because you slay this show by thetime I got on the show.
But when I watched your season,I didn't understand and you were mad at

think they wal I don't think theywatched this show before Carson and Cynthia,
because when you were when you decidedto flip the house, they thought you

in awe that that you flipped it, and I was like, these people
are aren't game players, but yougot a lot of hate. I did,

house and I was gonna do interviewsbecause I am a super fan of the

show. I've watched every single season, I think, except for maybe the
first three seasons, and I justhad not seen somebody be that ostracized by
their castmates, even though they haddone I feel personally like there are things
that I can take accountability for it, but I feel like there was there's
a double standard here for sure,because there are people, if you've watched

the show, that have done ohthings. I mean Tiffany Pollard. Love
her one of my closest like aclose friend and a Hollywood friend, and
we just did a song together.But she has a line where she says,
pretty much, I would let jemand know she's a fat cunt like
and that's an iconic line that dragqueens say all the time and use.
They stopped their music and in themiddle of the music, they say these

I thought that Big Brother is likealmost like you're supposed to screw everyone over
it, like that is the nameof the game television, and it's all
in good fun and whoever can bethe most ruthless but still be strategic to
get to the end, and whoplays from beginning to end should win.

I feel like I was at areally unfair, not unfair disadvantage. I
was grateful for it, but whenI went in the house, I was
asked to be in every single alliance. So some people are like, why
didn't you just lay low? Iwas like, I was the only person
in the house not able to laylow. Misha was on one side,
all of Cynthia and Carson, everybodyknew where they lied. But I was
the only person who got asked tobe on every team, so I didn't

have the luxury of sitting in thehouse babes and not doing anything. I
had to play and yeah, youplay your game the way you want to
play your game as well. Iwas like, I was kind of like,
wow, this backlash is crazy becausehe played the game better than anyone
else. I didn't understand, honestly, why you got it? And I
was reading all these things most hatedman in Hollywood, you know Hollywood,

like toxic Tadrick. I'm like,I'm trying to figure out and I love
Cynthia and Carson, but they shouldnot be playing Baby Brother. They did
not know what they were doing.And I was like, oh, you
guys, I really I was justlike, maybe watched the game before you
come in and try to play it. But why do you think you got

so much backlash? I don't know. I think that I mean, it's
a difficult subject to talk about,and I think that it is more complicated,
and I think that most people wouldwant me to just be like,
you were just an asshole. Idon't think that's the case. I think
if you watch the energy that wasin the house there, a logical person
thinks why was he able to getCynthia and Carson to send her out?

Maybe because the energy in the housewas that she didn't seem trustworthy, She
didn't seem like somebody that everybody couldrely on. And I actually didn't dislike
her. I was going into thegame of strategy. She wasn't my friend.
But I was like, Misha isgonna get kicked out and when she
leaves, I want to work withChina. The thing is, and you
know this because you played the show, you played the game. What you

experience in the house and what doyou see on TV is very different.
And I went into this, I'mlike, there's live feeds. I just
think it's so accurate. But whenyou go into the house and you see
it, you're like, they're justthere's only so much you can show in
a forty five minute episode. Theynever showed the fact that every week when
Misha wanted me to I'm not tryingto throw Misha under the bus, but
whatever, Misha was like, I'mkicking her out. I want her out.

I was the person that saved her. I liked her, yeah,
but that said, like you needshe was. She understood the game and
she was she was a player inthe game. Like she you know,
she was definitely better than Carson andCynthia. She knew what she was doing
and the whole point of this gameis to get the good players out.

Like I couldn't stand Misha, butlike in real life, I'm sure I
would love her, but like shewas, I felt like she put a
target on her back because she wasso mean, Like, I just feel
like, I don't think that shewas mean. I don't think she was
mean at all. And I watchedthe show back and I was like,
they make her look like a cardboardcutout. Misha and I had the most

important conversations in the world. Itwas a black gay man and a white
woman on television. We were talkingabout privilege. We were talking about politics,
we were talking about the divide,the word the word privilege, what
it means to white people, whyit is felt offensive to certain people.
And she was like, I've neverhad a relationship a friend with a with

a gay man before, and I'velearned so much from this. I thought
we were going to come out andpeople were going to see those conversations because
she was really vulnerable to have thosetype of conversations. She was sweet to
everybody. She was just standoffish andshe didn't have this big, bold personality.
So I don't think that the editdid her any favors. I think
she well, yeah, the edit, she just came off arrogant and like

I'm gonna win this and so.But I also understand about the edit because
they made me look like I wasdrinking every night they give her champagne.
One night, I was like WHOA, Like thank God, and then everyone
I'm like what the fuck? Iwas so annoyed because you know, they
don't give you alcohol. It's notlike that you might get it one night
out of the whole month that you'rethere. I'm still baffled by all of

the hate you got. I'm tryingto get it. I'm like, listen,
Ross and I were friends before werun in. He screwed me over
in the game. We're playing agame. We are still friends. I
voted for him to win because Ithought he played the best game, because
that's how I like. It's aI don't understand. When it becomes really
personal is when it gets real messy. I there's a lot of things that

