Speaker 1 (00:21):
Hey, guys, what is going on? This is Aaron.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
As you know, Keya is in I was gonna send
New York because last time she went to New York,
but Keya is actually in Las Vegas right now. I
have to think about that. She's in Las Vegas. And
you know why she's in Las Vegas. She is in
Las Vegas for Bravo Con. And I don't know if
you guys listened to the last episode, but I told

(00:46):
you guys, I was not able to go to Bravo
Con because I have a job and because I could
not get time off. Now this is a brand new job.
I know a lot of y'all are like, well, you
should have another fucking time off by now, because you
start to work at the beginning of the year. Yes,
I did.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
I started a job.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
At the beginning of the year and then I stayed
up until July. Just to give you a little bit
of insight on that. And it was a few things
that happened, but ultimately I was unhappy with that particular position.
And y'all know, and if you didn't know, I am
the type of person if something isn't working for me,

(01:25):
I will get up and I will leave that shit,
and it's like, you know, sometimes that's good, sometimes that's bad.
Do I wish I would have put more time in
that position and like maybe gave it a little bit
more time before I made my decision. Ultimately, yes, yes,
if I could go back, I would have definitely stayed
a little bit longer just to see if things improved.

(01:49):
But during that particular month, I was just really strong
will and y'all know how Leo's get. Once some shit
starts going wrong, our ass like we start flipping out,
and then to keep our sanity, we just remove ourselves
from that situation.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
But enough of that. I did get a new job
and I started. When did I start.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
I started the beginning of this month, actually last week,
So last week was my first week of working this job.
And y'all know, when you start a job, you really
can't have time off like that. But I'm definitely gonna
miss a lot of you guys, especially seeing you sharing
that Bravo Con experience. I was there at the last

(02:34):
Bravo Con and we had an amazing time. I seen
some of you guys there and it was so nice
to just like connect in person because it's definitely a
difference between you know, listening to us on here and
then interacting with you guys in the comment section, but
just seeing you guys in person, it's like, Wow, we

(02:55):
could really we could literally eat a whole ass turkey
leg together and take pictures and all that stuff. I
know that's random as hell, but we can and you know,
so that's why I think it's so fun.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
And I'm kind of bummed that I'm not.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Going to be able to be there with Keya, but
I will definitely be supporting her from Florida, like you know,
and she's gonna be showing y'all some bravoklaan and stuff.
So if y'all see her, definitely say hi, you know,
take pictures with her and send them with me.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
So I can see you guys.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
But I just want to get into how is everybody doing?
That's what I want to first ask, because I know
we're experiencing the government shut down. I know this is
affecting a lot of people. So if this is affecting you,
I just want to straight up say I am so sorry,
and you have my sympathy, you have my condolences, you

(03:47):
have everything.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Is that the right word to say? Condolences?

Speaker 2 (03:51):
But yes, if that is the right word, you have
that because I'm hearing so many stories about people just
having a tough time when it comes to work, when
it comes to just personal life, you know, benefits that
all that other stuff. It's just a really tough time
right now. So my heart definitely goes out to you.

(04:13):
But back on the positive note, guys, it's November. You
know what that means. Thanksgiving is right around the corner.
And you know what that means, It's gonna be time
to eat soon. That is my favorite time of the year.
I love Thanksgiving. I love Christmas too, don't get me wrong.
You know the month of December, K's birthday, all that

(04:34):
good stuff. You know how she gives on her birthday,
and you know Christmas that's the separate time. But Thanksgiving,
it's time to eat.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
What are you guys cooking?

Speaker 2 (04:44):
You know, I had somebody let me actually pull her
up on Instagram so I can shout her out here
on the podcast, because last.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Week she told me that she made or was it
earlier this week she told me she made a pot
pot roast.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
I was gonna say a podcast a pot and it's
Tiffany shout out to you. Tiffany, but apparently I motivated
her to make a pot roast. Y'all know, it's a
good time other year to make a pot roast or
a stew. I've been telling y'all in Florida it is
literally in the sixties right now. I'm gonna tell y'all

