Together we will explore the bountiful, abundant life we have in Christ and learn how to walk in victory despite the challenges, trials, and adversity we encounter. "A thief has only one thing in mind - he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But, I (Christ) have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect - life in its fullness until you overflow." John 10:10 TPT
My dear friends, Jess Luttrell of Cosplay 4 Christ and Laura Farrar, author and artist, join us as guests to delve into the supernatural.
Combating the Spirit of Offense:
"Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him who is the head, into Christ," Ephesians 4:15 ESV
"Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense." Proverbs 19:11 ESV
My dear friends, Jess Luttrell of Cosplay 4 Christ and Laura Farrar, author and artist, join us as guests to delve into the supernatural.
"Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the he...
The Gospel is the Good News that Christ has come to set us free from the law of sin and death.
"And the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him (Jesus). He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written,
'The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty ...
As Christians, we are ambassadors of the Gospel; have we gone forth boldly to share the good news, or are we ashamed of it?
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Greek [Gentile]." Romans 1:16 NASB
"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and...
Although we can overcomplicate it, prayer is simply conversing with the one true God, Yahweh, our Father in Heaven, the Creator of the Universe. The Bible tells us to revere His position and remember to speak to Him in humility.
However, God can also handle the real, raw, cries of our heart as we see in the pages of the Book of Job, "The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord." Job 1:21 NASB I...
"Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.'” James 4:14-15 ESV
You may not know the direction the Lord has for you, but as you surrender your will to His, He will show you the steps to take and light the path ahead.
You can trust Him to provide, an...

Welcome to the 2nd-anniversary episode of the podcast!!
“For it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear has heard, nor has entered into the heart of man the things God has prepared for those who love Him.’” 1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV
This scripture was my "life verse" in my twenties. Revisiting it almost twenty years later I think I was misinterpreting its meaning. Today on the podcast we will look at what this scriptu...

"There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every matter under heaven—" Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NASB)
There are many seasons in our lives, but through it all, we can trust the God of the universe to equip us, strengthen us, and provide for us in every moment.
"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a ...
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and love and sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7 ESV
Fear is not from God.
Whether you are tormented by nightmares, fearful of scary movies or fear failure, fear steals our peace and leads to anxiety and terror. For all who love the Lord and put their trust in Him we do not have to fear or be afraid.
As it says in Josuha 1:6 "Have I not com...
Today, I have my first-ever interview with my good friend Christy. She is a young professional who wants to encourage women to know that we are not alone.
On the podcast, we talk about the different seasons of life we go through as women, and how to stay closely connected to the Lord and surround ourselves with others who are like-minded in our Christian faith.
You are not alone!
"There are so many other peo...

Do you ever wonder, why am I here? What is my purpose for living?
God has gifted you with a unique, one-of-a-kind calling. He has equipped you with talents and spiritual gifts to bring heaven to this earth and glory to His name.
In this episode, we discuss the difference between a calling and a career:
"A calling is what you're made to do,
A career is what you're paid to do."
As we celebrate the one year mark of the Bountiful Living podcast, Katie shares how she is learning to abide in Christ. Life in Christ is one that transforms us, steadies us and gives us joy and peace in the midst of suffering and an overstuffed calendar.
We discuss:

Life doesn't always turn out like we expect or plan. How do we navigate these roadblocks? Today we continue our study of the Book of Ezra we will identify some of the tactics the enemy can use against us to frustrate us and attempt to halt the work God is doing in our lives.
We find our victory in Christ: "We are hard pressed on all sides, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsa...
Where are you in your walk with the Lord?
1. at the epic newness of salvation
2. captivity/going my own way/drifting
3. needing to rebuild
4. mature believer
5. on fire
If your connection with God is severed, you can rebuild.
We cover a lot of ground in this episode. Here are some of the scriptures we discussed for your reference:
Old Covenant? New Covenant? What is the difference?
What does the Bible say about revival?
The only verse that states the word revival verbatim is found in Ezra 9:8 and this specific verbiage is found only in the New King James translation, where it says, “And now for a little while grace has been shown from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and give us a measure of revival in our bondage.”
How do we hear from God?
We must first posture ourselves to hear what the Lord speaks. We must come to a place of willingness to seek God and hear what He speaks through prayer and reading His Word.
1 Peter 3:12 (ESV) “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer.”
Jeremiah 33:3 (ESV) “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have n...

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
