Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Business professionals, Latinos over at
Stockdale Country Club.
We set up a photo booth overthere.
Yeah, photo booth projectorPhoto booth projector, ipad,
same stuff that we do over atHavana Nights.
They take the picture and thatpicture immediately pops up onto
the projector and we weretalking about it and I really

(02:31):
feel like it's kind of likesocial media.
It's instant and you get toinstantly show off the picture
that you just took five secondsago and at that point it really
really drives that photo booth.
That photo booth had 200 imagesand 200 videos on it.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I mean 200 still pictures and 200 GIFs,
animations, boomerangs, whateverit may be.
Yeah, so they were all over it.
We had originally quoted DJ andPhoto Booth, but they ended up
going with another DJ, which isA-OK.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
It's just fine.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
I need some time off too, and there's enough for
everybody.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Not a big deal.
I'm not intimidated by it.
It just wasn't my crowd or Iwasn't their DJ, or whatever it
may be, not a big deal.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Totally okay.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Clyde got his CMAQ productions Clyde McGregor,
bakersfield comedy on a monthlybasis pretty much Nice, with the
exception of December.
He always has a show, he alwaysbrings comedy and I think the
next one's in.
He always has a show, he alwaysbrings comedy and I think the
next one's in February aroundValentine's Day, and we're going
to rock the hell out of itagain.

(03:50):
This last one was just amazing.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
It was so fun, the vibe, everything was just.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
The vibe, the comedians, the music Not tooting
my own horn, but we had itgoing.
We were cooking and people werevibing, dancing.
You know, it was a wonderfulevening and he just got all of
his social media back.
He had a photographer.
I would really like to put hername out there, so let me open

(04:17):
up my phone real quick andremember who it was.
It is Blame the Shooter, so itis blame the shooter, so,
underscore, blame the shooter.
She is a photographer,videographer.
Um, at least I think so.
Yeah, photos, videos, hdr, allkinds of uh packages.

(04:41):
You can choose from events forthe video, only events with
photos, only events with photoand video.
But anyways, I felt like shedid a real great job with
capturing all of the everythingthe comedians, the crowd, the
laughs, the dancing, the singing, the fun.
She did a great job, I you know.

(05:02):
I even asked her today for herprices.
I was like you know, I thinkyou could do some great things
at our Havana event.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
So we'll see if we can work something out with her
for the Havana event and capturesome more images and stuff
there, because it was realimpressive.
And if you guys haven't seen it, you know, go to C-Mac
Productions Clyde McGregor,c-mac.
They're both on Instagram,facebook.
They're everywhere she is aswell.
Take a look at both their pages, come out to the comedy shows

(05:33):
and if you need a photographeror videographer, you might want
to.
You might want to search her up.
Blame the shooter.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
It was nice working with her.
She was there super early whenI was there setting up.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Because we were setting up for the R&B singer
and we were sound testing withthe R&B singer and she was there
already.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
So that was a great time.
We have a busy weekend comingup, yes.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
The girls Summer and Sophie, right, yeah, yeah.
What do they have going on onsaturday?

Speaker 2 (06:11):
uh, cheer competition all right in anaheim and it's
right across the street fromdisneyland yeah, we might just
just stop in.
Yeah, yeah at midnight yeah me,sophie.
And summer, yeah, yeah, go lookat the christmas light because
olivia is probably going to wantto stay here with us yeah and
then I say us, and I'm not evengoing to end up being here,
because while I thought I did mylast freezing cold wedding of

(06:36):
the year a week ago, we just gothit up for another one for this
saturday yeah um, so we'regonna knock that one out.
Um, we got that coming up.
Fantasy football hey, my boyarnold's dat dude just how it

(06:57):
sounds dat dude on instagram.
My boy arnold, he uh pulled meinto fantasy football last year.
He said, hey, you want to dofantasy football this year?
And I was like, yeah, I ain'tgot nothing else to do and I'm
not a football fan, I'm a Raiderfan.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
And there's a difference.
There is a difference.
Some people like watchingfootball.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
I don't enjoy watching football that much if
it's not my team.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
So if it's not the Raiders, I really don't care.
And even if it is the Raiders,I am very, very protective of my
own mental health with theRaiders, because they let you
down constantly.
We have sucked for years andyears and years.
My grandpa was a Raider fan andthat's why I'm a Raider fan and

(07:47):
it's just in memory of mygrandpa.
They haven't been doing hismemory justice.
But I'm a committed individual.
Once I'm in something I'm inand I stay locked in.
I'm not wishy-washy.
I'm not going to jump toanother team, I'm not going to
do anything like that, but Iwill protect my mental health

(08:09):
when it comes to my Raiders.
So I will just check in on thescore on the phone every once in
a while if they're not doinggreat, but I won't sit here and
torture myself and watch theentire game if it's not worthy
of being watched.
We deserve better.
Raider fans deserve better.
A lot of team fans deservebetter, but uh, yeah, I'm a

(08:31):
raider fan, so that's what it is.
Anyways, fantasy footballarnold brought me in.
I already knew johnny and Ialready knew rick yeah you know,
and they're, they're in on itas well.
Well, I ended up today oryesterday, monday night football
.
I wrapped up my fifth win.
I had a little win streak goingon.

(08:51):
I finished 11 and three on theseason so far.
And then we're in the playoffsnow.
So you win one game, you get ahundred dollars.
You win two games, you get $300.
You win three games, you get$600.
So you know, I paid $100 tostart and I didn't have any

(09:12):
expectations going in.
I know I've talked about thison the podcast before, but I was
not prepared going into fantasyfootball.
These motherfuckers took that.
They take that shit realseriously, like they had laptops
and ipads and printouts and androsters and all kinds of shit.
They had done some homework andI went in there straight out of

(09:33):
a nap, so I drafted well, andI'll tell everybody my draft
strategy.
My draft strategy was simply todraft consistency, consistent
players, people that were goingto consistently perform and give
me solid numbers, not peoplethat were going to spike here
and there and one good game, onebad game, and you can't ever

(09:57):
predict those things.
But, for instance, mike Evans,1,000-yard receiver every year.
Not a lot of people know thatand I don't think Mike Evans is
really greatly appreciated byanybody outside of Tampa Bay
fans.
Baker Mayfield, he's a dog andBaker Mayfield is a dog.
He just has that dog in him.
And those are two of my players.

