Speaker 1 (00:21):
What's going on, y'all. It's Aaron, this is Brabo. We're black.
You already know what the show is. You already know
what time it is. You already know what we're getting into.
I planned on making this a pop culture episode, and
we were going to talk about some other things, which
we are later on in the episode. But right now,
I just want to get straight down the business. I

(00:43):
gotta let me get let me sit all the way.
I gotta have good posture for this one, because a
lot is going on. A lot is going on, A
lot is going on, specifically at Bravo Con. Child, do
you see all this shit? None? No, no, no, no
at the thing with the people. Let's get into it,

(01:05):
because they announced a lot of this stuff, some of
the stuff we talked about with Stephanie from Moocha Minez
and that was on the last episode. If you guys
haven't heard that, definitely check it out because we recapped
the newest episodes of Housewives of Atomach and Housewives of
Salt Lake City, maybe not in that order. Go listen
to that if you want to hear a recap of

(01:26):
the most recent episodes, and then you can get ready
for it. Tonight's episode of Housewives of Potomac. But y'all,
it's been so much shit going on at this Bravo
kan and K is going to tell you in more detail,
but I'm just going to tell you based off the
shit that I've seen because I'm not there. Listen, guys.
So number one, where do we even begin? The Love

(01:46):
Hotel season two cast was announced, and let me tell
y'all who's going to be on it? So Sonya Morgan
is going to be on it, Heather Gate is going
to be on it, Portia Williams is going to be
on it. Does that sound like a good cast to y'all? Honestly,
I kind of seen it coming for Porsche. I was like,
you know what, But I didn't think she would come

(02:07):
this soon, just because I know last season of Housewizbelian
it was about her like really separating from Simon and
you know, getting back into her own identity after all
of that stuff happened, which Porsche has always been Porsche,
Porsche always has jobs. But I just kind of figured
that she would come in maybe season three. I didn't

(02:28):
expect it to be so early. I thought, if anything,
they would do like Robin Didson and oh wait, Robin,
I just thought about it. Robin's would want so now
they wanted it Robin, But maybe a few other people
I definitely seen, like Sonya Morgan coming, Heather gave for sure,

(02:52):
for sure, for sure, for sure, and then let's just
be fun right now. Who do you imagine from season three?
Who are you guys thinking? Because me personally, I think
it would be nice if they if they maybe do
by then Brownwin should be separated from that man. Maybe
not because of the money, you know, I don't know.

(03:13):
I'm being Bessie as hell today. I really don't know, guys,
because I'm like, it's not too many single people on Bravo.
Maybe like some of the Family Comrace casts. Maybe we
could have somebody from like Summer House, Martha's Vineyard, because
it doesn't necessarily have to be housewives, like I know
last season it was housewives, but it doesn't have to

(03:35):
be housewives all the time. We can actually get some
faces from some of the shows that we've been watching, Like,
like I said, Shaw's is literally coming back. I know
it's going to be some single people on there on
the Valley. I would love to see Brittany from Housewives
of Salt Lake City on there. I think she would
be really fine, maybe even Monique Samuels. If Monique Samuels isn't,

(03:59):
you know, with someone, I would like to see that.
If that shit doesn't work out with Stacy, Hey put
her ass on there too, Like let's just have Britney,
Let's have Monique Samuels, Let's have like, you know, a
few of the people that are really going to get
the ratings going, because you know, last season I really

(04:19):
didn't watch. They had Ashley Zelle, they had who the else?
It wasn't Counti Saloyanne Shenon. But yeah, but yeah. So
they announced the season two of Love Hotel. If you
guys enjoyed the first season of it, I really feel

(04:39):
like you guys are going to enjoy the second because
this cast seems really good. Like I would love to
see Heather Gay on her dating journey, especially knowing how
quirky she is. I feel like she's really into the Mormonism.
So it's just like, let's see what's going on with
Heather Gay. Let's also see what's going on with Portia,
because that I would like to see. Where's is Faedri

(05:02):
still with that man and speaking of Phedro, speaking of Phaedra,
I just seen this shit. I woke up before I
could even wipe the crust out of my eyes. I
don't know if that was too much information. I'm sorry,
y'all know I've seen the headlines pop up in my
notification and I just click on it. Twitter takes you
to a place like every time, And never in a

