:09:26):
Okay.
Let's keep going.
There's that little uh laundrybuilding on the far left.
SPEAKER_01 (01:09:31):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:09:32):
These are the G
units we're coming up on.
Those are the G units.
Wow, Doctor's Superpan.
Take it easy there.
SPEAKER_01 (01:09:39):
Superpan.
SPEAKER_06 (01:09:40):
Okay, right there.
Oh, those are the G units.
SPEAKER_01 (01:09:43):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:09:43):
Right there.
These are the G units.
Okay, now here you go.
If you've ever heard of thisstory about when Nicole Kidman
and Tom Cruise came to stay atthe property and they're going
to walk in the wildflowers andall this other stuff.
It's a little bit misinterpretedby the media.
SPEAKER_01 (01:10:01):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:10:01):
To be fair, these
are the G units over on the far
left here.
Each one of these is a G unit.
I want to say Mitch was in thistop middle one.
If he's still in here, he cantell us which one he was in.
But I'm pretty sure he was inone of these G units.
SPEAKER_01 (01:10:17):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:10:17):
Um and then there's
a tennis court here.
And then this is a rose gardenwith all these flowers planted.
So somehow the um the they builtthis thing so Tom could w run
through the wildflowers withNicole.
That's just a flowery way ofspinning the story.
(01:10:39):
It was a rose garden.
And they weren't running throughthese.
Um there was a field plantedhere, but it's just grass, it's
just brush.
SPEAKER_04 (01:10:47):
Guitar commented,
has Zeno himself ever camped at
these those dorms or examinedthe property from above?
Like we're bet you he has.
SPEAKER_06 (01:10:55):
I bet you he has.
SPEAKER_04 (01:10:57):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:10:57):
Um, anyway.
SPEAKER_04 (01:10:59):
And and the G units
also were off limits for the
regular staff.
SPEAKER_06 (01:11:03):
Oh, yeah.
You could only go down there ifyou were a professional that was
hired to work at the property.
If you were Tom, uh Mr.
Risky Business, Tom Cruise, orNicole, or Kirsty, or the
writer, Danny Sherman Sherman,or one of those guys, you would
stay down here.
And then um, and the people thatdealt with them could also come
(01:11:23):
down here.
Like Lisa would come down hereto go meet with Mitch, and she
just hang out in the G unit withhim, eating quesadillas and
chips and salsa or whatever.
Like, you know, I gotta go meetwith Mitch.
SPEAKER_04 (01:11:35):
You don't lay out
snacks in front of a a base
Siorg member and not expect themto be eaten.
SPEAKER_06 (01:11:40):
Oh no, they're gonna
get snacked right up.
SPEAKER_04 (01:11:42):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:11:42):
Okay, now this.
Let's see what he shows.
Okay, good, right here.
This used to be a whole town.
There used to be like ten housesover here.
SPEAKER_04 (01:11:52):
Oh, by the way,
Mitch said, yes, I was in top
middle unit and then lowermiddle unit after Dave moved
out.
I got his big screen.
SPEAKER_06 (01:12:01):
See?
Look at me.
Look at me.
SPEAKER_04 (01:12:02):
There you go.
SPEAKER_06 (01:12:04):
Top middle unit.
Called it, baby.
I maybe went down there likefive times to see Mitch.
You give him a check or go tellhim something was happening.
SPEAKER_04 (01:12:14):
We used to go past
those units to get home when we
lived on Sublit Road.
SPEAKER_06 (01:12:18):
Yes, we would just
walk by them.
SPEAKER_04 (01:12:20):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:12:21):
Okay, so this big
area up here is where there was
a whole bunch of houses, andbase staff lived in these
houses.
And this was actually for a longtime, it was called Cinnytown
because the buildings wereabandoned.
No one owned them.
We didn't own them.
They'd just been abandoned.
SPEAKER_04 (01:12:38):
Yeah, I never went
up there.
SPEAKER_06 (01:12:40):
Ever.
So during the day when we wereworking in the cinematography
division, we would go up andrenovate these houses with the
sets and props guys and thenjust take over them.
And if they didn't have power,we just get an extension court
from one of the houses thatdidn't have it was literally an
abandoned town that we just tookover.
Wow.
And then eventually they startedlike getting the power turned on
(01:13:02):
and stuff like that.
But nobody owned these things.
It was kind of a weird thing.
And then eventually, I thinkthey just bought all the land up
here and then demolished themall.
SPEAKER_04 (01:13:12):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:13:12):
Because they didn't
want anybody looking into it.
SPEAKER_04 (01:13:14):
Being able to,
because you could see um into
building 50, which is when theybuilt building 50.
SPEAKER_06 (01:13:20):
That's right.
Because you could see thosehouses were above David
Miscavige's building, so youcould look into them from those
buildings.
Okay, so this building righthere on in the uh left uh right
of center here, this is DavidMiscavige's building 50.
This is an RTC building.
And below outside of that, there's private gardens, and
(01:13:44):
then there's like a walking pathand fountains and stuff down and
below it here.
And then there is a tunnel thatgoes.
Oh, that is the very beginning.
There is a tunnel that goes fromthis property under the highway
and comes out right here andgoes over by where the building
birthing buildings are.
And this is the way he canquickly get from here to the
(01:14:06):
exercise building.
SPEAKER_04 (01:14:07):
And that's the
second tunnel.
SPEAKER_06 (01:14:09):
That's right.
There is another tunnel, whichwe haven't covered, which we
will.
SPEAKER_04 (01:14:12):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:14:12):
Okay, so this is oh,
perfect.
There you go.
SPEAKER_01 (01:14:14):
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
SPEAKER_06 (01:14:16):
See, that's the I
want to say that's the tunnel.
It's either this one, oh no,those are cars.
Um oh, that's the highway.
Yeah, the tunnel is right here, right over here.
Goes right through the highwayand comes out down here.
Okay, that's David Miscavige'sbuilding 50.
And then this other building.
Oh my goodness.
This other building, I went offmy screen.
(01:14:37):
This is L.
Ron Hubbard's Bonnie View orbeautiful view.
I'll back up a little bit so youcan take it all in here.
Okay, this whole thing righthere is L.
Ron Hubbard's personal compound.
And this giant mansion at thetop of it is his house where all
his clothes are.
(01:14:57):
Um, where they lay his clothesout every night before the next
day.
They lay out his clothes for thenext day.
SPEAKER_04 (01:15:03):
Yeah.
Um and the and the buildingsbehind that are also part of
that property.
Like they're the ancillarybuildings that are part of that
property.
For example, there's a guesthouse.
Let's see if they see it.
SPEAKER_06 (01:15:14):
Let's see if we see
it.
Because there's guest house, pool house, theater, theater,
gun range.
Okay, yeah.
So this, I think, is I want tosay this is the pool house.
That's these are the guesthouses up here.
SPEAKER_01 (01:15:27):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:15:28):
This is all main
house here.
This is the tennis courts, andthen there's a gun range over
here.
And John Brusseau would reallybe amazing to say all these
things because he worked upthere, built all that.
Hey, we got another dog alert.
Hey, Max.
SPEAKER_07 (01:15:45):
Hey, Max.
Come over here.
SPEAKER_06 (01:15:48):
See if you can uh we
can do a max sighting here.
SPEAKER_04 (01:15:50):
Come here, buddy.
SPEAKER_06 (01:15:51):
Trying to get my
mouse back.
They they just come and thenthey go.
Here's Maxi Board.
SPEAKER_04 (01:15:56):
Oh, Bella's been in
here the whole time.
