I had such a powerful conversation recently on the Transforming 45 podcast, with host Lisa Boate, where we discussed how to transform your body image….I just had to share it with you.
Growing up, many of us internalized messages about how our bodies should look, creating a skewed perception that often leads to self-criticism.
In this interview I got very vulnerable and opened up about my own journey through having a distorted, negative body image, and how living through breast cancer completely changed the way I viewed and treated my body
We also talked about the complex issue of weight, how to overcome societal pressures to look a certain way, and how to cultivate self-care, self-love, and body appreciation.