(05:18):
the weather here and this is very rare for Floridians.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Well damn, I can't even tell y'all.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Shit, it's seventy two right now, but trust me, at
nighttime it's gonna be like fifty three. And for Floridians,
that is cold as hell. So wherever you guys are,
leave comments. Let me know what is the weather like there?
Is it cold at hell? Do y'all got on y'all
meat bubble goose? Do y'all have on the big coats
like the fur coats? Please let me know. But yes,

(05:49):
this is the season to make a pot roast, y'all.
When I say I've been.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Making pot roast out of anything like pot roast and stews.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Last it was like two weeks to go. I took
some ribs out and have you.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Guys ever had stew ribs?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
And I'm talking about the country style ribs like the
ones that you get depending on where you shop. I
shop at publics, so I get the country style ribs.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Normally, I just put.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Them bitches in the oven and it is what it is,
and I just let them go and then I do
the barbecue sauce, or I'll put them on the grill
if I am around the grill.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
But this time around, I.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Said, you know what, I'm gonna season these bitches up
and I'm gonna put them in the pot seerum. I
added some browning sauce because I don't really do the
brown sugar technique. I know a lot of people do.
I just don't have the patience for all this shit.
I just missed it, missed it in the browning, put
my seasoning salta my veggies and all of that, added

(06:49):
my meat back to the pot, made me a broth,
and then I just put the bitch on.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
I just let it go on.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
And on, and I cooked that for about i'd say
maybe an hour and a half an hour in forty
five minutes, I'd say, then, you know, I added me
some carries, I added me some potatoes, and it was
just amazing. Like when I say that thing was fall
off the bone. I don't know if you guys seen that,
but I posted it on Instagram.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
It was so good.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
I literally posted today as well because this episode is
going to be out pretty late. But yes, if you
have a pot ROAs recipe, if you have any stews
that you're making, And I just find it so interesting too,
because you can literally make a stew out of anything.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
I never thought in a million years that I would
make a stew with.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Ribs, like if somebody were telling me that before I
really started cooking.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Oh, I made a stew and I'm like, okay, well
what was in your stew?

Speaker 2 (07:46):
And they were like ribs. I'll literally be like, that
don't sound right. Something doesn't sound right when I hear stew's.
I'm used to either beef, some kind of you know, chicken.
Maybe I never heard anything about the rib sto. I
was very new to that.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
So yes, if you have any stuid recipes, please let
me know. But anyway, the.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Real reason that I call you guys here is because
reasonable doubt is back, y'all season three. Now, let me
tell you a little bit about this show. So I
last sometime last year, I seen the first episode of
the show and I immediately cut that shit off. I
was not in the mood to see the show for
whatever reason. I just wasn't. And that's how I am like,

(08:33):
I have to go back to a show at some
point sometimes because I just it just doesn't catch my attention.
I fall asleep, I get on my phone, I started
making the pot roast, whatever the case may be, and
I'll just turn something on in the background. And this
was the show that I turned on last year, so
I just seen like one episode and then I never revisited.

(08:58):
I never had a plan to revisit it this year.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
My mom made it one of my.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Missions because this is the show that she really enjoys.
And at first I was skeptical because I'm like, you know,
my mom looks at some of my mom likes mad Lock.
I don't think there's anything wrong with mad Lock. But
I'm just like, that's not you know, we don't have
really the same taste in shows. Every now and then

(09:23):
we can watch something together, but it's you know, sometimes
it's very rare. And my mom is also a contrarian.
Not to get on her too much, but if I
really like something, not at ten times she doesn't like it.
And if she really likes something nine ten times I
don't like it. So I guess we're both contrarians. We're

(09:43):
both Leo's too, so that could be another reason. But
she was like, Aaron, I need you to watch this show.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Because it's really good.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
It has Denzel Washington's wife in it too, if you
guys don't know, and she is really good. She plays
the mother of the main character, which is Jets. Now,
my mom has a thing for Denzel Washington, so she's
never been too fun.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Of paul Letter. They have their little beef.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
I don't know if Paulita knows, but my mama and
Paulta are beefing real bad. But just to give you
guys a little synopsis of the show, the show is
centered around Jacks.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Jacks is a lawyer. She's a boss, she's a power player,
she's all of the things. She's a lawyer, she's a mother,
she's a wife.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Did you hear the conviction of my voice when I
said that, yes, she's all of those things. The show
is really about her navigating life. The first season, she's
kind of like tied between going okay, so to start, y'all,
I can be bad at this, so to start things
off on the first season. I can't I'm not gonna