She's like, I'm still here.
Oh, there's two dogs.
Come over here.
Come over here, Bella.
See if we can see you.
unknown (01:16:02):
No?
SPEAKER_07 (01:16:03):
Oh, you can do the
same thing.
SPEAKER_01 (01:16:05):
There we go.
SPEAKER_06 (01:16:06):
Maxi Board.
Two dogs.
Okay.
Oh, yeah.
Claire's got a German Shepherd,and I got a butt.
Hey.
SPEAKER_01 (01:16:13):
Yay.
SPEAKER_06 (01:16:14):
Okay.
Out of that.
Enough of you guys.
Okay.
Um there we go.
Okay.
So yeah, this is all L.
Ron Hubbard's house that theybuilt so that it would be done
by 2007.
SPEAKER_01 (01:16:30):
Right.
SPEAKER_06 (01:16:31):
Because L.
Ron Hubbard said I'm going to beback in 21 years.
Yeah.
And so 1986, he went off toTarget 2.
He said he'd be back in 2007.
So this thing had to be built.
This whole area was just junk.
Just junk mountain.
And this whole thing was builtand ready for when he came back.
(01:16:54):
Guess what?
He never came back.
He's an OSHO.
What the hell?
We built all that.
This thing tens of millions ofdollars.
Tens of millions of dollars ofScientologists' money to build a
house for Lren Hubbard, who diedin 1986.
Oh, yeah, you can see thefountain there.
Oh, this is perfect.
So yeah, that's the house.
(01:17:15):
That's the main house.
That's the pool house.
And then that's like the gunshed.
And then there's a shootingrange here.
And this is where you put thetargets up.
Archery and guns.
Um only David Miscavige and TomCruise were allowed to use that.
SPEAKER_04 (01:17:32):
Yeah, in fact, in
fact, majority of the staff on
the property never even got togo into Bonnie View.
SPEAKER_06 (01:17:38):
No, no.
I mean, I remember when I went, besides Lisa Schroer and like
Henning, I was the only otherperson who'd ever been in Elvarn
Everett's house.
SPEAKER_01 (01:17:48):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:17:48):
When I went in
there.
And everybody from gold.
From gold.
SPEAKER_01 (01:17:51):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:17:51):
And David Miscavige
said, you could get Annie take
him up to the house and show himall the stuff.
SPEAKER_01 (01:17:57):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:17:57):
And then it was
like, you got to go in Eln
Everett's house.
Like, yeah, damn straight,Skippy.
There's all kinds of dumb shitup there.
Okay.
SPEAKER_04 (01:18:07):
Um Trevanon
commented, which we talked about
on Mormon stories.
Yeah.
So yeah, Hubbard is blown.
He's he's made us escape.
He's a no-show.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:18:18):
Okay.
Perfect.
Yeah.
So this building right here inthe middle of the screen.
Is that CMO gold?
Oh no, this is archive storage.
SPEAKER_04 (01:18:28):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:18:29):
This is where CMO
gold used to be in this grass.
It's gone.
SPEAKER_04 (01:18:33):
Let me see.
SPEAKER_06 (01:18:36):
It's gone.
SPEAKER_01 (01:18:39):
Yeah, there you go.
SPEAKER_06 (01:18:40):
They demolished it.
That was the what was it called?
The 119 house or the 40s house?
They were both CMO gold, but Idon't remember which was which.
SPEAKER_04 (01:18:49):
It was I know, but
they were right next to the CMO
gold.
119 and 40s house.
SPEAKER_06 (01:18:52):
Yeah, but they're
gone.
Yeah, they're gone.
They're the no house.
Anyway, so this is the 40shouse, 119 house, and the no
more house.
This is archive storage.
This big building in the middleof the screen here.
So this is where all of thefinancial documents of the
(01:19:14):
property are stored.
All the financial records, RTC,storage.
SPEAKER_04 (01:19:21):
Yeah, that's that's
also where they put Jupiter in
lockup back there.
There was kennels.
SPEAKER_06 (01:19:26):
Yes, there were
kennels behind here, and that's
where they moved Jupiter to.
SPEAKER_04 (01:19:30):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:19:30):
Um, our dog, our
Demonation.
And back.
SPEAKER_04 (01:19:34):
They also said Dave
eliminated CMO Gold building and
all.
SPEAKER_06 (01:19:38):
Nice.
Yeah.
Talk about a racing history.
Yeah.
Just get rid of it.
Bulldoze that shit.
Okay.
So this is also where, likeDavid Miscavige liked this
certain kind of water calledPenta.
SPEAKER_04 (01:19:52):
That's right.
Oh my God.
SPEAKER_06 (01:19:54):
Penta was the only
water that he would drink.
And at some point, Penta waslike, hey, guess what?
We're going out of business, orwe're not going to make this
anymore.
Whatever the company that madethe water was like, we're not
making penta anymore.
And so he bought all the pentawater.
They like went to the pentapeople and said, How many cases
of penta do you have palletslike penta do you have?
SPEAKER_03 (01:20:15):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:20:16):
And they were like,
Good, we'll take all of them.
SPEAKER_01 (01:20:18):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:20:18):
And they filled up
this building, shelves and
shelves of these palletshelvings with penta water.
So David Miscavige wouldn't runout of penta.
Right.
Okay.
Now this big building rightacross the way from it, that is
audio storage.
And in this building is whereall of L.
Ron Hubbard's uh audio mastersand film masters are being
(01:20:40):
recorded.
It's a climate-controlled.
We have the sliding like shelvesthat are on track systems, high
density shelving.
SPEAKER_01 (01:20:48):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:20:49):
That was all in
here.
Okay, and then this buildingright above that is the audio
building.
And that's where that lecturemix, the voiceover recordings,
all the translated recordlectures when all that would
take place in the audiobuilding.
SPEAKER_04 (01:21:04):
Yeah, Love Food
Kitchen commented.
Great idea putting archivalstorage right next to the
mountain to burn first during awildfire, which is exactly true.
That was um It was always aproblem.
It was always a problem becausethe fires would come over the
mountain.
We'd have to that we would setup a line of fire watch.
SPEAKER_06 (01:21:20):
Well, you can see
they made a f in this video,
there is a fresh fire break onthat bottom part of the mountain
there, right where it butts upagainst that grass in the
building.
SPEAKER_01 (01:21:30):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:21:31):
Um yeah, it's a good
idea.
Let's put all the documents andall the audio, all of L.
Ron Hubbard's most valuablearchive recordings.
Let's put those right in thefront line of fire.
SPEAKER_01 (01:21:42):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:21:43):
Good point, love
foo.
SPEAKER_01 (01:21:45):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:21:45):
There's a there's a
there's not a lot of uh the
there's a lot of that that goeson.
Okay, now over here.
Uh uh scrubbing is not my uhBuck Buddy asks, where do they
store all the lawsuit paperwork?
That's in is where Office ofSpecial Affairs.
SPEAKER_04 (01:22:04):
Exactly.
Los Angeles at the HollywoodGuarantee Building, not in not
at this property.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:22:10):
Let me see if
there's another.
I'll just name what thesebuildings are, and if there's a
better angle, we'll just saythem again.
Okay.
So that building, so you gotarchive storage on the bottom in
the center.
Yeah.
Then right off to the side, youhave uh audio storage and film
storage.
And then right off to that iswhere these are the ranchos.
So this is where Ron's technicalcompilations was the
(01:22:30):
translations and all the wherethey make the books and all
that.
And then next to that is DelSol, right there.
SPEAKER_04 (01:22:38):
And then wait, that
isn't that Arcomps?
