Bjorn investigates opportunities for Stantec to grow both geographically and in capability.

He oversees all aspects of strategic sourcing, execution, and integration in their acquisitions, aiming to deliver Company growth that benefits their communities, clients, employees, and shareholders. 

During his time with Stantec, Bjorn has worked on well over 100 acquisitions, large and small, each broadening the Company’s depth and breadth of expertise.

When not searching for acquisition prospects, Bjorn spends his time keeping himself physically active—he’s a past Norwegian basketball champion, a Canadian biathlon champion, and a regular competitor in triathlons and marathons. He’s also the honorary consul for Norway in Northern Alberta, and he serves on the Business Advisory Council for his alma mater, the Alberta School of Business.
