Welcome back to Bracket Banter, everyone! It's an exciting time of year because it means we're getting closer to real football.
The NFL Preseason Week 1 schedule is almost here, and it all kicks off with the Hall of Fame Game on July 31st, 2025. This year, we'll see the Los Angeles Chargers face off against the Detroit Lions in that special opening game. For a lot of players, especially those on the roster bubble, these are their last chances to prove they belong on a team. You'll see a lot of intense competition as players try to make their mark. It's also a great opportunity to get a first look at the rookies. We need to remember, as Steelers OC Arthur Smith cautions, that preseason results can "distort reality", so fans shouldn't overreact too much to early offensive struggles especially in the 2025 NFL Preseason schedule and the regular season schedules.
Last season, we got to see Bo Nix named his team's starter super early, and other rookie QB's find their footing before having great seasons. Now, we'll get to see who is in our 2025 NFL storeline.
