Is THIS affecting your leadership? đź‘€
👏🏾 Leadership should always supersede friendship 👏🏾
Every. Single. Time.
No one person is bigger than the entire team. 🙅🏾‍♀️
The minute one person feels like they’re bigger than the whole team (because of who their friends are), the group crumbles.
Placing friendships over the ability to be effective leaders happens more often than we think.
We don’t want to make the tough decisions, especially if it’s our friend’s work that isn’t going well...
We’re naturally resistant when it’s time to call out these challenges and create change.
👉🏾 This is not a good place to be.
On the podcast, I share:
đź’Ą How I worked hard to make sure that the friend who was responsible for my hiring at an optical company never regretted her referral
đź’Ą Why some people have the title, but not the talent, to be a leader
If you’re stuck in the wrong order of friendship over leadership, then it’s time to see how to turn it around so that you become the leader you want to be.