(10:47):
give you guys all the details that each season. But
the first season, she was in a love try and
go between her husband and between this other guy played
by Michael Ealy. Now, I guess her and her husband
were going to a little separation or whatever, so she
was kind of playing around. She actually met Michael Eee
prior to meeting her husband, but then Michael Eely went

(11:08):
to jail, and then he got out of jail, so
now she's kind of one between back and forth between him.
He ends up being crazy towards the end once she
decides that she wants to get back with her husband
and he holds her hostage. He kidnaps her. It's the
craziest shit ever. And then he takes his own life
at the end because he realizes, you know what, she's

(11:31):
not coming back to my ass. She's too far gone. Ultimately,
she's gonna be with her husband. She does not want me,
And I guess he also felt like he was in
a position.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
Where he felt really alone.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
Him and his brother were not on the best terms,
and you know, with him being you know, he just
got out of jail, so he.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Doesn't really have much of her career.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
He hasn't really made anything out of himself, so it's
a bunch of stuff. Then second season, you know, Jackson
still traumatized from what happened and like she was literally
kidnapped the first season, so now she's like going through
all that trauma. She's going to a therapist. She's also
a marriage counselor trying to get her marriage back on track,
and it's very difficult, but eventually they're able to make

(12:14):
it through, and you know, everything gets better for them.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Now. I know y'all are probably used to be saying.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
When I want to see somebody go through a divorce
or when I want to see, you know, some shit
not work out with.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
This particular situation, That's how I felt. Honestly.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
I felt like they really put her and her husband
back together a little bit too fast. I kind of
wanted to see her explore her other options, especially because
they brought Morris Chestnut in the second season, and he
was also a lawyer and they worked very well together
on cases, and I thought that was going to turn
into a thing, and it did not, because he eventually

(12:56):
left town and she was like, yeah, you know, I
was fucking around the first season, but now that I'm
back with my husband, it's nothing that's messing that up.
So kudos to Jack's first staying with her husband. I
kind of wish things were different, but that's a whole
other topic. So now that we're on the third season,
this season we are introduced. So every season there is

(13:19):
this big case that Jatz has to win. In this
particular season, we're introduced to Ozzi. Now, Ozzy is a
child star. That's how he comes on the show. He's
an adult now, but he's known for being a child star.
He was in like movies, TV shows and all this stuff.
And at the beginning, it kind of shows Jats trying

(13:42):
to represent him, I guess, and maybe work with him
for a few things, but it wasn't anything. And let
me be more specific too, So every season is.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
A murder case.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Just to be a little bit more specific because I
know I said it's a big case, but every season it's.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
A murder case.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
So when we met Ozzie, he didn't murder anybody, but
I say, like on the second or third episode, his
girlfriend ends up dead and they're trying to figure out
what happened to her. And of course they frame him
for killing his girlfriend. So we also found out that
Ozzie has experienced a lot of psychological trauma essay, you know,

(14:26):
such aal so. And this is by his manager, who's
played by Brandy Evans. If you don't know her, Mercedes
from Pea Valley. She plays his manager. Now, I guess
when he was a child or whatever, you know, she
was messing around with him, and she's also been messing
around with him as an adult. You know, it's just

(14:46):
a lot of stuff. It's a lot of stuff that
comes out about this kid, Like you find out that
he hasn't even experienced normal things that a kid would
have experienced. And you know, when you hear a lot
of child like stories about child stars, Amanda Bonds a
lot of these other people, just just to throw out
a name for an example, you really realized that they