I like to me. I'm tryingto move onward and upward. But I
think that there is a double standardin society. I think that when you
are black, when you are queer, people do, like subconsciously, it's
not something that they even realize thatthey do that they hold you to a
different standard. And if you comeinto a room and you're confident, I'm
also a person that was like,you know, somewhat relevant to the people

who are on Twitter, where mostof this hatred came from. Right,
Well, Twitter, Twitter is groundzero for hate. Let's be clear,
No one's nice on Twitter. It'sit's like it's really bad. Yeah,
you know, at the end ofthe day, you have to I have
to try to be a grounded,well like realistic person who self aware.
And I was in the house andI watched a grown man multiple time times,

like basically walk up to a womanas if he were going to attack
them, and I still love him. And they showed one of those on
TV. They didn't show the otherone, but that, to me,
there's nothing that I could have possiblydone that should be able to compare to
that. But for whatever reason,it did. And people, if they're
committed to not liking you, they'lljustify anything. I was like, people

that are fans of this show havewatched people do horrific things, right,
but it's not even that horrific.It's just like you have to stab people
in the back. That's the nameof the game, Like you have to
be friend them. And yeah,I didn't scream at anybody, I didn't
hit anybody, I didn't say anythinglike super slanderous about someone. People were

like, he was talking so horriblyabout people. I'm like everything I said
I said in broad daylight to people. If I had an issue, I
usually said it to their face.It is what it is. I think
if you put a magnifying glass onanyone's life and edit their life, that's
what society and what social media likesto do. They like to take a
highlight reel of your bad moments,as if they do. I say that
all the time. I say,these shows are highlights of our bad behavior.

They're not going to show us beingnice. It's the Housewives too,
like any show that it's highlights ofdrama and bad behavior. And then people
think that that's who you are allthe time. Yeah. And the thing
is, I've now realized that peopleare like, you live a privileged life,
so they don't feel sorry for me. They don't care, they don't
feel sorry for you. And thething is your own Real Housewives if people

watch Real Housewives, I'm sorry,but nothing that happened on our season was
is juicy. Is what happens andyou, guys, is just one episode.
When reunion, you put what Idid on Big Brother in comparison to
a highlight reel of what happens onyour show for a season, and it's
nothing. It's a mother no,seriously, like people hire private investigators to
dig up your past. It's reallyugly and like some of this shit,

I just it's bad. You're right, and it's personal. It's not a
game. We're coming after people inreal life, like we're coming after that
person. It's not just to wina game, because there's no winning,
so it no, it gets dark, it gets ugly, and it pits
people against each other and it's ugly. But we'll talk about something else now.
But I was just curious how youfound like because I was like,

yeah, he won. We stabbedsome people in the back, but that's
what you have to do, youknow, stabbed them in the back that
much because they weren't playing, soI wasn't. They didn't understand the game.
So people are like, he wasso manipulative. I was like,
I wasn't. Really I didn't haveto. I could have been manipulative,
but I didn't have to because peopleshowed up to me. It seems very

ignorant that you would show up toa show, give up a month of
your life, your freedom, yourpets, your loved ones and everything to
go play a game that you don'teven know what it is. We could
have all made the amount of moneythat you make by winning that show doing
ads all right, media. Iwent in because I love the game and
I'm I'm a person. If youput me in, I'm gonna fight.

buildings, like if I'm within therules, I'm gonna play, and I'm
gonna play to win. I've neverbeen in a position to be able to

to win. I don't have anyregrets. I think I played an incredible

was upset about some things. Again, he's not a fan of the show,

he was like this promise that hemade me and he doesn't know the show.
I promised him I would never puthim up. I never promised him
that I wouldn't vote him out ifhe got put up, And to him,
those were one and the same.So when he was upset with me,
I was like, I didn't putyou up. Somebody else put you
up. But I am voting youout because I'm saying this on the show.
And you gotta vote with the Yougotta vote with the house for the
most part. Like you know,I I love Carson, but he's the

most likable person in the world.He's impossible not to like him. He
went into the house knowing four peopleyou only have to have five votes to
win. You gotta go. Ilove you, but you gotta go.

When Chuck Ladall was on my season, he was the sweetest guy.

Loved him. He let us payinghis nails and like he was the best
and and it wasn't even like playing, like he was really good at chess.
And then everyone's like he's gonna winall the physical comps. We have
to get rid of him. Andbecause the house was voting that way,
I was My heart was broken.I told him ahead of time, I'm
like, you're out, like justsaying just to prepare him. I was

just like, it's happening. It'sjust a game. At the end of
the day. It's so wild howmuch, especially these celebrities that don't really
need this money. It's wild howsensitive they get about it. I don't
think that anybody voted for me notto win based on the way I played
the game. People were coming outsaying he played the best game. They
went online, they were influenced bysocial media and came back and didn't vote

for me to win, which Iwas okay with because I loved Misha.
I had a great time. Itwas a dream come true for me to
get to play the game. AndI wasn't gonna sit in there and be
nice to people and let someone win. I knew, right, And if
you were a bigger target than me, or if I thought you could win,
you're out. I'm competitive. Don'tinvite me to a game. That's
the whole point, Like I wouldn'tfully get it. I will give you

the clothes off my back. Iwould do anything for people that I like,
right, but if you put mein a competition like I'm here to
win, I'm here to play,and if we're friends, then we're going
to be friends after. I justwas curious about all the hate you got
it because I was like, Ididn't really understand it. But everyone's like,

oh, talks blah blah blah.But maybe do you think that maybe
it had to do with you havesuch a huge social media presence, like
you started on American Idol and thenYouTube and all of that. Do you
think it was those people that werelike because you have such a following,
like making the noise. I don'tthink it was the people that follow me.

