As a transgender, two-spirit woman, Aubrey’s identity placed her at greater risk in a community already grappling with systemic gaps in missing persons cases. Her family launched desperate searches and demanded answers, but for years, the mystery of her disappearance loomed large.
Six years later, her remains were discovered in a wooded area, bringing heartbreaking closure, yet still no accountability. What happened to Aubrey that night? Why did it take so long to find her? And who is responsible?