(15:07):
didn't have much of a childhood. They weren't able to
go to theme parks, they weren't able to really have
sleepovers and have that normal experience.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
Because they were at work. And you know, and this
story was very.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Interesting to me because I've always been interested in the
lives of child stars and how they navigate you know,
in their adulthood. We didn't really pay attention to that
shit because we were kids ourselves when we were watching
these child stars on TV and they were keeping us entertained,
not realizing that this was this was a job.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
They were at work. We thought this was all like,
we were all having fun. Shit.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
When I used to watch the Amanda show, I'm like,
we're all having a good time. Come to find out,
we weren't having shit. Amanda was just at work. We
were enjoying the hell out of it, but Amanda was
at work. And it's the same thing with I Carley,
like finding out that Jane mccurty did not want to
do this shit. Finding all of that out is it's
kind of insane.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
And so with this story, just just to.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Get back on track, it's seeing this guy and seeing
that he didn't really get that normal childhood experience. It's
really sad, guys, it's sad to watch. And honestly, I
will say, out of all of the cases throughout these
three seasons, this is the most interesting to me because
it's so many angles of this case. You also find

(16:33):
out that you know, he murdered his childhood dog. He's
very aggressive, when he was a kid. He's the threat
and some of the employees on set they were scared
as hell of this little boy. And so with all
that being said, like once you kind of see that,
you're like, well, damn, did.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
He kill her? Because he is aggressive?

Speaker 2 (16:52):
You know, he does do drugs from time to time.
He has experienced a lot of trauma. So did they
cause him to kill this girl? You know, did all
all of that stuff calls him to kill his girlfriend?
And I guess that's what you know. Shit, I'm on
the ninth episode and we're still trying to figure that
out because they don't really reveal anything until like the
last episode, or maybe the episode before that.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
They save the best parts for.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Last, but none of that giving you a little bit
of background on the show. Hopefully it will influence you
to watch with me, because this is a really good show.
So let's kind of get into this particular episode. Episode
nine is the latest episode out, so we're introduced to
Bill at the beginning of the season.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Now, Bill is.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
Played by Joseph Sakora. I believe that's his last name.
Y'all may know him as Tommy from Power, but he
is doing a hell of a job on this show.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
You know, he's introduced.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
As a lawyer and he works for the same firm
as jack who's the main character again, and we kind
of see him trying to find his footing in, you know,
in the law firm, like he's trying to move.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
With the big dolls.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
He's trying to really get recognition for his work, and
that kind of causes a little bit of a tiff
between him and Jacks because Jackson is like, I've been
here for a really long time, please do not step
on my toes.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
And on his end, he's.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Kind of like, well, I'm good at what I do,
and I'm also a man because, as you know, like
in a law firm, it's a man thing. The men
get all the big cases. The men are known for
doing all the hard work, or at least it appears
that that's how it appears. But young, you know, the
women are always behind the scenes doing the buckle the work.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
That's usually how it works.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
I don't know if that's really how it is in
the actual law firm, but I know on shows like
Scandal and all this stuff, that's.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Usually how it is.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
And then they put men on the pictures and you'd
be like, damn, did they do all this stuff? And
it's like, no, actually, Kerrie Washington did all that shit.
So that's kind of how it is on this show.
Like I said, he's trying to find his footing in
the law firm, but he's also going through a divorce
right now because his wife she doesn't want to be
with him. They have I think one or two kids together.

(19:14):
And his wife is played by the oldest daughter on
the Miss Pat Show, So I was like when I
seeing her, I was like, oh, I know her from somewhere.
But yes, his character on here is very interesting and
it's very different from Tommy. If you're used to seeing
him as Tommy on Power, this is gonna be like
you're in another You're on another planet. That's how it
feels when I watch this show. It's like he's totally

(19:36):
different from that character. So at the beginning, Bill's character,
he's really shifty.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
I'm not even gonna lie.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
But eventually, like between seeing him go through his divorce
and seeing him, you know, try to be a really
good dad and you know balance, Like like I said,
finding his footing in the law firm, it kind of
humanizes him. So you start to feel bad for him,
and he's also well, he gains respect for Jets because
she does check him a few times. There are other

(20:05):
lawyers on that particular firm that want to undermine Jets
as well, and they're trying to put Bill up front
so that the men can take over.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
But Bill's plan is not working out.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
And Bill kind of doesn't even want to go through
with this plan because, like I said, he's gaining a
lot of respect for Jets. And he's like, you know what,
I like this lady and I don't want to take
her position.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
I don't want to undo all the hard work she's doing.
I'll overshadow that.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
I kind of want to sit back, and they're kind
of putting him on the spot, like, bitch, we came
up with a plan and you have to take her down.
But he's like, I don't know if I want to
do that. So that's what's going on with them too.
And then going back to Ozzie, because like I said,
that's what this season is really centered around this particular case.
You find out more stuff about Ozzie in his childhood.