I think it's people who just don'tlike me. And I think that
I think that I have been Icome from nothing, Brandy. I don't
have I had no dad growing up. I don't have parents who can help
me. I have been like Tasmaniandevil esque and my approach to my career.
I came here and it wasn't anoption for me not to make it

and fly back home because I don'thave anything to go home too. I
came to LA to make a namefor myself, and I think that I
have betten off more than I couldchoose several times, like I have made
seven hundred videos on the internet bymyself. I've written those songs and produced
those songs, and people who arein the industry are like, when you're
not in the industry, you're like, whatever, he did seven hundred videos.

But when you're in the industry andyou're like, that means you write
the song, you produce it,get locations, you pay for the insurance,
you hire the dancers, you getcostumes, you pay for post production,
you pay for color, you payfor an edit, you get first
aid, kits, security, allof those things. It's just so expensive.
You multiply that time seven hundred.I have had to work with like

fourteen thousand people in LA, youknow, and most of them have been
lovely. But sometimes I have madehuge mistakes. I've wronged people, I've
forgotten about people. I have beenirresponsible with money. I didn't come for
money. I don't know how toOkay, yeah, you can make this
work with five thousand dollars, andthen the bill comes back in it's fifteen
grand. I'm like, Okay,how are you gonna pay for this?

We'll pay for this with the nextgig. And I'm like rolling it over.
And but you're hustling. I meanyou're hustling because a lot of people
get out there and they give up. Like you have ambition and you have
hustle, and that's why you're good, that's why you made it. So
I have mad respect for that becausemy ambition level is zero. Oh yeah,

you know. But being on theshow, letting let me realize.
You know, at a certain point, these things do catch up to you
and some of the I think alot of the things that are said about
me online are exaggerated, but they'renot all lies. And you have to
be man enough to admit that youthat's part of being human. You're going
to make mistakes, and your pastdoesn't define you. It's what you do.

I fucked up a lot in mypast, but you know, I've
been in jail for a night,I've done some shitty things, but that's
not who I am today because I'velearned to control that, I've learned to
grow, I've involved, but Ihave to take accountability for it still,
even if it wasn't you today,even if you went to jail tonight.

Even if you did some shitty thingstoday, there's nobody out there who's not
doing shitty things. People know peoplewho're gonta jail. You haven't done anything
that most of these people who havecome moments about it haven't done. And
I think that that's what is sodifficult about being an influencer and a social
media presence, that there is nograce to fail, Like you have to
come here and spare your soul andyour spirit with these people and be so

vulnerable and people and have an opinionthat everyone is okay with. That's what
bothers me because I do not myopinion. Most people are like, what,
But I'm not here to play Kate. I'm not here to make everyone
happy. I'm here to tell mystory. And I think a lot of
these people get really vanilla and theywant to keep their you know, everyone

happy. And that's when I don'twant to watch anymore. I don't want
to follow you. If you're perfect. Yeah, people were so mad at
me about Big Brother. I'm like, honestly, if I wouldn't have been
the villain, whatever, I fuckwith villains. I love Scarla Mai.
I love Coruella to Ville, fine, paint me the villain. I don't
want to be on a boring TVshow. If I wasn't there, that
people would had what would the showthat would have been? Exactly? I

say that all the time. Yeah, Okay, if I wasn't, you
know, like if I didn't dothis or that, there would have been
no season. If you weren't thereand you weren't painted as the villain,
that would have been a very boringshow. Yeah, and I know to
watch that, I understand say theywant the villain to get kicked off.
I love RuPaul's drag Race. Andsometimes somebody will be on the show that
everybody's like, I want them tobe off. The moment they're gone the

show they missed them. That you'renot invested in the show you need then
there is no You can't watch amovie with no antagonists, no problem difficulties,
um and be engaged. It's like, who wants to watch that?
That's that's that's not good. SoI feel the same, and I feel
like these people when they don't likeyou on a show because maybe you are

considered the villain and they're going tofire her, fire her or fire him.
Fire him. Once you're fired,everyone's getting along. It's the worst
TV show ever because you know,then they call you back and be like,
hey, can you can you comein and fix our fucking season?
You know? And I'm like,maybe, y'all. It's I don't understand

why, like the people that producethese shows listen to these people on social
media. They should listen to thenumbers that the show's getting. We are
in a very very strange time rightnow, Brandy people. Whatever we are
saying right now will be cancelable inten years. That's why it's like,
I don't even want to go onpeople's podcasts. I get asked to do
podcasts every day. You don't knowthis, but I told Aubrey when she

told me that she was hanging outwith you, I was like, will
you please tell her I love her? And so she told me I thank
you. She was like, sweet, you are a real bitch. And
there's not and that is a rarebrief right now in this industry. And
so I wasn't scared to come onhere. There's nothing that someone can say
to me because at the end ofthe day, I love what I do.

