Your immune system is very important. When we think about

white blood cells, red blood cells, and white blood cells.
The red blood cells give you your oxygen and your
blood flow, your circulation. Your white blood cells that's your
immune sett They help to fight off the bad stuff.

they fight bacteria, and there's lymphocytes that fight viruses, and
there'scinophyls that fight different allergies. So we have all these

these white blood cells, needs these specific white blood cells
to fight off different things. You have different bacteria that

all different role goals and jobs for these types of
cells in your body. With the white blood cells, so
they're basically supposed to you know, when a bacteria comes in,
it's supposed to say, hey, we don't like this bacteria.

and then take over. Now, why can these bacteria or
viruses replicate? Now they're going to be strong if your
body is acidic. I don't if you remember in chemistry

So you can have an acidic environment or you can
have an alkaline environment. For your immune system to function best,
we need an alkaline environment. So we're going to avoid
things that make us a cidic, most of which comes

the dairy products, the sugar products, the grains, and the
wheat products. Most of the white stuff creates the acidic environment.
Low oxygen creates an acidic environment. Dehydration creates an acidic environment. Okay,

We need to make sure we get enough oxygen. Oxygen
is so important, you know, especially in the New York
City area with so much pollution and they, you know,
chop down all the trees. That's why we have hyperbaric

you have an oxygen chamber, it's one hundred percent oxygen

what if you kill the good bacteria. So when you
take antibiotics, you kill the good bacteria. When you do
listering mouthwash, you kill the good bacteria. Right when you

put all these alcohol bleaches antibacterial, you kill off all
the good bacteria. Now your body is made of mostly bacteria.
Your body has more bacteria than cells, so you're walking

we got to make sure we have more of the
good bacteria and less than a bad bacteria. So I
love probiotics, and I love switching up probiotics all the time.
You want to switch probiotics every two months, and you

the amount of probiotics you're getting in the yogurt not

and anti aging, and res veratrol is very healthy, but
it's better to get it from Japanese not weed, to
actually eat the red grapes than to drink the wine
because the amount of wine you have to drink, the

So is it worth taking antibiotics? Is it worth killing

that bacteria when you're going to save all your good bacteria?
Now it's going to make you more susceptible to future
infections because it's going to ruin your immune system. The
more antibiotics you've taken in your life, the weaker your
immune system gets. The more anti acids you take, the

fever and you take medication to bring down your fever,
now your immune system gets weakened. You're heating up to

that we have a horrible country and we're horrible people. Now,

It's our health. That's the worst thing about our country

the most suicides. We're unhealthy. That's what we gotta change.

system is underactive, but you can also get sick because

your immune system is overactive. In fact, that's even more common.
That's called autoimmune disease, where the immune system is overactive
and it's so overactive that the body is attacking itself.
And if it attacks your thyroid, they're gonna call it

hashimotos or Graves disease. If it attacks your skin and nails,
they're gonna call it psoriasis. If they tax your face,
they're gonna call it loupis. If it attacks your joints,
they're gonna call it rheumatoid arthritis. That attacks your gut,

they're gonna call it multiple sclerosis. So we have all
these different autoimmune diseases, but they're all they are is
the body attacking itself, and depending on which part of
the body they're attacking, they'll label it according to that
autoimmune disease. But the solution is the same. It's to
calm down the overactive immune system. Everything's gone haywire. So

if the immune system is overactive, we need to relax it,
and there's lots of ways to relax. One of the
ways is to reduce any foods that are gonna trigger
autoimmune system. The biggest triggers are grains, dairy products, corn, soy, coffee,

and alcohol. Those are the big six triggers for autoimmune disease.
It's the overactive immune system. And when your immune system's overactive,
it's going to be all and stress mode. So these
type of people, they might have anxiety, they might have

troubles sleep, so it's not just the autoimmune disease, but
the brain is overactive. You might worry, panic, aggression, anger,
short fuse. Right, the nervous system's overactive. The immune system's overactive.

