Hey, hey, hey, hey, guys, I'm back for a little one.
This is the summer I turned Pretty Finale episode Baby.
From beginning to end, they had me stuck like chuck.
I even thought about just so I didn't have to
watch the three commercial breaks because I don't know Prime

was one of those streaming services, although I will say
they they're they're hitting some nachos, they're cooking up some
original flavors. Also, they're doing the damn thing. I always
said that Prime is not going to be one of
those network or streaming networks that I would ever consider upgrading.

But I was so hyped about the summer I turned
Pretty Finale. I was like, should I or should I
wait this minute in thirty seconds? Or should I wait
this two minutes? There were only like three commercial breaks
compared to like four to five usually, and I think
that they know that they didn't want to piss me off.

And wow, like what a season and spoiler alert, you
guys should know this by now, we're gonna have a
summer I turned Pretty movie on the way and wow,
and that's exactly what I wanted. I know a lot
of people online are like, this is not what we need,

especially the book readers. The book readers are like, no,
we don't need a continuation. You know they're together, Like
that's satisfactory. I think that reading the book and reading
the show are two different not reading the show watching
the show, or two different things, am I right? Like

for visual people, we're always wondering what's going to happen after?
What did they do after? How are they living now?
What would happened? You know, when it's not a movie,
especially like when it's a TV show, we want to
know did they get married, did they have children? Are

they staying together? Did it work out? More details than
they can fit into a show or even like kind
of flash forward to into a movie, and they just
feel like, you know, there were some things that I'm
talking to book readers about. They said the whole thing

with Taylor and Steven wasn't a thing first of all,
so obviously they added that. They said that Laura really
didn't have a love life for any reconciliation with the dad,
or if she did, it wasn't explored much. So they
added a few different not storylines necessarily, but more fluff

in the shows because you had eight episodes to fill
and in this case, we had eleven episodes to fill,
which was so random to me, like eleven episodes, that's wild.
But yeah, so I think that because it is a
show and we didn't have Let's be honest, this summer

was dry, dry, dry, like it was really nothing other
than Love Island. And maybe no, that's not why, because
with other things we can stream in between. I mean,
there were like little mini shows here and there. There
was The Hunting Wives, of course, but there's lacking. And

I kept saying this, and I don't know if I
said this on the show, but I definitely threaded it.
I was just like, listen, there's a lack of the
CW type shows, like you know, Netflix is trying to
pick it up and tried to start it with you know,

XO Kitty and My Life with the Walter Boys and
all that stuff. But once Pretty Little Liars ended, I
wouldn't even say Riverdale. I would say once Pretty Little
Liars ended, and there was nothing else to kind of
pick up after that, we lost the sauce. They tried

to reboot everything on HBO Max. They rebooted Pretty Little Liars.
I was the only one who watched every episode of that.
They rebooted Gossip Girl. I was the only one who
watched the episode of that, you know, it just wasn't good.
And now we have some original IP, we have a

ya novel turned TV show, and come on, like, let's
get it started. I hope that they are developing more shows.
You know. I heard that We Were Liars have been
renewed for a season two. They're working on another episode,
not episode, season of you know them Other Liars, the

Hulu Tell Me Lies. I love that cast. They're toxic
as fuck. They're basically like a storyline of Venner Pump Rules.
So we are starting to get in the swing of things.
But what needs to happen is that we need to
stop taking two years to make these fuck ass shows.

I'm sorry. There's nothing about the Summari Turned Pretty. There's
no thing about We Were Liars. There's nothing about more Heads,
there's nothing about telling Me Lies. That should take you
two years to make. Baby Riverdale was putting out twenty
seven episodes in eighteen weeks and had another season coming

a few weeks later. No Ten, No Shade. Pretty Little
Liars was doing the same thing. Gossip Girl was doing
the same thing. The OC was doing the same thing
the networks. The networks were networking. This was public networks too,
So this is when people were able to watch free TV. Okay,
these were on the free channels, well the CW. At

least everyone had the SEA. I don't know about I
don't think free form. But it's like, let's get it
together and let's stop playing with our digs and let's
get these YA shows together. Like there is no reason
that I should be out of YA shows to watch,
you know what I mean. There's a new one called

The Girlfriend, but I don't think that that's why a
that's just a show. But there just needs to be
more of the shows that were on before BIB, Like,
let's get it poppin'. You see, if the demand is there,
there's already like so much material, Like look at the material.

Go to your local Barnes and Noble. Go to your
local Barnes and Noble and ask them. And this is
the show developers, showrunners, you know, people in the business.