I'm talented, I show up toyou work hard exactly, and I'm
never going to apologize or for knowingthe rules when you tell me the rules
the Big Brother, I'm like,Okay, great, did I break any
rules? Did I did? I? Did I say something that was despicable
to someone? You know? Um, I think that some of the things
that I said were taking out ofcontext, and there's things I could tell

you offline that would shed light andI think give some perspective to exonerate me
from some of the parts that aremost difficult. But I'm like, bitch,
I have moved on from this CBSTV show. It was a great
time. I love Big Brother.I still watch it to this day.
But of course I gotta have thigskin to live in this city and to
be able to step back and say, I know who I am. I
know who my mom raised me tobe, and i know I'm going to

keep making mistakes and I'm not goingto let somebody on Twitter who has a
squirrel as their profile picture made methat I'm you know that I'm a bad
person when they don't know me.You know, That's why. But also
like with like with you and myself, we have really strong opinions and personalities.

the shows, I was so scaredof myself because I don't trust myself because

it's such cancel culture right now,and I was like, now is not
the time to be on reality TV. It's like because you can't do anything
right. And that's how I feltlike kind of what happened to you?
And I was trying to remind peoplelike, are you guys, this is
a game, it's cut throat,you want to win. You're winning like

two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.Yeah, you're paid to be there,
but not a lot of money.But if you like, that's why you
have to do these things. Imean, listen, there were people I
liked that I voted off. Ihad to trace. It was just the
game and they were playing way betterthan me and they had to go.

down three shows this year, bigshows that I would have loved to have
done, because I just my heartand my spirit can't take the cancelation.
It just it makes the whole experienceof being a human like so it's scary,
like it scars for life and peopledon't get that. It's like you

have to wake up every day.My poor mom. It's just afraid for
me all the time. My brother, everybody is just like is he gonna
be okay? Your mental health isso at stake, And I'm a strong
personality I've had to be strong formy family, for my friends, for
my business, and so I don'tlike for people to see me crumble.
But this year I was like,when I get a job, it's now

immediately a bittersweet moment. I usedto be so excited, and now I'm
like, I'm excited to do this, but I know them, But yeah,
you get in your head. Ijust hate that because, like you
said, I've been doing since thissince I was eight years old, and
now I'm at a place where Ican travel the world and do everything that

I want to do. But sometimesI'm like, you can work your whole
life and you say one sentence onone show when you're tired, and it's
and and everything. It's almost likeall the things that you worked for,
all of the good that you did, all of the fourteen thousand people that
you did, all of the night, all the babies that you kiss their
hands that you should, they don'tmatter because all the people you have.

I'm in that moment now, likepeople are trying to cancel me, and
it's been really fucking hard, andlike you said, it's my mental health.
But I was doing the same shitI've been doing for thirteen years,
nothing different, and now all ofa sudden, there's these new rules and
like it's so fucked up. It'slike it's insane. It's like that's like

I'm afraid to work now, youknow what I mean. Like it's it's
scary, and I know I wasn'tdoing anything wrong. But the second somebody
else says, hey, now wehave HR on reality TV, so be

I want Brandy to go home.Then it's like automatically everything stops, all

of the offers and everything, andit's just like I'm going to fucking fight
through this. I'm going to getthrough it. But it is terrifying.
You will get you will get throughit, and you are a fighter.
Otherwise you wouldn't have gotten to thispoint. And that's something I have to
tell myself every single day. Weare cut from a different cloth. We
are warriors, came to this cityand we have made a name for ourselves

for a reason, and the universewouldn't have put us here if we couldn't
handle it. And these moments aremeant to kick us down so that we
don't realize the next big thing thatwe can do. Sometimes the universe is
trying to kick you out of thissituation to be like, don't do reality
TV anymore because there's something bigger andif you keep doing this then you're gonna
be here for forever. And somaybe it's like now we pivot and we

go somewhere else. I've always wantedto be back in Broadway, and now
I'm like, fuck reality TV.I'll go be on Broadway and you're everything.
I don't know what you're canceled for, whatever it's, but I do
know that you're a human being.And the whole idea of putting a camera
on someone and putting it out formillions of people to voice their opinion is

unnatural. It is like there's nothingnatural about it, and it is difficult.
And when I see these people,I'm like, I wish there was
a Black Mirror episode about somebody who'sa social justice warrior online being somewhere and

in awe that that you flipped it, and I was like, these people
are aren't game players, but yougot a lot of hate. I did,

first three seasons, and I justhad not seen somebody be that ostracized by
their castmates, even though they haddone I feel personally like there are things
that I can take accountability for it, but I feel like there was there's
a double standard here for sure,because there are people, if you've watched

the show, that have done ohthings. I mean Tiffany Pollard. Love
her one of my closest like aclose friend and a Hollywood friend, and
we just did a song together.But she has a line where she says,
pretty much, I would let jemand know she's a fat cunt like
and that's an iconic line that dragqueens say all the time and use.
They stopped their music and in themiddle of the music, they say these

iconic quotes from Tiffany Pollard what Iwhat drew me to the game is that
I thought that Big Brother is likealmost like you're supposed to screw everyone over
it, like that is the nameof the game television, and it's all
in good fun and whoever can bethe most ruthless but still be strategic to
get to the end, and whoplays from beginning to end should win.

