Two factions of the Lusi clan, clashed in the North End the night before the shooting. A long simmering beef, pertaining to drug profits and neighborhood respect, came to a head inside a nintey-nine restaurant, at lunch time in Charlestown, Ma. Robert Lusi was known in the North End as a bully, however he was a made member of the mafia. He liked to use knives and threaten people. He was seen as a braggart and attention seeking gangster. His son Roman may have been worse, it had been said that Roman was a killer and he would kill for the smallest reason. This crew was battling with another crew, led by Bobby Lusi, Robert's other son. Bobby was also a capo in the mob, but with another family. This issue came to a head inside the pub. Five would be shot, four would not survive. Please share this episode!!
