When you can't see or feel Jesus with your physical senses, step out in courage to KNOW He is still there. Have faith that God knows your needs, and will provide them. Try just one more time - pray, choose to love and trust God even when your spirit doesn't want to. Continue to seek Gods kingdom, continue to step in faith and follow Gods blueprint for life; He promises He will reveal himself to you if you seek Him with your entire heart. If we fix our eyes on what is unseen, instead of what is seen, this helps us align our hearts with Gods will, and opens us up to being filled with the Holy Spirit more deeply. Instead of identifying in your earthly roles, identify in Jesus and preform your roles (mom, daughter, wife, your hobby, your job, etc) from a place of core self- where endless love from Jesus can fill you up. This will allow you to extend grace, humility, and love, out into the world with no expectation of anything in return. Remember: you are not defined by your outward earth "stuff"- whether you have a car thats running on fumes and the door is falling off versus a luxury car, if you live in a tent behind McDonals versus your "dream home", having perfect hair, makeup or clothes, looking "put together" or like you just rolled out of bed.....God wants you JUST AS YOU ARE - no mask, no stuff, just raw authentic YOU. Open your bible and read - profound things will happen: Jesus says in Matthew 6 - Do Not Worry.....powerful stuff.
Scriptures from Episode 1:
1. Amanda's favorite verse: 2 Corinthians 2:14-18. You are an eternal being. Try to see the unseen eternal world, instead of all the earth things you can see with your eyeballs. :)
2. The book of Job - seeing God with NEW eyes; God is so much bigger than we can ever imagine. Trust that He is in control of everything, including your life.
3. Psalm 84 – our flesh aches for Jesus and Gods Kingdom.
4. Psalm 86 – David prays: a prayer of pain and crying out to God our creator.
5. Psalm 69- David suffers for being righteous
6. Matthew 6 – Jesus says “don’t worry”
- Tony Evans "Hope Words":
1. " When its not fair, it doesn't mean Gods not there. Trust him, He has a purpose in the pain."
2. "Sometimes God allows something in your life that only He can fix so that you will get to see that He is the One who can fix it."
Stay BRAVE, stay BEAUTIFUL, and stay BLESSED. :)