I feel like I was at areally unfair, not unfair disadvantage. I
was grateful for it, but whenI went in the house, I was
asked to be in every single alliance. So some people are like, why
didn't you just lay low? Iwas like, I was the only person
in the house not able to laylow. Misha was on one side,
all of Cynthia and Carson, everybodyknew where they lied. But I was
the only person who got asked tobe on every team, so I didn't

have the luxury of sitting in thehouse babes and not doing anything. I
had to play and yeah, youplay your game the way you want to
play your game as well. Iwas like, I was kind of like,
wow, this backlash is crazy becausehe played the game better than anyone
else. I didn't understand, honestly, why you got it? And I
was reading all these things most hatedman in Hollywood, you know Hollywood,

like toxic Tadrick. I'm like,I'm trying to figure out and I love
Cynthia and Carson, but they shouldnot be playing Baby Brother. They did
not know what they were doing.And I was like, oh, you
guys, I really I was justlike, maybe watched the game before you
come in and try to play it. But why do you think you got

so much backlash? I don't know. I think that I mean, it's
a difficult subject to talk about,and I think that it is more complicated,
and I think that most people wouldwant me to just be like,
you were just an asshole. Idon't think that's the case. I think
if you watch the energy that wasin the house there, a logical person
thinks why was he able to getCynthia and Carson to send her out?

Maybe because the energy in the housewas that she didn't seem trustworthy, She
didn't seem like somebody that everybody couldrely on. And I actually didn't dislike
her. I was going into thegame of strategy. She wasn't my friend.
But I was like, Misha isgonna get kicked out and when she
leaves, I want to work withChina. The thing is, and you
know this because you played the show, you played the game. What you

experience in the house and what doyou see on TV is very different.
And I went into this, I'mlike, there's live feeds. I just
think it's so accurate. But whenyou go into the house and you see
it, you're like, they're justthere's only so much you can show in
a forty five minute episode. Theynever showed the fact that every week when
Misha wanted me to I'm not tryingto throw Misha under the bus, but
whatever, Misha was like, I'mkicking her out. I want her out.

I was the person that saved her. I liked her, yeah,
but that said, like you needshe was. She understood the game and
she was she was a player inthe game. Like she you know,
she was definitely better than Carson andCynthia. She knew what she was doing
and the whole point of this gameis to get the good players out.

Like I couldn't stand Misha, butlike in real life, I'm sure I
would love her, but like shewas, I felt like she put a
target on her back because she wasso mean, Like, I just feel
like, I don't think that shewas mean. I don't think she was
mean at all. And I watchedthe show back and I was like,
they make her look like a cardboardcutout. Misha and I had the most

important conversations in the world. Itwas a black gay man and a white
woman on television. We were talkingabout privilege. We were talking about politics,
we were talking about the divide,the word the word privilege, what
it means to white people, whyit is felt offensive to certain people.
And she was like, I've neverhad a relationship a friend with a with

a gay man before, and I'velearned so much from this. I thought
we were going to come out andpeople were going to see those conversations because
she was really vulnerable to have thosetype of conversations. She was sweet to
everybody. She was just standoffish andshe didn't have this big, bold personality.
So I don't think that the editdid her any favors. I think
she well, yeah, the edit, she just came off arrogant and like

I'm gonna win this and so.But I also understand about the edit because
they made me look like I wasdrinking every night they give her champagne.
One night, I was like WHOA, Like thank God, and then everyone
I'm like what the fuck? Iwas so annoyed because you know, they
don't give you alcohol. It's notlike that you might get it one night
out of the whole month that you'rethere. I'm still baffled by all of

the hate you got. I'm tryingto get it. I'm like, listen,
Ross and I were friends before werun in. He screwed me over
in the game. We're playing agame. We are still friends. I
voted for him to win because Ithought he played the best game, because
that's how I like. It's aI don't understand. When it becomes really
personal is when it gets real messy. I there's a lot of things that

I like to me. I'm tryingto move onward and upward. But I
think that there is a double standardin society. I think that when you
are black, when you are queer, people do, like subconsciously, it's
not something that they even realize thatthey do that they hold you to a
different standard. And if you comeinto a room and you're confident, I'm
also a person that was like,you know, somewhat relevant to the people

who are on Twitter, where mostof this hatred came from. Right,
Well, Twitter, Twitter is groundzero for hate. Let's be clear,
No one's nice on Twitter. It'sit's like it's really bad. Yeah,
you know, at the end ofthe day, you have to I have
to try to be a grounded,well like realistic person who self aware.
And I was in the house andI watched a grown man multiple time times,

like basically walk up to a womanas if he were going to attack
them, and I still love him. And they showed one of those on
TV. They didn't show the otherone, but that, to me,
there's nothing that I could have possiblydone that should be able to compare to
that. But for whatever reason,it did. And people, if they're
committed to not liking you, they'lljustify anything. I was like, people

that are fans of this show havewatched people do horrific things, right,
but it's not even that horrific.It's just like you have to stab people
in the back. That's the nameof the game, Like you have to
be friend them. And yeah,I didn't scream at anybody, I didn't
hit anybody, I didn't say anythinglike super slanderous about someone. People were

like, he was talking so horriblyabout people. I'm like everything I said
I said in broad daylight to people. If I had an issue, I
usually said it to their face.It is what it is. I think
if you put a magnifying glass onanyone's life and edit their life, that's
what society and what social media likesto do. They like to take a
highlight reel of your bad moments,as if they do. I say that
all the time. I say,these shows are highlights of our bad behavior.