SPEAKER_06 (01:22:41):
No, no, yeah, RCOMPS
is in the in the ranchos right
here.
SPEAKER_04 (01:22:44):
Yeah, I didn't it
didn't look like Del Sol.
That's all right.
SPEAKER_06 (01:22:46):
Maybe I'm because
it's the top.
SPEAKER_04 (01:22:48):
Oh, I see.
SPEAKER_06 (01:22:49):
And then below that
is uh the the hole, the the CMO
ant, those two big flatdouble-wide trails.
SPEAKER_04 (01:22:55):
So that's where the
hole is where I was when you had
escaped, and Del Sol is where Iran up at six o'clock in the
morning and hid in a closet tocall a cab.
Nice.
That's where that was.
And also, whatever, randomcomment.
This side of the property waswhere at nighttime you had to
drive carefully because thepossums would come out of
(01:23:16):
nowhere.
They were nasty creatures.
SPEAKER_06 (01:23:19):
Exciting.
Okay, this is the uh double widetrailers, the hole in the bottom
left.
And then in the middle here, these are music, uh audio, music
studio, upper RAV, lower RAV,this little teeny house in the
bottom center right here wherethe red thing is.
That I think that was oh gosh, what is that?
(01:23:45):
I think that was like a UPSbuilding for the studios.
SPEAKER_04 (01:23:48):
Okay.
Weren't there also um likerecording audio recording
chambers?
SPEAKER_06 (01:23:54):
Yeah, those are
right next to music, uh, the
music storage and the musicmusicians rehearsal space.
Right on the other side of thatwere the they're called the echo
chambers.
SPEAKER_04 (01:24:03):
The echo chambers,
that's right.
SPEAKER_06 (01:24:04):
And so we had these
microphones that were spinning
on poles, and they had like a uha pulley system that was powered
through mercury pools so thatthey could all continuously
spin.
And there were speakers all overthe room, and it was just a
giant box that would echo.
And when the mics would spin, itwould record that, and they
(01:24:26):
would use that, and they'd itwould go through a software
program, and you could simulatethe Shrine Auditorium, the flag
uh Fort Harrison Auditorium, uhthe Ruth Eckert Hall.
It was compute, it was basicallylike an analog slash software
computerized techie.
Built it.
Techie built the whole thing, designed and built the whole
(01:24:46):
thing.
SPEAKER_04 (01:24:47):
Wow.
SPEAKER_06 (01:24:47):
Anyway, it was
pretty cool.
Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_04 (01:24:50):
Um and of course
they got rid of old Gilman
House.
SPEAKER_06 (01:24:53):
Oh, yeah.
And so then off over here, yeah,on this side, where there's just
grass and stuff past theselittle buildings, outbuildings
here, um, where this grass is,that's where OGH, well, this big
mare area in the middle is theswamp area, which is where Mark
Yeager lived in a hut that hebuilt himself for like a year.
SPEAKER_04 (01:25:11):
Like he was
literally swamp man.
SPEAKER_06 (01:25:13):
Yeah, and then on
the other side of that was old
Gilman House and maintenance manhouse and the Weesee house, Gary
Weesee and his wife Carmen hadtheir own little bedroom, like a
just a one-room house with awith a bathroom.
SPEAKER_04 (01:25:27):
Oh, and there was
the Horridge House.
Did you say that?
SPEAKER_06 (01:25:29):
Well, that's why I
couldn't see the Horwich House.
I think that little teenybuilding on the top of this
thing, I think there's thedentist house and the Horowitch
house.
The trees have grown over, soI'm gonna see if he if he does a
top down, we'll see.
SPEAKER_04 (01:25:45):
Yeah for that other
building we were talking about.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:25:48):
Okay, good.
Now this yeah, so right there, right there.
So this is where I think thatwas the Rowan's house.
Yes, because they moved thedentist to Qual.
SPEAKER_04 (01:26:04):
That's right.
SPEAKER_06 (01:26:05):
The dentist used to
be there.
That's right.
And then this turned intoRowan's.
SPEAKER_04 (01:26:09):
And there also used
to be trailers already.
SPEAKER_06 (01:26:11):
Rowan was Elbron
Hubbard's granddaughter.
SPEAKER_04 (01:26:13):
Yeah, there used to
be trailers where those parking
spots are in that spot rightthere.
There were like three trailersbefore when we were there.
SPEAKER_06 (01:26:19):
Okay, now this is
Highway 79 that comes through
the main property right here.
And then this is the I guess wewould call this the South Gate.
Or what do they call this?
South gate.
Yeah.
And then this is where you couldgo across the property.
So you could drive from thisside of the property, you would
get security to open the gatefor you, and you could drive
(01:26:40):
across to this side of theproperty to open this gate for
you, and you'd come in.
SPEAKER_04 (01:26:43):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:26:43):
And so what people
would do, like Marty Rathbun.
SPEAKER_04 (01:26:46):
That's that north
side gate, that that gate right
there that you're pointing to,that is the gate that Marty
escaped.
SPEAKER_06 (01:26:52):
Yeah.
So he just drove up to this gateon his motorcycle and said,
Going across.
If you had a motorcycle and thetunnel was dangerous, there was
people walking through it a lot.
SPEAKER_04 (01:27:02):
So if you went
through the tunnel, especially
if you were an executive, theywere more likely to let allow
you to.
SPEAKER_06 (01:27:08):
Because it's faster.
SPEAKER_04 (01:27:09):
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (01:27:10):
So there were a few
people that would always use the
gates, and it was most peoplethat just use the tunnels.
SPEAKER_04 (01:27:16):
Yeah.
I don't know.
I didn't personally like it usedto be in the early 90s, you had
to cross the highway.
SPEAKER_06 (01:27:21):
Yes, there was no
tunnels.
There were no tunnels.
SPEAKER_04 (01:27:24):
With the traffic
coming really.
SPEAKER_06 (01:27:26):
Yeah, there's no
stop signs or anything.
So you're basically crossing adual-lane highway.
And there's Saboba Indian Casinois right down the down the road
from this.
And so everybody coming from the10 freeway and the 60, they're
all jamming through here to hitthe the casino.
SPEAKER_04 (01:27:42):
There are a couple
of times when I had when I was a
newer motorcycle rider, and itwould I would stall out and be
like, I gotta get over quick.
SPEAKER_06 (01:27:50):
Okay, so this
building in the bottom here in
the bottom left-hand corner, that's the garage.
That's the estates building.
SPEAKER_01 (01:27:55):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:27:56):
And then so you have
that.
Um, oh, yeah.
So Marty, Marty just went hereand said, Hey, uh, where is it?
Yeah, right there.
You just drove up here and said,Hey, going across, and then they
opened the gate, and theninstead of going to the other
side of the property, you justdrove down the highway and left.
SPEAKER_01 (01:28:11):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:28:12):
Okay.
And that's what I did too, but Ididn't have to go through a
gate.
Okay.
Now here is the Cine Castle.
And this is where OGH in theright hand side, this is where
OGH and maintenance man, that'swhere all this stuff used to be.
You can see where all the pathsand stuff used to be that went
to all of it, and they justbulldozed it.
Okay, now this is the CineCastle.
(01:28:33):
So in this little teeny part ofthe bottom right-hand side of
the building, that's Studio B,and that's like just a little
television studio.
And then there's a loading dockhere where the equipment and
stuff can pull up and you canunload it.
It's like a loading dock, andthen you can bring it inside
this big door here where the uhred cursor is.