(20:53):
You find out, like I said, he has not done anything.
He doesn't even know. So the whole thing was that
his girlfriend was killed at their family's cabin. Now Ozzie's like,
I couldn't killed her because I don't even know what
the fuck the cabin is. Like, I said, this boy this,
I keep calling him a boy, but he's really a man.

(21:14):
But he has a boy like mentality because he's still
a child in the head. And he's like, I couldn't
have killed this girl because I don't even know how
to get to the family's cabin. He doesn't even drive
himself around. Really, he has a whole team to do that.
So at this point, I'm just trying to figure out,
did he kill the girl? Did he not kill the girl?

(21:35):
We also find out towards the end. We also find
out towards the end that Ozzie's sister may have played
a part in this, and it kind of leaves off
on like a cliffhanger, because towards the end, Ozzie's sister
is asked if she killed Ozzie's girlfriend, and she's speechless,
like she doesn't know what to say. She does have

(21:56):
resentment for Ozzie because growing up she feels like her
parents really catered to Ozzie and they kind of left
her in the dust and they didn't really pay attention
to her at all, and she's a little shysty herself,
Like if y'all can see, she got a boy beat
up for her brother that was messing with him because
he was like blackmailing them and he's like, well, I

(22:19):
know certain information and I will go forth if you
guys don't pay me. And she got some people to
beat the shit out of that boy and he almost
lost his life, but he is still alive. So I'm
trying to figure out what part that boy is going
to play in all of this. But guys, it's a
really good show. I need you to watch. I really

(22:40):
do need you to watch. But to touch base on
something else that's very important to me, Grey's Anatomy. Have
you guys been watching because it's a lot of shit
going on. It's a lot of shit going on, y'all know,
every season something very traumatic happens. This particular season, they
had another explosion at the damn hospital. They don't know

(23:00):
why in the hell they keep doing the explosions, like
it is beyond crazy.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
They have burned this hospital down.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
They've rebuilt it at not the whole hospital, like they've
had so many bomb threats throughout the season. People have
lost their life. Y'all remember that paint If you watch
Gud's anatomy. The plane crash episode was the most traumatizing thing.
But this season they had a little explosion and one
of the nurses that I really didn't care for. I

(23:27):
can't even tell you her name because I really didn't
care for her at all. She wasn't really important to me.
She was only on for maybe a season or two,
but she lost her life in the explosion because she
got trapped under this object and I guess it crushed
her or whatever. I know that sounds really horrible, but yeah,
I didn't really care for her characters.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
So when they killed her off, I was like, oh, okay,
but Joe is still pregnant, and y'all know, Joe gets
on my damn nerves. I cannot do Joe.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
I can't stand the whining, Like I feel like all
she does is and complaints and she's never at work.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
How do you still have a job?

Speaker 2 (24:04):
Every time something traumatic happened in her life, this lady
does not want to go to work. She is home,
she's on her couch. There's so many scenes of her
eating ice cream and crying damn, like they have not
fired your ass yet. I guess at the hospital. Maybe
at Grey's Anatomy, they give you a lot of time off.

(24:24):
I guess at Grace Sloan, What is the fuck is
the name? Grace Sloan, Memorial, Jackson West, whatever the hell
is called. It's so many names, Fox West whatever. They
give you a lot of PTO, I'm guessing, because if
you still have a job, how are you paying your bills?

(24:45):
Like it must be a point where they're just maybe
she takes a league, Like I don't even know how
that shit works, but I feel like they pay hers
so much for nothing. And then when the hell did
Teddy become a lesbian?

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Like are you guys seeing this shit?