(05:23):
million years did I think I would see Phaedra speaking
on Candy's Housewives Achievement Award. Never in a million years.
But apparently they got some messy ass interviewers up in
Bravo Khan this year because for her to ask Phaedra
about that damn award. And also when Candy was getting

(05:46):
that house Time achieve Housewives Achievement Award, they literally kept
panning the camera from Candy to Fader and Porsche, back
to Candy, back to Fajri and Porsche. How messy is this?
Do y'all feel like Candy deserved that award? That's another
question that I have for y'all. Get a notebook, because

(06:09):
I have a few questions and I need some answers. Honestly,
do you feel like she deserved that award? I'm not
gonna say I don't think she deserved it. I just
feel like there were people that should have been prioritized
over candy that have started off because I'm like, where's SHARII,
you know, where's Nini? You know what about the people?

(06:34):
I think people want to say Niani so bad. I
know Nini is on the outswoard Bravo right now, and
it just doesn't seem like I hope they're preparing to
get her back, but it's just I definitely think it
should have been other people, shit, even Toshawn, because it's
like they were on the first season. Now, maybe not

(06:54):
Deshan because she only was on one season, but Sharie
held it. Now regards to what you got say about Charay,
Charay may not have anything to offer Housewives of Atliana
right now because you know, she's older, her kids are
out of the nest, she doesn't have kids anymore. They're
grown ass men, they're grown ass women. Her dating life,

(07:19):
I don't know what's going on with that, but it's like,
you know, maybe she doesn't have anything that's like that
we're looking for right now. But keep in mind Charay Hill,
Housewives of Alianta down for seasons, seasons, especially that first season,
that magic between Niini Charay and Kim Zosiak, just like

(07:40):
the back and forth. Those were the girls. I'm not
even gonna lie. Those were the girls. And then they
brought in you know, Candy, and then they brought in Cynthia,
and then they brought in Phedra and all that good stuff.
So it's like I could see her at some point
getting it because the longevity Candy d on Housewives of

(08:01):
Veli in the for a very long time. She wasn't
those people. She wasn't one of the people who like
came on and then they took a break and then
they like came back. She left after a long amount
of seasons, a long amount of giving storylines. Now, some
might say what story because I seen that in the comment.

(08:21):
It's not me, y'all. I didn't say that. Some might
say what storylines did Candy brain? I honestly think that
when Kenny first started out, I was very interested in
her whole story with her mom and how she was
getting back into dating. And then when she met that guy,
the first guy that she brought on House Fwives of
Elia and a Rest in Peace, you know, I thought

(08:43):
That was very interesting because we kind of seen it
was like a mama daughter type of situation. And then
she had Riley and then she was just like navigating
me in a single mom especially after that, and then
she met Todd, so it's like, yeah, you know, she
had some pretty interesting things. And then the music thing,
this was our first time actually seeing i'd say, a

(09:06):
housewife with an actual successful music career. Some might, you know,
maybe call out some people from Housewives in New York
or whatever, but I'm talking about like real deal, Like
Candy made records for TLC. Y'all already know. She's definitely
gonna remind you of that, but those are accolades that

(09:26):
you can't take away, you know. So it was our
first time actually seeing a successful housewife in the music industry.
That was her thing before the show, that was her
thing on the show, and then it's still her thing
after the show because she's still doing tours with Escape
and all that good stuff. And then she came from
a girl group as well. There were so many interesting
things about Candy, So I definitely I don't feel like

(09:49):
she didn't deserve the award, But are y'all giving that
that award? In order. That's what I'm trying to figure out.
Is it just like a random thing, like any housewive
gets it? Because I feel like there's should be a
priority list when it comes to that award. I feel
like we can't give it to somebody who's who was
not on the first season like that a ward. Definitely,

(10:12):
in my opinion, it should have been between knee Leaks
in Charay and then the following year, we could have
gave that to Candy because again, especially with the Candy sayings,
I don't want y'all to think that I said she
doesn't deserve the award. I just feel like there should
be a priority list because when you think of that award,
especially when it comes to Housewives of Atlanta, I don't

(10:35):
know about you, but I think about Niani Leaks. Even
if they didn't bring her ass back on the show,
whatever the case was, she deserved that award. Hence down
that's just my personal opinion about it. But y'all know,
y'all got me riled up. I've gone onder something else.
So they asked Phaedra about the award, and you know,
surprisingly her answer, I thought she was just kind of