Guess what else gets overactive? The muscles. You get neck pain,
back pain, joint pain. It's all the muscles are in
spasm while the joints are inflamed. Everything's overactive. Might be overheated,
sweat a lot, right, So if you're overactive, you're overfiring,

you're overheated. We got to cool you down. One of
the best ways to cool you down is dipping your
face in a bowl of ice water that's fifty degreas
fahrenheit for thirty seconds, three times a day. That relaxes
your nervous system. It cools you down, It brings down
the inflammation, gets your para sympathetic nervous system working better,

helps with your heart, your lungs, your gut, your detoxification,
your immune system. Right, so sometimes the immune systems overactive.
We need to chill it out. So you're gonna avoid
those six foods. You're gonna try your dip in your
face in a bowl of ice water. Okay, then you

gotta get your circadium rhythms in order. So at nighttime,
we want to bring down cornisol. Cortisol's the stress hormone. Okay,
now what increases cortisol at night? The TV? What do
a lot of people do at night? They watch TV?
What else increases cortisol? The computer? What do a lot

of people do at night? They're on a computer. What
else stimulates cortisol? Your cell phone? What else people do
it night? They look at their cell phone, their iPad?
This all stimulates cornisol. So if you want to get
good sleep, good detoxification, you want to increase your energy,

your focus, your function. You want to calm down your
autoimmune disease, your nervous system dysfunction. You gotta avoid all
the electronics and think TV, iPad, computer, cell phone, avoid
it all, and you really want to do it four

hours before bedtime. So if you're going to bed at
ten pm, then you should be done with all screens
by six Unplug, turn off your WiFi. Okay, don't use
Wi Fi. Use ethernet, which is a wire cable. Don't
use bluetooth, use wire headphones. Stop using all the wireless technology.

Start using wire technology. That's much healthier. Don't do the
Wi Fi through the ethernet cable. It's much safer, okay, kinda,
you know, reduce your electromagnetic frequencies, okay, especially if you
have a one immune disease, because the more electromagnetic frequency

that increase in immune system trigger. So not only are
the six food's gonna trigger it, but the five G signals,
the Wi Fi signals, the Bluetooth signals. It's like you're
a walking microwave. I don't gotta calm down the immune system.

Heavy metals. We gotta get rid of those heavy metals.
They're everywhere. Your aluminum cans, aluminum foil, aluminum pans, the tingfoil.
Don't pack your food or cook your food with aluminum.
Use parchment paper, don't use aluminum pans, Use stainless steel. Okay,

get rid of that aluminum. Make sure your deorderment doesn't
have aluminum. Medicine has a lot of aluminum. There's aluminum
in the air that's gonna trigger on immune disease. Mercury
it's in the fish. It's also in some medicine in
the form of thimerisol. It's even in the flu vaccine. Lead,

it's in the old paint. It in the water pipes, arsenic,
it's an apple juice, rice round, rice, cadmium, it's in
fried chicken, fluorides in the water, in the toothpaste, and

the dentists. I mean, there's so much bad chemicals we're
exposed to. And what about the chemicals on the food, right,
So even if you're eating your fruits and veggies, it's
full of glycostate around, pesticides, herbs. Those trigger autoimmune disease

Act disease where people of gluten intolerance. But we've been
finding it's actually more of the pesticize and herbicide that
people react to than the actual wheat, because when they

So a lot of times it's not actually the grains
and the wheat, but it's what they spray on the foods.
In America has the least stringent laws, and they let
the agricultural companies poison our foods with all these pesticides
and herbicize and chemicals and the genetically modified seeds and

it's all full of poison. It's very scary. You know,
we need clean water, we need clean food, we need
clean air, we need sunlight, clean soil. That's the most
important thing we want to get healthy. We need to
clean our environment. The environment, it's causing a lot of

our problems. So when you expose to these chemicals, these foods,
these toxins that the brain doesn't like, it triggers autoimmune disease.
So we have to avoid now stress. Emotional stress will
do it too. So not just the food, not just
the electro magnetic frequencies, not just all the chemicals, but

emotional stress will cause the autoimmune system to be triggered
and be overactive. So you gotta chill out and don't
be around people that stress you out. Surround yourself with happy,
healthy people, joyful, loving, charitable, not complainers, not negative people.