(10:18):
You know, I got Brock Purdy, Igot Jamal Chase, daniel Carlson
kicking, I got the Chiefsdefense.
Right now they're not great, but we made it to the playoffs,
so I got to get one game in andI'll pay for my league, I'll pay
for my season.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
If I get two games, I'll pay for last season and
this season and have another$100 left over.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
And then, if I win all of them, I'll get $600 and
$100 to re-up and then $500 totake home for Christmas.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Nice no big deal, I know.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Yeah, what else we got going on?
How's Christmas shopping going?

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Haven't even started.
No, mm-mm, we haven't evenstarted.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
It's going to start Friday.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Yeah, it's going to start Friday.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
And you know, every year I say hey, let's start
buying things.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Early.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Early, but I think we just can't wait to give the
girls their things.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Oh yeah.
Yeah, it's a dangerous thing.
If we buy early, we're going togive it to them early things.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Oh yeah, yeah, it's a dangerous thing.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
If we buy early, we're going to give it to them
early, yeah Well at least I am.
I'm kind of soft, I know, that's what Nate called me
yesterday.
He called me an M&M Hard on theinside and sweet on the inside.
I told him hey, man, it's justa defense mechanism and I look.
I look big and rugged and meanon the outside but deep down I'm
not going to hurt nobody.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
I like that Eminem Hard on the inside.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
Outside.
Hey, where are you going, babe?
This is not appropriate.
This is PG-13 over here.
I don't know what is going on.
We need a.
Yeah, we had to censor.
I got the censor button.
Now you can't be doing stufflike that on here, hard on the
inside.

(12:12):
What are we talking about?
He?

Speaker 1 (12:13):
was right Hard on the outside, sweet on the inside,
every time.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
But the girls already know All of our daughters know
I'm not hard on the outside Likethey already got me Wrapped
around their pinkies.
They do.
They get everything alreadyknow.
All of our daughters know I'mnot hard on the house like they
already got me wrapped aroundtheir pinkies they do, they get
everything.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
He tries to be tough with them, but he can't.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Well you know try to do the the dad thing you know
and try to.
You know I don't want to besuch an authoritarian or
anything.
I I want to.
I'm fair if you if up, I'mgoing to chew your ass out bad,
and if you do well, I'm going topraise you really well.
Um, but I'm fair, I'm fairacross the board.

(12:52):
I'm going to chew your ass outwhen you mess up.
I'm going to love you when youdo great Well.
I love you all the time, butI'm going to really tell you how
great you are and how proud Iam and everything else.
Um, but sometimes you just haveto snatch some souls.
Speaking of snow soul snatching, I think my dj name could have
been dj soul snatcher no no Ilike dj gordy b gordy b

(13:16):
yeah it's like a light.
Gordy b, it's like a fun, it'skind of like.
It's not like.
I'm going to just be carefuland not mention anybody else's
DJ names, but some of them arejust aggressive.
Yeah, gordy B, you can't beafraid of Gordy B.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Right, steve Aoki, you can't be mad at Steve Aoki.
Pauly D, you're not mad atPauly D, you don't think Pauly D
.
But if you have like and again,I'm not even going to say it
because there's some of thesenames people in Bakersfield use
I'm not even going to pissanybody else off today, and even
that one with the big old mousehead.
Oh, is that Deadmau5, orwhatever?

Speaker 1 (13:58):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
Yeah, that's kind of aggressive Dead.
No, I don't need no death.
I know no death fear.
We don't need no death.
So yeah, we got christmasshopping coming up on friday um
what did I tell you today?

Speaker 1 (14:14):
I said babe, I know what I'm gonna get you, oh yeah
I'm not.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Yeah, you know what?
Yeah, so I'm gonna tell youright now.
I was in the kitchen.
Let me tell you a big story.
I'll tell you a long storyright now.
I started grocery shopping likean adult because I have been
abusing Uber Eats for lunch anddinner 365 days a year.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
It got bad yeah yeah, it got.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
It gets real bad because it's so convenient.
Yeah, um, it's so convenienttime saving everything else, but
it costs a lot of money.
It adds up.
So, anyways, started usinginstacart.
I'm still I still don't want togo out and go grocery shopping
around people.
I still don't like people thatmuch.
So, anyways, I have mygroceries delivered.
Yeah, that's a little bougiepossibly, but we're busy, so

(15:06):
we've been cooking, we've beencooking our meals, we stopped
uber eating and all that stuff, and you know, just trying to be
a little bit more fiscallyresponsible, I suppose have a
lot of goals next year lots ofgoals, big ones, and they won't
be divulged here, but we do haveour, our big, big, big poster
paper that we use throughout theyear.

(15:27):
We reassess throughout the year,we reprioritize, we check
things off and we create newgoals.
We don't wait for this new year, new me, bullshit.
You don't want to wait a yearto make adjustments to something
that may not be working great.
Make adjustments right now andthen continue making them until
you got it fine-tuned, anyways, anyways, anyways.

(15:49):
I'm in the kitchen.
I got chicken breasts, boneless, skinless.
I got a pan out, uh, you know, dried them off, seasoned them,
put some barbecue sauce on them, got the oven going, everything
else, and we're're talking.
Yeah, we're cooking, we'recooking and we're talking and
thinking about Christmas and webrought each other's gifts up.

(16:12):
Oh, I know what I'm getting youalready.
You know that whole game.
And she said yeah, I know whatI'm getting you too.
And I asked her how much was it?
Or she offered I don't rememberwhat was it, I don't remember.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
What was it?
I don't remember what I said.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Anyways, this girl said first and foremost, she
said like $400.
And I'm like no, no, no, we'renot spending $400 on me Not
doing it.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Unless it's something that's going to make me $1,000
in a month or something, and Isaid, babe, I'm going to need
$400.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Oh yeah.
And I said, babe, I'm going toneed $400.
Oh yeah, so when I get paid onFriday, she needs $400 from me
to buy me a gift with my money.
And it's really not like that.
Look, it's just how the checksland.
She got paid last Friday, I getpaid this Friday.
So if it was last Friday shewould have used her own money.
But we have the same accountsand everything else.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
So it's not a big deal?
No, it, but we have the sameaccounts and everything else.
So it's not a big deal.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
No, it all comes from the same pocket, and then she
increased it from $400 to howmuch?