(10:58):
like dodged the question and be like, yeah, you know,
she's deserving it, and just kind of leave it at that.
But you know, she added her two cents in. She
said that she's the one that recommended that Candy actually
come on Housewives of Atlanta. She said she's the one
that told Candy there was a spot open, and then
so on and so on, so you know, and then

(11:20):
she also congratulated her. Some people in the comments are
saying that she made it all about herself, which I
can kind of see what you guys mean. I think
it's just the way she worded it. And to be fair,
she was put on the spot, like, this's not like
if somebody asked you a question about somebody that you
are not on the best terms with, you know, the

(11:40):
type of issues that they have, it's kind of hard
to give a genuine answer. So like, kudos to her
to even for her to even try to give a
genuine answer, because I would have walked away to be told,
I just do not want to be in that mess anymore.
If I was her, I just would not want to
be in the same room, just because, especially with somebody

(12:05):
that has made it clear she will never fuck with you,
and rightfully so like, you know, those are pretty serious allegations.
I'll always say that, you know what, I like to
sit down between Kenny and Phaedra. Absolutely does Candy have
the right to deny that and say fuck no. Absolutely,
So it's always going to be two sides to that.

(12:27):
And I can also still enjoy Phedra about while acknowledging
that that whole situation was a fucking mess. She was
dadass wrong. And you know, that's just the consequences like
in life, when you make decisions like that, when you
say things like that, there are consequences behind them, regardless
of who told you, regardless of somebody put you up

(12:48):
to it, there are consequences. Who are you know saying
which is it? And then so they also stop Charaine
and Charae confessed that she was asked to come back.
I guess the last season of Housewives of Atlanta or
maybe this season the Housewives of Atlanta. But I guess

(13:11):
the numbers that they were talking about weren't talking. She said,
the numbers weren't talking, So I don't know. I definitely
feel like Bravo needs to pay their talent like the
big bucks, because it's like, these aren't just people coming
out Housewives of Atlanta, Like these are oh G's. These
are people who really set up the blueprint for people

(13:32):
to even watch housewives. So it's like you will always
have to put respect on their name. And I guess
because they're like, oh, well, you're not really giving shit,
you don't really have anything to offer, That's how they're
looking at it. But in the long run, these are
people who helped build your numbers up to where they
are because, truth be told, if it wasn't for the Kniinnies,

(13:55):
if it wasn't for the Charats, if it wasn't for like,
you know, someone will say, like the Bickie Gombel sends,
like who else would they maybe throw in that loop?
Maybe the head of Dubros, maybe the Karen Hugers. You know,
I feel like the numbers would not be where they are.

(14:17):
That's just my honest opinion about it. And then you
can add some other names, because I know a lot
of you are probably thinking of some other names that
could have been added to that list. But yeah, like
when you have a housewive that's brought so much and
has like huge, a huge fan base, huge social media following,
everybody loves Charay. Everybody respect Charay, Like even if you

(14:43):
might not feel like she has anything to offer. Now,
what about the gears that you did? What about the
gears that she was doing, the fashion show, the Dancing
with the Stars, that little episode that she had, Like
the times that she was going back and forth with Marlow,
the times that she was going I'm back and forth
with Ainie, the time that she shifted Kim Zosiak's wig.

(15:06):
What about all of that good stuff? You know, you
guys are so easy to turn yet sometimes that's just
how I feel. Now getting into Housewives of Potomac, Karen
Huger made her graand return to Bravo at the Bravos Awards,
and you know, they gave her a standing ovation for

(15:27):
that and it was really good to see her. They
also released that mid season trailer and they showed Andy
having to sit down with Karen, so we will be
getting Karen in some capacity, you know. They also showed
more Monique, which I'm excited to see. I'm definitely excited
to see the relationship that Monique and Stacey will have

(15:51):
in the show. Like there are two people that they
an't know each other and the only thing they're kind
of like connecting them with is the whole Christi Samuel's thing.
So I'm like, well, more information come out about that
Chris Samuels situation or was that it? Because if that's it,
they don't even have to bring up Chris because these
are two beautiful black women who already have a rapport

(16:13):
on House Slides of Potomac. We've already seen them, we
already know what they're about. Well, Stacy, this is like
her second season coming in. But Stacey, her presence is strong,
Like even with the QVC thing, It's like, we know
who she is and we don't have to question it,
and we don't have to bring up Chris Samuels every

(16:34):
five minutes to make them relevant. It's like, Okay, we
get it. She went out of date, she knows Chris Samuels,
we get it. Monique married Chris Samuels, their relationship in it,
we get it. Let's move on. Let's move on to
something bigger and better. So I just hope that they
don't stay stuck on that shit. But how are you
are you guys excited for the return of the Grand Dong?