(01:28:55):
And then this whole area here islike parking for equipment and
trailers and storage orwhatever.
And then in the back side here, you have sets and props, and
then this is where the gripdepartment and the props
department are on this in thisbig wing here.
SPEAKER_03 (01:29:12):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:29:13):
And then this is
where the shoot department, the
logistics department, and thenwe'll see if we can get around
to the other side.
SPEAKER_04 (01:29:19):
Oh, and by the way,
we should comment because we did
an escape video on when wehelped somebody break out from
here.
And that wall right here.
SPEAKER_06 (01:29:25):
This is where she
jumped over and ran to the
highway and we scooped.
SPEAKER_04 (01:29:28):
And we had a car
waiting there.
SPEAKER_06 (01:29:29):
That's true.
This is a good angle of that.
SPEAKER_04 (01:29:31):
It is.
SPEAKER_06 (01:29:31):
Okay, so this right
here is studio B.
This is logistics and uh shootcrew offices, and then this
entire thing here, this biggiant space, that is the studio
proper.
And then the everything aroundthe studio is support for sets,
(01:29:52):
props, makeup, costume, everything that goes into
shooting anything in herehappens on the out on the
perimeter of the building, andout in the back.
Here we used to call this theoutback steakhouse.
SPEAKER_02 (01:30:02):
Okay.
SPEAKER_06 (01:30:02):
This out back here
is where they built all the sets
and props.
And out back of that is wherethey would sometimes build stuff
outside.
If we didn't have any room inthe shop and we had to assemble
it outside, we did it out herein the outback steakhouse.
And then there's a little grassyarea here.
But this is this fence that goesaround the castle, the literally
(01:30:23):
the castle wall is the perimeterof the property.
This entire wall system andfence system has barbed the
ultra barrier barbed wire andmicrophones and sensors and
security lights that light uplike a football stadium when it
when they go off.
SPEAKER_01 (01:30:40):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:30:41):
This is the far
outside of the property.
This is one of the onlybuildings on the entire property
that is all at the perimeter.
So you can literally be in youroffice and five minutes later,
you can be out of the property.
There's no other buildings likethis because there's a mountain
behind the the entire other sideof the property.
(01:31:02):
And then on where all thebuildings are in the middle, the
property goes acres and acresaround those buildings.
This is the only place whereyou're just out and you're gone.
SPEAKER_04 (01:31:12):
But there's not an
exit right there, though.
SPEAKER_06 (01:31:14):
It's not an exit,
but I'm you can climb over.
You can take a ladder from setsand props.
It's just full of ladder.
SPEAKER_04 (01:31:19):
There are only the
the four gates that we showed on
the north side of the propertyand the south side on each end.
Those are the entrance andexits.
Oh, and there's a gate down atthe by the G units.
Look at that.
SPEAKER_06 (01:31:32):
Okay.
Oh, there you go.
This is the grip truck with allthe Cine equipment.
This is a camera car.
This is Cine trailers for gear.
This looks like they've got somesort of tents out here or some
kind of storage stuff thatdidn't used to be here.
I don't remember that.
Um, I don't remember there beinganything out here.
SPEAKER_01 (01:31:52):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:31:53):
Maybe there was,
maybe there wasn't.
I don't remember this.
Okay, there's also cameras allaround this roof.
You can see there's a camerathing there, there's camera
things here, there's all sortsof stuff.
There's a little satellite uhrig that I put up there for
DirecTV.
Um there's uh seriously, that isexactly what that is.
I put it there, I built it.
(01:32:15):
Um, this is where costumes isover here.
This is the art department overhere.
This is makeup here.
This is the city library, thiswhole thing up here.
It's the second floor cinelibrary, and this is the talent
lounge.
And then these are all like thekind of executive offices, the
cine exec and the Esto and thesome of the shoe crew people,
(01:32:39):
camera, all that, conferencerooms.
It's all over here.
SPEAKER_01 (01:32:42):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:32:43):
Okay, jam.
Let's go.
Um, yeah, see, there's OutbackSteakhouse.
This is Outback Steakhouse.
SPEAKER_04 (01:32:49):
I did not know you
guys called it that.
SPEAKER_06 (01:32:51):
Yeah, there is uh
there's a hole for costumes is
in this area over here, andthere's a a whole steam
generation system here thatmakes uh makes all the steam to
run all their dry cleaningmachines and they have ironing
things.
It's all steam, steam, steam,steam.
And I hook the hose up to thislittle pig here, and I could
(01:33:11):
just drive my bike right inhere, and I could steam clean my
motorcycles with uh with thisone.
I just had it just tapped rightinto the main tank.
And I'm just like, shh, do it.
It was a test, it was to test tomake sure the system was
working.
SPEAKER_04 (01:33:25):
Of course, of
course.
SPEAKER_06 (01:33:26):
So I was testing it.
I was just spraying down my bikewith the high pressure steam.
SPEAKER_04 (01:33:30):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:33:30):
Yeah.
Perks of the job.
Okay, then this.
Oh this right here, poof.
This is where Valerie Haney gotinto a car.
She worked in the talentdepartment, is right in here.
Is in this second floor of thisbuilt little uh section of the
(01:33:50):
building right here.
And so she would help talent gothrough costumes, makeup, and
all that good stuff.
And then um she a talent wouldcome to the property, like
outside actors would we wouldhire them to film here.
Yeah, and so they would parkhere in these parking spots, and
then so when they were shooting, she went out and climbed into
(01:34:11):
this person's trunk.
And then when they were doneshooting for the day, they left
and got in their car and droveoff, and they drove out that
gate that we talked about, thesouth south gate.
Yep.
Um, and poof, gone forever.
SPEAKER_04 (01:34:23):
Yeah, which it's I
mean, that was amazing that she
succeeded in that escape.
SPEAKER_06 (01:34:28):
Okay, so now this is
a good thing to show right here.
So this gosh darn it.
This is this is the river.
This is a riverbed right here.
Okay.
This whole thing is a giantwash.
And when it floods, this wholething fills up.
And actually, in this picture, there's a ton of water in there.
(01:34:50):
There is.
I don't think I ever saw thatmuch water in there except when
there was a flood.
SPEAKER_01 (01:34:56):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:34:56):
It was usually a dry
riverbed.
Okay, but now so the citycouncil is right below the
screen here.
So I just want to make sure youunderstand this.
So if you do jump over thisfence and set off these alarms,
and you don't go to the highwayand get a ride, if you're just
trying to make a break for it,if you go on the highway, they
can just drive down the highwayand find you.
SPEAKER_01 (01:35:15):
Right.
SPEAKER_06 (01:35:16):
So a lot of people
what they would do is they jump
over on the wild side here, andnow you've got to get through
all this through the river andget to a road that's on the
other side of the river to getout of the property.
SPEAKER_04 (01:35:30):
Yeah, and so factor
in uh when staff used chose this
escape route, it would be atnighttime.
SPEAKER_06 (01:35:38):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (01:35:38):
For which security
had night vision goggles.
SPEAKER_06 (01:35:41):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (01:35:42):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:35:43):
Okay.
So you basically have to getthis is a lot.
That's like several hundredyards, maybe five hundred yards
to get from the cine castle toget to the river.
unknown (01:35:55):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (01:35:55):
Okay.
And and by the way, too, if ifthe um fence shaker alarms were
set off, yeah, they wouldtrigger the intruder drill.
Yeah.
So all the staff would have toclose all the blinds, shelter in
place.
SPEAKER_06 (01:36:09):
Yeah.
Or the blow drill or thesecurity drill or the whichever
one it was.