They're not going to show us beingnice. It's the Housewives too,
like any show that it's highlights ofdrama and bad behavior. And then people
think that that's who you are allthe time. Yeah. And the thing
is, I've now realized that peopleare like, you live a privileged life,
so they don't feel sorry for me. They don't care, they don't
feel sorry for you. And thething is your own Real Housewives if people

watch Real Housewives, I'm sorry,but nothing that happened on our season was
is juicy. Is what happens andyou, guys, is just one episode.
When reunion, you put what Idid on Big Brother in comparison to
a highlight reel of what happens onyour show for a season, and it's
nothing. It's a mother no,seriously, like people hire private investigators to
dig up your past. It's reallyugly and like some of this shit,

I just it's bad. You're right, and it's personal. It's not a
game. We're coming after people inreal life, like we're coming after that
person. It's not just to wina game, because there's no winning,
so it no, it gets dark, it gets ugly, and it pits
people against each other and it's ugly. But we'll talk about something else now.
But I was just curious how youfound like because I was like,

yeah, he won. We stabbedsome people in the back, but that's
what you have to do, youknow, stabbed them in the back that
much because they weren't playing, soI wasn't. They didn't understand the game.
So people are like, he wasso manipulative. I was like,
I wasn't. Really I didn't haveto. I could have been manipulative,
but I didn't have to because peopleshowed up to me. It seems very

ignorant that you would show up toa show, give up a month of
your life, your freedom, yourpets, your loved ones and everything to
go play a game that you don'teven know what it is. We could
have all made the amount of moneythat you make by winning that show doing
ads all right, media. Iwent in because I love the game and
I'm I'm a person. If youput me in, I'm gonna fight.
Duth and Knell. I was onmask singer. I was jumping off of

buildings, like if I'm within therules, I'm gonna play, and I'm
gonna play to win. I've neverbeen in a position to be able to
chill and not care if I wasgonna win something. If you put me
in, you say dance, I'mgonna dance my ass off, I'm gonna

to win. I don't have anyregrets. I think I played an incredible

game, and as long as I'mcool with the people that I cared about.
I was really close with Carson beforeI went in. I think he
was upset about some things. Again, he's not a fan of the show,
but um well, obviously, Basillike you didn't keep your word.
I'm like, well, we don'tget that. But to be fair,
Glady. I just want to saythis because I watched a couple episodes and

he was like this promise that hemade me and he doesn't know the show.
I promised him I would never puthim up. I never promised him
that I wouldn't vote him out ifhe got put up, And to him,
those were one and the same.So when he was upset with me,
I was like, I didn't putyou up. Somebody else put you
up. But I am voting youout because I'm saying this on the show.
And you gotta vote with the Yougotta vote with the house for the
most part. Like you know,I I love Carson, but he's the

most likable person in the world.He's impossible not to like him. He
went into the house knowing four peopleyou only have to have five votes to
win. You gotta go. Ilove you, but you gotta go.
That's how it is, you know, Yeah, period, no. Yeah.
When Chuck Ladall was on my season, he was the sweetest guy.

Loved him. He let us payinghis nails and like he was the best
and and it wasn't even like playing, like he was really good at chess.
And then everyone's like he's gonna winall the physical comps. We have
to get rid of him. Andbecause the house was voting that way,
I was My heart was broken.I told him ahead of time, I'm
like, you're out, like justsaying just to prepare him. I was

just like, it's happening. It'sjust a game. At the end of
the day. It's so wild howmuch, especially these celebrities that don't really
need this money. It's wild howsensitive they get about it. I don't
think that anybody voted for me notto win based on the way I played
the game. People were coming outsaying he played the best game. They
went online, they were influenced bysocial media and came back and didn't vote

for me to win, which Iwas okay with because I loved Misha.
I had a great time. Itwas a dream come true for me to
get to play the game. AndI wasn't gonna sit in there and be
nice to people and let someone win. I knew, right, And if
you were a bigger target than me, or if I thought you could win,
you're out. I'm competitive. Don'tinvite me to a game. That's
the whole point, Like I wouldn'tfully get it. I will give you

the clothes off my back. Iwould do anything for people that I like,
right, but if you put mein a competition like I'm here to
win, I'm here to play,and if we're friends, then we're going
to be friends after. I justwas curious about all the hate you got
it because I was like, Ididn't really understand it. But everyone's like,

it had to do with you havesuch a huge social media presence, like
you started on American Idol and thenYouTube and all of that. Do you
think it was those people that werelike because you have such a following,

I think it's people who just don'tlike me. And I think that
I think that I have been Icome from nothing, Brandy. I don't
have I had no dad growing up. I don't have parents who can help
me. I have been like Tasmaniandevil esque and my approach to my career.
I came here and it wasn't anoption for me not to make it

and fly back home because I don'thave anything to go home too. I
came to LA to make a namefor myself, and I think that I
have betten off more than I couldchoose several times, like I have made
seven hundred videos on the internet bymyself. I've written those songs and produced
those songs, and people who arein the industry are like, when you're
not in the industry, you're like, whatever, he did seven hundred videos.