Speaker 2 (25:01):
So Teddy gave Owen permission to sleep with someone else,
and then she gets mad when he actually does it,
And that was very confusing to me because I'm like, Teddy,
you're the one that told him he could sleep with
somebody else, and now that he does it, her ass
doesn't on any parts. She doesn't even know she wants
to be married anymore to Owen. And I felt that
coming for a while because Owen and Teddy have been

(25:23):
going through it for like three seasons now four seasons.
Even before they got together and they got married, Owen
and Teddy were always on the opposite side of the
fence because Owen is ultimately still in love with Christina
and you can't tell me anything different.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
I don't care.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
I don't give a fuck what anybody says, And that's
just my feelings towards it and Teddy. I never imagined
that Teddy would be a lesbian or bisexual whatever they're
doing with her character, but she, when I say she is,
she cannot get off this girl. Like every other episode,
they are sleeping with each other, they are flirting. It

(26:03):
has gotten awkward, it's gotten uncomfortable. Like I guess they're galpals,
like I don't even know what to call it, friends
who occasionally sleep with each other. The woman that she's
sleeping with its also married, which is like, I'm like,
is this some swinger shit? But I feel like that's
what it's going to turn into. Really, as far as

(26:24):
the other characters, I'm just not interested in anybody else.
Miranda Bailey, they really haven't been doing much with her,
Like she's back full time and her husband is also
working at the hospital and he works under Teddy, which
kind of pisses me off because Teddy Teddy really treats
him like shit and I don't like that. And that's

(26:46):
always been my problem with Teddy. When she's going through something,
she takes it out on everybody else, kind of like Amelia.
If y'all know amelia' that's doctor Shepherd's sister.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
And her ass.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
Every time something doesn't go her way, every time her
relationship is on the rocks, she comes to work and
she starts slipping shit and acting pissy.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
She treats everybody like.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
Shit, and it's like, girl, you guys work at a hospital.
You cannot be doing all of this, like the way
they throw fits and tantrums and like they're working on
brain surgeries and all of a sudden.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
And she's like, no, fuck that, don't fuck that.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
And it's like, girl, why are you selling out at
these people's hospital like this? It's unacceptable. I don't know
how they have not fired Teddy's ass. I don't know
how they haven't fired Amelia's ass either, because she's no better.
They're both two sides of the same coin. If that's
how that saying goes the same side of the same whatever. Okay,

(27:59):
I'm not even gonna keep with that.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
Shit, but Teddy's ass needs to get fired.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
In a million's ass needs to get fired, and in
my opinion, Teddy and a million they should have been
fired when they pulled that little shit. You remember two
seasons ago, and this is for my Grays anatomy watchers,
it was either two or three seasons ago, they were
doing a lot of illegal shit with the veterans. Some
of you may consider them freedom writers, I guess, or

(28:27):
like you know, like the Harriet Tubmans of Grays and
that maybe that's not good. I don't want to say
the wrong thing.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Maybe not the Harriet Tugmans. Maybe that was a little
bit too much.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
But some of you may consider them like good people,
but I do not view Owing and Teddy as good people.
Like they were administering drugs to the veterans, and I understood,
like a lot of the veterans they were getting all
kinds of cancers from like all that stuff that they
were inhaling in war or whatever that was, and these
drugs were supposed to like kill them but slow. And

(29:03):
so one of the men, I don't know if that.
I think that was last season. So one of the
men came to the hospital and his wife was dying,
and he's like, yo, like, I know what the fuck
y'all be doing, and I know y'all give veterans drugs,
So y'all need to hook my wife up and give
her some drugs because she is dying and I don't

(29:25):
want her to keep having to go.

Speaker 1 (29:26):
Through all these surgeries. Give her the drugs. Now, give
her to the drugs. Now, That's what he was.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
Saying, And Teddy and Owen were kind of like, Nope,
I can't do it.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
They were like, hell, no, I can't do it. I'm
not doing that. I'm not doing that shit.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
We just got our jobs back at the hospital and
we're not trying to fuck anything up. But that man
was like, listen, if you don't do it, we're gonna
go to the board.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
And we're gonna tell.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
And when I say that, man literally went back and
they told everything, and I'm not gonna lie. I did
feel bad for Teddy and Owen during that particular time
because it wasn't like they were doing that just to
do it, like they were actually helping veterans. Depending on
how you view it like, and I know that that