Speaker 1 (17:09):
To $600.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Because then you gave me another idea.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Oh, I gave you an idea.
It's my fault again that I'mhaving to spend money on myself.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
See, you don't have to get me Now, it's not going to
cost $400 because you thought Iwas just going to get me.
Now it's not going to cost 400because you thought I was just
going to get you what youmentioned.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
And then I was all like no, I need 600 now.
Yeah, that's ridiculous, that'sa bit much.
And then, and then she was likewell, how much is my present
going to be?
I was like I have no idea, I'mnot telling you because I know
it's probably gonna be over 400.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Oh, it's probably going to be over 400.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Oh, it's over 400.
It's over 400.
So, but here's the other thingis we also don't wait for
Christmas to get things or togive things.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
To each other.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Don't wait.
Do not wait.
Get stuff throughout the year, take care of people you love,
make sure that they're known andimportant, and everything else
in your life throughout the year.
Yeah, you know, don't waitbecause you don't know what's
going to happen.
You don't want to lose somebodyin that year and then you could
have done something.
Gave them something, giftedthem something, whatever it may

(18:15):
be.
Don't wait for Christmas.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Yeah, I know you'd be happy if I just made tamales.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
I mean.
I get fatter again.
You know, one year I went on aD-Wars diet and that's not a
real thing.
It was just my fat ass goingthrough boxes and boxes and
boxes of peanut butter chews andI lost weight doing it.

(18:42):
I lost quite a bit of weightdoing it.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
I wonder if it's, your body knows how to process
it.
Yeah, yeah Somethingphysiological or something.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
Yeah, genetic, physiological, you know,
whatever it may be.
Yeah, I went on a divorce dietand, speaking of divorce, my mom
, her sisters, her mom, mygrandma, grandpa they're all
bakersfield natives.
They grew up, born and raiseddowntown bakersfield old days.

(19:15):
They've been here forever, andde wars has too, and that's
something that they used to geta treat.
Every once in a while they usedto be able to go to de wars and
get, like, a banana split or asundae or a milkshake or maybe
choose right yeah well, marionhad a christmas party at work.
Today, our christmas party.
Yeah, it was our Christmasparty, our annual Christmas

(19:36):
party yeah, I had a Christmasparty over at Southwest
Pediatrics and um, she got acouple white elephant gifts or
some other stuff and in one ofthe boxes there was a bunch of
different dwarves in there and Itold her, hey, you know what?
I need to go buy dwarves.
I need to buy some boxes andsend them out to mom yeah and my
mom calls us 30 minutes later,or I called her no, we called, I

(20:01):
called her.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
I called her, yeah I called her.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
I called her to check on her, see how she's doing and
make sure she knows her, herson's not in a ditch somewhere
because mom's worry.
And uh, she was on the phonewith DeWars trying to get an
order in to send to her sisterin Virginia and I was like mom,
you know, I send you DeWars andPyrenees bread.

(20:26):
That's my mom's thing.
Bakersfield staples right, dewars and Pyrenees, and I go to
these places, I buy them, I tothe you know ups store or
whatever, and I ship them out tomom so she can have her
pyrenees bread, which they don'thave out in ohio.
And, um, her divorce her choose.
So, needless to say, yeah, I'llbe making a trip there this

(20:49):
week to go grab some and shipthem out to both her and her,
her sister, my aunt yeah, yeah, yep I know, then, speaking of
white elephant, what I uh thewhite what about a white?

Speaker 1 (21:04):
elephant that we were playing that game today at work
what game and the whiteelephant that's a game it's a
game, it's like you can.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
You can steal the gift that someone picked oh,
okay, I didn't that, I didn'tconsider it a game, but okay.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
Yeah, and then it's crazy how people just get mad
when you steal someone's gift.
You know that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
I mean, look, I can almost see like if you were,
like, if your heart was set onsomething.
You're like man, I want thatone.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
And then your name comes up and you get it and
you're all happy and thensomebody devastates you and
pulls a rug out from under youand snatches it up from you.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
You know how many times our gift got stolen.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
Really s'mores, oh the s'more maker yeah, really it
got stolen three times oh, wegot that over at uh costco.
Yeah, I let, that was a goodlittle buy.
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
It was a good was a good buy.
Yeah, especially for otherpeople that wanted it.
Yeah, let them know.
Hey, go to Costco, they're atCostco, grab them.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Yeah, they're like 30 bucks.
Yeah, it was a nice little Idon't know.
S'more maker, what do you callit?

Speaker 2 (22:10):
An appliance.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
A s'more appliance, I don't know, it's a little
s'more maker, yeah, but that wascool.
Yeah, it was well, it was a fun.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
It was fun network today and we got our uh, we got
our santa mailbox over atsouthwest pediatrics too.
Yes, how's that going overthere?
Are they still filling it outand filling stuff in?

Speaker 1 (22:28):
there was one today, babe, that a little boy or a
little girl said that theywished that their grandma was
here because she just passedaway and mom misses her.
I was like, oh, she wished agift for her mom, not even for
herself.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
Unselfishly.
I would like my mom to have hermom back to be happy.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
Yeah, that's a beautiful thing, it was it was
beautiful.
That's when you know you raiseda good kid because, most kids,
uh, unknowingly, are justselfish yeah I don't know if
it's unknowingly, but they'reselfish.
Want, want, want, want, want.
What are you getting me?
What are you getting me not, hey, what do you want?
What could you use forchristmas?
Nothing like that.
What are you getting me?

(23:13):
yeah it's like man hey you needto settle down with that shit.
Um g's body works is prettyslow right now.
I've I've kind of cut back onthat a bit.
I'm uh, I don't know that I'dsay I'm torn on it, but I I
think I'm to the point where I'mprobably gonna somewhat retire
it and just keep my clients thatI have.

(23:36):
Yeah, Like your like my mainones.
You know, anna was one of myfavorite ones.
She's a principal and we justhave the greatest conversations.
You know you got Arnold, yougot Felipe, you got you know
some of my regular people Tylereven, you know and and people
that I've actually been able tohelp that have not gotten help

(23:56):
from their chiropractors ormassage therapists or doctors or
whatever else.
I've actually been able to helppeople and I want to make sure
I'm still helping those people.
So, geez, it slowed down.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
But DJing has picked up a lot.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
DJ just keeps growing and growing and growing.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
And the photo booths, and it definitely offsets.
Djing has picked up a lot.
Oh man, yeah, dj just keepsgrowing and growing and growing.
You know, and the photo booths, and it's like it definitely
offsets.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
And obviously beyond oh yeah, yeah way beyond, way
beyond what you know.
Illflow had his birthdayrecently.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
We were over at Off the.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Rails.
We're going to be over at theCondors on the 27th Friday, the
27th this month, that'll be fun.
December the 27th, we will allbe at the Condors game.
I'll be DJing.
You know the opening part ofthe.
You know Rich again, I talkabout him all the time.
But good dude, you know, gooddude, good guy for the community