SPEAKER_04 (01:36:13):
Yeah.
But th there was several timesthat they called the intruder
drill, and it was actuallysomebody jumping out.
SPEAKER_06 (01:36:19):
Yes.
SPEAKER_04 (01:36:20):
Not the other way
around.
SPEAKER_06 (01:36:21):
Okay, now if you've
read my book, there's a whole
story about how we had to cleanout these aeration ponds.
These are the aeration ponds.
There's two.
There's one here, which it lookslike they've let it go dormant,
and there's one here.
And those things, when they dryup, they basically take all the
poo and septic from the entireproperty and they pump it out to
(01:36:43):
here and they aerate it and theymix it.
And the aeration sort of filtersthe water and the solids float
to the bottom.
And then every once in a whilethey let it go dry, and you got
to dig all the poo, all theeverything that went to the
bottom, you gotta dig that out.
SPEAKER_01 (01:37:00):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:37:00):
They could do that
with a dozer in a day or two.
SPEAKER_01 (01:37:03):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:37:03):
But David Miscavige
much preferred having the staff
do it and take four weeks and doit by hand with like bucket
brigade.
SPEAKER_04 (01:37:10):
Because it was a
quote, too gruesome punishment,
unquote.
SPEAKER_06 (01:37:14):
Okay, we gotta jam
through the rest of this because
we're like at a buck forty.
SPEAKER_04 (01:37:17):
Oh boy.
SPEAKER_06 (01:37:18):
So that's the river.
Okay, good.
It's going back.
Okay, so let's see if we coveranything new.
Now we can just let it rut.
That's garage in the middle.
That's MCI.
Oh, we can show everybody wherewe mustered.
So this is MCI right here.
Let's see how if we go.
Let's go to the lake on theright.
SPEAKER_04 (01:37:34):
That's where you'd
get thrown overboard.
SPEAKER_06 (01:37:36):
That's where you get
thrown overboard.
What did they say?
May your sins be cast to thesea.
SPEAKER_04 (01:37:40):
We commit you your
sins to the waves.
May you arise a better Thetan.
SPEAKER_06 (01:37:46):
Yeah.
Anyway, um, fun stuff.
Um down here where my cursor is.
So this building is whereeverybody would eat, and this is
where gold, golden eraproductions, this is where all
300 gold staff would line up formuster.
And um it wasn't in theafternoon, it was lunch and
dinner, and well, at least forlunchtime, the sun was directly
(01:38:09):
overhead.
And you would cook.
SPEAKER_04 (01:38:11):
Oh hey, look to the
right of there.
You see that tree on the the theroad in between the lake and
MCI?
SPEAKER_06 (01:38:18):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (01:38:18):
That's where I broke
my leg.
No, no, not there.
Further out.
SPEAKER_06 (01:38:22):
Yeah, further out.
It's not there.
It doesn't exist.
We didn't go show you, right?
See if I don't know if you cansee it.
SPEAKER_04 (01:38:31):
I just saw it.
SPEAKER_06 (01:38:31):
I know.
I'm babe.
SPEAKER_04 (01:38:34):
Okay.
SPEAKER_06 (01:38:35):
We passed that.
It's by the city castle whereyou broke your leg.
SPEAKER_04 (01:38:38):
No, it was not.
It was uh on the curve headingtoward the gym.
I know, it was my leg thatbroke.
SPEAKER_06 (01:38:44):
Oh, I didn't never
know it was over there.
I thought it was over by theCine Castle Road where the road
the garage road from the garageintersects.
SPEAKER_04 (01:38:50):
No.
SPEAKER_06 (01:38:50):
Oh, well golly gee,
Willowker's bad man.
SPEAKER_04 (01:38:52):
Learn something new
every day.
SPEAKER_06 (01:38:53):
Yeah, I guess so.
Anyway, this is the road.
Oh, so this road right here.
Yes.
SPEAKER_04 (01:38:59):
Yes, that tree right
there.
That it's uh yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:39:01):
That's where the dog
ran out.
SPEAKER_04 (01:39:03):
Yeah.
unknown (01:39:03):
Oh.
SPEAKER_04 (01:39:04):
Not no, not right
there, to the right of that.
SPEAKER_06 (01:39:06):
Okay.
Yeah, awesome.
SPEAKER_04 (01:39:07):
Either way.
SPEAKER_06 (01:39:08):
Okay, so this is the
garage.
I mean, this is the um Cine Gym.
These are the lodges.
This is the lower lodge.
This is the upper lodge.
This is where Tom Cruise andDavid Miscavige used to watch
movies when in the 90s when TomCruise came to the property
because Elren Hubbard's mansionwasn't built yet with all the
theater and everything they haveup there.
Um, okay, it's just basicallyanother look.
(01:39:30):
You can see the Star ofCalifornia on the left.
You see manufacturing right inthe center there.
Oh, here's a good view of theClipper ship.
There's the pool.
Oh, this is a perfect shot.
So this is the pool where in mybook there was a time when the
lake was everybody who could getthrown in the lake would get it
thrown overboard in the lake.
They would get sick.
So they had to stop throwingpeople in the lake.
(01:39:52):
So David Miscavige was like, youknow, I have a good idea.
Everybody, like he called us allin at like three o'clock in the
morning one night.
Everybody was already gone totheir apartments or to birthing
or wherever.
It was like, get everybody backin.
SPEAKER_01 (01:40:04):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:40:05):
And all the
executives and people that were
in the meetings with him all daylong, we all had to come back to
the property and we all had tomeet up here.
And we it was, it was I rememberit like it was yesterday.
It was night, it was threeo'clock in the morning, and the
pool is heated and it was cold.
It's in the middle of thedesert, so there was like fog
coming off the pool.
(01:40:26):
And we're all waiting andwaiting and waiting.
And basically, once everybodygot there, it took like an hour
for everybody to get there.
So from like three o'clock to4:30, we were just waiting
around.
SPEAKER_04 (01:40:37):
Yeah, I'm trying to
remember if I was there.
I'm pretty sure I was there.
SPEAKER_06 (01:40:41):
I don't remember if
you were there.
I don't think you were therebecause you weren't in the
meetings with him that day.
Yeah.
I don't think you were, becauseI would have remembered getting
thrown in the pool with youwatching.
SPEAKER_04 (01:40:52):
True.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:40:53):
I don't remember
that.
I would remember.
SPEAKER_04 (01:40:55):
I definitely
remember you getting the call
and having to go back in.
SPEAKER_06 (01:40:59):
Yes.
SPEAKER_04 (01:40:59):
I absolutely
remember that.
SPEAKER_06 (01:41:01):
So we all line up
around this pool and then we
wait for like an hour and a halffor everybody to show up.
And then after everybody gotthere, he made us wait like
another 20 minutes.
Of course.
And he came strolling down in arobe, like a night robe and
slippers.
SPEAKER_01 (01:41:17):
Right.
SPEAKER_06 (01:41:17):
With his coffee or
his tea or whatever the fuck he
drank or his bourbon or whiskeyor whatever the hell he had.
SPEAKER_04 (01:41:22):
Yeah, whatever was
in there.
SPEAKER_06 (01:41:23):
And then he gave us,
he ripped us a new one.
You guys suck.
We met all day, and then you alljust went home.
You didn't do anything we talkedabout all day.
So we were literally in meetingsuntil like 11 o'clock from like
one o'clock or maybe 12 30 or 1o'clock or whatever.
SPEAKER_01 (01:41:40):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:41:40):
And then when we
went back to our spaces, we were
like, well, it's it's fucking 1230.
