We will be doing The Cruel Prince by Holly Black in this episode. This episode will be doing a readalong of The Cruel Prince of chapters 17-20.
In chapters 17-20 of "The Cruel Prince" by Holly Black, Jude's plan to put Prince Balekin on the throne of Faerie begins to take shape, as she gains valuable allies and information. However, her scheme is threatened by the arrival of her father, who reveals a shocking secret about Jude's past. Meanwhile, Jude's complicated relationship with Prince Cardan takes a surprising turn, as he begins to show her unexpected kindness and vulnerability. But as the coronation draws near, Jude's enemies become increasingly desperate, and she finds herself facing betrayal and danger at every turn. With her own life and the fate of the Faerie court at stake, Jude must make a series of difficult choices and sacrifices to ensure that her plan succeeds. The tension builds to a dramatic climax, as the true extent of Jude's power and cunning is revealed.