(24:56):
, involves everybody, bringseverybody in, gives everybody an
opportunity to get on thequote-unquote big stage right,
get in front of a big crowd ofpeople.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
And I think that helps people.
He does the same thing over atChewy's.
He lets everybody in there andDJing and everything else as
well.
That's pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
Pretty cool.
Our washer and dryer are goingto be paid off on Friday.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Oh yeah, that's a nice thing, I know.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
That's going to be a nice thing.
We had just gotten washer anddryer when we moved in here and
we always do like the 90 dayssame as cash kind of thing and
we just make.
You know, we make the paymentson it and then we finish it up
before the date.
Because if you guys let it getto the date with any of these
creditors, like a SEMA or SNAPor caffeine or whoever else, if

(25:46):
you don't pay it off in theamount of time that they have,
you're actually going to bepaying like two to three times
the amount for the you know, theproduct that you bought.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
So you definitely want to make sure you pay those
off.

Speaker 1 (25:58):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
We had a Christmas concert.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
Oh, we did.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
Yeah, Kai had a Christmas concert over at
Stockdale Christian.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
So we got to hang out and they had some talented kids
there and band kids and pianoplayers and all the kids that
were singing.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
And that was a that was nice too.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
It was nice, it was cute.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
Tomorrow we're doing the most dope podcast.
Oh yeah, we are back.
Djs Ill Flow, DJ Dos Muchos, DJDynamite, yeah, DJ Richie Rich,
Georgina Marion and DJ Gordie Bso silly.

(26:47):
So yeah, we're going to have anice full podcast tomorrow.
It'll be a nice one.
We're going to do the podcastand then I'm going to let the
guys hit the tables, I'm goingto cook some burgers and stuff
and hang out, chill, just enjoyeach other's company and, uh,
you know, just talk life, music, business, whatever it may be,
Not a not a bad little uh no nota bad little lineup tomorrow,

(27:15):
and we're trying to get morepeople in here too.
So if, if anybody listens in andyou know you do anything like
uh, party rentals, you doanything, entertainment, any,
you know your side business, your side hustles stuff like
that, hit me up, hit me up, comeon in, chill, hang out, and
we'll get you out there a littlebit, and, trust me, it's a very
little bit, because we're ourpodcast, isn't?

(27:36):
that big yet but we, you know weshare it and everybody shares
it and you know we listen in andI mean we have over 150 streams
, 150 listeners, multiplecountries, multiple States now.
So it's growing slowly, whichyou know.
When it's organic, I don't mindthat it's, it's not forced,
it's organic, it's natural.

(27:57):
Some people like what I have tosay, some people don't.
You know, it's, it's life, butwe, we're still going to respect
each other yeah uh, doggies.
Oh, I know, roxy is growing ourlittle roxy rottweiler is
growing.
That when we picked her out youknow obviously you look at the

(28:19):
puppy and you see how big theirpaws are, kind of gives you an
indication on how big they'regonna be.
Yeah, and she had the biggestfucking paws and she might be
bigger than max.
I know she might outgrow max.
Max might like big bitches.
I don't know, max max might notbe like his daddy, he might
like him thick.

(28:39):
But she got her last shotstoday.
Uh, big shout out to uh linel djnocturnal.
He, uh he helped us out, tookcare of that for us, brought the
uh, brought a, brought a lowfog machine back that I let him
use, bailed him out of a slightlittle pickle no big deal.

(29:00):
You know, I got a low fogsitting here.
I got plenty of equipmentsitting here.
So, djs, if you're my boy, if Ican trust you, you're more than
welcome to use stuff if I gotit and it's not being used and I
can.
If I got it and it's not beingused, and I know you're going to

(29:25):
take care of it, because I amvery, very, very anal, retentive
about my gear and my equipment.
You know you buy things once.
You don't want to buy themagain because you jacked them up
or anything I don't want tohave to just go buy another one
for no reason.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
They're not cheap.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
No no.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
And we buy everything cash when it comes to our dj
stuff yeah, yeah, everything ison a cash basis for the most
part.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
We don't.
We don't really like building, not building, but billing to
credit and owing and stuff likethat.
You know it just.
Yeah, we still do.
Hey, we're just like everybodyelse.
We still do.
Hey, we're just like everybodyelse.
We still, we still financethings.
We still do Z sounds, we stilldo American musical, we still do
those guys.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
But we give ourselves a limit.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
We give ourselves a limit and we spread it way out.
Yeah, it's not something thatwe do on a every time.
We pay something off.
We got to go buy something backat American musical.
It's nothing like that.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
No no.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
It's nothing like that.
Let's see.
Let's see.
What else do we got?

Speaker 1 (30:29):
I think that's pretty much it, we got the podcast.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
We got some holidays coming up.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
My mom's coming, oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Mom's coming.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
Grandma's coming, yeah, we got the podcast.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
We got some holidays coming up.
My mom's coming, oh yeah, mom'scoming, grandma's coming.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
She's coming Christmas week.
We haven't seen her in a bit.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
We haven't seen her in a bit.
We haven't seen her since wewent down to Mexico.
I had to get a root canal or acouple root canals.
It was the last time we've seenher, I believe.
Yeah, or you might have seenher in between then and now.
I don't know.
We haven't Well, mom hasn't,you know, she hasn't got to see
the house and everything else.
So we're real excited aboutthat because we are proud of the

(31:03):
place.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
And we really like people to come in and just not
be like in awe or anything, butto see that, hey, this is a nice
, cozy little place.
You guys are clean, organized, cozy, smells good, doesn't stink
, you know.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
And you know, my mom's like this too, like she's
very, like clean, very simple, you know, and I get that from
her.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Are we putting her to work?
Probably is she gonna cook?
I don't know if we're gonna dotamales but you guys said you
might go do all my piquis Iprobably won't oh, you will, yes
, family yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
I don't know what we're gonna do.
I don't know what the plan isbecause I obviously I won't have
the girls.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
Why is that obvious?

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Well, it's not obvious, but I won't have the
girls I'll be with.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
It's not obvious to anybody.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
To you.
It's just like when I say it'llbe tomorrow.
Nobody knows.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
Where did you get that from, though?