But when you're in the industry andyou're like, that means you write
the song, you produce it,get locations, you pay for the insurance,
you hire the dancers, you getcostumes, you pay for post production,
you pay for color, you payfor an edit, you get first
aid, kits, security, allof those things. It's just so expensive.
You multiply that time seven hundred.I have had to work with like

fourteen thousand people in LA, youknow, and most of them have been
lovely. But sometimes I have madehuge mistakes. I've wronged people, I've
forgotten about people. I have beenirresponsible with money. I didn't come for
money. I don't know how toOkay, yeah, you can make this
work with five thousand dollars, andthen the bill comes back in it's fifteen
grand. I'm like, Okay,how are you gonna pay for this?

We'll pay for this with the nextgig. And I'm like rolling it over.
And but you're hustling. I meanyou're hustling because a lot of people
get out there and they give up. Like you have ambition and you have
hustle, and that's why you're good, that's why you made it. So
I have mad respect for that becausemy ambition level is zero. Oh yeah,

you know. But being on theshow, letting let me realize.
You know, at a certain point, these things do catch up to you
and some of the I think alot of the things that are said about
me online are exaggerated, but they'renot all lies. And you have to
be man enough to admit that youthat's part of being human. You're going
to make mistakes, and your pastdoesn't define you. It's what you do.

I fucked up a lot in mypast, but you know, I've
been in jail for a night,I've done some shitty things, but that's
not who I am today because I'velearned to control that, I've learned to
grow, I've involved, but Ihave to take accountability for it still,
even if it wasn't you today,even if you went to jail tonight.

Even if you did some shitty thingstoday, there's nobody out there who's not
doing shitty things. People know peoplewho're gonta jail. You haven't done anything
that most of these people who havecome moments about it haven't done. And
I think that that's what is sodifficult about being an influencer and a social
media presence, that there is nograce to fail, Like you have to
come here and spare your soul andyour spirit with these people and be so
(23:14):
vulnerable and people and have an opinionthat everyone is okay with. That's what
bothers me because I do not myopinion. Most people are like, what,
But I'm not here to play Kate. I'm not here to make everyone
happy. I'm here to tell mystory. And I think a lot of
these people get really vanilla and theywant to keep their you know, everyone
(23:40):
happy. And that's when I don'twant to watch anymore. I don't want
to follow you. If you're perfect. Yeah, people were so mad at
me about Big Brother. I'm like, honestly, if I wouldn't have been
the villain, whatever, I fuckwith villains. I love Scarla Mai.
I love Coruella to Ville, fine, paint me the villain. I don't
want to be on a boring TVshow. If I wasn't there, that
people would had what would the showthat would have been? Exactly? I
(24:02):
say that all the time. Yeah, Okay, if I wasn't, you
know, like if I didn't dothis or that, there would have been
no season. If you weren't thereand you weren't painted as the villain,
that would have been a very boringshow. Yeah, and I know to
watch that, I understand say theywant the villain to get kicked off.
I love RuPaul's drag Race. Andsometimes somebody will be on the show that
everybody's like, I want them tobe off. The moment they're gone the

show they missed them. That you'renot invested in the show you need then
there is no You can't watch amovie with no antagonists, no problem difficulties,
um and be engaged. It's like, who wants to watch that?
That's that's that's not good. SoI feel the same, and I feel
like these people when they don't likeyou on a show because maybe you are
(24:45):
considered the villain and they're going tofire her, fire her or fire him.
Fire him. Once you're fired,everyone's getting along. It's the worst
TV show ever because you know,then they call you back and be like,
hey, can you can you comein and fix our fucking season?
You know? And I'm like,maybe, y'all. It's I don't understand
(25:07):
why, like the people that producethese shows listen to these people on social
media. They should listen to thenumbers that the show's getting. We are
in a very very strange time rightnow, Brandy people. Whatever we are
saying right now will be cancelable inten years. That's why it's like,
I don't even want to go onpeople's podcasts. I get asked to do
podcasts every day. You don't knowthis, but I told Aubrey when she
(25:30):
told me that she was hanging outwith you, I was like, will
you please tell her I love her? And so she told me I thank
you. She was like, sweet, you are a real bitch. And
there's not and that is a rarebrief right now in this industry. And
so I wasn't scared to come onhere. There's nothing that someone can say
to me because at the end ofthe day, I love what I do.

