Hank Brennan, did a decent job in humanizing John to the jury, then Hank, proceeded to run from whatever evidence he had managed to produce. He tore into his own witnesses, including the medical examiner, a lot of question marks in his closing, he came across as whiny, hurt and incompetent. Only because that's reality.