Function better, feel better, and live a better life. This
is doctor Eric Kaplan, and you're listening to boost your
brain power. Now. We don't want your immune system underactive.
That's not good, and then you're gonna be more susceptible
to sickness. But you also don't want your immune system overactive.
(38:21):
That's going to create more problems. Then you're gonna have
to crash. So it's all about finding that happy medium,
and that goes with everything right. You don't want too
much B vitamins and you don't want too little B vitamins.
I see a lot of people overdo it with their supplements.
(38:42):
You don't want too much iron, you don't want too
little iron. You don't want too much magnesium. You don't
want too little magnesium. You don't want too much cholesterol,
but you don't want too little cholesterol. You don't want
your glucose numbers being too high, and you don't want
them being too low. It's all about finding that happy medium.
But some doctors, right, they just want to keep everything low. No,
(39:06):
that's not good. You don't want your blood pressure too low,
it's not good. You don't want your cholesterol too low,
that's not good. You want your thyroid levels too low,
that's not good. You got to keep an eye on it.
Sometimes the medication overworks. Sometimes the cure is worse than
the condition. That's why it's important if you are taking
(39:27):
medication to monitor, if you're taking blood pressure medication, monitor
your blood pressure make sure it doesn't get too low.
If you're taking diabetes medication, monitor and make sure you
don't get too low. For taking supplements, monitor, make sure
you don't get too high. Right, You got to monitor,
You got to test, You got to do the appropriate
(39:49):
analysis to see if you're doing what's going to help you.
What if you're doing is harmful. Supplements can be harmful,
Vitamins can be harmful, ivs can be harmful. Not just
medicine and surgeries. That's harmful. You know, if you take
something that you don't need, that's really bad. I can't
tell you how many patients are taking calcium that don't
(40:11):
need it and it becomes toxic. Or they're taking be
complex and they don't need it becomes toxic. They're taking
iron pills and they don't need it, it becomes toxic.
Or you're taking cholesterol pills you don't need it, it
becomes toxic. You want to be a minimalist. You want
(40:33):
to take the least amount of medicine, the least amount
of supplements, the least amount of vitamins, the least amount
of homeopathic, the least amount of herbs, and the least
amount of food. It's healthy to go to bed hungry.
You're not supposed to go to bed on a full stomach.
That's really bad for digestion. The best way to practice
is intermittent fasting. That's where you don't eat for four
(40:57):
hours before bed, and you don't eat for four hours
when you wake up. You're only eating eight hours in
the middle of the day when you're most active and
doing the most activity. Just logic. A lot of the
stuff they teach you is logic, right. Don't drink milk,
(41:18):
it's logic. You're not a baby. Milk is for babies.
Milk is for when you can't eat. That's the way
nature intended. It's logic, and it's definitely illogical to not
drink another species milk. Humans drink human milk, Goat drink
oat milk, Sheep bink drink sheep milk, and cows drink
cow's milk. We're the only species on the planet that
(41:40):
drinks cow's milk. Sheep milks goat milk. No, you should
only be drinking human milk, and you should only be
drinking human milk when you're an infant, and you can't.
You don't have teeth to digest food. Okay, So stop
drinking milk, stop eating cheese. I don't care if it's organic.
I don't care if it's you know, raw, unpasteurized, pasteurides, lactate,
(42:04):
lactose free, two fat free. I don't care what type
of milk it is. Don't drink it, don't eat it.
Don't have yogurt. I don't care if they tell you
it's got probiotics. Don't have cheese. I don't care what
they tell you. Don't eat creamy sauces, Caesar dressing, range dressing,
(42:26):
no parmesan, don't do it. Avoid it all sour cream, cream, cheese,
cottage cheese. We need to avoid all dairy products. They
do not do anything good for your body. Okay, avoid
(42:50):
all dairy products. It's just logic. Okay, logic. Eat real food. Okay,
it's not rocket science. Eat real food the way God
intended it from the earth, not in boxes and cans
and bags, packaged preserved non perishables. Come on. Eat whole
(43:14):
foods directly from the earth, one ingredient at a time.
And it's also good to eat the foods separately, like
eat fruit by itself and then have a salad. Eat
your vegetables then have your protein. You know, your fish
(43:36):
or your chicken, and your fat, your walnuts, your avocado. Okay,
eat those food separately. It's called food combining. You don't
want to mix up the enzymes. Most people there screwed
up gut. They don't have good acid, they don't have
good digestive enzymes, they don't have good bacteria. Their gut
microbiome is bad. And from whatever it is, taking antibiotics,
(43:59):
taking acids, all the purel all the poor diet, you know,
the poor sleep, poor autonomic nervous system. You know, But
how do you know if your brain's functioning well? If
it's not functioning well, You got to do tests. The
best test to do to tell whether your brain's overactive,
(44:19):
which is going to trigger your autoimmune system where everything's weak,
it's gonna trigger underactive immune system, or it's gonna tell
us you have a memory problem. Do you have troubles
with focus, motivation, organization, planning, shifting tests? You have depression? Anxiety?
Do you have short term memory loss, long term memory loss,
sequential memory, working memory? Do you have low dopamine, LOWESSEDO cold?

Do you have white matter inflammation in your brain? Do
you have toxic stress. Do you have a thigorary problem
in testinal inflammation? Do you have sensory issues seeing, hearing, balance?
It literally picks up everything. It's called a qEEG brain mapping.