I'm talented, I show up toyou work hard exactly, and I'm
never going to apologize or for knowingthe rules when you tell me the rules
the Big Brother, I'm like,Okay, great, did I break any
rules? Did I did? I? Did I say something that was despicable
to someone? You know? Um, I think that some of the things
that I said were taking out ofcontext, and there's things I could tell
(26:14):
you offline that would shed light andI think give some perspective to exonerate me
from some of the parts that aremost difficult. But I'm like, bitch,
I have moved on from this CBSTV show. It was a great
time. I love Big Brother.I still watch it to this day.
But of course I gotta have thigskin to live in this city and to
be able to step back and say, I know who I am. I
know who my mom raised me tobe, and i know I'm going to

keep making mistakes and I'm not goingto let somebody on Twitter who has a
squirrel as their profile picture made methat I'm you know that I'm a bad
person when they don't know me.You know, That's why. But also
like with like with you and myself, we have really strong opinions and personalities.
Did you ever feel like like whenI got out to do some of
the shows, I was so scaredof myself because I don't trust myself because

it's such cancel culture right now,and I was like, now is not
the time to be on reality TV. It's like because you can't do anything
right. And that's how I feltlike kind of what happened to you?
And I was trying to remind peoplelike, are you guys, this is
a game, it's cut throat,you want to win. You're winning like

two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.Yeah, you're paid to be there,
but not a lot of money.But if you like, that's why you
have to do these things. Imean, listen, there were people I
liked that I voted off. Ihad to trace. It was just the
game and they were playing way betterthan me and they had to go.
And I love them, but sorry, Chuck, it is what it is.

No, you said, you hitthe nail on the head. It
is a very scary time to bean influencer and now, and I keep
saying the word influencer, I don'tfeel like that's what I am or that
what I am. I think you'veYou've now like you're kind of the male
j Lo. You do it all. You're seeing you downce you produced you
act. I was like when Iwas like looking all your stuff, I'm

like, this kid has worked fora long ass time and it liked it
didn't start American Idol. I wason Broadway a couple times before American Idol.
So I've been working my whole life. But when American Idol came,
that's when I was sort of likeput on television first. You might remember
being you know, faced with likecontroversy online and it was just really difficult.

But um, I just I'm inthis space right now. I turned
down three shows this year, bigshows that I would have loved to have
done, because I just my heartand my spirit can't take the cancelation.
It just it makes the whole experienceof being a human like so it's scary,
like it scars for life and peopledon't get that. It's like you
(28:53):
have to wake up every day.My poor mom. It's just afraid for
me all the time. My brother, everybody is just like is he gonna
be okay? Your mental health isso at stake, And I'm a strong
personality I've had to be strong formy family, for my friends, for
my business, and so I don'tlike for people to see me crumble.
But this year I was like,when I get a job, it's now
(29:15):
immediately a bittersweet moment. I usedto be so excited, and now I'm
like, I'm excited to do this, but I know them, But yeah,
you get in your head. Ijust hate that because, like you
said, I've been doing since thissince I was eight years old, and
now I'm at a place where Ican travel the world and do everything that
(29:36):
I want to do. But sometimesI'm like, you can work your whole
life and you say one sentence onone show when you're tired, and it's
and and everything. It's almost likeall the things that you worked for,
all of the good that you did, all of the fourteen thousand people that
you did, all of the night, all the babies that you kiss their
hands that you should, they don'tmatter because all the people you have.

I'm in that moment now, likepeople are trying to cancel me, and
it's been really fucking hard, andlike you said, it's my mental health.
But I was doing the same shitI've been doing for thirteen years,
nothing different, and now all ofa sudden, there's these new rules and
like it's so fucked up. It'slike it's insane. It's like that's like
(30:21):
I'm afraid to work now, youknow what I mean. Like it's it's
scary, and I know I wasn'tdoing anything wrong. But the second somebody
else says, hey, now wehave HR on reality TV, so be
careful. Hey, HR, Iwas uncomfortable. We want Brandy to go
I want Brandy to go home.Then it's like automatically everything stops, all
(30:45):
of the offers and everything, andit's just like I'm going to fucking fight
through this. I'm going to getthrough it. But it is terrifying.
You will get you will get throughit, and you are a fighter.
Otherwise you wouldn't have gotten to thispoint. And that's something I have to
tell myself every single day. Weare cut from a different cloth. We
are warriors, came to this cityand we have made a name for ourselves
(31:08):
for a reason, and the universewouldn't have put us here if we couldn't
handle it. And these moments aremeant to kick us down so that we
don't realize the next big thing thatwe can do. Sometimes the universe is
trying to kick you out of thissituation to be like, don't do reality
TV anymore because there's something bigger andif you keep doing this then you're gonna
be here for forever. And somaybe it's like now we pivot and we
(31:30):
go somewhere else. I've always wantedto be back in Broadway, and now
I'm like, fuck reality TV.I'll go be on Broadway and you're everything.
I don't know what you're canceled for, whatever it's, but I do
know that you're a human being.And the whole idea of putting a camera
on someone and putting it out formillions of people to voice their opinion is
(31:52):
unnatural. It is like there's nothingnatural about it, and it is difficult.
And when I see these people,I'm like, I wish there was
a Black Mirror episode about somebody who'sa social justice warrior online being somewhere and
then their life gets flipped around andeverybody online gets to see what they're fucking
doing. Where the buried, wherethe skeletons in their closet, our Brandy,

This is a great idea. Ican't believe I was gonna say,

So what I love to do isI write pictures for things. I
have great ideas, and I wouldlike to be on the other side of

supposed to have your final two,but a lot of people it is manipulation
and strategy, yeah, and lying, and that's right. So but sounds
like, well, you have ahard time with traders and all that fun