(16:57):
I hear a nepause, I hear in applause. I know
you guys are I am too. I'm excited to see
what that sit down that is gonna look like. Because
y'all know, Indy cohech Is don't be coming on shows
to talk to anybody. He doesn't do that. But this was,
I guess, a very special occasion. So he came on.

(17:17):
He has this, he has a chair, you know, he
has his cars. He's ready to talk to her and
get to the bottom of what the fuck happened? How
what place she's in now. We also see a scene
of her in Ray embracing and Raven embracing, like and
that's so sweet. I know they were happy as hell
to have you know, Ray was happy as hell to

(17:39):
have his wife home. Raven was happy it's hell to
have her mother home. So it's like it's very refreshing
and nice to see. There are also gonna be some fights.
Something's happening, something between Wendy and Eddie too, because they're like, well,
how does this, how is this gonna affect our marriage?

(17:59):
And I'm just it's like, y'all know, I love that.
That's a million dollar question for me. I'm like, their marriage,
what is happening? I'm trying to see is it is
it going to kind of center around this courtship or
that like arrest. Are they referring to that or is
this gonna be something else? Because I can't imagine that

(18:20):
they pick cameras back up for that and then they're
gonna try to like throw that in the show because
they already have several stuff going on with Karen. So
it's like, I can't imagine that they would have time,
but maybe they made time for a child. We'll see,
we will see what they're talking about. One thing that
I really want to get into though, is that how

(18:40):
look at me about to say housewives again, married to
medicine panel, married to medicine ladies. They show up, they
show out, They never disappoint. I just want to say too.
On top of that, these women come into Bravo khon
you know our house phase, I were married to medicine phase.

(19:03):
They look incredible, Like the style team, y'all gonna say
what y'all want. Y'all remember someone used to show up
sometimes and it's like her outfits weren't necessarily on point.
Now she has a stylist, They have a stylist. Everybody
looks good like Heavenly looks so good, Toya looks so good,

(19:24):
Quid looks so good, Contesta, doctor Jackie, like everybody looked incredible,
and I'm just so excited to see you know what's
gonna happen on this season and Married to Medicine. Heavenly
and Toya got into it, of course, because you know,

(19:45):
Heavenly is running for Congress, and Toya doesn't understand that
she has to be in the same district in order
to vote for Heavenly, because she keeps screaming out, well,
I'm not voting for Heavenly, and I wish that she
understood that that wasn't even an option. I do what
she understood that, But I guess she understands now because

(20:07):
Heavenly told the told her and broke it down to
her on the panel outside of the panel too, But
I guess it just wasn't clicking for Toya. What I understand, Listen,
Toya is she's a mom first before all that other shit.

(20:30):
Toya is a mom and a wife, and then you
know she has her other business ventures. But that's really
how I know Toya. And I grew to have respect
for Toya, especially seeing how her boys turned out to
be like these educated young men. She's and she's a
you know, she's great at what she does. She's great
at keeping the house up. I don't know, do you

(20:51):
have a maid, because at one point I thought maybe
they had a maid. But regardless of whatever, I definitely
grew to have respect for Toya. So it's certain things,
especially when it comes to these politics, that Toya is
probably not informed on. You know, that's fine, It's fine
to not know everything. I'm definitely not shaming her for that,

(21:13):
So I'm glad she was informed on that. And how
do y'all feel about Heavily running for Congress? Do y'all?
And I'm talking about it's a general question for everybody,
but I really want to know the answers from, like
people who actually live in Heavenly's district. Are y'all going
to vote for Heavenly? I really want to know, do