Speaker 1 (32:08):
It'll be tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
You, yes, yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
Yeah, we have this saying Everything comes up so
quickly, like we could beplanning something eight months
out, and we always say, well,it's going to be tomorrow before
you know it.
And it's true, but you have tobe around like-minded people
like that, to use that phrase, because Marion has given some
people heart attacks.
They said something's going on.

(32:35):
She said, well, it's goinggonna be tomorrow, and they they
think literally oh shit, it'stomorrow.
I'm in trouble, I'm panicked, Igotta get this done.
I'm like no, no, it means it'llbe here before you know it it's
so funny.
He's like babe, babe, you can'tdo that yeah, you can't do that

(32:56):
because you scare people, peopleget people get really scared
and create a lot of anxiety forpeople, especially around the
holidays.
You can't do that.
You might, you might flipsomebody out.
You can't do that.
What do you think about umtrends, possible trends going

(33:16):
into next year?
Um, when we talk about booths, when we talk about DJing,
weddings, decor for weddings, parties, corporate events, what
do you, what do you think mighttrend next year?
What do you think might be hot?
Like, for instance, 360 photobooths got kind of hot for a

(33:36):
while and I will be the firstone to tell you I do not like
them.
I don't like them.
I don't like them.
There's moving parts.
Somebody has to actually manthe 360 and station and operate
and everything else.
So then you're talking aboutmanpower, you're talking about
paying an employee, yeah, and oryourself staying there, whereas

(34:00):
our photo booths, they'recompletely autonomous.
They're a microwave.
You go up to it, you hitpicture, you take a picture.
You go up to it, you hitboomerang.
You take a boomerang.
You go up to it, you hit gif,it takes a gif, and then, when
it's done, it asks, asks you, would you like to text this to
yourself?
And you put your phone numberin and you go yeah, I don't

(34:22):
think that'll ever get old Idon't either, and um, so I think
360s are going out yeah Ireally do.
I don't really see them anywhereanymore and I'm not a big fan
of them.
I might pick one up just so Ican have one in the event that
somebody wants to purchase.
You know, rent one.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
I do.
I want to get the other one,the overhead 360.
The overhead 360.
Now the overhead.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
360 is great.
Somebody will still have tooperate it because it turns and
it will smack somebody in thehead, I'm sure.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Right, but you're not limited to the dimensions of
the platform that you stand on.
Yeah, this is upside down andgoes in a circle around you, so
you could probably have a groupof 25 people within this arch
that this 360 is spinning under.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
So I like that.
Prints I'm not into prints.
I don't like those either, andthat's for a couple reasons.
A paper costs money yeah btoner and everything else costs
money.
C um, sometimes you're gonnahave to be there to fix it right

(35:31):
.
What if it jams?
What if it does anything else?
I don't, my text messages don'tjam.
Yeah, my text messages send toyou every time and they live in
the cloud forever.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
We have every single one of our events that we have
have done photo booths for.
We have an entire catalog withall of all the data, all the
pictures, all the videos,everything else.
The other thing is prints areagain.
They're paper.
Yeah, they get damaged.
And not only only that a lot ofthe times it ends up in

(36:01):
someone's drawer yeah you know, like in a box, in a drawer and
and then here's the thing welive in the age, a digital age,
and we live in the age of socialmedia yeah are you seriously
telling me you're gonna take afucking photo booth picture,
you're gonna get the print out, you're gonna set it down on the
table?
you're gonna take a fuckingphoto booth picture, you're
going to get the printout, you're going to set it down on
the table, you're going to takea picture of the picture so you

(36:21):
can post it on social media.
Not only is it going to looklike shit, you're going to lose
quality, everything else, whenyou can go just straight digital
.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
And it lives forever.
And it's the same thing withthe audio guest book.
I think audio guest books aregoing to spike next year too.
They're going to become moreand more popular because again
you have somebody at your event, your wedding, your special day,
whatever it may be.
They pick up the phone and theyleave a voice message for you.
Yes, that lives forever.
Somebody passes away.

(36:51):
God forbid.
It's still there.
Yeah, you always have thatvoice.
Yeah, you always have thatvoice, and it's just.
I feel like it's a little bit,not a little bit.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
a lot better than a regular Guest book that you
would sign.
Hey, best wishes.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah and you know what I like
about it.
It's like you could be cleaningthe kitchen and listening to
everything someone left, yeahRight, and like a book.
You'll have to like sit thereand read it, and you can still
get things done if you'relistening now imagine this going
even farther.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Your kids get to hear grandma and grandpa's voice
yeah your grandkids get to heargrandma and grandpa's voice,
people that they have never met, people that they never get to
meet most of the time.
I mean, I only had a grandma.
I had a grandma for quite awhile.
Only one I had a grandpa formaybe a year of my, when I was

(37:47):
born and I didn't have on theother side a grandma or a
grandpa alive.
So a lot of people don't get toexperience grandma, grandpa or
great grandma and grandpa, right.
So, yeah, I think audio guestbooks will spike.
I think an overhead 360 will bea big thing coming up.
As far as any kind of othermusic stuff like that, you know

(38:09):
stems is out.
It's been out for a while.
Different, different, you know, different platforms have had
stems implemented at some pointin time over the last few years.
Yeah, so there's a lot ofability to create acapellas and
instrumentals and and dodifferent things.
As far as music goes, we'reobviously looking at, you know,

(38:30):
the downfall of Diddy, yeah, possibly the downfall of Jay-Z
next, he just got named in oneof those lawsuits and possibly
quite a few other very highprofile people.
Now, here's the thing with thatis, I never stopped playing R
Kelly and I never will.
I've never stopped playingMichael Jackson and I never will

(38:53):
what they've done in theirpersonal lives.
We speculate, we can, uh, wecan do anything.
Yeah, it's not for me to do.
I like their music and you haveto be able to differentiate the
human from the music yeah andyou know, obviously people are
still going to play puff daddyand mace and lil kim and
everybody else right puff, daddyand big.

(39:15):
You know they're still going toplay it.
Everybody's going to keepplaying Jay-Z, but there
definitely is a lot going on inthe music world right now as far
as all of that mess goes.