Like there's we're not going todo anything.
All our people all went home.
Everybody that worked, all theworkers went home.
So there's nothing we can do.
They all left.
Right.
So it's like, screw it, let'sjust go home.
We'll get we'll hit the deckrunning first thing in the
morning.
Because now we're not in ameeting with him until 4 a.m.
(01:42:01):
So it's like we should go home.
SPEAKER_01 (01:42:02):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:42:02):
We're done.
He just cut us loose.
Anyway, so everybody gets home.
By the time everybody gets home,he's like, hey, where the where
I went down to your works.
There was nobody there.
You're supposed to be getting myorders done, but I think all the
orders done.
SPEAKER_04 (01:42:13):
In the meetings all
day long.
SPEAKER_06 (01:42:15):
So then we all came
back.
So then he made us wait a bunchlonger.
So probably about four-ish.
SPEAKER_04 (01:42:19):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:42:20):
He's like four, four
thirty.
He's like, rips us a new one,and then he just says, Okay, you
jump in the pool.
And you had to walk down thewalk the diving board, like
walking the plank, and then justjump in the pool.
The one thing I remember, Ithink I left this in the book,
but there was this gal named RayMueller.
SPEAKER_04 (01:42:37):
You did leave this
in the book.
SPEAKER_06 (01:42:38):
And she's like 350
pounds.
SPEAKER_04 (01:42:40):
And she was also an
elderly woman.
SPEAKER_06 (01:42:43):
She was like in her
60s at least.
Right.
And he made her walk the thing.
And when she got almost to theend, the the diving board was
almost touching the water.
And people were like, You can'tjump now.
If you jump off, that thing'sgoing to hit you in your
backside and you're going to getinjured.
SPEAKER_01 (01:43:03):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:43:03):
So then she had to
turn around on the diving board
while it was bent over and walkback up.
And then after that, we werelike, there's no way he's going
to make her jump in.
And he's like, You just jump, just walk in from the side.
And he made her go to the sideof the pool and just walk walk
in.
And we were just like, everybodythere was like, dude, that is
some dastardly deeds you'redoing right now, dude.
(01:43:25):
Like, you're on another level ofinsanity.
SPEAKER_01 (01:43:28):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:43:28):
This poor woman
also, she had nothing to do with
anything.
SPEAKER_04 (01:43:32):
No.
SPEAKER_06 (01:43:32):
I don't even
remember what her job was.
She was like an evaluable room.
SPEAKER_04 (01:43:35):
She was like a
secretary or something.
SPEAKER_06 (01:43:37):
Yeah, she was like,
she did pay, she pushed papers.
SPEAKER_04 (01:43:39):
Yeah.
It was crazy.
SPEAKER_06 (01:43:41):
Anyway, so that
happened there in that pool.
That's the diving board thatbent into the water right there
where the uh cursor is.
And then that's the lower villawhere uh David Miscavige's room
was, and Shelly's room was, andMark Ingber's room was, and um
Guillaume Lesev and Mark Yeager, and maybe a few other their
spouses, or something like that.
And then this is the middlevilla and then the upper villa.
SPEAKER_01 (01:44:02):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:44:02):
Okay, we really do
have to.
I keep saying we have to jam,but I know.
Dave is 65 now, somebody says.
SPEAKER_01 (01:44:08):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:44:08):
I believe it.
Yeah, Dave is 65.
He's a big POS.
Dave is inhumane.
SPEAKER_01 (01:44:14):
Yes, for sure.
SPEAKER_06 (01:44:15):
Okay, now that's
building 50 right there.
SPEAKER_01 (01:44:17):
Oh yep.
SPEAKER_03 (01:44:18):
Gosh darn it, man.
SPEAKER_06 (01:44:20):
I'm just I I gotta
move to go to move to do.
Okay, so this is building 50.
This is David Miscavige'spersonal building.
And for years and years andyears, it took millions of
dollars to build, and theyoverran it and they ripped
everything out.
SPEAKER_04 (01:44:37):
This one was 40
million.
SPEAKER_06 (01:44:38):
40 million in the
end to build this building.
SPEAKER_04 (01:44:40):
And Dave's wing,
which is also where Shelly
worked, is on the right handside on the second floor.
Yeah, right now the wholesection there.
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:44:48):
Like basically this
whole thing here is Dave's
domain.
SPEAKER_01 (01:44:51):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:44:52):
And then this is all
RTC offices and everything.
And in the middle is a giantconference facility where he
would drag us all up there.
SPEAKER_04 (01:45:00):
Oh, and by the way,
yeah, and on the left hand side
on the second floor, that's no,no, not that building.
This side.
Yeah, there you go.
That is where Tom Cruise had hisoffice when Tommy Davis, who was
a Sea Org member at the time, was working for Tom Cruise as
his assistant for several years.
SPEAKER_02 (01:45:16):
Yes.
SPEAKER_04 (01:45:17):
When Tom Cruise
visited this property, that's
where he had.
That's those were his offices.
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (01:45:22):
And then this is all
vehicle storage over here and
personal storage.
So this is where he's got allthe other 10 ultralight pedal
bikes and motorcycles and HarleyDavidson's and Acura's and
Lexus's and Jeeps and Miattasand all that is all over here.
SPEAKER_01 (01:45:40):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:45:41):
BMWs.
Okay.
Play.
Holy moly, this is a marathon.
SPEAKER_04 (01:45:47):
I know this is a
good video, though.
SPEAKER_06 (01:45:49):
But this is good.
We're being thorough.
SPEAKER_04 (01:45:51):
Yep, for sure.
SPEAKER_06 (01:45:52):
This is where
Cinetown used to be.
SPEAKER_04 (01:45:54):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:45:56):
Okay.
Oh, and this is where the G'sare over there on that side.
Get off of here, loopity loop.
Does it oh yeah, does it showsthis is a I think that's a
switchyard building down therewhere the power from comes in
from Edison and it transforms itfor the entire property called
the 12 KV system.
(01:46:19):
Because there's 12,000kilovolts.
Okay, now you can see this isGoldenera Golf Course again.
And this is where the sublethouses used to be.
So right here.
SPEAKER_04 (01:46:29):
Wow, they really
just got rid of all of them.
SPEAKER_06 (01:46:32):
Yeah.
So right here is where that rosegarden and the by the G units
was.
And then you'd walk over here, and then this was a road, like a
paved road.
SPEAKER_04 (01:46:43):
Oh, yeah.
And where that little inlet isis where you'd pull into the
road, right?
You could either go right orleft.
SPEAKER_06 (01:46:48):
That's right.
You'd go like this.
You go, you go to here, and thenyou'd go down here and to here.
SPEAKER_01 (01:46:53):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:46:53):
And there was like a
little turnaround here.
Yes.
These were all houses.
And this is called Sublit Road.
Well, they bought every singlehouse, demolished it, and then
demolished the road.
So nobody could drive in hereand spy on uh Mr.
Risky Business if he was overhere.
Okay, keep going.
(01:47:14):
So this is all golden era golfcourse.
So this is the perimeter of thegold base, and this is where the
golf course starts.
And then this is the riverthat's right behind it.
I think it's the San YacintoRiver.
That's what this is right here.
And then this on the other sideis Toll's Dairy.
You see all those fields upthere.
Those be cows.
(01:47:34):
And this would make all theflies in the world for them to
fly over here and try to eatyour sandwich.
Okay.
This is a golden arrow golfcourse.
This right line.
Yes.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (01:47:49):
Dave's dogs attacked
a number of staff.