(30:15):
was a very sensitive subject because a lot of those
people were dying and it wasn't their fault, and they
wanted to help their families. Like a lot of the
spouses if their husbands or wives were in the military
and they were like dying of cancer, they didn't want
to see them go through all of that and struggle.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
So it's like, yeah, they did need that help.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Maybe they did, you know, maybe they could have went
another route, But ultimately I could see why they would
want that help, and I could see why Owen and
Teddy would want to do that because y'all know Owen,
both Owen and Teddy were in the military at one point,
so they're kind of used to that shit.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
But I didn't feel bad.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
But the way those bitches came and got their job back,
I did not care for that part because I'm like
my girl Meredith.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
Y'all remember when she used her insurance.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
She used her child's health insurance for that kid because
the kids that like, the kid needed surgery and I
forgot which season that was, but the dad wasn't able
to afford the surgery. So Meredith was like, bitch, you
know what Meredith Locks saying she was like, bitch, you
can use my daughter's health insurance actually, and I'm just

(31:24):
gonna put you under her health insurance and we're gonna
get the surgery done. But when they found that shit out,
they almost locked merediths ass. Oh, do y'all remember that
she had to go to trial. She lost her job,
she was about to lose her kids, she was about
to go to jail. And they literally held the whole

(31:45):
trial with her. And it took God, it took avery.
It took everybody, literally every staff member at that hospital
to save Meredith's career and convince those.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
People not to take her ass to jail.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
But I'm like, ten and Owen get on a plane
and they go to another country for like I guess,
a week or two. Then they come back and they
have their fucking jobs. And not only do they have
their jobs, but they actually have high rank positions at
the hospital. Like, what in the fuck is going on?

(32:20):
That is what I'm saying. With Grey is anatomy. Shanda
stopped playing with me, Stop playing with me. And then
I've seen a poll on Facebook and they did a
poll and they were like, who are Who's a character?
That you can't stand and that you can't root for,
like you will never root for. And a lot of
people chose Maggie. And I'm like, girl, Maggie, Like of

(32:44):
all the people on this show who need to go,
y'all chose Maggie. That was crazy as hell to me.
Maggie did not do shit for and I don't know,
it kind of feels a little bit racist. I'm not
gonna lie. I'm just saying I'm not gonna lie. It
feels racist to me because I'm like, for all of
you to choose Maggie. I'm not gonna say all of
you because you guys didn't do it. But did some

(33:06):
of you do it?

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (33:09):
I was just asking, but to see that they chose
Maggie when Teddy and Owen are at the hospital, when
Joe is at that hospital with that girl with that
fucked up hair do is at that hospital. I don't
know what her name, I forgot her name, but she
If you guys are still watching grays Anatomy, even if
you watch last season, you know exactly who I'm talking about.

(33:30):
The girl who has the sides of her hair shaved
like that shit is so ugly to me. And this
season they made it worse because they tried to put
that shit in a ponytail, and then a few episodes
ago they gave her a bang.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
So I want you guys to do something.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
If you haven't, if you don't know who this girl is,
close your eyes.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
Let's all close our eyes.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
Imagine somebody with both of the sides of their head shaved,
like the sides, and I'm imagine them with a ponytail. Okay,
y'all got that. But the ponytail isn't like, it's not
their hair. It's a bunch of extensions put together to

(34:12):
form a ponytail. And imagine somebody just going to the
front of their fucking head and clipping that bang on
the front.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
What in the hell is that? Imagine that?

Speaker 2 (34:34):
Imagine that that shit was so hideous. I was I
was defended, and she happens to be a black girl,
and it's like, I hate it.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
I really don't even like her character. I'm gonna be honest.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
And I tried to root for her because her grandma
is the lady who plays her grandma is the lady
from two two seven, Marla Gibbs. If you know, you know,
y'all know I love me some Marla Gibbs. That is
a legend to me. So I was like, Okay, out
of respect for the girl who plays your grenda, I'm
gona lead that shit alone. But seeing how they keep

(35:09):
trying to fuck out of this girl's character and they
keep creating, I don't know who's the writer. I don't
know who the writer is on grazing out of me.
I don't know if it's still Shanda. I can't imagine
that Shanda would still be homewriting these scripts this many
seasons in. It has to be somebody else. But whoever
it is, you guys are doing a horrible job.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
This season. It's just.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
I'm not interested. I will say that, like, I'm not interested.
And the thing is, you guys keep sucking up because
we don't want to see this. They always bring in
these new interns, because you know every season they bring
in new interns.