(21:37):
you take her run seriously? Because honestly, after what I've
been seeing, and I'm speaking as somebody who lives in
South Florida who doctor Heavenly would not, you know, sadly
not show up on my ballot because I would definitely
prefer That's a whole another story, but me speaking on it,

(21:58):
I can see her taking this seriously. I can see
her actually looking out for the black community. And there
was someone I can't think of her name. If y'all
know her name, let me know. But she spoke on
it at the panel, and you know, she came out,
you just said it straight up. She was like, Heavenly,
you're messy as hell, But you know what, I genuinely

(22:19):
feel that you're going to have the best interests of
you know, your community. I genuinely feel like you're going
to look out and do what's right and advocate for us.
And I feel the same way. I do feel like
she is taking this very seriously. And to also see

(22:40):
that she stepped down in a friend of role, I'm like,
oh yeah, she's definitely taking this shit seriously. So it's like,
there's no doubt in my mind. I do feel like
she would be a good candidate heavenly mouthed as loud
as hell, especially in that courthouse. She is going to listen,

(23:00):
she's gonna have a time, and she's gonna do what
she needs to do. Especially with Quad being there as
her like right hand person, I definitely feel like they're
gonna get they're gonna get the job done. Like y'all
might talk about, you know, the stuff that's been married
to medicine and you know, some of the drama that
has happened like in the previous years, maybe Heavenly saying

(23:23):
your mama. That's stuff that you think about when you
think of doctor Heavenly. But also there's another side to her,
you know, and just seeing her. What really made me
think about it was honestly, seeing how she gets on
YouTube and she has her you know, her show, and
when she's talking to like Carlos King or whoever she's

(23:45):
talking to you like on YouTube, just seeing how she
can bounce back from that and then talk about something
serious and then talk about her dental practice and then
talk about all this other stuff. So it's like she
does have the range and the capacity to do that,
you know, the show. She's on the show, but in
the office, she's in the office, and I can definitely
respect that Doctor Heavenly is a business woman. First, Like,

(24:08):
let's let's really look at the you know, let's look
at the full chart here, let's look at the full
resume here, successful dental practice, successful business woman has her
own Like what do you call that training seminar on

(24:29):
how to make money. You know, I never did it.
I know a few people signed up for that, but yeah,
doctor Heavenly is very successful. So it's like I could
believe that. And then we are going to see Quad
on her journey to motherhood. I'm really excited to see
that because I do I want I want to see

(24:52):
Quad as a mother so bad. I feel like she's
really going to bring it. Once she becomes a mother.
I can see already, like the maternity shoot, the baby clothes,
the stroller, the dramatics, the presence. I need to see
it all. I need to see it all. And it

(25:13):
was such a sweet moment on stage between Doctor Jackie
and Quad when you know they were going into detail
and Doctor Jackie was saying that, you know, dealing with
Quad and kind of just being there for her, it
makes her reflect on her not being a mother, and
it makes her think about her and some of the

(25:35):
issues that she faced when she was trying to, you know,
during her journey of trying to be a mother. And
it's like that was so sweet to me. It definitely
means a lot to me, and I would imagine it
means a lot to you know, women who are also
going through this journey because they're actually in the field
going through it. So I thought that was so beautiful

(25:56):
to see. And I do think it's very brave and
courageous for Quai to even be taking us on her
journey like filming that and showing those vulnerable moments on screen.
That's a huge deal. That's not easy because you're gonna
have days where you're probably not in the mood. You
probably maybe received some news that wasn't the greatest, you know,

(26:20):
and you're stressed the hell out, and then you have
this camera in your face, like it's the way I
would knock that shit against the wall. You probably get
tired of that, I can imagine. So when whenever a
house life is vulnerable about, you know, stuff like when
it comes to stuff like this, that's a huge deal
for me. So kudos to Quad. I'm wishing her nothing

(26:43):
but the best, you know. I love me some Squad.
They also asked about who's they okay, y'all? So they
also asked the ladies of Marriat To Medicine how they
would feel about Mariah Huk's return. Everybody kind of looked left.
Everybody kind of looked right. Contessa was the only one

(27:04):
who spoke up and was like, you know what, and
she gave a very political answer, I will say very political.
She was like, I see that Mariah is so successful.
I see that she's thriving, and you know, honestly, we
really appreciate her for what she's done to the show,
because there will be no show without her. And I thought, yeah,