Speaker 1 (39:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Let's go to backdrops .
Trends for backdrops Now.
We have seen some like 4D, 5dbackdrops, you know, the flower
walls and stuff like that.
I think those are going to geta little bit more popular, just
a little.
I don't think they're going toblow out the 2D ones that we
have and we use.
We have some very popular 2Dyou know, prints on our

(39:52):
backdrops.
But there is also newer things, like these cubes, these half
cubes, that are completelyenclosed, almost.
And I'm not talking about thosecheap inflatable Timu cubes,
I'm talking about some real nicecubes that you can put a photo
booth in front of, and they'reall mirrored on the inside or

(40:13):
whatever they may be, and theyjust have one side open for you
to walk into.
And take a picture so I thinkthose will will grow as well
which means our warehouse isgonna have to grow.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
Yeah, yeah, our inventory will grow.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
Our warehouse will grow.
A neon sign selection will growwhich you were just talking
about.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
Yeah, putting another story.
Uh-huh, we'll get there forsure.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Yeah, we're thinking about putting another level on
top of our current shop Mm-hmm.
Who knows what we'll put upthere.
Obviously, we're not going toput the heaviest of gear up
there, because I am not going tobe carrying stuff up and down
stairs right.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
No.
But maybe it's just a workspace, maybe it's going to be a
combination of a, a room and aworkspace, maybe it's going to
be a combination of a deck and aroom yeah you know, sit out on
the deck out upstairs up topmaybe just put the stuff that we
don't use all the time oh, yeah, like for instance, I don't
know the Christmas stuff yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
Once a year.
Yeah, that's smart.
Yeah, I'm with that.
I'm with that.
I can do that.
We had our housewarming.
That was beautiful, had a lotof people come over and hang out
.
We won't go into details or putanybody's laundry out there,
but it was, it was fun.
It was a good night.
Yeah, it was a good night, itwas fun.
I think a lot of people enjoyedthemselves.

Speaker 1 (41:38):
They did.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
Maybe over enjoyed?
I don't know.
We won't speculate and we won'ttalk about it.
I had everybody sign NDAs.
By the way, You're going to aGordie B party.
You got to have an NDA.
No, it's nothing like thatTrust me?

Speaker 1 (41:55):
No, it's not.

Speaker 2 (41:56):
Nothing like that we don't do shit like that, no we
yeah, no, we have daughters, werespect women, we have daughters
and that, no, that will neverhappen.
No, no, um how do you feelabout juggling everything in
life, as far as the photo booths, as far as your career, as far
as djing, as far as ourdaughters, as far as daughters,

(42:19):
activities, cheer, extracurriculars how do you, how
you feel you're doing with, uh,juggling all that?

Speaker 1 (42:27):
you know, sometimes it does feel hard, you know,
like, oh my gosh, like I onlyhave four hours of sleep and I
have to go to work, but at thesame time, you know, you know,
it's just, I think you and andthe girls kind of just help fuel
me.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (42:44):
Help me keep going Like everything is for you and
them.

Speaker 2 (42:49):
I feel the same way.
I feel the same way.
You know you get um, you'retired.
You get tired especially if youwork seven days straight, 14
days straight.
Um, you know, some of theseweddings are 14 hour days yeah,
um, and there's a lot of liftingand and setting up and breaking
down and and a lot of mental, alot of physical it's, it's

(43:10):
exhausting yeah it can beexhausting and yeah, when you're
, when you're low on sleep andhaving to get up early the next
day, it always works out somehow.

Speaker 1 (43:22):
It does.

Speaker 2 (43:22):
I'm not quite sure how.
We do love to be positivearound here and give good energy
and speak positivity and giveall that out into the universe.
And that's my religion, I wouldsay, is energy.
My religion is energy.
I don't I'm not going tospeculate on anything else.

(43:42):
I'm not going to talk aboutanybody else's religion.
I don't care if your religionis yoga, if your religion is
Mario Golf, right, if you have.
You like to put puzzlestogether.
If you go to the gym, you knoweverybody has a quote, unquote,
differentunquote, differentreligion.
You know spirituality and mineis just simply about energy.
It's trying to be a good humanbeing, trying to do nice things

(44:05):
for other human beings, withoutthe expectation of anything
coming back, but kind of withthe expectation hey, I would
like nothing bad to happen to mefor a while.
I would like things to go kindof smooth for a minute.
That would be nice.
Can we do that?

Speaker 1 (44:20):
yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
So I feel the same way we.
We get tired, but here's thehere's the kicker with it.
I'll complain about it.
I'll be like fuck, I'm tired, man, I'm hurting, my body hurts,
I'm lifting these subs or I'mdoing whatever and everything
else, and summer needs this andkai needs this, and marion wants
this and this, and I want thisand I want to do this and

(44:44):
everything else, and you'reexhausted yeah right, you're
exhausted you do but on theother end of it, when I have a
day off, I don't know what thefuck to do with myself.
Like I.
I am broken, I have issues, Ican't sit still.
Apparently, I got to try to dosomething, even if it's work
around the house, work in theyard.

(45:05):
By the way, I love working inthe yard, you know.
I've done it since I was a kid.
We had almost an acre in Arvinthat I had to take care of.
When you were a kid, I loved itwhen I was a very, very little
boy and then I hated it a monthafter.

Speaker 1 (45:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
And I never wanted to do it.
But throughout life you startto appreciate other things, like
for me.
My dad worked the living dogpiss out of me every day.
Every day I was in the yardworking flower beds, yard garden

(45:42):
, fruit trees, sprinklers, waterlines, weeds, rototilling,
hoeing, shoveling, moving, whatever, and I hated it.
Yeah, and I hated my dad.
At the point at that time, little did I know he was
preparing me for life.
Little do you know your parentsare preparing you for life,

(46:05):
because life does come at youquick and it will hit you like a
fucking cinder block.
And nowadays all of my jobs aresuper mental.
I would say it's all in thehead, right?
Yeah, I'm an analyst for CommonSpirit.
I'm an Epic analyst.
I know Cerner inside and out.

(46:25):
I know eClinicalWorks insideand out.
I know all scripts inside andout, and now I'm learning Epic
inside and out.
Yeah, and Epic is the epitomeof EMRs.

Speaker 1 (46:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (46:36):
It's the biggest, the biggest, baddest EMR in the
world.

Speaker 1 (46:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (46:41):
Um, yeah, and you get exhausted.
Yeah, your mind and your braingets exhausted.
So when I'm done there and Ican go outside and I can do some
mindless work, some manuallabor, mowing, edging, weed,
eating, you know blowing- it'salmost just like a.

(47:02):
It's a nice break.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (47:05):
It's peaceful and our place looks beautiful because
of it.
So then you're proud of it andyou get to come home to it every
day and like it just makesthings nicer it does it really
does.
So it's a.
It's a situation, a rock and ahard place right like am I going
to be mentally exhausted or doI want to be physically

(47:26):
exhausted?
You definitely don't want to beboth.
A DJing will make you both.
If you have to set up stuff, set up gear, everything else,
play level nine Tetris for fourhours, like they say, mixing
music and, you know, trying toget a dance floor, trying to
keep a dance floor, you knowthere's a lot to it.