So he's just like, yeah, I'm gonna see I'm gonna
I'm gonna go see her and she's with that bunny baby.
She's with and she is just on her vespa living
life and he just shows up And at first I

thought he was gonna do that whole like seeing her
with the man on the bike and then like walking
away and I'm like, we do not have time for this.
Don't piss me off. But he comes straight up to
her and he's like, hey, and Belly has this fuck
ass bob and these fuck ass wedges on and I'm

just like, we're about to go on a fucking ride
and boy did we Oh my god. So she's like, hey,
what are you doing here? At this point, we still
think that she's with Benito. It is literally about to
be her birthday. She's trying to I don't know, I
know you when I'm feeling twenty too. She's hurting twenty

two and she's about to have all her friends gather
for a twenty second birthday. All her friends are like
of different ages, Like there's one woman that's like forty,
there's her roommates that are like fifty, there's her friends
that are like from twenty one to thirty six. And
I'm like, that's that's a real friend right there. Like,

especially when you start to go out into the world, like,
that's a real friend group, a good age variation right there,
and a real good age variation. And she's just like
she goes in the in the house and she is like, well,
before that, she's like, what are you doing here? And
then he's like, well, I'm in Brussels, so I just

wanted to say, you know, happy birthday or whatever. And
he just is the most geeky that I've ever seen him.
I don't know what's like. Jerema is aesthetically pleasing, but
every single thing about him turns me off of him
and Conrad like okay, in Mean Girls, I don't know.

In Mean Girls, he was not giving. He wasn't giving
at all. But on the summer I turned pretty. I
used to always be so confused because I felt like
Jeremiah should be playing the role that Conrad should be playing,
because Conrad seem to be more of the pretty boy,
more like aesthetically and then you know, Jeremiah with like

the colored those not contacts, got to stop playing around
with the colored eyes and the curly hair. I just
think that we needed to throw some glasses on him.
And he was like working under his dad, like he
gave me like the nerdy guy. But whatever, I digress anyways,
So she gets off of the vestba like it's some

she got dropped off, but that's how it felt like.
That was the energy that she was giving. She's like,

chilling with your homeboy, because we find out later that
her and Benito have broken up. So you're chilling. Look

at homeboy, you're looking regularly. You're not looking cute necessarily,
you're not looking fine, but you're not also looking like
you're just looking how you would look when you just
hang out. A step up from when you hang out
with your family, but a step down from when you
hang out with your man. Like, you know, that's what

tussles around that fuck ask Bob, and then she puts
some color on her lips and she was like, Belly,
what are you doing? And I'm like, Belly, you know
exxactly what you're doing. And she's like just play, you know,
like a tour guide for the day and send his

like you moved on, girl. At that point, I thought
she was still with Betty. I'm like, yeah, you don't

very weird that you would spend the whole day with
your ex, who you know is desperately, deeply and truly

takes them here, there, everywhere in Paris. I guess maybe, yeah,
I'll go, I'll go through them first and then we'll
talk about all the little like side stories with Stephen
and Taylor and ooh Jeremiah and Denies. But so she
takes them here there, everywhere, they go to all the

tourist attractions. She is just a pro at this point.
You know, she just knows everywhere she's she she honestly
is a cool girl. And this is the first time
I've ever said that about her, Like she's a bitch
that I want to be like, hey, you got a light,
and bitch, I don't even smoke, and she will have
a light and she smokes weed. Now like this is

be on, and she's just like, don't worry. Yeah, I
used to come here every day, but now I'm a
local and living here and blah blah blah. Then they
go to the birthday party and I'm like, oh shit, okay,
so this is the part where he's gonna have to
be you know, hurt and see her with Benny, and

I'm like, how is this even going to end? Because
we did only have like forty minutes or left in
the episode. This is a ninety minute episode, you guys,
And so we find out like early during the party
that her and Benny have broken up because he was

in targeting Conrad as if they were together. So then
I cheered, not gonna lie because Bennie's fine, but you
know what we're here for. And also I didn't want
to hear y'all's mouth. Y'all make shit, so not y'all listening.