(27:27):
that was a very political answer. But you know, hey,
I guess they're still not seeing it for Mariah Huck
They're really standing on that shit. Like you know, they
flipped out on Quad before, but like this is the
longest I've seen I've never really seen them have beef
with somebody before, and I feel like this is like

(27:49):
they are very adamant on not having Mariah Huck back.
Like there's just no discussion, there's no speculation, there's no
anything like no, she won't be back. Every time they
ask no she wants no, No, she okay, she was
her kids, she okay. They just don't care. They don't
give a damn. And I'm like, oh my goodness, I

(28:12):
want Mariah. I want Mariah hug backs up at I
feel like, hell, I didn't even want Sweet Tea to leave.
I know a lot of you guys you wanted to
push Sweet Tea out. I thought Sweet Tea was great.
I was like, just give us Sweet Tea without Greg.
That's really what I wanted. I'm like, damn, Sweet Tea,
you can leave Greg and live in the one bedroom,

(28:32):
you know, and get the coins up and like, really,
you know, add something to the show. That's what I
wanted to see, because I think, aside from Greg, and
aside from that whole situation, I thought Sweet Team would
have been great for the show. But I feel like
she just prioritized her marriage, which is rightfully so I

(28:55):
can't even argue against that because like, as a wife,
that is one of the most important things. So I
can't even get mad at her for doing that. But yeah,
I really don't want to see her go. But she's gone. Now.
They got Angel from She's from basketball. She's from basketball wives,

(29:17):
So do what you will with that. They have a
few other people that seem interesting too. I think two
other ladies, maybe one other lady. I don't know. I'm
just when it comes to Mariao Medicine, I'm like, we
can kind of skip out all this other shit because
they had Doctor Alicia, and now I really wanted to
get to know doctor Alsha. I would have been happy

(29:38):
if they brought her back because I do feel like
she had a lot to offer, and come to find out,
there were a lot of scenes from Doctor Relicia that
were actually cut the season that she was on, so
we can really get a chance to get to know
her and see what she could potentially bring two future seasons.
So I'm kind of like, damn, what about that? What

(29:58):
about Audra? I really wanted to see Audrea bag because
I say casting from Mary to Medicine has been pretty
good aside besides Anila, although I like, I'm not well,
I'm not gonna say Aniela didn't bring anything to the show,
but they could have did better. They could have did better,
but I think they were honestly just so focused on

(30:20):
trying to replace Mariah and that Indian culture. Maybe I
don't know, that's just the vibes that I got, that's
just the vibes that I got when they brought Anila on.
I definitely thought like, oh, they're trying That's the first
thing that came to mind. Oh, they're trying to replace Mariah.

(30:41):
Hook like she's coming on here to take over and
replace Mariah Hook. You know, I'm like, where the hell
is Lisa the call and Darren Noggles. That's what I
wanted to see all this other shit. Angel I'm pretty
sure she's a great girl, and I'm very I'm gonna
be very open minded when it came to this new

(31:02):
season and you know, some of the new cast members,
because they might give us a good show. So I
will be up and minded to it, you know, and
we'll see what happens. And that's all I gotta say
for Bravo COHNT. I tell y'all, Teresa and Melissa and
Joe they they they're working things out. I tell y'all,

(31:23):
y'all seen at the Bravo Cohn Teresa and Joe gave
each other hug. I'm just like, by the time, because
that shit was tired. I got tired of talking about
this ship. I got tired of hearing about it. So
I'm happy that they resolved their issues, because how long
can you be for somebody? I guess forever. Try to

(31:44):
leave it to her, but I'm like, the beef wasn't
really that serious, just kissing makeup. You kissed the make up,
you kissed it, make up another thing, y'all. I forgot
to tell y'all, Vicki from Househuds, Orange County. I don't
know why I'm speaking on her like that, as if
I don't love VICKI down absolutely do love Vicky. She
got her Orange for season twenty, so she will be

(32:05):
back in a full time capacity and that is a
huge deal for Vicky Gumbleson fans, for Orange County fans,
if you do enjoy Vicky Gumbleson like I do. Honestly,
they needed that shake up because I'm just like, they
needed that shake up real bad. They needed some some