Speaker 1 (47:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (47:46):
There's a lot to it, so it's nice to swap back and
forth sometimes.
But on the other end, somebodythat does manual labor every day
probably wouldn't mind gettingon a computer and doing some day
trading or something and makingsome money and using their head
right.
It'd be a nice break for them, nice break for their body.
Speaking of day trading, I amgetting into day trading.

(48:08):
I'm going to start it thebeginning of next year.
I'm getting all the equipmentset up monitors, accounts.
I've had Robinhood for years soI've kind of traded for a while
.
But I'm going to go Ninja Trader.
We're going to trade futures,we're going to trade options.

(48:29):
We're going to be up, you know, early in the morning, a couple
hours before work, try to make afew hundred, maybe a thousand
dollars.
You know, depending you'regoing to have good days and bad
days.
So I'm going to start trading.
I've been watching all kinds ofvideos, reading all kinds of
stuff on it, and I'm prettyconfident I can do it.

Speaker 1 (48:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (48:49):
Yeah, and then possibly, you know, just retire
off of trading one day.
Yeah, you know, obviously, keeping common spirit, I have
great, great health benefits.

Speaker 1 (49:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (49:01):
But if I'm making a thousand dollars a day trading,
I really don't care.
I can just pay for my healthstuff in cash.
Yeah, no big deal, not a bigdeal.
But you know, another venturefor me, something else to do,
something to keep me busy, another challenge.
I'm always up for challenges,I'm always up for learning and
the frustration and everythingelse behind it that leads to

(49:23):
success.
Yeah, yeah.
That'll be fun.
Nate poor nate poor nate.
December driving his truck, tooka shit on him yeah driving his
truck to the dump to clean uphis new house.
Timing chain slipped or broke,I think think on his.

(49:46):
Tundra and he was supposed tocome over and pick something up
and he had messaged me yesterdayevening.
He said hey man, I'm sorry Ihaven't been able to go by.
You know, truck broke down.
I was like, well, come pick upthe Jeep, man.
You know I work from home.
I'm blessed.

Speaker 1 (50:06):
I'm fortunate.

Speaker 2 (50:06):
I have worked hard to get here, but I work from home
so I have vehicles that I don'tuse necessarily.
So I say, hey, man, come pickup the Jeep.
You know, do what you need todo for the week.
You know, get to your events.
You know, run business, don'tworry about it.

Speaker 1 (50:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
Just bring it back to me with, you know, not too many
dents and scratches.

Speaker 1 (50:27):
It's a tank with you know, not too many dents and
scratches.

Speaker 2 (50:29):
It's a tank.
You know it's a 19.
Look, he was even impressedwith the interior.
He was impressed with the jeepoverall.
Yeah, because we take very goodcare of it.
And it's a 1993 jeep.
Cherokee yeah, it is spraypainted flat black plasti dip,
um.
So if I get a scratch in it, Igo out to the garage, I get my
black plasti dip.
So if I get a scratch in it, Igo out to the garage, I get my

(50:51):
black plasti dip and I sprayover it.
Big fucking deal.
You know what I mean.
I don't want to have to careabout a shit box.
I don't want to what's so funny?

Speaker 1 (51:02):
I don't think it's a shit box.

Speaker 2 (51:03):
What was so funny?
Nothing, I missed something.

Speaker 1 (51:05):
I said brown the other day yeah, I missed
something.
I said brown the other day ohman, what an insult.

Speaker 2 (51:10):
I was so mad.
I was like you called my littleJeep brown because it just
happened to get rained on anddirty.
I was like wash it off orsomething.
Man, it's a black Jeep but youknow, black fades out a little
bit, it grays out, you know.
You got to give it a freshlittle coat of plastidip, which
I'm going to be doing soon alexis going to be over soon to uh

(51:32):
do the couple things he needs todo to the jeep.
We have a hot water heater thatwe got to get replaced in omars
and we got a mini split that weneed to have installed in omar
studio.
Yeah, but after that he has anice little setup in there.
Now he does got the bed frame, got the computer desk, microwave
, refrigerator sink.
You know a little kitchenette, little kitchen in there.

(51:54):
He has a closet, he has ashower and a in a bath or a
shower in a toilet yep he hashis own little spot back there.
I know rick did a lot of goodwork.
Um, you know r Rick's been busy.
You know he's been taking allthe jobs he can take.

Speaker 1 (52:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (52:11):
So he's been, you know, splitting them up.
I know He'll be at our houseone day, he'll be at another
house, you know, another day,and another house another day,
another house another day, andthen he'll be back over here in
three or four days, right, yeah,I can't blame the, the guy.

(52:34):
You know you got to take thebusiness when you get it, but
it's okay.
I mean, we're not in a rush, no, no, and he does great work.
He does, so I'm not worriedabout it.

Speaker 1 (52:38):
he finished up our uh , our light switch over here and
our uh, our entryway and the?

Speaker 2 (52:39):
uh, what's the?
Uh?
Where these led pucks.
We got led puck in the entryway.
You know the recessed lightingor whatnot yeah, makes a huge
difference oh yeah, and theneverything is driven by google.
You know our backyard lights, automatic on and off, dusk and
dawn, front porch, automaticdusk and dawn.

(53:00):
Google controls everything else.
We can dim all the lights.
We can turn the lights on off, backlight on the TV, thermostat,
vacuums, washer dryer what elsedo we control with that thing?
All the time We've beenstarting our grocery list on it,
oh yeah yeah.
So we just tell Google hey, Ineed you to add some fresh

(53:22):
jalapenos to our grocery list, and it adds it to our list.
So then we just open it up.
We've got check boxes on it.
We open up our Instacart, addthose items and order away.

Speaker 1 (53:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (53:35):
Or you can go to the store, but I'm not going.
I'm not going.

Speaker 1 (53:37):
I think sometimes you spend a little more when you go
to the store.

Speaker 2 (53:41):
You do, you do.
That's what they're designedfor.

Speaker 1 (53:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (53:43):
Especially Costco.
That's what stores are designedfor.
They're designed to.
Yeah, I know you love Costco.

Speaker 1 (53:50):
I love Costco.

Speaker 2 (53:51):
Okay, we had a thing that we were talking about the
other night and Marion's love ofthings that begin with the
letter C.