Speaker 1 (35:50):
Are every few seasons.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
I'd say, like sometimes it'll be like three seasons and
then they'll bring in new interns, and then they'll wait
like another four seasons and then they'll bring in a
new set. The last good set of interns was with Schmidt.
That was the last good group of interns.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
One Schmidt left with Schmidt left this shit. Schmidt left
last season. Schmid's team was the last team. The new
interns that they brought in after Schmidt. I don't know
what in the hell they were thinking. These people are
the it's the worst cast, Like none of them can act.
The girl, she doesn't have no storyline. One minute, she's

(36:28):
smooching with the guy. Now she's smooching with what's his
name because they just brought him man, what's his name?
Now she's smooching with Trevor Jackson.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
And it's like, I don't even know when the hell
he decided to become a doctor or get on Gray's Anatomy.
I don't know what's going on with his career, but
I just felt like this wasn't a good fit for him.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
I did not want to see him on my screen
when I'm watching.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
Gray's Anatomy, unless he's a patient or unless you know,
he's a love interest that I can accept, but at
that hospital, I don't want to see that. I do
not want to see that. And you know, maybe I
could have gotten with it if they actually gave him
a good storyline, but they did not, and they missed
the mark, and just like they missed the mark for

(37:13):
everybody else, this season is horrible.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
It's like the worst piece of TV that I have
seen in a while.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
And I just don't know, guys, I don't know how
many seasons I'm gonna be able to stick in after this.
I think I'm kind of at my wits end with
this season, But you guys know, I love Gray's Anatomy,
so I'm gonna keep watching. Like I just talked all
this shit, but I'm still gonna watch. And I really
want to see if they bring back Christina because I

(37:41):
heard that Christina is open to coming back.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
I heard that, you know a few of the other.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
Cast members may possibly be coming back towards the end
of the season, So I'm kind of looking forward to
seeing who they are.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
Hoping.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
It's easy because I want to see what happened to
those kids and I want.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
To see how her and not O'Malley what's his name?

Speaker 2 (38:10):
And I'm hoping that two of those characters are Korrev
and Izzy because I want to see their kids. Like
when Karrev left, I didn't really care for Karev's character
for a while, but I didn't want him gone, like.

Speaker 1 (38:22):
He was one of those characters on the show where
it's like.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
He was necessary. He was like a power player. He's
a part of the main cast. Even if you didn't
like Karev, you just kind of accepted things for what
they were and you just headed him in silence because
you're like, he can't.

Speaker 1 (38:39):
Go nowhere now.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
O'Malley. O'Malley was a hit or miss for me. I
didn't really care when they killed him off. I was like, oh,
I didn't really care about that at all. I know
it broke a lot of people's heart. I know it did,
but it did not break mine. I will say that.
But guys, I'm just decided to see who comes back

(39:01):
because this new set of interns, Like I said, it's
not it, It's not it. Maggie needs to stay her
ass in town.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
Amelia.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
I know, I talked about a Millia in her temper
tantrums and how she's always like fuck this, But she
needs to stay on the show. They need to give
her more of a role because they've kind of been
putting her in Meredith in the background, and I.

Speaker 1 (39:21):
Don't like that.

Speaker 2 (39:22):
Like bring back some people, bring back some people. Because
this isn't it.

Speaker 1 (39:29):
But guys, let me know what you think.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
I got to get out of here because I've just
I realize I've been running my mouth a little bit
too much.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
I feel like an hour has passed. Maybe not.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
When we edit this down, we will see And until
next time. Later this week, don't worry, guys, I'm gonna
have some guests and it won't just be me talking
about talking by myself, because I know I probably talked
to your ear off and I do apologize for that, but.

Speaker 1 (39:53):
I do it's out of love. I love you, guys.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
I want to share a lot of my thoughts about
these things, and I need you guys to just, you know,
sometimes listen. All right, but until next time, love you guys.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
Bye, mm hmmmmm
