What is it like stepping back into the world (and works) of Dr. Seuss, after growing up reading them? It's surely an interesting experience, as we're able to explore books such as Horton Hears a Who, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and The Cat in the Hat through the lens of a young adult. Does the work still hold the same magic that it once did? If you ask the cast of Tread the Board Theatre's production of Seussical the Musical, the magic never dulls! We spoke with two of the cast members, Jessie Brault and Rachael Spangler, about their time on the production and what audiences can expect!

In this exclusive Box Seat Babes interview, Jessie Brault and Rachael Spangler discuss their experience stepping into the world of Dr. Seuss. Brault discusses a point in their life when they weren't a fan of the show and explores how their perception has changed since being cast as Horton! Both actors discuss what drew them to this production and what about Seussical the Musical stood out to them! Listen in as they discuss which songs are their favorite to perform and which themes from the show resonate the most with them!

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