Speaker 1 (53:58):
NU letter M.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
M.
What were mine?

Speaker 1 (54:03):
Movies, Music movies.

Speaker 2 (54:05):
Music movies.

Speaker 1 (54:06):
Money.

Speaker 2 (54:07):
What do you mean?
Money, just because I make alot of it?

Speaker 1 (54:11):
doesn't mean I Money honey.
Who doesn't?

Speaker 2 (54:13):
love money.

Speaker 1 (54:14):
Everybody loves money .

Speaker 2 (54:15):
You know, and money.

Speaker 1 (54:17):
For me it's cash.

Speaker 2 (54:18):
Yeah, same shit.
Cash casinos, Costco.
What were the other ones?
I don't remember.
One of them is a yeah, youcan't say that one.
It rhymes with mock Jesus.

(54:43):
Woman, you can't be talkinglike that on here.
What are your other CsChristmas?

Speaker 1 (54:48):
Yeah, christmas.

Speaker 2 (54:50):
Yeah, Christmas.

Speaker 1 (54:51):
But Christmas, you like Christmas too.

Speaker 2 (54:54):
Yeah, but it's not my favorite holiday which is your
favorite.
Maybe Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1 (54:59):
Thanksgiving.

Speaker 2 (55:00):
Maybe you know, because Thanksgiving isn't about
giving and receiving andeverything.
It's just about family sittingdown.

Speaker 1 (55:08):
Well, I don't think Christmas is either.

Speaker 2 (55:12):
For who?
The majority of the population?

Speaker 1 (55:14):
Well, I know, but Christmas is not for that.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
That's not what it's supposed to be no, but that's
what it became.
It's become a materialistic,it's become a shopping thing,
Just like Cinco de Mayo.
That's not a real holiday.

Speaker 1 (55:27):
Yeah, like for me, like I don't care to get any
gifts, but I do like to see ourgirls faces light yeah, we
talked about that.

Speaker 2 (55:35):
You know it's different when you're an adult
versus when you're a kid it iswhat makes us happy is fixing
our sprinkler head.
Hey, hey, you know what makesme happy, and this is what I
told Mary and I wanted forChristmas.
I want some some mulch, I wantsome sand, I want some Epsom
salts, I want some grass seed.

(55:57):
You know, the things that Iwant are either to make our home
more aesthetically beautiful, pleasing, whatever it may be, or
things that are going to makeus money.

Speaker 1 (56:10):
Or things that make our life easier.
Yeah, right, uh-huh.

Speaker 2 (56:15):
Which is why we integrate Google into everything
.
Our alarm system, everything isGoogle, everything.
We can control everything byGoogle, by our voice.
For the most part, yeah, because, hey, we work three,
four jobs and yeah, we work, youknow, 14 days straight 10 hour,
12 hour, 14 hour days.
If, if I can have a robotvacuuming my house, I'm going to

(56:36):
I can't wait till we get a newstove yeah, we need a new stove,
we need a new uh refrigerator,a new dishwasher and I really,
really, really want to buy a newrobot that has a mop built into
it.

Speaker 1 (56:52):
Yes, that would be cool.

Speaker 2 (56:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (56:55):
Which we're going to have to have too.

Speaker 2 (56:57):
But you know, what's so nice is when those robots run
automatically at the time wehave them set at and you come
home and everything is picked up, everything's.
You know there's vacuum lineson your carpet and on your rugs.
You know it's like you comehome to a clean house every day.
It's really nice.
It's a nice thing Google is.

(57:19):
We're still working on thehouse, still working on the
backyard, still working on theshop, still working on the
studio.
Working on the backyard, stillworking on the shop, still
working on the studio, stillworking on all kinds of things,
little electric outlets here andthere.
Still working on some movingboxes oh yeah, we still got
stuff that hasn't been unpacked,I'm to the point where I'm like

(57:39):
babe throw it away let's justcall swift and have them throw
it away well, there's money outthere, so we gotta sort through
things.

Speaker 1 (57:47):
I know, I know I know , but I'm just saying, like it's
just I'm gonna bring I don'twant like.
We don't want clutter like it'sjust no, absolutely not.

Speaker 2 (57:56):
That is not permitted in this home and it's just like
.
It's just things that haveaccumulated throughout the years
and I'll tell you guys why it'snot permitted in our home is
because of my mental health.
For me it's not only in ourhome, is because of my mental
health.
For me, not only cleanliness, but for my mental health.

(58:16):
If our room or our house isjust a filthy mess, it really
does have an effect on my mentalhealth.

Speaker 1 (58:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (58:21):
Whereas when things are nice and clean and cozy.
So is my mind.

Speaker 1 (58:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (58:26):
But when things are crazy, so is my mind yeah, but
when things are, crazy.

Speaker 1 (58:29):
So is my mind.
Yeah, I mean, just imagine youwork all day and then you come
home to a dirty house, you know?

Speaker 2 (58:36):
I mean that just kind of puts you in a mood you know,
what's funny though is is backin the days, and a lot of women
and a lot of moms and a lot ofgrandmas are still like this
they will not go to sleep with adirty kitchen.
They do not want to wake up toa dirty kitchen, so they will
not go to sleep to one.

Speaker 1 (58:56):
No.

Speaker 2 (58:57):
And there's little things that I understand now
that when my mom was raising me,after my mom and dad divorced,
that I wasn't the best kid, Iwasn't the most responsible or
anything else.
I just wasn't and I didn'tunderstand what the fucking big
deal was.
What's the big deal?

(59:18):
Just do it tomorrow, wash ittomorrow, do this tomorrow, take
care of it whenever.
Why is it such a big deal?
But now that I'm 44, I fuckingknow why it's a big deal it is.
It's a big deal, yeah, but nowthat I'm 44, I fucking know why
it's a big deal.

Speaker 1 (59:29):
It's a big deal like if my kitchen is dirty, I'm not
cooking until the kitchen'sclean yeah, you will not cook.

Speaker 2 (59:36):
I will not in a dirty kitchen.

Speaker 1 (59:37):
I hate a dirty kitchen yeah I hate it like okay
, one or two dishes, whatever, but I have to have a clean
kitchen to cook.

Speaker 2 (59:49):
Yeah, yeah.
Well, guys, we are going on atabout an hour, which is a lot
longer than I thought we weregoing to make it for a short

hamburgers, drinks eating yeahplaying music and podcasting yep
, it can be our holiday special,oh yeah.
Yeah, hey, most dope the holidayspecial.