(32:26):
shit needs to change, something needed to change, and hopefully
this changes it in a good way. I don't know,
we'll see, but y'all, that's enough Bravo stuff. You know,
head over to Brabo Wild Black on Instagram because Kaya
is showing up. That's how I know all this shit
because Keaya has been literally going live over there. And

(32:48):
when she comes back, I mean, she might be pissed
off at me because she's like, I don't have a
motherfucking thing to talk about, but I'm pretty sure she
will find something like it's other stuff happening definitely a
lot of stuff that I I probably miss so let's
see how all of that goes. So that was the
Brabo coun stuff. The second thing that I have on
the docket the season finale of Reasonable Doubt. If you

(33:11):
don't know now, you know you have to go watch.
I told you guys on the last Pop Culture episode. Listen,
this is a great show. They just gave us the
season finale and I'm gonna give y'all all the details
and recap the whole episode from start to finish. So
going back to the Ozzie Trials, because I told you guys,

(33:33):
that is the main idea. That's what's going on. This
is the case that we're looking at and going through
on this season of Reasonable Doubt. So the previous episode
kind of left us on a cliffhanger with Ozzie's sister
because she was really explaining her perspective of things. And

(33:54):
they do this every season, like every person that's involved
in the case or who is present in the moment
of the murder, they have their own perspectives and it's
just figuring out which perspective is the right perspective. So
with her turns out she actually kidnapped the girl. She

(34:15):
invited the girl over to the cabin. She then changed
her ass up to a chair. She knocked her ass
upside her head apparently, and then the girl tried to
escape and then she shot her. So that they just
apparently that's the sister's perspective, so we think, and that's
the only perspective that we've seen aside from Ozzie. So

(34:36):
we're like, okay, well maybe that's what happened. Well with
Ozzi's perspective, he doesn't really remember shit, so there's not
much of a perspective. So this is the only thing
that we really have. So I'm like, oh, that must
have happened, Like, okay, so she killed the girlfriend. So
then they go to trial, because we're going in order
this time around. So then we go to Ozzie's trial.

(34:57):
They reached the final verdict and they decide that Ozzie
is not guilty. Everybody's jumping up, everybody's clapping their hands,
everybody's stumping their feet, they're praise dancing. Maybe I'm adding
on to it a little bit, but they were doing
all the things. They were really excited about it, especially Jack's, Like,

(35:17):
aside from Jackson, being his lawyer, they bonded over a
lot of the trauma that they experienced in their personal life,
so she was really happy to see that Ozzie was free.
She also invited Azsie over for dinner, so that was
like a huge thing after the trial. And then she's like, Okay,
you know now that we have some shrimp and grits

(35:39):
and shit, I just want to tell your ass. Listen,
you gotta go to rehab because even though you were
found not guilty, you still have a lot of shit
that you gotta deal with, and you're still battling with
drug abuse, which is a huge thing that he's experiencing
and he's still battling with. So she's like, I'm gonna

(36:00):
call the people over and they're gonna take your ass
to rehab, okay. And he was like, you know what,
I can't stand your ass, but I love you. And
then she was like I love you too, And you
could tell that she did it out of love. She
did it because she genuinely cared for Ozzie and his
best interest. And throughout the season, if you've seen Ozzie's story,

(36:21):
you would realize that a lot of his family members,
they are selfish, as hell. They really just care about themselves.
They don't really care about Ozzie. Ozzie has honestly been
their provider, like he was the one with the talent,
and they were using the hell out of him. Between
his sister, between his mom, between his dad, they were

(36:43):
using this man, and they kind of trying to put
a nasty taste in her mouth about his girlfriend and
make it seem like maybe she was possibly using him
for his money. She just didn't have his best interests
at heart. But come to find out towards it and
his girlfriend was honestly, aside from Jackson's lawyer, was the

(37:05):
only person in his corner that had his genuine his
best interest. She was the only one who was ride
or died for this man. Although he kind of treated
her like shit, she was still riding for him up
until the very end before her murder. So then towards
the end, Ozzie Sally overdoses in Jacks's I don't know

(37:29):
if that was her bedroom or maybe like a bedroom
in the house. And that's one thing I wish they
would have went into more detail with that, because that
is unusual finding this man knowing that you represented him
in court knowing that he is not guilty and his
verdy was just reached and finding his ass overdosed in