SPEAKER_07 (01:47:52):
Yeah, Buster.
SPEAKER_04 (01:47:53):
Yeah, well, I think
the beagles.
I think he's talking about theBeagles.
SPEAKER_06 (01:47:56):
Yeah, but Buster,
Buster ate a lot of people.
SPEAKER_01 (01:47:59):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:47:59):
If he was a public
dog, he would have been pit put
down like 10 times.
SPEAKER_01 (01:48:04):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:48:04):
Because he bit that
many people.
SPEAKER_01 (01:48:06):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:48:07):
Okay.
This is the perimeter of theproperty where this kind of
where you see where this lake ison the golf course.
You see all the greens, and thenyou see it changes, the terrain
changes.
This is the perimeter of thegold base.
Is that it?
Yeah, it really is.
This is the basketball courts.
That's what this is right here.
Right?
(01:48:27):
This is tennis courts.
Oh, volleyball courts.
SPEAKER_04 (01:48:31):
Yeah, so they are
volleyball courts.
SPEAKER_06 (01:48:33):
No, no, they had
volleyball courts.
Yeah, they did.
We just never played on them.
SPEAKER_01 (01:48:36):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:48:37):
And then this was a
soccer field, and this was a
soccer field.
SPEAKER_01 (01:48:39):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:48:40):
Oh, this was a
baseball field, this was a
soccer pitch.
And then, oh, we might even getto see the running program.
So again, this river was alwaysdry.
SPEAKER_02 (01:48:51):
Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_06 (01:48:53):
Um, when we were
there, it was mostly dry, unless
it was flooding.
Okay, now this is the lake.
Now, remember when Crystal wasrunning and biking or whatever
people were doing?
This is where, this is wherethat motorcycle drove by.
Danny drove by on hismotorcycle.
This is all a path that connectsthe soccer field and the
baseball field and thebasketball courts.
So you can, it's called a parcourse.
(01:49:15):
And you run along this thing andit has all these stations.
You go, do 10 pull-ups.
And then you go here and you go,do 10 push-ups.
And then you can do, oh, here'sa balance beam.
Well up across this.
And you basically have all theselittle stations.
And if you did this whole thingand you did all the stations,
well, you're pretty much a rockstar.
I think I did it twice the wholetime we worked there.
SPEAKER_04 (01:49:37):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:49:37):
Yep.
Okay.
This is the lake where we wouldget thrown in the lake when you
we get thrown overboard.
And they would there's anisland, there's like a little
brick stone veneer bridge thatleads from the land out to this
big tree island.
And then you'd walk out thereand then they'd say, We commit
your sins to the waves, and mayyou arise a better fate.
And yeah, and then you it waslike two feet of water and four
(01:50:00):
feet of mud.
And you're not allowed to jumpin, they have to push you in.
They have to push you in, andand you they'll let you take
your shoes off.
SPEAKER_04 (01:50:06):
No, they don't.
SPEAKER_06 (01:50:07):
Oh they did not.
SPEAKER_04 (01:50:09):
Not not in my case.
SPEAKER_06 (01:50:10):
Oh, Jesus.
SPEAKER_04 (01:50:11):
Yeah, I I was thrown
overboard.
SPEAKER_06 (01:50:13):
Maybe I was just
taking them off.
Or when we when I'd go downthere, I wouldn't wear my shoes.
SPEAKER_04 (01:50:16):
I would just Oh,
see, you're you're uh just a
rebel.
SPEAKER_06 (01:50:20):
Yeah, okay.
So then again, here this is uhmanufacturing building, this
building in the bottom, and thenthat's the garage the garage.
Okay, um, let's go.
Come on, video play.
Oh, I have it on half speed.
Holy moly.
SPEAKER_04 (01:50:35):
I was like, now it's
going to be somebody said as a
Minnesotan, I can safely saythat as a pond, not a lake.
True.
That's true.
SPEAKER_06 (01:50:43):
Yeah, we called it
the lake.
It was the biggest pond we had,so it had to be delineated.
Okay, now this is the property.
This is where the lookout.
I don't know if we'll be able tosee that in this person's video.
SPEAKER_04 (01:50:54):
I think this is a
different perspective.
SPEAKER_06 (01:50:57):
But either way.
But the amount, but the propertygoes all the way up to the top
of this mountain, to the ridgeof this mountain.
SPEAKER_04 (01:51:01):
Right.
SPEAKER_06 (01:51:02):
So technically, this
is the property.
SPEAKER_04 (01:51:05):
This is where you
retrieved Harry the tarantula
when you were riding up here, right?
SPEAKER_06 (01:51:09):
Yeah, this is.
I think we didn't I think wedidn't see um maybe it's at the
top here.
I'm just waiting to see if wesee it.
Another angle of the dangle.
Okay.
SPEAKER_04 (01:51:23):
Yeah, and it's uh
anyway.
You can see how isolated thisproperty is.
And it's 500 acres, right?
SPEAKER_06 (01:51:33):
Here's the shot I
was looking for.
SPEAKER_04 (01:51:34):
Okay.
SPEAKER_06 (01:51:34):
So this is
Sanderson, I think, right here.
And then the property is overhere.
So once you get across theriver, you still have to get
over to here to this developmentor get over to this main road
over here.
SPEAKER_04 (01:51:46):
Yeah, and where
where was it that they ran you
off the road?
SPEAKER_06 (01:51:49):
This is stage after
the bridge.
This is I'm trying to see whatuh oh yeah, no, this is the
highway.
This is where I went.
SPEAKER_01 (01:51:55):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:51:56):
So yeah, so I went
down this highway right here.
SPEAKER_01 (01:51:59):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:52:00):
So this is where
like um hillslide used to be.
Hillside.
Hillside the apartments thatused to be here.
Right.
They were called Hillside.
We used to call them Hillslide.
And then there was another thingover here.
I think there was another placethat people used to live in over
here.
SPEAKER_03 (01:52:14):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:52:14):
But this is where I
drove down the road, and right
when I got across the bridgehere, this is where the road
kind of the shoulder ends rightin here, and it just turns into
a fence or whatever.
And this is where they jammed meoff the road.
Right here is where they ran meoff the road.
SPEAKER_04 (01:52:33):
So you hadn't even
made it to town yet.
SPEAKER_06 (01:52:35):
No, I was literally
just on the other side of the
river.
SPEAKER_04 (01:52:38):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:52:38):
And they were like,
nope, you're not going anywhere.
Yep.
Um, so this is on the east sideof the property.
So there's Toll's Dairy overthere on the other side of the
river.
Um, that's good that they showedthat.
That's cool.
Um, let's see what else he has.
Yeah, oh, this is it right here.
Tighter view.
So that's Hillslide.
So yeah, right here, right inthis spot right here where the
(01:53:01):
cursor is, that's where I gotran off the road.
That's where the bike cover, that's where the book cover
takes place with me on the bike.
SPEAKER_04 (01:53:07):
There you go.
SPEAKER_06 (01:53:07):
We're going around
that corner.
Okay.
We did it, folks.
We freaking did it.
SPEAKER_04 (01:53:12):
Made it to the end.
SPEAKER_06 (01:53:14):
Holy almost two
hours.
Let's do some of the things.
SPEAKER_04 (01:53:18):
Yes, there we go.
SPEAKER_06 (01:53:19):
Uh, what's it say?
Thanks to everyone.
Traffic going 150 now.
Yeah.
Sorry, I forgot it was on halfspeed, guys.
I was took a lot longer for noreason.
Before it was going too fast forme to keep up with, and then uh
oh, there's Depeche Mode videosplaying on here.
