William "Billy" Moore joined Vondale Singleton live at CHAMPS Saturday for this Live Audience Podcast recording.  He discussed his new book "Until The Lion Speaks"  Having been incarcerated for twenty years for the shooting incident that led to No #1 player in the nation, Benji Wilson's death in 1984.  He also was a victim of gun violence when he lost   his own son to gun violence.

Mr. Moore devotes his life to ensuring that other young men live lives of meaningful purpose as opposed to regret.  CRED’s holistic approach brings together proven models—street outreach, life coaching, and counseling, violence prevention, workforce development, advocacy and prevention— to create transformative change in the South and West side communities of Chicago.  Mr. Moore has been coined a violence interrupter as his hands on work and sharing of his life’s experiences has had a noted impact on countless individuals who needed a compassionate counselor to expose them to hope and lead them from criminal and violent lifestyles.
