” Bout that Life ” AAU Basketball and Life talk podcast Episode 52

Coach C. Collins is ready to talk more AAU basketball, life and everything in between. In this episode, the coach had a chance to sit down with with Coach Tom of Nor Cal Dynasty and Coach Mel of HUI(formerly Hawaii Heat).  Coach Tom has been a huge part of the Northern California and Sacramento/Rocklin area coaching scene with over 16 years in the game.  Tom currently has one of the strongest independent girls programs in the area and is always doing something to push for the kids and basketball community. Whether its video's with Driffty Jay, open runs for everyone with media, or simply sitting and having conversations with his kids Coach Tom passion for the AAU space has been felt by everyone. Coach Tom was also a former YBA coach as well starting with Ken Geee the founder and coaching the first 9th grade DAWGS yba team.

Coach Mel has been an official, director and coach and has no plans of stopping. Also he has a very notable YouTube channel and over 65K followers on instagram making funny videos and content. Coach Mel is originally from Hawaii and is a man of the people. He always shows respect to those who do the same and his son is stepping into his senior year at Rocklin high where he is hoping to go after a state title. Coach Collins and Mel have had many fun stories and battles to share as the kids they all coached for years are graduating or have graduated high school already.