(37:50):
one of your bedrooms, there would be a lot of speculation.
She would be all over the news, like literally all
over the news. This is gonna look weird for her.
But they kind of fast forward and skipped ahead. So
Ozzie sadly lost his battle to drug edition and they

(38:10):
kind of did like a little fast forward. They had
his funeral. It was really really sad. Jess was deeply
hurt by this because she really wanted the best for
Ozzie and to see that he again lost his battle,
it was a sad thing. It kind of made her
seem like, well, I don't know exactly because I'm not hurt,
but in my opinion from what I've seen on the show,

(38:33):
I'm pretty sure she felt like, damn, was all of
this for nothing? Like was there anything else that I
could have done to help this young man? It was
just insane. It really it broke my heart because I
was so invested in Ozzie's story and I really wanted
the best for him. You have so many people around
you who truly do not care about you, and just

(38:53):
for him to go to therapy. I was hoping that
there would be a moment where he realized that and
kind of say, separated himself from his family and did
his own thing. And I was even hoping that maybe
they could have brought Ozzie back net season and kind
of have Ozzie be a part of the family like Jacks,
really take him in and step up and kind of be,

(39:16):
if not a mother, an older like in the older
sister to Ozzie, you know, someone to show up in
the ropes get him back on the right path. I
also thought that maybe this could have been a good
job for the for Jack's husband, because he's just qunching
numbers in that mother fucking computer. He could be like
a you know, maybe Ozzie's new manager and guide him

(39:40):
in the right direction. That's what I was hoping for.
I wanted to see something like that, But again they
did not. And you know, sadly, Ozzie will not be
on any future seasons because he is no longer here
with us. So then afterwards Bill makes partner, which is
something something I already seen coming. I don't know how

(40:02):
he did it. I don't know how they were gonna
write it in but he did it and he made partner.
This pissed Jack saw so much that she's like, you
know what, I'm gonna pack up my shit and I'm
leaving this law firm. And not only does she leave
the law firm, but she opens up her own law firm,
which I'm like, this woman is a boss. She said,
fuck these people, I'm gonna open up my own shit,

(40:24):
and it's my shit. I produce this shit, I run
this shit, I write this shit. And that's what she did. Sadly,
something that happens is Brandy Evans' character, which is the
manager of Ozzie, the one that kicked out of his
life during his trial, the one who was, you know,

(40:45):
socially assaulting him and you know, messing around with him
all that stuff. She comes in Jackson's new law firm
and she pulls out a gun and she shoots at somebody.
Now I don't know who got shot, but I could
tell you the three people that were in the hallway.
It was Jack's, it was Jack's husband, and it was

(41:07):
Jack's assistant. Now whoever got shot, Oh, y'all, let's talk
about predictions. My personal opinion, I feel like she shot
Jack's husband. The reason I say that is because it's
very convenient, Like we just seen More's Chestnuts character come back,
and I feel like what they're gonna do is probably

(41:28):
put him in critical condition and during that time, Jackson
is going to fall in love with Morris Chestnuts character.
That is my personal prediction, because before they kind of
teased a little like thing going on between them, but
then they dropped it to focus on her relationship with
her husband, maybe because they thought that was gonna be

(41:50):
the last season. They didn't think they would get renewed,
so they kind of kept them on a good track.
But seeing that they got renewed for another season, they
needed more drama and they need something that's gonna stick.
So I think that's gonna be the thing, and boy
would I love to see it. So again I say,
if you have not seen reasonable doubt, you need to

(42:12):
go see it. Three seasons, three amazing seasons. Every season
is good, every episode is good. You have to see it.
It's a show. It's one of the Who's It's the
Who's Who of Hulu. I will say that I think
it's very It's worth it, and the cast is amazing too,

(42:34):
So y'all go check that out, But y'all, that's pretty
much all I have because it is Sunday, which means
the new episode of Households of Potoma comes on tonight,
and you know, until next week, Kayo will return and
she's gonna put out some amazing content for you guys.
She's probably gonna really give you the details on her

(42:56):
Bramo Con experience for twenty twenty five, you know, Monsey,
some special guests. But I'm really excited for that, and
I hope you guys are too, and I will talk
to you guys soon. I hope you have an amazing
rest of your week. I hope you have a happy Sunday. Bye, y'all,
