Katie Schneider is a family medicine physician as well as a physician development coach. In addition to her clinical practice she developed a passion for wellbeing within health care and has spent nearly 10 years focusing work in this arena. She works with individuals and their specific coaching needs as well as serves as an institutional system medical director for provider wellbeing. This role as director for provider wellbeing is through St. Luke's Health System, located primarily in Idaho, but is also institution wide - including all sites. Within her system work she focuses on structure change within healthcare to improve wellbeing of providers. Lastly, she remains a steadfast champion for gratitude. Today Katie talks about so many helpful topics to help all of us shift to better wellbeing. We talk about burnout, leadership, implementing safety-net programs, safety + change, boundaries, and much more.