We gotta turn that off.
Okay.
All right.
Um, so remember, you're supposedto remind me I gotta share the
(01:53:39):
giveaway screen.
SPEAKER_04 (01:53:40):
Yes, share the
giveaway screen.
SPEAKER_06 (01:53:42):
So we have 120
participates participants right
now.
SPEAKER_01 (01:53:47):
Perfect.
SPEAKER_06 (01:53:48):
Um, so I'm gonna let
if you guys want, I mean, you
don't have to, but if you want,I will uh give you a few more
minutes.
If you haven't commented, you'vebeen watching all this time.

SPEAKER_04 (01:53:59):
Nice.
Yay, I mean it's so anyone whohasn't commented, get your
comments in and you'll beincluded in the giveaway.
And no worries if you're notinterested in uh your very own
fake Navy doll.
SPEAKER_06 (01:54:10):
Trevor says, we
expect, of course, six and a
half hour episodes now.
SPEAKER_04 (01:54:13):
Yeah, oh my
goodness.
SPEAKER_06 (01:54:14):
That was anyway.
Um we've got a few more entriescoming in here.
SPEAKER_04 (01:54:20):
I I just couldn't
believe that John and Margie
bore with us through all ofthat.
That was really um yeah.
Anyway, it was a greatconversation.
SPEAKER_06 (01:54:29):
Yeah, you know what
I want to do?
I want to put up some commentsof people that work there.
SPEAKER_04 (01:54:34):
Oh, yeah.
Okay, good.
Let's do it.
SPEAKER_06 (01:54:36):
We'll wait and then
when we get to like 130 entries,
okay.
We'll call it and we'll do that.
And that'll get us out rightabout the right time.
SPEAKER_04 (01:54:42):
Okay.
Okay.
So later I worked in there onthe player.
SPEAKER_06 (01:54:46):
This is techie.
He's the guy that built allthose studios.
The recording studios, themixing studios, the all he built
everything.
SPEAKER_01 (01:54:53):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:54:54):
He built the where
the manufacturing area where I
worked, everything that dudebuilt.
Or worked on the equipment.
SPEAKER_01 (01:55:00):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:55:00):
Built the set up the
equipment.
SPEAKER_04 (01:55:02):
Yep.
SPEAKER_06 (01:55:02):
And then said later,
oh, maybe there's another later.
SPEAKER_04 (01:55:05):
I worked in there on
the player.
Oh, uh, yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_06 (01:55:08):
Well, I didn't star
any of these, so I have no idea
what the other uh comment was.
Anyway, that's but he said laterI worked there on the piano
player.
Awesome.
SPEAKER_03 (01:55:16):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:55:16):
Um, okay.
Did we uh oh we got a bunch ofstarred ones here?
Sorry, let's see.
Here we go.
Question Any news about the USB?
Let's really get Osa scared.
You know, I haven't looked forit.
I don't even know where to lookanymore.
SPEAKER_04 (01:55:28):
I I can tell you
where to look.
SPEAKER_06 (01:55:29):
Okay.
SPEAKER_04 (01:55:29):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:55:30):
We'll look.
SPEAKER_04 (01:55:31):
We'll look.
Thanks for the reminder,Meredith.
Hi from down the road in Parker.
Did you winterize?
We did not yet, but we have thaton the list for next weekend.
We need you for the uh reminder,Meredith.
We appreciate it.
Brian, question would DavidMiscavige ever consider selling
off all or part of the imp base?
It has to be costly to keep itrunning and green, and it sounds
(01:55:52):
like there aren't that manystaff there nowadays.
SPEAKER_06 (01:55:55):
That's a weird
question because that's where El
Ron Hubbard's house is.
Right.
SPEAKER_04 (01:55:58):
So he basically did
talk about doing that 100%.
Yes.
But I don't think he ever would.
SPEAKER_06 (01:56:04):
He would talk about
doing all kinds of things.
He did he would also talk aboutshutting down all of Golden Air
productions and moving it to LosAngeles.
And he did do that.
SPEAKER_01 (01:56:13):
That's right.
Exactly.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:56:16):
So who knows?
But I'm I'm done, I I would sayI think he's absolutely
considered it.
SPEAKER_01 (01:56:22):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:56:23):
But they there's
basically like over a hundred
million dollars worth ofinvestments on that property
now.
Right.
Easily, maybe even two hundredmillion.
SPEAKER_04 (01:56:31):
Yeah, and it it
serves as a property that they
can ship problem staff to.
SPEAKER_06 (01:56:36):
Yes.
It's a it's basically a placewhere the shelly miscavages of
other bases can be sent to thisbase.
SPEAKER_04 (01:56:43):
Exactly.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:56:45):
And do just make
work all day, every day.
SPEAKER_04 (01:56:49):
Yeah.
So it yeah, there's no yep, yep.
Anyway, all right.
Oh, hold on.
Are you gonna take down thegiveaway screen or just leave
that there open out?
SPEAKER_06 (01:56:59):
When we hit 130,
we're at 127, so we're almost
there.
SPEAKER_04 (01:57:02):
Oh, okay.
Gotcha.
All right, put the comment backup then.
Um, okay, here we go.
Matt and Danny, I mean, theymake it look amazing.
It feels like the wizard of Oz.
It looks fantastic, but pull thecurtain aside and it's just a
rotten facade.
SPEAKER_06 (01:57:15):
Yeah, it's like the
Disneyland of North Korea.
SPEAKER_04 (01:57:18):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:57:19):
That's what it is.
It looks amazing.
But there ain't nothing goodhappening.
SPEAKER_04 (01:57:23):
No.
SPEAKER_06 (01:57:24):
It's a lot of human.
SPEAKER_04 (01:57:26):
Can you switch you
to your camera, please?
Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:57:30):
Oh, sorry.
Yeah, I didn't even realize Ididn't do that.
Okay.
What is this thing you call CDs?
Right.
So we were talking about this.
I my friend here from England ishere visiting with us, and he
used to work at the imp basewith me.
He's a big lighting director forfilms and movies and TV shows,
and he's a big rock star.
SPEAKER_03 (01:57:48):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:57:49):
Anyway, but um when
we were making cassettes, CDs
had already been out for 20years.
SPEAKER_03 (01:57:56):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:57:56):
And then when we
started making um VHS, DVDs had
already been out for years.
SPEAKER_03 (01:58:02):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:58:02):
And then by the time
we started making DVDs,
everything was a digitaldownload.
And then by the time we startedum making CDs, then everything
was a digital download.
Like iPods were around when wewere making CDs.
SPEAKER_01 (01:58:17):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (01:58:17):
And so um, and and
when we and when video VHSs came
out, we were doing 16 millimeterproduct per projection.
And then when we switched to,you know, we finally switched to
HD, 4K was already had been out.
So they're about, I would saythey're depending on the
technology, they're usuallyabout 10 to 30 years behind the
(01:58:40):
whole rest of the world.
And by the time they build thefacility to do that medium, that
medium is ancient now and nobodyhas any players to play the
actual medium.
Yep.
Um, we're still at 127.
Anyone out there want tocomment?
SPEAKER_04 (01:58:56):
Just let's just do
it.
Maybe it's not refreshingeither.
SPEAKER_06 (01:58:59):
Oh, good point.
Okay, we'll do it.
Screw it.
We'll get out of here.
SPEAKER_04 (01:59:02):
We'll get out of
here before we hit the people
have stayed with us a long timenow.
SPEAKER_06 (01:59:07):
Okay, here we go.
Five, four.