It's it's rary y'all listening, but y'all makes shit so
unfun when the writers want to want to just like
change something a little bit. And it's easy for me
to say because I am not a book reader like that.
I'm an audiobook reader, and I'm very into nonfiction. I

like to hear the story of people's lives, but fiction
RECs i'll do, like well I did. I did the
smut recommendations right. A lot of people recommended some smut
for me, and I definitely want to get into that.
But as far as nonfiction, you're definitely gonna want to
go to some of the best. The best. The best

series ever written is A Diary of a Wimpy Kid,
and I don't think that we talk about that enough.
And that was also a fiction to a fiction to
did I have my phone. That was so ghetto. Why
is it on girls? Shut up? Anyways? That was definitely

a fiction to a movie format a couple of times,
even so much so, like it hits so much so
that they've made a little Christmas special that was cartoon form.
So we have so many different forms of diarvy and

little bit less than a year. Anyway, as long as
Blase Blase, she's turning twenty two. They're always talking around
the table. Benio's jealous, asking why he's there, and it's

around and they say something fucked up shit, not even
gonna lie, Like, I don't know, Billy you you wouldn't
be able to say that shit around me, because she's like, oh, well,
were we together because we were supposed to be together?

like lying on your did mama line, on your dead

And I'm just like, girl, like, can you put it
a little bit like less harsh than that? Watch your

think so. I think if anything, that would have made
things more difficult. And I'm like exactly, like what is this?

So then they you know, talk or whatever, and then
she's like you want to come inside. They start making out,
and I really wish that this was on like HBO

then Conrad is like, okay, great, we back together, and

Because Belly Belly has always felt the same way. So
that's kind of when she pissed me off, because it's like,
we could have had a little bit more of Conrad
and Belly because we waited for so long, ever since

water episode, we waited so long for Conrad's yearning to
come back into fruition, you know what I mean. So
then she's like, yeah, I just I won't stop my
life for you, and I just don't think that you know,

and he's like, I'm gonna take the midnight train to Georgia.
Just kidding. It was like the five am train to
Brussels to go to the conference because he wanted to
take the first day off because that's what he was
there for, was the conference in the first place, Belly bitch.

has been longing after you for five years, five years
and he's a whole ass doctor, like realists, and he's attractive,

the show ends with them walking into the Cousin's home, which, guys,

not understanding this whole season, this whole series. I'm my cousins, cousins, cousins.
It's really filming the Hampton's. It's not a real place.

think about it, Susannah was like an aunt to her,

and then like he was looking up with Steven's coworkers

because Denise finally got the funding for her company. Jeremiah
in the meantime has turned into like a world star chef,
which I didn't see coming, but okay, cool, not even
a world star chef because really he was bugging about
if people were gonna like his food. So anyways, so yeah,

that's what happened. You know, Denise and Jeremiah got together
for some odd reason. I told you to get his
ass off your couch. When you have a man that's
attractive that's in your house, sleeping on your couch and
y'all had these lonely nights and y'all say, oh, well,
you just gonna put on a movie and go hang

out and that's it and we're just friends. No run fast, okay,
Like Florence on the machine, Get this man off your
fucking couch, and now you're stuck with a pussy ass,
cheating ass bum diva down like girl, you're supposed to
be moving to California. I hope you don't think that

The last episode, Stephen quit his job. I assume that
the dad fired Denise and Stephen Quitt. But yeah, he
neglected to tell and I didn't like the storyline. It
was so boring. That's the only complaint that I do have.
He neglected to tell Taylor that they will be moving

to San Francisco, and like the whole time, Taylor is
just acting like a bitch because she just feels like
he should have told her, And they end up talking
about it and she's going to move to San Francisco
with Steven. So that's how it ended. And I guess

the movie is going to give us more of a
peek inside of Conrad and Belly's life because you know
the letter, it was written by Jenny Han and she said, oh,
maybe she hinted basically, and I'm like, oh, she hinted
at it. So maybe a few years from now there

will be like a spinoff or a reunion show or
some shit. But no, bitch, a few hours later, boom
the Summer I turned Pretty is getting a mother fucking movie,
And the plot of it is that Jeremiah is going
to be cheating. Stephen and Taylor are probably gonna have

a baby because they like to surprise people like that.
Conrad and Belly are gonna be married. But what would
be the conflict because we already saw enough conflict with them,
you know what I mean. Look at this point, I
just wanted to be and that's pretty much it. But yeah,

it was a good, serious finale. Obviously. I think that
there was no intention for a movie until they saw
how big it was this summer. And they need to
thank the fact that the CW dropped their ball. They
need to think the fact that Netflix takes two years

to produce their fucking shows for some reason. They need
to think the fact that Freeform has ended all their
flagship shows, like even like the Good Trouble. Even Good
Trouble was gone trial like Good Trouble used to be.
I don't even watch it, but Good Trouble used to
be on every damn by the fucking year, every quarter,

and I was sick of it, to be frank, But yeah,
