Why is innovation ignored in the "wellness" space? Trainers are typically afraid to take a chance. They fear upsetting their clients because they never really why someone hires them. They do know that at any minute any "devoted" client may leave without any explanation.

MORE Branding. More avoidance of HOW MUCH you put in your mouth. More confusion. Matcha Tea is now a super food even though you mostly drink it. Be warned. Branding not content. More ways to identify yourself you seem to be going with the right trends.

Somatic exercises which no one has even heard of are going mainstream according to John Wiley Publishers who added this  title  to their DUMMIES Series. To be included in this  brand, the subject has to be of interest to everyone. Now that 80Bites is gaining an audience, it's really interesting to hear people's reactions. Some think 80 bites means the number of bites you take in one meal, while others believe it refers to 80 chews. It’s all part of the shift from what you eat to how much.

As a female who is 84 years old, I'm deluged with invitations to talk at "Women's Empowerment" conferences to talk to young women about how they can succeed at becoming an entrepreneur. I decline because I'm what I like to think of as a "reluctant entrepreneur".

In this episode of Body Conversations, Joan Breibart discusses why consumers are so easily suckered into doing things for their bodies that are obviously ineffective—and why, even after hundreds of articles have exposed this marketing concept as unrelated to how many steps you should take a day, they continue to parrot those ideas.

I'm being asked to be a guest on podcast. These are about wellness, but it's also an indication of how incredibly lazy and screwed up this country is marketing people or actual podcasts. Find me on LinkedIn and they just project because I'm in the Pilates business they never look at anything I've written or said I'm telling you now don't listen anymore unless you're just doing it to make negative ...

Another day, another miracle food list—this time courtesy of Mel Robbins and Dr. Li, who swear dark chocolate (80–90% cacao), pomegranate juice, and five daily cups of coffee will melt fat and change your life. But don’t question the “science”—just buy the magic foods, shut up, and eat. Meanwhile, Joan Breibart cuts through the wellness hype with brutal clarity, humor, and a $537 eyedrop story you won’t forget.

It’s St. Patrick’s Day in NYC, and I’m calling out the self-help industrial complex—starting with Mel Robbins. Millions love her. I can’t stop watching her. But her 5-second rule doesn’t fit my chaos.

This episode breaks down why her sob story sells and mine doesn’t, how my Pilates invention got hijacked by direct-marketing vultures, and why the algorithm thinks Tony Robbins is my next guru.
